Questions

I have already installed this files onto 2 other Window Computer, I removed one of these files.  Then tried to install it on to my new Window Computer and wil not take the S/N. HowdoI fix it.Second Question Would my program convert my HEIC to JPEG Format? If not what programcan? 

I have created a PNG file that is all text. Currently, it is wider than it is tall. I want to edit the text so that it is taller than it is wide, and can't find out how to do that. Every time I try, the cursor moves up and down the text, but I can't edit the position of the text itself. For example, if I wanted to change the oriebntation of this post, I could select the point at which i wanted the line to end for each group of text, then hit "enter" on the keyboard, to make it look like this: I have created a PNG file that is all text. I am a long-time Photoshop Elements user, with 45K+ photos tagged with Keywords, People, Places and Events.  I believe I started with Version 10 on a Windows machine.  Whatever I started with, I had to build Place tags manually, and tagged 10's of 1,000's of pics.  At some point in the upgrade cycle, Adobe's Place function started using Google Maps, and had no ability to 'import' manually generated tags, so a whole new file hierarchy was started, under country names, such as "United States".  Annoying, but I gritted my teeth and stuck with the product line.  When I upgraded to Version 16, Google Maps was no longer used, and I could not create new Places.  Reluctantly I upgraded to Version 17, assuming some sort of compatibility would be achieved.  No.  Worse yet, Adobe now embraces 'Map Box', not compatible with my Google-based Places, or my manually-created Places.  I am disappointed.  If I create new Places in the US, they show up und

I photocopied forty 35 mm slides into Pictures and now want to bring them into Photoshop Elements.  Painfully it seems I can only bring them one at a time., I am only allowed to list one file when I use "Get files".  Is there a way to bring them all at once?

When I am working on a photo in a folder and I want to save the photo with changes, I was always able to "Save As" and add a new name and save in that folder.  Now, all of a sudden, when I go to a folder, chose a photo, make changes, then "Save As", it goes back to the folder I was in previously and saves there.  I now have to always remember to "Save As" and look for the folder that I am in and choose it.  What happened?

I've just downloaded 2021 but it isn't showing the workspace I;m used to, with the black background, just seems to show a 'lite' version? How do I get the workspace showing on the you tube help videos? Thanks.

This might've been posted already, not sure, but I've figured out for the most part how to get a gif to work in PS Elements 15, but when I try to get it to actually save, it says it's "too big" and that I need to either "scale down the image or delete some layers", and I'm wondering just how small exactly does it want me to make this gif?  I've already tried to scale it down to a quarter of its original size; any smaller than that, and you probably won't be able to really see the gif. I've never had this problem out of any other programs before, and I'm genuinely about to go back to one of those programs and manually input all 60-something layers of this gif just so it'll work properly...  But I'd really rather not, so any advice on this would be very welcome.   The gif has 65 layers, and is 534 x 720 pixels, if that's helpful to anyone.   {Thread renamed by moderator}

Yestereday I re-installed Elements 13 due to a computer crash. It is now reinstalled but I have an endless loop thing going on. When I start it up, it says it wants to install the 13.1 update with the option to install it right now or on exit. Either way, it apparently doesn't happen because I get the same message the next time I open it. This renders it useless becasuse you can't just decline the update. I'd appreciate any help someone might be able to offer.

PSE 2021 will now not open (it worked before).  Further, when I go to help and support it says that the product needs to be registered, but when I go to my acount, it shows my registration.  Need any help please.

Is there a way to save my normal settings in the raw conversion screen ?    In my previous version this was possible but with 2021 it always re drystone zero for every setting.    Also can I get rid of the Welcome screen and jump straight to Organizer? 

I am new to PSE although I had been a long-time user of PS CS4. But when I bought a new HP laptop, I couldn't transfer my old PS, so downloaded PSE2021. It opens to a busy welcome screen--but I'd greatly prefer it open directly to the Photo Editor, where I do all my work.Please advise!

I have a very old version of Adobe PSE and have made many slideshows but  I cannot burn them to DVD's.  If I were to upgrade would I be able to burn the slideshows to DVD's?  If not is there another way to accomplish this?

I installed Adobe Photoshop Elements 8 onto my new laptop.  The font size of the top selections and all the tools and choices is very, very small.  It was not like that on my last laptop.  Could I get some suggestions on?how to make the font and clickable choices easier to see and use? -Thanks!

I am using PSE 2020 on a Windows 10 PC. I am trying to place some text on a photo using the Brilon font from the Heritage Type Co. The PSE Editor will ONLY place the uppercase characters even though I do not have caps lock enabled on my keyboard. This font works fine in MS Word. I don't have this problem with other fonts that I've tried, but I like this font. I've attached a few screen clips to show the problem. This is a sample of the font typed into MS Word.         This is a sample of what I get in the PSE Editor.            It should look like this. (typed in MS Word)    Also, this Brilon font works fine in Photoshop.       Have I got something set wrong on my PSE to cause this? 

Hi, my Windows crashed and i had to re-install everything on a new hard drive in order to keep all my data intact from my previous Hdd. So all my data are safe but i would like to know how to import them on my new hard drive. I used the person or people feature and tag about 200 persons, everytime i closed the application it would ask me to save and i did. But where is that file? I can't fin any folder named catalog in my adobe folders. Can anybody help? Thanks.Win 10, Adobe organizer 2021

 I have a main picture and wish to place a figure on to the main picture.I am using Elements.I find when I ammend the figure image and remove the background in Elements the background is transparent.When I save the figure and view it, the transparent area is filled with white.How can I get a figure with a transparent back ground pasted on to the main picture? Thanks for any helpRegards John 

So I need help with both. .. when I am done editing a raw image, looks like I only save it to a file on computer as opposed to elements. . .??  I'd like to save to elements so then I can convert to jpeg from there.    Is there an easier way? 

I recently purchsed Elements 2021 and have not yet loaded it to my computer.  Will this new version support files I created in Elements 2011?  I design book covers.  If one of the authors wants to update his /her book cover, will I be able to use Elements 2021 to open the file and update it for a new cover?  Thank you.

How do I set a global prefermance for saving a JPED to maximum.  A little more detail when a JPEG is edited. File save as, the dialog box comes up with various options but it is always a 3 not a 12.  Where is the setting to change to a 12 rather than a 3?  

Premiere Elements 2020 Video Editor Locks up When creating a slideshow using the video editor, the program constantly locks up when adding transitions to the slideshow. I have tried removing the program and re installing the program, but after a while the problem returns. Any Ideas.

HiI've upgraded my Mac to a new version with the M1 processor. I've backed up the catalog from my previous Mac to import as the new catalog. My question is - the backup has created copies of jpg and raw files which I hadn't anticipated however I want the catalog to link to the original location of the files. Have I done something wrong in the steps to create the backup? And/or can I delete these unwanted files when I create the new catalog from the backup on my new Mac? 

if i move all my xmp adobe files to a new folder within the same drive, will it affect the adobe elements program?

I am running Windows 10 Home 21H1 build 19043-1055 Recently I had to reinstall windows 10 which means I had to reinstall Photoshop Elements 2021. I went to my Adobe account to do this. I only downloaded PSE and Premiere Elements. I did not download Creative Cloud, I have never used Creative Cloud. I keep getting notices about a Creative Cloud update and I just close them. I have tried to uninstall Creative Cloud but it will not let me. When I try to unistall it I get the following window... How do I get rid of a piece of software I never installed in the first place? I know others have to be having this issue. Even if I installed it by mistake I do not waht it, so how do I get rid of it? Any and all help is appreciated. 

I downloaded photos with Nikon NX-1 software without doing anything. Photos came up automatically in PSE, which is where I wanted to edit them. They are in JPEG and they were never in RAW.  Now when I want to upload pictures to an outside printing service,  the files are grayed out on my computer and I can't upload them. I can see and view the photos on the NX-1 window. The edited photos are in a folder that Nikon system created ad named. I view photos too on PSE Organizer. What do I have to do to be able upload these photos foe printing? 

2021 Organizer, my organizer workspace will not open upon start, I keep getting "not responding" beyong frudtrated I use this to do quick edits on shoots. I have all Auto Creations items turned off. I can get to the catalog manager I have tried repair, optimizer even built a new catalog still no luck on opening my photo thumb nails.Help please
