Hello, I have just bought a GoPro Hero 11 and returned from a diving trip to the Red Sea. When I import the video clips they bitmap and just appear as a weird set of lines in the timeline (see attached clip). I was filming at 4k 50fps.  Any thoughts on what has happend and what is the solution? The footage from my GoPro7 is fine. Filemd at 2.7k 24fps. I live in UK Thanks David

How do I close dynamiclinkmanager while trying to re-download Adobe Premier Elements 10?

I have read that there are new slideshow styles. But I cannot find them. The video informs you to go to create, but I do not see the button slideshow, only video article and video collage. I have got the Dutch version en I upgraded it about 2 weeks ago. Can someone help me with the new feature? Kind regards,Angélique

Greetings all.I finally fell into the upgrade from Elements 15 this morning but can't seem to get Adobe to recognize that I made the purchase; purchase/order number as well as serial number available whenever a blank appeared for it.  I wind up with an opening page that is nothing like 15....however, when I've installed the OS files after the download, once it's all done...bringing up the start page to click on the Photo Editor link.....it's ready to either allow me to download from a DVD or download the trial copy.I've made the effort twice.....unloaded all my 15 program files and installed; uninstalled all of the 2023 files and downloaded and installed again but when I go into my adobe account following the directives by the Install page....I have one access to a DownLoad button that basically pulls up the same application to download a redundant copy.I'm not getting anywhere very fast and would be grateful for any thoughts on the topic.Best regards to allDan Turner

 Ever since my recent upgrade from 2022 to 2023 adobe premiere elements, I cannot open 50+ .prel files from previous versions of Adobe Premiere Elements. This is maddening since I can no longer go revisit older .prel files to re-edit and re-release the videos.  Nor can I access any of the "templates" I made to speed up my vlog editing. Anyone have any suggestions on how to fix this issue, or how to access my previously-created .prel files? The files begin to open and then I get the error message I attached here.  The Elements open a new file as if I was opening the app for the first time. 😞Thanks!

After switching to a new laptop and downloading PE 2022 I did not have any audio when trying to edit a video.  The reason for me was that I had the microphone turned off for all apps and it would not recognize even the speakers.  So going to edit, preferences, audio hardware trying to select output to another device and then switching back to speakers didn't work.  When I turned the mic back on for the apps and selected PE mic to on, audio works fine.

Using Premiere Elements 14. Editing a 4.0GB .mp4 (1920x1080, 25fps) movie to remove commercials. After edits and movie is exported, the file size has ballooned out to 10GB even though overlength of the movie has decreased.Suggestions please.  

I am trying to create a slide show containing both video clips and still images (JPEG's).  I am using the project assests method to attempt this.  It will not allow me to edit the clip by slicing out unwanted segments.  Any suggestions on best way to construct slide show with both video clips and still image?Thanks

I have adobe photoshop elements 2021 and adobe premiere elements 2021 installed.Because the "elements auto creations" running in background has always high cpu usage I uncheckted "generate auto-creations" in media-analysis prefereces after opening organiser but it did not lower the cpu usage of the background program even after restarting the PC.What must I do more?(I have unchecked all the boxes of media-options)

GoPro is now 5k and has various aspect ratio's that I cannot find in Premiere Elements 2023. Anybody?An idea for the next release of Premiere Elements to align with GoPro's aspeact ratio's?

I'm a beginner in Pr. Elements but not brand new and I'm trying to export my video to mp4.  I have done this many times but now I'm getting this error messaged (attached). Can anyone help me?   

when I add media ( pictures or video) it puts them in backwards order.  How can I get this program to put them in the order that I have them marked.  I have all pictures & video renamed with numbers and I never had the problem with older visions of Premiere Elements

Hi, So I was editing a video with multiple clips, as I frequently do, but recently I have started recording content using the AMD HEVC hardware encoder and have encountered serious issues trying to imput them into premiere elements. When I first attempted to do so, it provided me with an error box, and a link for more info.It directed me to this page - https://helpx.adobe.com/uk/premiere-elements/using/hevc-decoding-on-windows.htmlHowever, the download here inconsistent. At first I could not download it as it stated it would not work on my PC, but now it says it will work and that I have, in fact, already downloaded it. It appears nowhere on my app list. I also spent the £0.79 on the official HEVC codec from the microsoft store, and that does appear in the app list. It now allows me place HEVC files in Premiere Elements timeline. However doing so is terrible idea. It does not load, crashes the software to the point task manager is needed to close it & I need to clear the

How can I edit individual frames of a video?   Removing an artifact from a deteriorating film that was digitized. 

 

I dont know what I am doing wrong, when I change one of the overlay text, the other also changes and vice versa, both the overlay texts are highlighted in this orange box... can someone advise please...  

In the artistic effects, the Provence effect is always disabled.  Only that one.  When I drag it to a clip I get a red cicle with a diagonal line (not allowed icon)..  Anyone know why that one doesn't work?

My last two projects have disappeared completely after the export and save process completes. They cannot be found within the designated folder or anywhere when performing a manual search. Last time this happened a restart resolved the issue, but now it happened again. I really don't want to render my videos twice because it already takes long enough. Any ideas? 

Pixel 6 Pro video files are a type of .mp4. I'm using Premiere Elements 15 and it won't import them. Can I find/purchase a codec that will enable me to do this?

I really like this software but the more I hear of Adobe not supporting or including capabilities in Premiere Elements going forward, like they once did, should I be looking for another editing software that I won’t have to subscribe to?  Any suggestions?

I was working on my Premiere Elements 2022 on 6-2-2023, that's today. It was working fine, until tonight. First I noticed that for some reason, when I tried to put text in the video, the palette where the text goes came up horizontal, as it should, but once I put the text on, it turned vertical. I tested my Premiere Elements 2023 (trial version), to see if the same thing happened, but it came up horizontal as it should. Then, I finished my editing, saved it, and tried opening Premiere Elements 2022 again, but it won't launch anymore. I tried restarting the computer, TWICE, but it didn't work. Can anybody tell me why this is happening and how I can fix it? I'm wondering if I inadverdently somehow changed a setting without realizing it. I don't think so, but I don't know. I am using Windows 10.
