Why are the the picture sizes different and how can i change that? Thank you.

Hi all, I've haveing a problem where I can only see the Aduio Waveform when my editing timeline in zoomed in really close.I've attached a jpeg to show what I mean. The timeline on top is zoomed in and Audio waveform can be seen, but if I zoom out a bit more (bottom timeline) the Audio Waveform disappears. Thanks  Footage is in Mp4 from Sony ZV-1I'm running 15.4.1 (Build 6) on PC 

Hey, When i change the label of my Multicam clips in the timeline, it only changes part of the audioclip and keeps the defualt color on the part where the waveform is. Ill add a picture for reference. Is there a fix for this? to make it so the whole clip is the same color?

I have been editing on multiple editing platforms for years and find Premiere Pro the most buggy when it comes to longform editing, sluggish and unstable.Not my first choice, but the production I'm working on requires us to work in Premiere Pro.The "set an in and out point to extract" or "close gap" all of a sudden stopped working tried both Pr25.1 and 24.64.I have restarted the software with pressing alt and reset Premiere and deleted the cache.Didn't work. This function is essential to any fast paced workflow in both Avid and Premiere and for a professional software system to just stop working like this is bad. nevermind the "image buffer error" that comes up every so many hours and you have to restart. even with lcearing cache.System specs:Processor Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-8700K CPU @ 3.70GHz 3.70 GHzInstalled RAM 64.0 GBGeforce GTX 1060 6GBFootage running footage on SATA drives

Is there a way to add a custom preset to the audio mixer? I know you can add each individual portion of the preset, but that also seems to be limited to 5. Premiere Pro V 25.1.0 (Build 73)Mac M1 Max 64GB Ram OS 15.3

In Premiere Pro, I want to change the language to English. I googled for a related guide, but all I found was that I had to press [text deleted] But my vaunted macbook shows nothing.Even if you press them at the same time and press them at different times, nothing appears.   [Moderator Note: Link/text removed. All my footage clips are from the same camera, same settings. I used to be able to import them to one bin and drag them all to the same timeline. Now it forces me to make a sequence from clip settings from every single clip which really slows down production.What am I missing? Thanks.

Depuis l'installation de 2024, j'ai constamment un bug quand sur un clip je combine les effets de "stabilisation" + "fondu enchainé". J'ai un Mac Studio avec la puce ultra max, tout à jour etc.Les bugs sont alératoires, il manque des frames, l'export devient impossible, et l'enregistrement du projet fait planter la machine. Si je redécale l'effet de transition entre les clips, le bug est résolu, mais c'est une perte de temps considérable.C'est pénible.Y a que moi ?

Hallo, Ich habe ein Video im Premiere pro erstellt. Nach dem Export wird immer der Name "einer Quelle" (eingefügte Medien)  für die Dauer des gesamten Videos im oberen Drittel angezeigt.  Ich kann zwar die Quelle wechseln, aber ich kann den Namen nicht löschen. Es wird dann eben nur der Name der gewählten Quelle angezeigt.  Ich habe schon überall gesucht, Metadaten geprüft.... ich werde noch wahnsinnig. Wie krieg ich diese blöde Zeile aus meinem Video raus???

When I export a jpeg from premiere and edit it in Photoshop and then reimport into Premiere, the exposure matches perfectly (either 709 or sRGB). BUT, when I edit it in Photoshop and save it as a layered PSD, the image comes back into Premiere slightly darker (see attached image, you can see the mask I created on the bottom half). It is not a monitor issue as I keep reading. It is either an export from Photoshop or import back to Premiere that only affects PSDs and not Jpegs.  Does anybody have an answer other than crushing my Premiere to match Photoshop?

I'm editing a video in premiere. My timeline color is REC709. I export a still frame from my timeline using the export frame button (the one that looks like a camera), bring it into photoshop and then use generative fill on the still frame in photoshop. I hit save (save as a PSD). Color space RBG. then bring it back into premiere and the color of the PSD doesnt match that of the clip on my timeline. Is that because Photoshop doesnt have a REC709 color profile to choose from? I dont want to change the color profile of my premiere timeline because its for television so it needs to stay at rec 709. Any advice for roundtripping from Premiere to Photoshop and back while maintaining color consistency?

Hello, any info or advice or guidance is much appreciated.  I am attempting to load edit video media into Premiere and the source monitor and timeline monitor do not display any video, just a black screen.  Audio does play and is measured in levels.  My computer most definitely meets tech requirements.  I have attempted editing on multiple versions, including the newest one.  Files that I'm attempting to open in Premiere playback normally on my default windows media player.  I've included a screenshot of the file in the timeline noting it's blue color.  Haven't edited for a few months, so not sure if this is just a new color scheme or if this indicates a problem.  Can anyone give me things to try or check in order to simply display video on source and timeline?

just a quick question as I am new to Using proxies in my workflow. Doing a 4 camera edit with 4k footage (UHD) and was curious if I need to do the Multicam sync before creating the proxies or after? Possibly makes no difference but curious if there is a correct workflow? I also see that sometimes in YouTube videos I see the proxies toggle button is blue when on? My tests do not have this so wondering if that has to enabled or I am doing something wrong when I did my test project? thanks in advance 

I tried everything they say on the internet and still the app wont let me drag the pictures in.  

This is a video in windows explorer. "STOP" sign in the video is a separate PNG icon. Is it possible to make this STOP sing in motion while thumb nail video icon is resting in windows explorer? If you can give name of this work I can search in YouTube.     

As Premiere or Media Encoder cannot create proxies with audio passthrough, I create them externally - mostly with apple compressor or EditReady from Hedge.I am creating them for my Sony Fx3 with four audio channels 24bit audio. So originals and proxies have the exact same audio configuration. However if i take my originals offline some of the audio tracks go offline as well - the last time channel 3 and 4 went offline. There does not seem any reliable offline proxy workflow. Is it right that premiere doesnt know how to deal with multichanel audio proxies? If I just transcode the files with audio passthrough it works, but I cannot deal with the file size of UHD ProRes files for a documentary so I relly need a reliable offline proxy workflow.

(Premiere Pro 2019)Often I'll have a section of my timeline that I want to swap out and add a different video clip in but I need to know the duration of the section to which I'll be replacing so when I search for a video clip I will know if the clip is long enough to fill the space needed. I can manually figure out the time with the program monitor panel's timecode but this seems very tedious and seems like there must be an easier more exact way. I've tried to select the desired section with In and Out and this seems like it should work but I'm not seeing any timecode of the selected area?Hope this is a simple fix that I'm missing, thanks for any help.

I have multiple dates of files in this new project. I change my metadata display to show me dates (but in the meanwhile checked and unchecked Dublin Core on accident since it also had a "Date" info setting). Dublin Core date is not what I needed, the Basic tab "Date" is what I needed.Since checking the Dublin Core inputs, there are now miles of empty overlay text boxes across my project panel that hide my direct information and cannot be removed even when unchecking Dublin Core.This may require an application restart but just fyi for others.1. Premiere Version 25.1.0 (Build 73)2. Windows 10 64-bit3. Change Metadata Display in project panel, check or uncheck Dublin Core, experience text boxes4. I would like the text boxes to go away, they do not go away.

My voiceovers stopped working last week,  I had the FULL DEAL of the adobe help agent remote accessing my pc and after hours of him trying he finally made them work again but had to force delete all my "Presets" and for some reason deleting the presets made them work again and he told me the reason that it stopped working is because it was "BAD LUCK "............. Has anyone else been having  voice over issues on adobe premiere?    Mod note: I edited your title. Please don't type in all caps.

I'm trying to link my camera audio (4 tracks) plus external audio (6 tracks) to my video. First, I'm delinking all previously linked media. Then, I'm selecting all and control-L. This usually works to link media. I can even use it to link two or three of the tracks, but not all of them. Why? Is there something on my timeline preventing it? Is there a max # of linked clips? Linked selection is chosen.

Does "Consolidate Duplicates" even work? Has anyone had it work? I'm reading forum posts from 2020 and 2021 featuring the exact issue.Same drive, same file name, location, structure, etc... I've even removed all links to the files, relinked all files to the same original files and yet can't consolidate. You're telling me I have to go down my list one-by-one, finding the duplicate file names between all 548 of these mixed up 20-digit filename files, and do it by hand? What's the workflow here? This can't be it. It seems every single day is another basic error within Premiere that should have been dealt with years ago. I am not the first, and the continued failure of finding solutions of the constant barrage of missteps and workflow incongruencies all the way into 2025 is pretty asinine and frustrating. This is not professional.

This script saves the currently active project with a new version number. I.e. if the current project is "test_V1.prproj" then it is saved as "test_V2.prproj".The logic to modify the file name has been implemented in an Execute Code block with code generated by ChatGPT.Here is the exact prompt I used in ChatGPT to create the code:Please write a Adobe ExtendScript function "getNextVersionFilename" which takes as arguments "fileName" and returns a new file name for the next version. If fileName is "myProject_V1.prproj" then it should return "myProject_V2.prproj", for example. Always increment the version number at the end by one. Or add a new version number 1 if there is no version number, yet.Block script is attached.

I'm runnning the latest versions of Premiere and Media Encoder (24.5) on an iMac running Sonoma 14.6 and quite often export many clips from a timeline by sending them to Media Encoder. I've never had any problems until this week when both Media Encoder and Premiere randomly started only exporting the first frame of the clips (say it's a 15 second clip, the file will be a still of just the first frame for 15 seconds).   I tried clearing all cache first fast from both to no avail, tried many variations of timeline and sequence settings, uninstalled and reinstalled Creative Cloud entirely and used the Creative Cloud Cleaner tool to no avail, and finally did a completely fresh install of the Sonoma OS along with Creative Cloud and the issue persists.  I've tried putting the clips in a bin and exporting all the clips at once, but it randomly misses some while duplicating others. Render and replacing the clips from a duplicated sequence also causes similar random iss

Hey everyone,I'm using premire 22.6.2 and I'm trying to get to the old export menu for the subtilte. I need to export to STL or Avid DS. You used to have the option of selecting EBU STL in the old export window, but it's gone in the new version.  Any ideas?Thanks for your help

There is a nightmare bug that is increasing my editing time by 50%. Using PP 25.1.0 Built 73. Using my laptop's monitor and an external one.In my sequence, there is a nested multi-camera sequence, and on top some layers that have graphics. Every time I drag the edges of the graphics in the timeline to extend or crop the time or even  drag the graphic in the timeline, the software freezes for a good 20 seconds, and then this disaster happens. The program monitor just shows the last frame of the sequence it was at before this task and never updates, if I move the play head or press play, it's still stuck at the last frame it was at. All other functionalities are working but it becomes useless and I have to restart the app which makes this a nightmare for editing. Please any help is super appreciated.  Note: I just updated to 25.1, was using 24 before and this never happened.
