Hi All I just got Premiere Pro 2020 but when I launch it it says that intel hd 520 graphics are not supported. I updated that my drivers too but it still shows this error. I have another graphic card NVIDIA GeForce 940 MX.. which i think is compatible for Premiere pro. &n
I have a longer video with a transcript that auto generated just fine. When I go to create captions from this transcript, no matter what duration I set for the (attached and highlighted) Minimum Duration parameter, it seems to ignore it and will create caption pieces that are <1 second long, which is almost useless. Am I misundertanding what this parameter does or how to create captions that better handle this?
i have such problems with PPro's unpredictable and inexact keyframing that i animate almost everything in Adobe Animate and export it as sequential PNGs so that i can have more control. It shouldn't have to be this way. This is my current frustrating issue, which is bothering me enough that i'm submitting a bug report about it. i have an imported png image on Video layer 1 (V1) on my sequence. It is scaled to 76%. Its top edge is lined up with the top of the view in the Program monitor. The rest of the image trails off past the bottom of the sequence view. i select the png on the Sequence panel. i set a Position keyframe for it by clicking the clock icon next to the Position attribute in the Effect Controls panel. i advance 5 frames by pressing the right arrow key on my keyboard. i set a second Position keyframe by clicking the little circular Add/Remove Keyframe button in the Effect Controls panel. i click and drag the png up a few hundred pixels in the Program monitor,
This thread is a spin-off from an early exploration into more thoroughly integrating the Behringer X-Touch Universal Control Surface with Premiere Pro, After Effects, Lightroom, etc.. That thread is here, and while it resolves, it is still a bunch of mumbo-jumbo. Finally getting this control surface to control stuff! I miss my DVE's. Some of you are old enough to remember the ADO, Kaleidoscope, A53d and A57, and who can forget the Mirage? Back in the days when editors would cause holes in parquet floors from wheeling their chairs across the console, flailing wildly at multibank switchers and joysticks like the Wizard of Oz behind the curtain. I have always longed for a return to that tactile, hardware based control. I have been sitting on a control surface and it's lame integration into Premiere Pro for nigh a decade, now. Let's face it: Adobe's tools for connecting with external controllers is pretty horrible, and we've been stuck with a user interface that is very heav
Adobe Premiere version 2025 gives me errors all the time. The program has never crashed so much as it does now. I'm losing files all the time. As soon as I start adding sound and video effects, the program becomes stupid. Version 2024 was much more stable and didn't give me so many problems. Could you please review this version and fix the many problems it gives me? I'm too lazy to switch to Davinci. If not, I will install version 2024 again. Thank you very much.
Hello,When I export video to Premiere Pro and Media Encoder, the software doesn't allow me to hardware encode in VBR 1-2 pass or CBR: either it's grayed out, or I get a message saying that the settings don't match. However, the software installation is recent, and the CUDA hardware acceleration boxes are ticked for both decoding and encoding.Software : Premiere Pro & Media Encoder 25.1OS : Windows 11 ProProcessor: 13th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-13700KF 3.40 GHzInstalled RAM: 64.0 GB (63.8 GB usable)System type: 64-bit operating system, x64 processorGraphic Card: MSI GeForce RTX 3070 TI Gaming X Trio 8GCan you help?
Hey everyone, I’m running into an issue where Premiere Pro is misinterpreting a file with Rec. 709 metadata as sRGB. The file itself (received from the colorist) has the correct Rec. 709 color primaries and color space metadata (checked in VLC, Davinci Resolve), but when I import it into Premiere, it defaults to sRGB.Has anyone else encountered this? Any idea why Premiere might be doing this. Manually setting the color space in the Interpret Footage dialog fixes it, but I’m wondering if there’s a deeper issue with sequence settings or a potential bug in Premiere, why Resolve and VLC can interpret it properly?I’m using Premiere Pro 25.1. Thanks in advance!
Hello Community,I'm experiencing an issue with importing an EDL into Adobe Premiere Pro, and I could really use some help. The problem is that the EDL treats all the clips in my timeline as a single file, referencing the timeline's timecode rather than the source clip timecodes. I tried nesting all my clips into a single sequence and applying the EDL to the nested sequence, but this doesn't seem to resolve the timecode mismatch. To clarify, the EDL timecodes refer to the timeline position instead of the original source clip timecodes. My goal is to automatically apply the EDL edits to my source footage based on the timeline timecodes. So far, I’ve imported the EDL into Premiere Pro, attempted nesting, and verified that my source clips are properly linked, but none of these steps have worked as expected. Is there maybe a solution with other formats like xml?Is there a workaround or a different approach to apply an EDL that references timeline timecodes rather than source clip timecodes?
Hi, I hope this is helpful to other content creators out there! I was working on the captions for my video, but when I opened the properties of my captions, I could only edit a few things like font name and alignment. I couldn't find where to edit the font size or other settings to modify my captions properly! It took me a day, but I finally found a solution to the problem: In the Caption Track Settings, it was set to 'Australian OP-47.' When I changed it to 'Subtitle,' the missing settings appeared. Such a weird bug... Hope this helps somebody as it is definitely tricky to find!

Hi there,I have a problem with a txt file that I exported from Premiere 2022 and then I translated it. Premiere did the transcript from the video, then Premiere did the captions for me. I then exported it in txt to translate it, but I cannot import it back, and it cannot be recognized as captions. I've tried different online sites to convert it, but all of them give errors. I even tried Youtube. After comparing the txt file with a good srt file, I see a lot of differences. The time is rendered different, the txt doesn't have numbers, and the txt has no arrows. Is there any way to fix this? or to make Premiere recognize this and convert it into captions? I've spent hours translating that txt file, only to realize it doesn't work. It's soo frustrating. Can anyone please help me?
I just downloaded APP. Im very new at this. I uploaded a video of myself to edit to a new project.. The color was the exact same in the SOURCE (top left) box and PROGRAM (top right) box. Then when i uploaded white logos and pics that i made from canva (downloaded to my macbook), I imported them to my project. In the SOURCE box they are white but in the PROGRAM box they are grey. Everything that was white including letters became grey. All other logos like facbook, IG etc, the colors are fine in the SOURCE box but in the PROGRAM box they are dull with way less color. Then when i hit the space bar to play the video with logos overlayed, the logos become a bit bolder, but then when i hit the spacebar to pause the video, they become dull and again. Why are pics / downloaded pics / canva made pics) changing colors to dull and grey when i upload them to my timeline (seen in the PROGRAM box, top right)?!?! Why are all my white logos and pics grey?!
Everytime I'm attempting to backup the Premiere Pro project for transfer I'm receiveing this error that reads:"The following file could not be found during the Project Manager operation: \\?\C:\Users\myusername\Desktop etc etc"I've no idea what's causing this as the file works perfectly in my timeline and I'm desperate to get this project collected so I can share it with my team. What the heck is going on?It's a .wav file if that helps but I have had other problems with linking of files in Premiere and fixed them by putting my media cache on the desktop. Thanks!
Sometimes the clip I've selected, the effects controls suddenly vanishThey only come back if you do something like save, or switch sequences, but only temporarily: I've seen after a quick google that this has been a reoccuring bug over many versions, as far back as 2016 This is a brand new mac and a fresh install of Premiere
Sou Mauro Miranda Ferreira, assinante do pacote de produtos Adobe. I start Premier Pro. I start a project. I import media. Premiere crashes. No warning, no error message. I have never had an issue like this with Premiere Pro before and have not changed any hardware or added any additional software. My system:AMD Threadripper 1950x128gb RAMWindows 10Dual nividia Titan RTX video cards (24gb of DDR6 on each card) I have also had consistent crashing issues with After Effects, although it at least provides me with an error message. This started with the 2025 application releases. None of the other applications do this. I have uninstalled, reinstalled, etc. and the results are the same.
Oh great and powerful Premiere Community. Referencing this post from 2022, to try and get more clarification. Assuming the scenario Mighty Neil describes is still an issue for Macs, generally, then what is the best work around? Simple (and common) scenario: Editing and coloring on a timeline with ProRes444 clips, shot in Log, with all clips being manually overriden to the Rec.709 color space (even though the clips are already Rec.709 by default), and the project settings are set to Rec.709 too. Exports, however, appear overexposed, desaturated, and generally "washed out" in comparison with the perfectly colored piece that appears in my timeline. Yes, viewing the exports on a Mac, both via File Preview, as well as via Quicktime. Bring the export into Premiere and it looks fairly close-matched to the look of the timeline edit (Source Monitor/Program Monitor side x side). Since 2022, I can see at least one change to the Project Settings
Hello! I am working on a Apple M1 Pro, 32GB Ram, OS 14.6.1. Premiere pro 24.5. I am getting an error about retriving frames on some multicam interview clips that have in my timeline and when I export I'm getting mad gliches as well. Media encoder always fails to export these so I have to do each individual episode manuelly in Premiere. I tried digging around for a solution and everyone is saying to toggle Video rendering and playback but that is greyed out for me. Please let me know what my options are to stop getting glitches on my timeline from frame substittion im guessing?
Hi, i recently bught Premiere Pro to create and edit videos, this evening, when i was trying to open a mp4 file it says the the file can't be open because the program can't handle it.Is it a my problem or is possible that Premiere don't support .mp4 format? Thanks in advance.
Hi, while I was working on a project Premiere Pro suddenly quit. Then I tried to reopen the project where I saved off, but it wouldn't load. I updated PR and tried again and it didn't work again. I tried opening the other projects but same result once more. I tried to reset the app preferences, clear the cache etc. nothing worked. Then I launched it with "disable third-party plugins" option and it worked. But right after I closed it, this time the program itself stopped LAUNCHING. And I don't know why. I downgraded PR just to test it again but it never launches. Just gets stuck at the launching screen with the artwork right before it crashes. I'd appreciate any help as the project was very important for me. My specs: 12th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-12650H (16 CPUs), ~2.3GHz 16384MB RAM NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 Ti Laptop GPU
I have a clip in my timeline with 4 tracks of audio. I noticed that there are waveforms for only one channel. I checked the channels and saw that only channel 1 was selected. I fixed the channels so that they are mapped correctly but the the waveforms didn't change. I match framed to the source monitor and noticed that channels 2-4 are offline. I checked the bin and the chanels are offline there as well. This is a proxy so I, detached and reattached the proxy. The clip in the bin now has all channels and they are mapped correctly. However, when I take the clip to the timeline the same issue happens - no waveforms on channels 2-4 and when I match frame, the same chanels are offline. I made a new sequence and dropped the clip in there and everything is fine. I made another new sequence and pasted my cut in there and when I drop this clip in, no waveforms on channels 2-4 and they're offline in the source window. I kno
I used to use Circle and Paint bucket to do a Picture in Picture with a border. Since it was made obsolete I spent two hours trying to figure out how to do it from the internet. I won’t tell you how I managed it in the end, but Adobe help Desk was very patient and finally got it through MY THICK HEAD. This is for people my level. Put the image to be PiP’d on V4 of your timeline The Task is now to put a black circle behind that image. So go to the Ellipse tool in the Timeline panel (the one with the arrowhead select tool at the top - it’s 7 down under the pen tool. Click on it and draw directly onto the big picture panel above (in the Program Panel). This will create an image on your timeline above the PiP image, on V5.While drawing the ellipse, if you hold down the shift key, the ellipse will become circular. I draw it so that it fits behind the image. Now click on the V4 PiP image.Go to the Effects Control panel on the upper left of the interface (if it’s not
I am getting a weird pixelation in premier preview and after rendering. It looks like sand or very pronounced grain. I can not figure out how to get rid of it. Any help would be most appreciated. Thanks!
I'm editing sound in Premier Pro to produce widos on Male choir conserts. Have I use for Adobe Audition as well to get the ultimate sound?
Hi People, Been experiencing major performance issues with MTS format source files in some PPro projects. Converted all the MTS files to MP4 and imported them into the project. I then attempted to update the link in each sequence from the MTS to the MP4 file but found that the edits within sequence changed. Then I thought to relink the MTS source files to the related MP4 file. Same outcome. Is this normal or am I missing a step? TIAAndrew
