25.2.1 Build 2 on Mac OS Sonoma 14.4.1 When trying to customize my setup via Premiere Pro / Settings the "Cancel / OK" buttons do not react to either mouse click or pressing return on the keyboard. That means that none of the settings customizations will apply. Example: Label colors. When trying to change from "default" (sorry, who designed this set? they are pretty much indistinguishable) to "classic" the change will not be applied. This is true for ALL other settings. On top of that the only way to get rid of that floating  "Settings" window is to randomly click into differenct points on the UI until at some point "settings" will disappear.

The media in windows explorer sorts all files by date and time. Why is adobe Premiere unable to do this function?No matter accending or decending, files times and date are mixed in complete random order. even between media types. I only film from a Gopro 12 and Samsung GS23+.

Hi everyone to introduce myself and the setup: Dario from Munich, I am on MacOS Sierra 10.12 and Premiere Pro CC 2017.1.1 my issue: renaming clips in Premiere according to the renamed source files. so far:- I have found a way to do it in FCP, which does not help me in Premiere.- But it is good to know that what I am looking for is technically possible. The how-to for FCP is that simple: Select one or more clips in the FCP Browser.Choose Modify > Rename > Clip to Match File. Each selected clip is renamed to match its corresponding media file.- However in Premiere I only found a way to rename media vice-versa - so renaming source files according to the clip names.Project > Project ManagerCheckbox: Rename Media Files to match clip names...- Also I found one single discussion where someone mentioned a somewhat complex way using Bridge and CSV charts - pretty manual and somewhat "dangerous"So unfortunately I am still struggling a little to keep a huge project structured. Are my presets and templates automatically saved in the cloud? If not, is there a way to do so?

My problem is that when I sync the audio  How I Sync:First I synchronize with right click >  the SyncronizeThen with Audio time units on, I zoom into the sound wave and do the sync manually for a better match. see Pic After that,  when I have unlinked, then disable the bad sound, then link them all together again....I begin to edit and move clips around.the problem is that the sync moves.Why is this happening?...is barely visible but I'm assuming that this should not happen,Also, when I enable the sound ( I use clap to sync) I hear  two claps, which makes it obvious out of sync.then when I try to undo, it never syncs correctly again. (See pic)This always happens when everything is sync correctly and after moving everything. I also Tried clipping the tips off so that the better audio matches the video lengths, but it still moves out of sync. Just like the pic I show here... 

Premiere 25.2.1 Build 2 - when performing a clip replacement the replaced clip takes on the label color of the clip it replaced rather than keeping its own assigned label color. This used to be different and now makes it harder to keep track of whether clips have been replaced or not.

In each track header there are several icon; one of which is an eye.But these icons are nebulous; sometimes I see them, sometimes I don't.  Is there a way to reset all Tracks so these icon are centered horizontally, so they are aways visible?

Hi, after I upgraded to 25.1, I noticed the slider for font size is now larger and does not have a numerical value associated with it. Am I missing something and is there a way to choose a specific numerical value? I need this feature for a lot of my projects.

When I first opened the app on desktop it asked me if I wanted to do a tutorial I clicked "try it now" and the main interface (?) opens, prompts me to upload media then nothing else happens. When I click on "help" ans "premier pro in app tutorials" the list on the left is blank. Unable to use this. I am new and know ZERO about all of this and am overwhelmed that the tutorial isn't even working. I have severe ADHD and it makes learning new things very difficult.

Hi, everyone.As you guys see, to drag and drop the specific clip on Video 4 and Audio 3, I clicked those buttons.but it doesn't really work and it just goes to the video, audio 1 dubbing the files which had existed... How can you deal with this.Save me !!!

adobe premiere 25.2.1 pro multicam editing with m2 macbook 32g ram 15.4 (24E248) . I was working in 2024 with 6 differents 4k cameras with no issues at all  and now 2025 not even with less cameras is lagging to the point I can not keep going. I set differents configurations even with proxy and NOTHING. Please Help.

Hello, I heard that Premiere Pro supports 10bit 4:2:2 video encoding acceleration of RTX 5090. However, I don't see any encoding performance difference between RTX 5090 and RTX 3090 with my 14mins Canon R5 8K Raw video footage. It takes almost 3hours to encode with RTX 5090 as well. I would like to know about this issue. 

This is my first time using captions since the move away from Essential Graphics and this is so frustrating. Completely unacceptable from a "Pro" program. Apparently not an isolated issue, I've found others complain online. Does Adobe just not listen to people? Time and time again I see complaints of persistent problems with their products, going back years, without the problems being addressed and fixed. Quality of Life improvements go a long way for retention. Some video games will fix their problems within weeks and makes most people happy enough to keep using their product.  The IssueSo basically, I have every caption highlighted to edit them all at once. Everytime I try to make a change (move a slider) it doesn't actively move, there is a delay of several seconds while it makes the changes. It is not my hardware, and all my software is up to date. This is only a 16 minute clip. I assume what it's doing is populating and rendering the changes accross the whole clip at the

I am currently exploring Virtual Desktop Infrastructures, for remote editing on Adobe Premiere when I need more GPU power to try out new creative effects. Chasing the newest computer specs isnt always in my budget and I would like a way to access that power on the go so I can continue to excercise my creative skills. I really like the AWS ecosystem. The thing is there isnt much available to teach you how to get started unless you are an enterprise customer looking for HP ANYWARE. I saw that the minimum cost is 5 licenses. Anyone experienced in this realm that can point me in a positive direction? 

I have been working on a massive editing project that has just reverted to my template file (a project I start with that just has all my base template layers/files/effects etc) which is really infuriating.  The only thing I can think that must have happened must be that I opened my template file whilst working on the other project and perhaps I clicked save whilst in the template section, which saved my current file as the template one? Would that not just save the original template file and leave the current file unsaved? I would expect that doing this would not save all my progress, but I don't expect my current file to completely revert to its original state. This is the only thing I can think as it's such a strange way for a file to corrupt, it's literally deleted everything apart from the template files I usually start with.  I assumed auto save was saving things but I'd reached my 200 files limit.

I have an MP4 clip on my timeline that PRP shows an audio waveform for.  When I play that clip in the timeline no audio is played.  However, if I right click on the clip, select Audio Channels, select "Left" in the Preview Media Source Channel, and click on the play arrow, the audio for that channel plays properly.  The right channel was never intended to have sound so no surprise it doesn't play.  I've used MP4 clips from this camera with no issues for the last 6 years, with this being the first clip this has ever happened to me on in PRPro.  I've tried using Media Encoder and converting the file to Prores 422 .mxf, and that file also has the same problem.  I opened the file in Audition and the same problem existed, but when I did an Edit/Extract files to mono the new mono audio tracks play fine.  However, when I right clicked on the file in the Files panel in Audition and selected Extract Audio to New File, the extracted stereo file has a waveform,

My macbook pro M4 with Sequoia 15.3.2 (24D81) keeps getting stuck on rotating wheel when I'm connected to the local server and using Adobe apps. It works perfectly when I'm not connected, and mac works perfectly when I'm connected to the server without turning on adobe apps (this happens in After Effects also). I tried reinstalling apps and it fixed the issue for two weeks but the problem is back, it is impossible to work since I have to manually turn off macbook and turn it on again, because it is not responding to anything. There is no special thing that I do it just randomly happens, sometimes after few minutes sometimes after few hours, but after the first time it freezes more and more often. Please help! I'm using Premiere Pro Version 25.2.1. Build 2

I am editing audio files on my timeline for voiceovers without any video. How do I close the gaps between audio files without manually shifting each one to snap? I only see tutorials for video gaps. Thanks

Hello,    I have a sequence with 1 audio track that contains audio with Left and right sound. Although, when i try to export it as MXF format, the sound turns out mono no matter what i do and the level is much higher (as if the waves have combined). I would really appreciate any suggestions on what i'm doing wrong.I have added some pictures for better understanding. Sequence audio settingsExport audio settings    

OK...I'm using a Video Transition/Dissolve transition to fade a cut into the next. I'm using cross-dessolve and what I WANT to see is in graphic #1 below...I have several placed successfuly.#1:However, starting today, when I apply the same thing (I think), I'm getting:#2I want ONLY the down-slope. What am I doing wrong and how do I get it to what appears in Graphic #1. Ami I using the wrong effect?Thanks

Specs:Latest version of Premiere, Version 25.2.1Footage is all MPEG-4, AVCWindows 10 Proi7-5820K, 3.30GHZ32GB RAMNVIDIA GEFORCE GTX 1650 SUPER I'm frustrated with a strange issue that's been going on for a while now. I'm pretty sure it's because of a new kind of audio I'm getting from one of my clients, float 32-bit (I cut weddings). It makes no sense because I work with 4K footage and that is fine, but the audio is making Premiere lag. Not right away when I first start a project, but the more edits I make in the track, the slower it gets, lagging 3-5 seconds whenever I click to make an edit. I turn off the audio tracks so that, as I go through the sequence, it doesn't make edits when I switch cameras, which is a doable workaround, but still irritating. Anyone know how to solve this issue?
