Attempting to reinstall Photoshop/Premiere Elements 2020.  Photoshop Elements installs without error.  Premiere Elements does not.  Windows 10 ver. 20H2, Nvidia drivers up-to-date.  Install.log attached.How to I manually uninstall Premiere Elements 2020 (as the error message indicates)?

I'm currently using Premiere Elements 12 and until now it has satisfied my requirements. I have been sent an MP4 file and when I open a new project it only plays the music without playing the video.  When I try and play the MP4 file outside of Premiere Elements I received a popup message saying it needs an HEVC (High Efficiency Video Coding) extension.It there a file that can be installed on Premiere Elements 12 which will enable me to work with this MP4, or does this now mean I must upgrade to the latest version of Premiere Elements.This also make me ask a secondard question.           Will the latest version already have this codec in the package? Please forgive my lack of knowledge on this subject. I hope someone can help to steer me in the right direction. Many thanksDave

I have Premiere Elements 18 and up until today I have been able to make cuts in the video timeline anywhere I want. Today the timeline marker is jumping from frame to frame instead of letting me cut anywhere. Snaps are off. Why is this happening? I have already spoken with customer support and reset the preferences. That didn't fix the problem.   Moved from Using the Community (which is about the forums) to a better forum... 1. Is it possible to make an Audio volume adjustment for all clips in a track with one tool and or one command?I can only find adjustments for each single clip.2. is there a tool or a plug in that can handle  2 screens more professional in Windows 10?Thank yu for any support

All of a sudden I get an error message (PE11) that an incompatible display driver has been detected ... update your display driver.  Have been unable to do so.  Program is up to date

I am using PE21 on a new Computer (Win 10, 64Bit). I cannot export my short Video on DVD nor create an ISO file. Altought PE says its finished successfully the folder on my C drive stays empty. I have also disabled the hardware acceleration and changed the main menu in attempts to export an ISO file but neither of those changes have worked. Is there a solution?

Having purchased Premier Elements 2021 with a licence for two computers, how do I install it on the second computer? Will I need the activation code and if so how do I find it again? Thanks

Whenever I click the Play-button on the video paying controls, the timeline freezes. Then, if I try to close without saving th project, Premiere Elements freeze.Does anyone have a solution?I attach screendump with my system data (in danish, but I think that it should be recognizable)I have 243 GB free space in my C drive.I also attach a small video displaying the process triggering the error.RegardsJan Grenov

I have a very good machine IMOi9-9900K32GB DDR4Intel UHD 630 &Nvidia Quadro P4000 with 8GB RAM But as soon as I have upgraded to Premiere Elements 2021, I cannot believe how bad the performacne is.  First of all it do not support Nvidia Quadro P4000 for GPU accelerated tasks. So it is depended on Intel UHD 630. Premiere 2020 performed better without any acceleration.I tried both enabling/disabling these options but no luck -It also seems like the video rendering time has increased a lot. Timeline playback has huge lag. I have added Premiere Elements exe to use Nvidia 3D but no luck. I have another laptop, i7 with 16GB RAM and only Intel Graphics. That machine is really struggling to run Premiere Elements 2021. This is really bad news. When rival applications like Filmora, Power Director are improving performance, this one is stepping backword I assume. Is there any suggestion I can improve this or should I go back to 2020? I am willing to bet

I am running a Dell Latitude E5570 (laptop), with an i7 6600 U processor at 2.60-2.80 GHz, with 8 GB RAM. Graphics are AMD Radeon R7 M360 and Intel HD Graphics 520. The laptop is 4 ½ years old. It runs Windows 10 Pro, version 20H2, 64 bit. The hard drive is a SATA 256 GB with 26 GB free. I do much of my editing on an SDD 2 TB external hard drive.With some new links from Adobe I’m loaded HEVC video extensions. I’m editing drone video from a DJI MA2. I’ve not had too many problems exporting edited 4K video until I shot in slow motion, even in UHD. The video was taken in the late afternoon and was a bit too dark so I used the various tools Premier Elements v 18.0 makes available to lighten it. It came out fine in Elements, but when I try to export it, even at low resolution (SD 720), the picture is all black. I know my system's RAM is low and that its graphics capabilities are not geared for 4K video. But would 16 GB RAM fix this (I can add to RAM), or are the graphics a lost cause (I can

I burnt the last ISO file in feb. 2020, the video was about the same size. But when iI now try to burn an ISO file (to share the video with our journey companion to Ethiopia) it's not working. It says, the ISO file has been burnt, but it has no contents. I have also been burning a dvd file but I don't see any possibility to burn this to a dvd. Has anyone has an idea to solve the problem.

Hello everyone!What you see in the screenshot is how Premiere Elements 2021 displays on a 2560x1440px monitor. Rather looks like on a 800x600 device. I use it for the first time but that cant be as it is supposed to be. I dont find anything in the preferences to scale it back. Anyone can help me?Take a look at the screenshot attached.I have a test version of Photoshop Elements 2021 installed and it looks perfectly (what I would say) normal with way smaller icons and font sizes.PLEASE HELP!Thanks,Marco

Hi -I've started using the Draw function, mostly for Opacity. I like the ability to re-position a draw point. But I am finding a bezier curve on some of my draw points. I want to re-position, but instead when I click-drag, it changes the bezier curve. How do I revert back to just moving the draw point? I am assuming there is an alt or ctrl or shift command with click-drag?Thank you, Todd

The project assets window has stopped opening for any new project. (It still works fine when I open an earlier project)I havent changed PC or software (Windows 10, Premiere Elements 2020)Restoring workspace makes no difference.. Same with rebooting the PC The Project Assets drop down arrow next to the Add Media button (which does work) is stull visible, and highlights when the mouse passes over it, but doesnt reposnd to a click.It also wont open from the menu Window>Project AssetsAny ideas? 

On the Adobe website I read the system requirements for each of these programs: Premiere Elements and Photoshop Elements.There appeared to be no greater system requirement for Premier Elements than for Photoshop Elements.Did I read that correctly? Is that your experience, for those who have used both?So if Photoshop Elements 2021 works well for me with my system, then should I expect Premier Elements to work as well?Are system demands of Premier Elements any greater than system demands of Photoshop Elements?I was sent to this forum by the Photoshop Elements Forum admin for this question. I currently have an HP Envy 700-406 computer with 12 GB RAM.  That seems to be doing fine in Photoshop Elements 2021 for the type of minimal editing I do. I am toying with the idea of adding another 4 to 8 GB of RAM and installing a 1 TB SSD.

I had a Windows 10  64 bit update on my laptop that disabled my former version of Premier Elements 15 that came with with Photoshop. I tried to reinstall it from DVD. I was able to install Photoshop but got the following error prompts in Premier Elements 15.Organizer Database is corrupt.Trying to recover it.Failed to recover.Creating new Organizer Database.The catalog could not be opened.It is either corrupt, or theversion is out of date andcannot be updated. Previous video projects opened and played, but I could not add new media. When I tried to move it from project assets to the time line, the program shuts down. I then downloaded and installed Premier Elements 15 again, and still got the same error prompt - so this new downloading rather than installing off the DVD didn't solve this problem. What do I do next to get past this problem? Thanks in advance for your help! And I've read all the related posts listed below but they do not address this specific

Hello,Premiere Elements is running extremely slow on my 2019 iMac, even without any media loaded into the project. Specs of my iMac are:3,7 GHz 6‑Core Intel Core i5 16 GB RAMRadeon Pro 580X 8 GB I would expect it to not be able to work properly with 4K material, but running slow right from the start seems pretty odd to me. When playing back short HD clips (around 3 mins) while browsing through effects CPU usage jumps over 100%, not to mention export when it hits over 500%. Installed the program twice with no luck. Adobe suggests trying to locate and change the content of the folder "~/Library/Logs/Creative Cloud/Creative Cloud Libraries", but it doesn't exist, so I'm not able to change anything. Any suggestions are highly appreciated. Thank you in advance.  

So I tried using this tutorial - https://filmora.wondershare.com/video-editing-tips/premiere-elements-how-to-combine-videos.html .....but that doesn't apparently tell me what I'm wanting to do.... I have one video playing from the start, and then about 7 seconds in or so, I would like to have a 2nd video 'slide' into the left half of the screen and half both videos playing for the remainder of the video, each occupying 50% of the screen. Can someone give direct me to a tutorial on how to do that? Thanks!

 I purchased the Adobe Photoshop Elements and Premier 2021 and a new laptop. I’ve been working with Version 11 on my old laptop. I followed the directions to back up my catalog to an external hard drive and restore to the new laptop. In trying to import the backed up catalog to the new computer it changes the file name. How to I keep my previous format? Additionally, I tried to restore the catalog to the new computer but there is not enough memory to store the pictures. Is there a way to keep the picture on the external hard drive and the catalog on the computer?

I'm Running Premeiere Elements 2020 on a Dell PC, Intel (R) UHD Graphics 620The preview screen displays horizontal green lines over the video - even with a simple still text image it does the sameI've updated the video driver to the latest version from Dell but now I'm stuck to know how I can continue using the application Ideas welcome!UPDATE: I have a workaround sorted for this by using an old Dell driver. Hoping they update the new one in a way that works.
