We have an 11-episode series, 30 min apiece, each ep is a project within a production. Some of the video footage is from Zoom interviews or phone cameras, and the audio from these two sources has become increasingly glitchy upon playback in Premiere Pro 2024, or upon export to H264. Now the problem is eating into other audio types that are perfectly high-fi.Media cache has been completely emptied, audio input set to 'None'.-If I reboot the PC, the problem is sometimes fixed-If I restart Premiere, the problem is sometimes fixed-If I cut the glitchy sequence and then paste it back again, the problem is sometimes fixed-Some portions of the same source footage will glitch within the timeline/export, while others will not-Some Zoom interviews will glitch within the timeline/export, while others with identical codec will not PC specs:Upgraded to Premiere Pro 2024Windows 10 Pro v22H2, 64-bitHP Z840 workstationIntel(R) Xeon(R) CPU E5-2667 v3 @ 3.20GHz 3.20 GHz (2 processors)64 GB RA
I am doing a tutorial which is in older version, my APPr is a newer version. I want to make a subclip. For that I selected source monitor & subclip folder but Make Subclip tool is greyed out. How to fix it? Video also attached.
Hallo, folgendes Scenario: 1.)
I don't get the text align button, it's incredible how they complicate everything.
My computer died and in an emergency, I had to purchase new MacbookPro for editing. I successfully transferred everything over but PremierePro2025 and After Effects (probably others) are not supported in Sequoia. So no editing. Not sure if it supports 2024. How should i proceed? Down convert projects to 2024 and try to install 2024 on new laptop? Seems that wouldn't be supported either. Please advise.
HI eveyone, I am using Adobe premiere pro 2025 Yesterday I could export without any issue.Today I duplicate the project, change the text and when I am exporting the text effect (which is a graphic template) is exported as red...After some research in the forum it seems this is a REC709 or HLG parameter causing the issue.I tried to uncheck the box, tried all but still could not manage to export the text to white as it should be.Is there any one that could help? Many thanks in advance, of course project is professionnal and kind of rushy...
Tell me where the guide templates are stored! Аfter reinstalling Premiere my settings disappeared, I saved the old settings folder and want to import the settings back
I am new to video editing and Premiere Pro. I started using text based editing a few months ago and did not have any issues with it. It seemlessly edited out video that I did not want. Now I am using Adobe Premiere Pro 2024 with text based editing. When I extract text and it edits out the video it creates a small gap between the video. When I try to close the gap under sequence menu, it does not work. Any ideas on how to have it extract the video without creating gaps? Thanks!
After upgrading to version 25.1, i experience choppy timeline playback.Playback stutters significantly, especially in large projects containing 500–700 files, typically in XAVC S HD 4.2.0 8-bit format. My System specs:Processor: Intel Core i9 13900KRAM: 64GB DDR6 at 6000MHzGraphics Card: NVIDIA RTX 4070 TiStorage: NVMe SSDs (Samsung 990 Pro)
In PremierePro 2025, changing the workspace to another or “resetting to a saved layout” unintentionally changes the in/out points of a timeline sequence. No other changes are seemingly made, but I don't know.I also don't know if it is just one unintended change that is occurring or if it is reflected in other sequences as well.
No matter what I do, edits to the duplicate that I make are editing the original. I'm trying o make a mixed media clip so I've imported a scanned document of frames from a video. I have seen many people online be able to simply reframe the picture, duplicate the clip, and then resize the scanned document for the next frame. I've tried copying and pasting, using the option key and dragging the clip to duplicate, duplicated in the little projects area and then importing the clip, renaming the clip so that the system might recognize it as a different clip, I've tried everything and premiere pro still won't let me independently edit the duplicate. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the app. I've started different projects. Nothing is working. Please help i'm so frustrated.
Hey all,Quick question. I'm doing a project for school and have been using premiere for a while but in exporting the video, I am encountering the following issue. It is only outputting to half the screen and I need it to be fullscreen. I have made sure all the files are the correct frame size and gone through all the normal procedures I do every time I produce a video on premiere, but this keeps happening, not matter what I try.Does anybody know why this is the case and how to resolve it? Thanks in advance!
No me funciona la transcripción.
I am having issues making my 608 captions be closed captions vs. open captions. I used the audio transcription function, turn them into 608 captions, but no where do I see how to make them closed captioned. The captions are displayed on the Program Monitor, but the gear icon does not have a "Closed Captions Display" option that online searches recommend to change. When I export the video, the captions are burned in as open captions or subtitles. I need the captions to be embedded in the file, but not displayed as open captions. I do not want the captions exported as a sidecar. Any recommendations?
Hi, is your premiere slow to subtitle videos too? I've never had a problem but now it simply doesn't subtitle! It stays for hours and hours and doesn't exceed 25%. This didn't happen before! SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME!
I have some old WW2 stock footage I got from the national archives. The aspect ratio of the original footage was of course 4:3 but handed to me in a 1920x1080 aspect ratio mp4 clip. I thought I might save space by exporting the 1920x1080 clip (using Handbrake or Shutter Encoder) as a 1440x1080 (4:3) clip by cropping out the left and right space which isn't needed. But I see that after doing this, the cropped footage stutters in Premiere Pro when I skim through it looking for scenes. Interestingly though, that same footage is buttery smooth to navigate through when displayed inside the 1920x1080 aspect ratio clip. Is this normal? Does Premiere Pro have trouble with 4:3 aspect ratio footage? Is that why the image stutters when I rewind or fast forward through it?
It's exciting to see what quality there is in 8k RAW video footage. Some of it I want to export as a single frame for use as a single still image. My question is I need to know how to export the highest quality of that still frame. Do I start with the clip in project panel or can I select from timeline panel and will the clip be the same if I do this the right way? I have no clue how to approach this so need help, your expert advice is what I really need right now.TIA, Ken
In my adobe cloud the only thing that saves is illustrator. I can't seem to get my premier pro files saved in the cloud. When I go to the edit window and click preferences which leads you to auto-save, I don't have the option to toggle on the button to save back-up files to the creative cloud, does anyone have any knowledge of how to fix my issue? I'd really appreciate the help, thank you!
About 2 months ago when I updated my computer to windows 11 and my graphics card from a 1060 to a 3060 premiere has been non stop crashing my computer. I've tried rolling back my drivers and premiere version but neither seem to work. It's inefficient for me to reset my computer to install windows 10 as I edit full time from home. Heres a list of some of the bugs I'm facing: After editing for a little bit premiere will just completely freeze my computer then force my graphics driver to reset. I know its not my GPU because it performs perfectly fine in davinci, ffmpeg, games etc. Once the driver restarts I'm presented with a black screen in the preview window ficing me to restart the program. Another issue is it will sometimes just stop scrubbing in preview with my timeline cursor then forcing me to restart the program Another bug crashes the program completely unexplainably but remains open in task manager pinned at 100% GPU usage and it wont allow me to terminate the pro
How do I remove only one single guide line from the screen? I can drag them and right mouse click to edit them. However, I could not find an option to remove them. "Clear Guides" command clears all the guides.
This behavior started this week. Anytime I access Windows 11 File Explorer through Premiere Pro, the application crashes. To clarify, this means that if I click File->Open Project.. the app crashes as soon as the explorer window opens. This also happens if I Right-Click in the Project window and select Import. It also happens if I go to the Export window and click on the location. I should also point at that the same thing happens in After Effects, Audition, and Media Encoder. (Is there a better forum for something that impacts multiple Adobe apps?) It does not do it in Photoshop, Illustrator, or any non-Adobe apps I have tried, if that helps clarify things. Without Premiere Pro open, if I double-click on a project file in File Explorer, it will open fine. If I drag-and-drop a file to import it, that will work as well. I have listed system details below.Versions:Premiere Pro: 24.6.1After Effects: 24.6.2Audition: 24.6.0Media Encoder: 24.6.1Windows 11 23H2 build 22631.4

Hey everyone, so I recently changed my laptop and I'm having trouble writing text down in farsi. I tired to edit my graphic preferences and I don't have the middle eastern option to change. (note: I had the same issue withmy last pc and I fixed easily as I changed my preferences to middle eastern graphic but I do not have that option at all). and also even when I write down captions, it shows it prefectly fine in my caption window but threre are just blank triangle transcript on my actual video.refer down to images below for preferences. If anyone has a solution for this, I'd be greatful to share your knowledge with me as well.thanks alot.
I've just completed editing a 30 minute video which had 470 captions. At least half of those captions required changes. When I export the final video to video streaming services I don't include captions inside the file. I upload my final .mp4 to YouTube and bunny.net without captions and then upload the captions independently as a .srt file. Is this the best workflow for correcting multiple (hundreds of)captions before uploading: Export captions from Premiere Pro to my desktop using the .srt option Add a .txt extension to the exported .srt fileMake the changes with one of my .txt editorsRemove caption track from timeline in Premiere ProRemove .txt extension from corrected captions file and import new .srt file into Premiere Pro to create new caption track if I wish to have a local copy version of the sequence with captions. I initially chose the .txt file option when exporting from Premiere Pro but this changes the timing units between frame numberi
