For some reason the imported preset bin, that I've got from one youtuber somehow became my default preset bin and it's really annoying, because all my presets are being created in this bin and I always need to move my presets into default user preset bin. Is there a way to change default preset bin?
I'm trying to save a transition in Premiere that I set with 2 sec duration and some other settings as a preset, but the option is greyed out. I'm editing a video that has multiple images that need this 2 sec transition, and I have to manually set everytime the durantion of the transition. How can I save it as a preset? I don't want to set as my default transition, just save a preset.
I'm trying to export my edited video that was recorded on a Sony A7III. My edits look perfectly fine the premiere preview window but when I export it get blown out highlights that also have a blue hue to them. I can't fingure out what's the cause of this.I've attached an image to show what I mean. The left one is the exported clip and the right one is the premiere preview window. I'm completely lost as to how this is happening. The only change I've made recently was in using the HLG color profile in the camera as opposed to cine4 but I can't imagine that would be the issue but I figured it's worth a mention.
I create guitar lesson videos. Whenever I need to do a slight rotation of the guitar video clip, the video looks weird. The strings get these intermittent dark patches on them, making it look like there is something wrong with the strings. As soon as I restore the rotation value back to zero it looks fine again. It also renders with this glitch so it's not a preview issue. Any thoughts on the possible cause of this would be greatly appreciated!
While editing there is a bug that happens at times where, without me changing anything, the size of a layer blows up to a huge size while previewing and only reverts to the actual size it will be in the final export if I pause the playback. This happens seemingly at random when I add a couple of effects to some layer and it's inconsistent as to what effects will cause it. Sometimes it's just a PNG with a cool sliding keyframe animation and sometimes it's a set of video layers not liking that I used the Vertical Flip effect on the bottom layer of the effects panel. I can sometimes fix it by reordering my effects layers, but it is annoying because it doesn't always work and there is seemingly no way for me to fix it consistently. Clearing the media cache does nothing for it, and a lot of other basic solutions don't work (Like restarting and reinstalling). I've also noticed that rendering usually fixes it for that session (since I usually make a separate sequence for the green screen
I invited my collaborator and she edited the sequence. When she finished, she clicked “Publish” and an error appeared, the application closed and when she wanted to reopen it, the project was nowhere to be found. She tried all the ways to open it, from all the application menus. In my workspace, the sequence appears as if she is still editing it (because she could not publish it).I wonder if this is a problem because she uses Windows and I use Apple. This is not the first time this has happened to us, the other time we duplicated the project and it did show up for her but without the saved edit.We would like to be able to fix it for good.We both use Mister Horse plugin, but not in this sequence.Thank you very much!
Essential graphics were removed yes I am aware and a new properties panel was introduced but captions' font/size etc cannot be edited unless I save a copy of the file and open it up. Why? This should be a bug but I don't have the time for the long winded questionnaire when it's rather obvious.UPDATE: After reopening the saved as Copy file - I need to edit captions again, but it's disabled again like below, the workaround is to now Save as Copy again. This can't be right.
I have a problem with fullscreen video preview in Premiere Pro and as I was searching for a fix I noticed that many people with multiple monitors have that same issue: Mercury Transmit is not working at all/ very limited. I work with 4 Monitors (2x 1080, 1x 1440, 1x 4K) as I like to have a lot of space for all windows and of course a big video preview. Unfortunately I can not use the fullscreen preview via the Mercury Transmit because it always just displayed half of the frame but then across multiple monitors, which is why I worked around that by maximising the program monitor on one of my monitors. But now that I worked with another editing software where I had no such issues I noticed what a massive life improvement the fullscreen preview is and wanted to find a fix for the mercury transmit bug. In conclusion I found some tips and and after following each one of them I got closer to solving the issue but never gotten to the point at which it is useable for me.Now whe
My Premiere Pro keeps crashing when I scroll across my timeline. I have reset, updated and reverted Premiere Pro to various editions and it didn't work. I have added memory and storage to my laptop, and it still crashes. I have tried to reach out to Adobe VARIOUS TIMES and have heard nothing from ANYBODY. Does anybody have any suggestions? Because at this point, I am ready to stop using Adobe COMPLETELY. Mod note: Please do not type in all caps here.
I am starting out with Premiere Pro CC and I need to change the shortcuts. I have read the support page on this:Preset and customizable keyboard shortcuts in Premiere Pro CC However, I can't figure out how to actually change a keyboard shortcut. What I want to do is change the zoom in to the + sign. So I get up the keyboard shortcuts window and finds that + is not assign, but how do I actually change it? Clicking on the command section is the below table has no effect. What to do?
When I open projects and click a saved workspace with dual monitors, everything only shows up on one monitor. I have to manually drag the other windows over to the other monitor every time. When I change a workspace, I have to do it again. Here are some images demonstrating this issue. When I open a project and select a dual monitor workspace, it opens like this. I have to manually drag the panel I want over to the second monitor. Every time! When I switch to another dual monitor workspace both panels show up in on the same monitor and I again have to manually move it to the other monitor. How do I fix this? It has been an issue for several years now and I cannot figure it out.
when I download a video from the web and import it in Premiere Pro it shows a vp09 error and doesn't allow me to use that clip in my video. and I have tried many things but I am not getting the solution to the problem
I had an edit I have been working on for a client for months. I had a music edit going that went through many rounds of feedback until the client was happy with it - basically, I cut a stock track in multiple places and stitched it together, crossfaded, etc. I put a lot of work into it. Today, I opened up the project, and the timing of each clip of the music is all messed up. I'm not saying that the timeline was shifted back - rather, it's the clips themselves that now start and end at a different place in the music than what I previously had. It looks like it shifted the first audio clip to start at 0, and presumably the rest were shifted back by the same amount of audio units. I have MANY versions of this project saved, and they are ALL messed up in the same way. Why did Premiere do this?? Is there any way to restore the edit I previously had? I need to license the music now for final export to client. Premiere v24.6.3Windows PCRyzen 9, NVIDIA 3060, 64 GB RAM, footage
Hi Adobe Community, I’m seeing a black mesh or grid overlay on my video footage in Premiere Pro. This is my own footage (not stock or licensed) and it plays fine outside Premiere, so the file isn’t corrupted. What I’ve Tried:Switched to Mercury Playback Engine Software Only.Re-imported the footage and cleared Media Cache.Checked sequence settings and ensured no effects or overlays are applied.Created a new project to test.my laptop details: 2.3 ghz 8 core inter core i9.AMD radeon pro 5500m 4GB/intel UHD graphics 630 Any ideas on what could be causing this? Thanks!
In Premiere Pro, I am moving a PSD file with 35 layers onto the timeline. When I place the folder, it positions all images sequentially on the timeline, then stacks the same 35 images vertically over top of the last image on 35 added layers. How do I put an end to this behavior? I only want the images sedquential on one layer. Thanks!
I use iphone 15 pro to film the video. The color space setting is Rec. 709, the render setting is also the same. But it only show the original color when there are some object like subtitle or pictures. When it only have video it became darker. Please help....
Hello,So I have created a multicam sequence with a couple of bits of video and a couple of audio files. At first all the audio and video plays in the timeline as it should and sounds fine, but when I use the razor tool to cut a section in the timeline, the audio after the cut is completely distorted and ruined after the cut. If I undo the action, the audio is still ruined after where the cut was. If I drag the multicam sequence from he source monitor to the timeline again, the sound is still distorted and ruined. It all stems from using the razor tool on the sequence and I can't stop it. The yellow line at the top of the timeline sometimes disappears on the section after the cut too but I am not sure what the yellow line is supped to signify so don't know if it is related. Does anyone have any ideas? Any help would be much appreciated.
Hi Everyone, I wanted to edit some old projects and I lost all the titles in the preview, all is left was a thin strip (2) that moves according to the motion settings (5) In the past I usually copy the first title (1) and replace the text. Then when I opened this file, I had to convert it to the latest premiere since in the past I used CC17. But when I clicked it twice, the editing window will pop up and the whole text can be seen (3). Number 4 is the screenshot of the "info" window. The exported video looks similar to the preview (2). I've tried to tweak the crop and motion directly from the pop-up window but it doesn't work.
Hey everyone,So I just tried to apply a video transition on my clip and the pop-up error Script Alert: Undefined is not an object appears. In another forum, I found a solution that worked for two people but I don't quite understand what I should do to fix it.Their solution was: "I recently resolved this at one of my customer’s sites. They had a storage volume named Library. Had to rename the volume and Premiere stopped throwing the error." AND ALSO"I can report same issue; we’ve a shared drive called LIBRARY that makes Premiere error on a new document. Remove the Libraries panels from all workspaces, and update, then it works fine.I can reproduce the issue using a USB stick on any Mac by naming it LIBRARY."Can someone kindly walk me through what exactly I should do?
Hi. I've been using Premiere for years at this point, and over the past year I've been having a constant issue where my whole PC will force restart itself whenever I'm using the software exclusivly. (Though I've also had this happen to me with Photoshop once). I'm currently running the 23.5.0 (Build 56) version or Premiere, however this persisted with the 2022 version as well. Specs:Windows 10 Pro (Ver. 22H2)AMD Ryzen 9 5950X 16-Core ProcessorNividia 3080Ti GPU64GB RAM750W Power Supplyworking with footage off of a HDD drive with Premiere installed on my M.2 SSDNividia Drivers are up to date. In the Windows Event Viewer it is a Kernel-Power 41 event. This only seems to ever happen when I'm using Premiere, and it happens at any random given time. I'm uncertain if this is directly an Adobe issue or if there's something wrong with my PC. I don't use Premiere all the time so up until this point I have tried to roll with it, but the crashes have become infuriating to work with. If
Hello guys. I try to use the transform effect but when I change the position and scale, it starts bugging itself somehow and I don't know why should I do to make the screen stable when I start moveing. Any Ideas or is just a bug? (I tried restarting the project and the PC and it didn't change anything.) Thank you <3<3<3
Problem: Every time I export an AAF no matter if I flatten it, I get a stereo output from the track I have labeled as "Production Audio." This houses lav, boom, etc. I seem to have the 12 channels in the multicam configured properly(Mono 12 channels and panned correctly) and have an adaptive channel if my main timeline where the mono tracks are assigned to the respective channel in the adaptive track I have labeled "Production Audio." What I want to do is be able to edit multicam sequences with multiple tracks of audio in one track in the main timeline and if I need to jump in and mess with any of the levels I can punch into the multicam clip and see all of the audio. By the way, I can already do all of this, but unfotunately I can't use this workflow until I figure out how to prep it for the AAF at the end of the project. If anyone has any experience doing this, please advise. Below, the green is the multicam seq in the main timeline and the blue is the synced mul
Ok so this seems like an issue with the program, it's happened to me twice now and it makes editing way more annoying.Essentially in the project tab, you can search by file name right? I import all of my files as one folder that I typically reuse for a long of my videos. I can open that folder and browse it but its hundreds of files so I tend to use search for stuff. However I can't search for anything anymore. As soon as I put in anything pop nothing is there. Some images are provided to help with understanding what I mean. I'm using an example file name called "00fd...." which is at the top of the folder for the easiest explanation.Version of premiere: 24.6.1 (build 2)Platform/OS: Windows 11
I have a transition, its Apple Prores 4444. The right 90 or so pixels are semi transparent when they should be opaque. Its a vertical line, top to bottom, as if a crop was used. I just updated to Premiere 25.1.0. Mac OSX Sequioa 15.2This error doesnt' show up for the designer. I've brought the clip into After Effects 2024.5.0 and DaVinci and i didn't see the error either. On the video you can see the semi-transparent pixels over the transparency gridhttps://f.io/KYuWj4jM
I have always been puzzled by the blue lines (straight or curved) that appear when I'm editting video. I cannot find documentation on what information these lines show me and what they are guiding me to do. I'm do a lot of zooming and focusing on particular moments in a long video (in this case an hour and a quarter long play). What makes them appear? Why do they seem cumulative in a give editing session? What about them tells me what I need to consider in order to make cleaner and smoother (or sharper and more abrupt in cases where that is appropriate..) This is likely to be too complicated at topic to consider here, but I would appreciate direction toward a good explanation of the purpose and use of what are sometimes called "motion guides,"
