For some reason some of the video clips I try to drag into the timeline show up with no audio track. Yet, if I open up the file in QuickTime the audio sounds completely fine.Any help with this? It's extremely frustrating and I cannot seem to find the solution anywhere else on here.THanks,Andrew
I have the following problem: Last week, Premiere kept crashing whenever I switched from proxy previews to the original H.265 files in the gallery. Now, the issue has worsened—Premiere crashes as soon as I import any H.265 files.I've tried everything: I uninstalled all Adobe programs and reinstalled Premiere, reinstalled my GPU drivers, and disabled hardware encoding—nothing works.Windows always reports the following error:Faulty module path:C:\Users\Public\Documents\AdobeInstalledCodecsTier2\4.0\mc_dec_hevc.dllThe strange thing is that I have no issues with these files in DaVinci Resolve—everything runs smoothly there.System specs:Processor: 13th Gen Intel® Core™ i9-13900K @ 3.00 GHzRAM: 64GB (63.8GB usable)GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080
I'm new to Premier Pro and the Pymiere API, but I have it installed and configured. My first script is running successfully, but I'm getting errror messages from the VScode terminal: Exception ignored in: <function PymiereBaseObject.__del__ at 0x000002163F4864D0>Traceback (most recent call last):File "C:\Python\Python310\lib\site-packages\pymiere\core.py", line 178, in __del__File "C:\Python\Python310\lib\site-packages\pymiere\core.py", line 97, in eval_scriptFile "C:\Python\Python310\lib\site-packages\requests\api.py", line 115, in postFile "C:\Python\Python310\lib\site-packages\requests\api.py", line 59, in requestFile "C:\Python\Python310\lib\site-packages\requests\sessions.py", line 589, in requestFile "C:\Python\Python310\lib\site-packages\requests\sessions.py", line 703, in sendFile "C:\Python\Python310\lib\site-packages\requests\adapters.py", line 667, in sendFile "C:\Python\Python310\lib\site-packages\urllib3\connectionpool.py", line 787, in urlopenFile "C:\Python\

Hi,I just downloaded Premiere Pro again ater formatting my laptop.I have 3 channels in my sequence that I'm trying to play with multichannel 3 to 6, but I can't hear tracks 3-6.This worked for me just fine beofre formatting the laptop, but maybe I'm forgetting something in the configuration.I know the solution to change it to Stereo instead, but I really need the separated channels to 6 because I need the final export to be in separated channels for each track. This is how it looks like. What am I missing?
Every time I open Premiere, the cursor starts blinking (while the hourglass next to it does the same thing), and because of that, I can't open anything in the app. And when I try to move a Premiere window, it leaves behind frozen images of it. I don't know what to do.
Hello,I've encountered an issue with MOGRT files in Adobe Premiere Pro on macOS. Here are the details:OS version: macOS 15.2Premiere Pro version: 24.5.0 (build 57)The imported MOGRT displays correctly upon initial import. However, after leaving the computer idle (turned on) with Premiere Pro running for about a day, there are missing files inside the MOGRT.When I open the MOGRT's source in After Effects, everything looks fine. The issue occurs on multiple Mac computers, so it's reproducible. Additionally:There are no special characters in the file names.macOS does not have path length limitations as far as I know. The important point is that the MOGRT works correctly after import but later becomes invalid without any direct interaction. This is a significant issue as it disrupts workflow. Has anyone experienced this problem or found a solution?Unfortunately, I couldn't attach the MOGRT file directly, so I've uploaded it to Google Drive for reference:https://drive.google.com/file/d/1HDkqG
I have 3 monitors and Premiere Pro 2025 only lets me edit on the timeline on monitor 01 and I want to edit on monitor 02 since it is the largest. And I can't find a way to change this.
Premiere Pro 2025 is now installed but Premiere Pro 2024 is still kept. When I right click on Pr file and then select "Open With", Windows does't give Pr 2025 option. And even if you'd select "choose another app" and find the Pr 2025 app to open, it'll revert back to Pr 2024. I don't want to uninstall & reinstall.
I have been unable to select Premiere Pro 2023 as the default app for PRPROJ files since last year. It simply never shows up as an option. Naively I thought Microsoft would address this, but instead they have restricted the apps that can be added to the selection list to those that originate in "Microsoft Store", the same applies for Photoshop 2023. Bizzarely, the default apps are now the Beta versions of these. I've reinstalled everything multiple times, but it absolutely changes nothing. Can anyone suggest a solution - would be willing to edit registry files if necessary. I literally cannot use Premiere with After Effects or Audition, which is 50% of my workflow until I can get them to communicate with the 2023 files. This seems a little off to have a bug that runs for so long, but I begin to suspect its actually a Windows feature not a bug! Actively looking to migrate to MacOs but any solution in the meantime would be welcome.
I did a slight mistake. My film is almost finished but i tried to "subframe edit" some audio part. Now a lot later I notice that all my audio has shifted relative to the video files in a sequence by a few milliseconds. Half of the sequence is affected. How can I put audio back in place? I cannot select "syncronize" from the menu as its greyed out. Is there a way to move all audio clips by a certain milliseconds-amount? Or can I resync in the timeline?
Hello,I hope you can help me. I want to duplicate/copy a sequence and title and then change it. But since the sequence panel only refer to the source material I tried to duplicate the sequence in my material, rename it and use it differently but the original sequence is always the same and Im unable to change the new sequence without changing the original sequence as well. I tried copying the parts with Alt and Drag but that doesnt create a working copy (in order to change it and use it for other purpose).Does someone know an answer? My version is v13.1 Magician.Thank you so much!
Desde hace unas horas no arranca el programa. Lo he probado todo. He borrado plugins, he desinstado el programa, lo he vuelto a instalar. He instalado versiones antiguas y nada.
I was working on a project and suddnely out of nowhere my adjacent selection stopped working whenever I hold shift and press my two clips it only selects the clips individually instead of seleceting all the clips from one end of the clip to the other. I have reset my prefrences, Ive uninstall and reinstalled adobe premier pro, I reset my keyboard shortcuts, and Im using the latest version of premier pro. I dont have any thirdparty extensions either Im not sure if theres somewhere I have to turn it on or not
I want to convert a clip on the timeline from Mono to Stereo. I cannot for the life of me figure it out. I have tried "Edit Clip in Adobe Audition" converted it to stereo there, and saved it, but it doesn't change the clip on the timeline. I figure there must be some way to change the properties of that specific audio track in my sequence, but I'm not seeing how to do that. thanks,Danny
Here I am back on the Adobe forums to post about another inexusable glitch in their brand new piece of software. This time, I'm left wondering if I'll have permanent ear damage from the sudden and very loud MAX VOLUME overload of my headphones that started to occur intermiddently while editing. I'm running Premier 24.0.0 on a M2 Max Macbook Pro Running Venutra. The issue isn't isolated to one clip, but instead happening randomly across the timeline. It is NOT happening due to clip effects. This isn't just a clip with the volume turned to high, this is some sort of feedback error that is causing a max volume spike in the audio. The first time it happened it blasted my eardrums so badly I was in physical pain. Turning down the volume to one bar on my mac still produces a sound so loud someone heard it from 2 rooms away. Now I'm left unable to get a proper sound mix on my short film without risking literal physical injury. Wish i could give you more specifics, but ag
I understand Creative Cloud Synced Files have been discontinued. I had setup project backups to the cloud. I can't find where I had set that up in Pemiere originally. I had originally set that up. I did find this link, but I don't understand what I need to update in my settings in regards to Premiere and backups. https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/eol-creative-cloud-synced-files.html I would appreciate any help! Thanks in advance. Premiere 24.1.0Mac, Sonoma
When I import my photo into premiere pro it comes out looking like this:The original photo looks like this, so I am not sure what is creating the change in color:
When I click 'Transcribe' to start transcribing my audio clips, it'll start the process for around 10-20 seconds until it cancels and returns to the following screen:No matter how many times I do it, the same thing continues to occur. I've tried with different clips in different projects to no avail. Premiere Pro is up-to-date, running 25.1 Many thanks!
Running Premiere CC 2025 and working on a Teams project. Performed some drive organization the other day and re-linked successfully. Opening the same project today, I unexpectedly experienced offline media and errors about "Medialocator resource...not found for asset." I could only manually relink clip by clip this time and there was no last path saved information to speed up the process. After successfully relinking and saving, I came back to find the same clips and errors when I opened the project again. Attached screenshots for reference.
Hi all, I'm editing a multicam project in a foreign language, so subtitles are a must. I have a subtitles track within my multicam clips but it appears as its own camera and does not cut into the timeline if I want to keep the multicam active/as a multicam clip rather than unnested/as individual clips. Is there no way to make subtitles functional within a multicam clip and edit them into the timeline without "unnesting"/losing the multicam? (I know I could nest the subtitles on top of the multicam clip but that will be really cumbersome when my edit is more complex and I want to look at different cam angles quickly.) I appreciate any other suggestions!

When I set my in and out point in a zoomed out timeline with clips on only one track, the out point consistently gets set 1 frame in to the next clip, so I get 1 frame from the next clip in the end of the exported video.
Hi folks,Have a weird one I haven't seen before and curious if anyone else has run into it. I'm exporting a clip, and the export is showing a few frames of pixelation/degradation that does not exist in the timeline or source media (the same exact clip was rendering out fine for about two weeks). The degradation is right at the head of the clip, lasts for 25 frames, and then the clip corrects itself. Tried a bunch of different fixes – rendering with and without previews, new project, new sequence, cleared the render files, cleared the media cache, triple-checked all my sequence settings to match the output, and still getting this weird degradation. The thing is that it doesn't happen when I export ProRes. So, I rendered out a ProRes 4444 of the clip that did not pixel out and dropped it natively into Media Encoder with base-level "YouTube 1080" settings with everything set to match, and the pixelation still pops up on the output. Again, this started happening randomly af
Hi everyone,I have version 23.5.0 build 56.Windows 11Prior to this version, Premiere would remember my working preferences for each bin.I have 4 bins with icon view, sort by label, and 2 bins with list view. Now, everything reverts to list view each time I close and re-open a file.Extremely annoying and time wasting, especially when I'm working from self-made PP templates all the time.Any ideas please? Also, this version automagically appends _1 to every file name in the Export panel.Previously this only happened if it detected an identical file name.
