Hello! I frequently work with multicam sequences in premerie and would like to have the clip color change on the timeline based on the source camera. For example, I want CAM 1 and CAM 2 (a tight and wide follow) to be forest, but want our Jib and Dolly to be violet and blue. It is really helpful to have a visual represention of how often cameras are used, and I feel like this should be a relatively simple thing for premire. How can I do this? Thank you for your help!
The issue is simple: due to the UI changes re: selections in Premiere CC 24, it's almost impossible to tell what's selected on the timeline. In the provided diagram and screenshots, you can see how in Premiere v23, there's a clear distinction between the unselected and selected state of a video or audio element, e.g. the waveform turns white. However, in Premiere v24, it's less clear if something is selected, no matter what label color you're using: the selection border around elements has been made thinner, and waveforms remain unchanged. Long story short, it's created a ton of friction with my timelines, which are incredibly complex and multi-layered, and it takes me more time than ever to select and move things around because I have to look a lot closer, it and feels like I'm having to use tweezers. Was this changed permanently, or is this a bug of some sort that's being patched? I'm basically thinking of reverting to v23 and skipping any new versions until it's addres
I am working on a multi hour podcast. Typically I use the online "Enhance Speech" option because it's faster processing than my laptop. However, I've noticed it seems to be better quality as well. I tested a file with the "Enhance Speech" option locally because it was over 2+ hrs (which the online option doesn't support) and I can hear a significant difference. The online processing sounds objectively better. Any reason why?I'm referring to this site here (versus the built in Premiere option in the Audio tab):https://podcast.adobe.com/ Running Premiere Pro 24.5.0 on a Macbook M1 Pro 16GB Ram.
Hello! I've been having really annoying issues with Premiere when exporting my videos. The export will always freeze at some point and the ETA increases to hours. I've been trying to solve these issues for around a week now. I've tried everything at this point:Delete Media CacheMove my timeline to a new projectRendered the timeline before exportingDeleted ALL effects and transitions (including Lumetri, drop shadows, crops, spherical blurs and film dissolves)Export to ProRes, DNxHD, H.264Switch bitrates between CBR and VBR and its valuesTried versions 13.5 through 14.2Deleted all markers (some videos didn't even have them at any point)Tried exporting with Adobe Media EncoderCheck the frame where it freezes through AME and look at it in the timeline, there's nothing extra there (not even a cut or effects, it's just in the middle of the clip)Tried different export resolutionsMatched sequence settings to source'sTried different sequences for each video and then put those sequences in
Why does Premiere make it so impossible to scale up/down on a graphic at the same time as changing it's position? The scaling works but then the positioning adds a wiggle to the movement. I've tried nesting and doing both animations separately, I've also tried adding separate adjustment layers, it's all giving the same result.
When I delete a clip and then undo, the undo takes like 2 seconds and often gives the spinning loading animation for the cursor on my mac. With each undo and redo, it seems like it takes increasing amounts of processing time. It's almost like the app isn't caching the edit history and it's constantly writing it to a file on disk or something because I don't know what would have it be so laggy. I tried rebooting the program several times without any use. Also, it's especially slow when using the text editor workspace, as I can't even highlight the text and ripple delete. It will only let me delete with a slight lag, leaving empty space in my timeline. My maching is 16inch MacBook M1 Max with 32gb RAM and the application is only using up like 8 GB of RAM so it's not a memory problem.
Recently i've been having problems to export media witch I used warp stabilizer in the editing process.I've tryed to swich the export settings, but it's still not working. The only solution that I had was to delete the stabilizer. Is anyone having the same problem?
Now that Epidemic Sound is in the stock audio of Premier Pro, How do I use the music with my Epidemic subscription? Or is it even possible?
I have a problem that just started with the new verison of Premiere Pro. Video (filmed on an iPhone 13 Pro) is imported, it appears fine. When moved to the timeline, it is blown out. Same issue when exporting. Here is a photo for reference. Any help on the fix?
I'm having serious problems exporting my project to h264. Since I upgraded my machine, I can't finish any project, it closes before exporting.I tried to contact Adobe and they didn't answer me. My new machine is an i9, 4070TI, Windows 11.
Hi, as written on the discussion platform earlier, I have trouble with audio and some video playback with an MXF project. Audio falters heavily (no playback every other second), video does play but not smoothly. All possible measures have been taken, nothing works to fix this. Talked to some other editors who ran into the same problem recently, some with MXF from Sony, some from Canon. Their solution: move their project to DaVinci. I am in a long haul documentary series, moving to another editing platform is no option. I've been working with this MXF material for the last 4 months, only after the latest update did it start to go wrong. I'm running the latest version of Premiere Pro (23.6) on a newish (6 months) mac mini pro M2 chip with latest version OS (Ventura 13.5.1). For now I moved my project to an older iMac (intel) where it runs perfectly. It seems like a bug, please look into it.
I've attached a screenshot of my timeline. I was wondering if there's a way to make this font more bold, or thicker. I was able to use the Adobe console to change the font/font size in the rest of the interface, but the timeline font remains pretty thin and harder to read. Was thinking maybe this is governed by some setting in Windows?
Hi, I'm looking to develop videos much like the one I've inlcuded in this post (youtube link). Does anyone know which adobe package is best for doing something like this? Or is there an alternative software package I should learn? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=txi2p5_OjKU&t=2s
I want to export my licensed motion templates to a hard drive to use whenever I want, even after not paying for Premiere Pro.
I have a simple animation--text flys fast onto the screen, hits a points, and slows. It involves 3 keyframes: a beginning frame off screen, a middle frame very close in the timeline to the first one, and then an ending frame at the end of the clip, but close in position to the middle clip. The problem is that the text zooms to the correct position, then keeps going PAST the final position, then reverses order to the final position. There are only 3 keyframes visible. I've even deleted everything and reloaded the asset and manually reentered the effect in case I had inadvertedly created some invisible keyframe somewhere. I can't figure it out. Why is the position moving PAST the second keyframe, then backuping up halfway between the second and third keyframes to end on the final keyframe?
Meu premiere simplesmente deixou de funcionar, já desinstalei, reinstalei, reiniciei e desliguei o pc, nada resolve, todas as vezes que eu baixo e tento abrir ele fica desse jeito aberto e na barra de tarefas.
Running CC2025 Build 61. This is a new problem with the last two updates. I've seen otehr people have this issue, but those posts seem to be from a few years ago and there was no real solution that I saw. The problem is simple. When zoomed out on my timeline (first screenshot), I do not see waveforms, even though I have selected to show waveforms in the timeline display setting. The only way I see them is if I zoom way in (screen shot 2). Anyone have a solution? TIA.
Hello, I got a new computer 4 months ago (see composition below) to use premier pro. Everything was working fine until Monday, my premier pro started lagging, rowing. Pre-visualization was lagging also, the time-line was displaying in red just by using 2 images of 5 seconds each, and my project was systematically crashing. As I said, everything has been working fine before monday. I've tried to solve the problem 1,000 different ways, and I can't tell if it's a computer problem or a premier pro problem. Here's a list of what I've done:- I uninstalled premier- I deleted the media cache- increased the amount of ram allocated to premier pro- performed the latest updates- I've run a RAM diagnostic on my PC, which shows no anomalies- I've checked my CPU temperature, and it doesn't overheat when I use premier pro. In fact, I don't get the impression that my processor is overexploited. It doesn't usually exceed 60% utilization.- I've done a performance test which tells me that m
Very recently (the last couple of projects) the audio has stopped playing back when i drag the playhead and for the life of me i cannot figure out what is causing this. If anyone out there can help me figure out what setting to change I would be very grateful! The audio works just fine in playback, no skips and rendering does not solve, it is only when dragging the playhead and I need this function and being without adds hours to my edits! Please help!

Usually I've changed my keyboard and placced the "M" key with the "enable" function. It is handy when i just want to turn on and of quickly an specific clip. From some time now, whenever I do that and press the "M" key, the clip only turns on and off while the "M" key is pressed. As soon as I let it go the clip turns back on. If I right click and use the "Enable" from the drop down menu it works fine but with the shortcut, this bug has been happening. Any way to help me around this? thank you.
Hi, Oftentimes, but not all the time, when I am transcoding proxies for weddings I shoot, media encoder and premiere will be unable to complete the transcode and I will receive an Error Retrieving Frame notice. This exclusively happens on longer clips, generally over 12gb in size (but not always on the largest ones). I have narrowed this problem down to my computer set up, but am hoping someone can help me pinpoint the issue and help with a solution. The problematic clips are generally XAVC-HS 4:2:2 10-bit Log files from the Sony FX3 or XAVC-L 4:2:0 8-Bit Log MXF files from the Sony FX6. All of the clips are located on a healthy NVME ssd (Samsung 990 Pro). I successfully transcoded a problematic clip using my Macbook Pro, which showed me that it is not a camera issue or a software issue. Problematic Computer Specs: Processor Intel(R) Core(TM) i9-9900K CPU @ 3.60GHz 3.60 GHzInstalled RAM 64.0 GB NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 Ti 8GB Stud
I developed a plugin that requires multiple DLL files. I put both. .aex and DLLs files in the same floder "C:\Program Files\Adobe\Common\Plug-ins\7.0\MediaCore\myplugin\" However, Premiere Pro did not load my plugin, and the logs showed many DLL errors "The library could not be loaded, so the plugin is set to Ignore. The error code: 2685337601" I confirm that my DLL dependencies are fine, and other demo was successfully run using exe All of the above are in the Release environment How should I fix problem
Hi all, I'm struggling with this one - I'm unable to select UK English as a spell checking option. UK English is set as my system language, and as Premiere's language. The English language pack is also installed by default. but I can't see how to change the spell checker? Am I missing something?
