Questions

I've created a project with over 300 jpg files. Currently have 2 .Mov files imbedded in project in the appropriate places.  Attempted to add another .Mov file but Elements adds it next to the audio files instead of inserting the .mov in the location selected.  Can't figure out why this .mov file is being treated like an mp3 file. Appreciate input/ideas to resolve. 

It was working perfectly until a few days ago, when it suddenly started crashing (without opening the actual app first) whenever it got to 'loading importerquicktime.prm' in the startup screen. I deleted and reinstalled it about ten times in various different ways, and now it opens alright (onto the eLive page), but if I click into the quick, guided, or expert tabs to try and start or continue an edit, it just crashes. I'm fairly sure this is still related to the quicktime issue in some way, although I'm obviously not 100% sure about that. There's no error code at any point, it just closes the app completely.

I can't scrub video in the timeline with thumbnails. The audio is fine, but I only have the choice of video being on or off. I still get the thumbnail of the beginning first frame and end thumbnail frame, but when I choose the video button at the beginning of the track, its either on or off. I used to be able to change the display style with 3 choices, but no longer, making it hard to see where to edit.Anyone else have this issue??

I have a new Dell XPS 17, Windows 10, with Nvidia GeForce RTX 2060, Studio Driver Version: 456.38 - Release Date: Thu Sep 17, 2020. In Films & TV APP all kinds of files (1080p, 4K) are running smoothly.Unfortunately, in Premiere Elements 2021 playback screen I get green horizontal lines and the video is running behind them. Please look at the attached screenshot.Any advice which can help to get rid of this bug will be appreciated.

I'm doing virtual videos for my church choir.  I've done several already, but for some reason, this particular project will not complete the export process.  I'm using 1280x720, the file size is 210.54 MB, the product is 4 minutes and 40 seconds, and I'm trying to export the final product as an MP4.  Is there a setting I should use to further render the product before export? 

I just started working on a movie I haven't opened for a week or two. All of the .mov videos are missing from project assets. The cursor stops at the first video during play - but you can hear the sound associated with the video. The app asks where the videos are, I navigate to the file and click on it; it asks for the same .mov file again. I tried to delete the movie files and try again. There are errors on every single file. These are the same exact files, with no editing, since the last time I worked on this movie. The videos play just fine outside of the app.  I opened a new movie and tried to import the files in question. I got errors on every .mov file.  I did upgrade to Big Sur since the last time I worked on the video. That is literally the only thing that has changed.  Help!

I am using Premiere Elements 2019 and Just realized there is no Menu Marker option.  All I have are options for Timeline and Beat Markers.  Apparently this version is not supported anymore, so does anyone have any ideas?

hi does anyone know of any plugins for transitions / titlesi have found some third party for the pro version but no joy with elements or will the plugin also work on elements any advise i'll be greatful

After reading this https://helpx.adobe.com/premiere-elements/kb/gpu-accelerated-rendering---hardware-encoding.html#DifferencebetweenHardwareacceleratedDecodingMercuryPlaybackEngineGPUAccelerationandHardwareacceleratedEncoding and this https://helpx.adobe.com/premiere-elements/using/gpu-acceleration.html it looks like: 1) premiere elements 2021 mostly relies on CPU as dedicated GPU processes a few effects only, so buying better CPU is more important than better NVIDIA GPU 2) in addition to dedicated Nvidia GPU - CPU itself must have its own GPU so that encoding/decoding could be done on its GPU E.g.:1) i5-10400 + Nvidia GeForce GTX 1650 will have much better performance than i3-10100 with GeForce RTX 2060 SUPER 2) i5-10400f (without built in GPU) will be much worse than i5-10400 with GPU inside Is that true?Did anyone tried or had experience on the subject?

I have a slideshow template I'm trying to create and I want to apply Auto Pan and Zoom to a group of individual photos, each getting their own Pan & Zoom effect.Is there a hotkey or a way for me to simply have every photo do the Auto P&Z process or do I absolutely have to click each indivudual photo and hit Auto Pand and Zoom?

Hi, I've upgraded to 2021 to be able to use the GPU accelleration. I'm on Win10 and have a Geforce 1060 6GB so it should work. The card is recognized in the preferences window and checked. But rendering is still slow, and in Task Manager I can see no GPU activity during rendering: usage is 0 to 1%, in all tiles (3D; Copy; Video Encode; Video Decode). I guess Adobe does not offer any support for this product, so I hope anyone in this forum will help! Thanks, Thijs  

The system requirements for v2021 says 6th generation or newer Intel CPU   Has anyone tried using PrE2021 with an Intel i7-4930k and does it really not work?

Can the .cfa cache files in AppData\Local\Adobe\Lightroom\Caches\Video\Media Cache Files be deleted?   They appear to be used by Premiere Elements.  They are taking up over 24GB on my C drive and I need the space.

I have made videos in Premire 2019 previously, but today I'm creating a simple lyric video using premire 2019.  I have the song set up in Audio.  Several still photos set up in Video 1and finally, text set up in video 2. (I am not using any videos.) I have chosen for both the text and the still photos to fade in and out.  I did this by selecting each one and right clicking and chooing fade in and out. For each song, the photos and texts progress nicely, fading in and out, but at some point, usually after about 6 or seven text screens, the following odd things happen:-  the photo and/or the text  fades in and out quickly ( and I watch the opacity bar going back and forth a couple of times)-  the photos drop out of sight and I only see the words-  if the text bar is long, it waits till the very end to blink in the text and exit- same thing with the photos. I have searched this sight but cannot find something like this.

Hi, as per title, I would like to export part of the timeline (exporting once the full timeline and a second export of only a portion).I tried to drag the start/end duration but the export still contains the full movie (screen attached) I would prefer not to cut the shorter export video as I still want to export the full video..thanks

Hello, I'm a bit of a novice working with video files.  I just purchased PE 2020 and I'm looking for a way to import video from Sony Digital 8 tapes into PE 2020 for editing and storage on my Windows 10 PC.  I still have the camera to play the tapes, but I have no firewire port in my PC, nor an open expansion slot to install a firewire card.  I tried using the camera's USB cable, but the Sony USB drivers apparently won't install on Windows 10.  I was hoping someone might be able to relay another method of doing this.  Thanks in advance. 

Can I use Premiere Elements 2018 with the new Photoshop Elements 2021? I want to be able to use the organizer in PE21 with Premiere 18 or do I need to upgrade? 

Goodmorning everyone I ask for help with a problem with Premiere Elements 2020. In the middle of last September I bought an HP laptop. Since I already expected to have to buy the aforementioned Adobe software, the seller had informed me that the characteristics of the new PC made it compatible with any version of Premiere Elements up to 2020 inclusive, therefore excluding 2021. Last week I bought an official copy of Premiere 2020 on the Amazon site as I only found the 2021 version on the Adobe site. I regularly installed the software and at the first opening of the program, before I could even try it, Adobe offered me to install the new version 18.0 (20200130.daily.2070236). Which I immediately did. At the end of the installation of the new version I finally tried Premiere by copying on the storyboard some clips that I have in memory on the PC. The result was a series of gray and green horizontal lines that completely cover the entire screen excluding the storyboard part and very loud

Can play a file in a folder or on my desktop. After it is imported into timeline, i can not hear audio anymore. The audio meters show there is audio on the timeline. After timeline is exportrd, the file has the audio when played. Iv'e re-installed elements. My other video editors can hear audio on timeline..Audio won't play in project assests. Any suggestions?

I added a text title over a video clip. I want it to stay on screen for 15 seconds. I have tried editing the duration. I expanded the length of the text box in the slider bar. I tried to use the Time Stretch option. It allowed to extend the duration setting, but it did not change the duration. What am I missing?
