Questions

I'm having an issue where if the scroll bar under the timeline is all the way to the left then I can't see any of the clips in the timeline even though I should be able to. But if I scroll just one tick to the right then all of the clips are visible, but if I scroll back to the beginning they dissapear again. The clips start 0:00:00 so I should be able to see them. If I zoom in and move just one second to the right, the clips magically appear.I've never had this issue with premiere before. 

I shot 350 vertical clips on a Sony A7r iii and when I bring them into Premiere Pro 2025, they display as horizontal which makes it almost impossible to cull through. My question is how do I rotate them in the Preview window so I can start editing?  I know I can rotate on the timeline, but want to scrub in the preview window. Or is there a way to change the metadata? Bridge and LR Classic don't help either. How should I have shot vertical? What should I have done differently?

Hi. I have placed 30fps footage on a 25fps timeline, as I have  mostly 25fps clips. There is no noticable change in the clip, it looks just fine.  Commonly taught practices such as interpretting footage and slowing down to fit FPS changes the appearance of the footage. But, simply dropping the 30fps clip on my timeline seems to be absolutely fine. What is the deal here? 

Hello everyone......I have a little problem with Premiere Pro 2024.I exported some videos in MXF OP1a, but checking the video info, some have the Variable GOP and others M3N12....Since the client wants this last GOP, where do I change the GOP settings? In the codec info in PP I can't find anything.....Thank you very much.

Terms that were fine, and everyone got used to, like - ''set to frame size vs scale to frame size'' are now ''fill frame/fit frame''... this kind of stuff is infuriating and pointless. I think I'll move on from Adobe, it is run by sadists. 

Hello, I have a 10-second audio clip on my timeline in Adobe Premiere Pro, but it's missing its corresponding video. This 10-second audio segment is part of a one-hour long video. How can I quickly find and sync the matching video to this audio part that's already on the timeline? Any tools, features, or workflows within Premiere Pro or with third-party software that can help with this would be greatly appreciated.

Having continuous problems with Adobe Premier ProIt's running on the latest update, but keeps freezing up and occassionally shutting down during work on projectsIs there an issue that I don't know about?

PP2025. There is no Offline material in this clip. And the "OK" button is not clickable. Had to Force Quit.

The 1 and 2 audio tracks are panning hard, 1 to the left and 2 to the right. Audio tracks 3 and beyond are not producing any audio at all. Ive checked my volume, my channels/panning controls and looked at numerous forums and vidoes. Cant seem to find any fix on this issue, any help would be greatly appreciated. Attached is a screenshot of my audio, both 1 and 2 say they the panning is 50/50 but they are in reality not 50/50. The 3rd track says the same but is silent.

Hello everyone,after installing the latest windows update, I am having a problem with the audio in the track editor.The audio is intermittent and I have tried opening an old project or creating a new one but the problem persists.When I export the video or audio track the sound is fine. I've been using Premiere on this laptop (not even 1 year old yet and it has a ton of storage) since just the start of this year and I'm already experiencing difficulty in playback in regards to my audio. It just starts going really laggy and robotic sounding, making it impossible to preview anything unless I export the project. I disable all my clips in the project and just enable little 10 second sections so I can preview bit by bit but it's even struggling with that.

Hi guys, I've been editing a video and tried to replace with after effects composition but it was greyed out. I found I was using Premier Pro 2024 and trying to use After Effects 2025, so I saved my project opened up premier pro 2025 then exited out of my 2024 version. It asked me to convert the file, I can't fully remember what it said but I just clicked yes. Now my whole sequence is black. If I go into my libraries the videos are visible but once it's in the sequence I can't see anything. I can still hear the music track. 

Hi, Just updated to Premiere Pro v25.0 but cannot get it to run, shortly after the startup splash screen appears it just crashes and dissapears. No sign of it as a running process in task manager afterwards.  I've uninstalled and reinstalled twice, with reboots after each install and uninstall, the second time without keeping preferences, all to no avail. Have tried opening direct from the exe and by opening an existing project. Been forced to roll back in order to be able to continue working. Installed v24.6.1 again, which starts up and is stable. Win 11 Pro for Workstations - Version 23H2AMD Ryyzen Threadripper 3960x128gb RAMNVidia RTX 3080ti - Studio driver version 561.09

Hey there! I'm using Logitech MX Master 3S and just recently updated Adobe Premiere Pro to v 24.0, the horizontal wheel in the timeline playhead navigation does not scroll through. I tried reverting back to v 23.6 and it does work well.Any issues on Adobe's end? I'm working for hours and the horizontal scroll really help me be productive and not hurt my pointing finger.

Hi, hope someone can help me with Premiere Pro vers 24.6.1 (build 2). I dunno the reason it always crashes (halts without giving any messages) if I go to export a MP4 video choosing the format H.264 with bitrate CBR 1600 (see the attachment). Oddly, if I instead choose VBR 1 or 2, Premiere does nor crash but makes a video with a bitrate of 160 Mb/s even if I chose 1600 Mbps. FYI, the video I am working is MP4 1920x1080, 25 fps, Pal, 1623 Mb/s. (The reason I want to export the new video with a similar bitrate). Please take into account that Premiere has never crashed so far working with lower bitrate. Thank you.

Hi,I created subtitles for a video - which worked very well. Now, as we have a multlingual audience I woud like to provide the audience the option to select between different localized subtitles when watching the video, instead of publishing three videos, each with burned in subtitles in one language. Basically like in every movie you can stream where you select subtitles off, langugae 1, language 2 etc. Is this possible? If yes is there any guidance how to create those different subtitles? Thanks. 

I found that not every footage I'm editing in the same sequence has this problem and no idea why it happens. I cut my footage and used 'constant power' to join each part. I used filters which are denoise / paramatric equalizer (vocal enhancer) and single-band compresser. I found that at the beginning of the part after the cut, the volume seem to be noticeably lighter than the previous part of the sequence (play the preview continuously across few cuts); I also found that if after I notice the dip in the volume happened then I pause and move the playhead to be closer to the cut and play it again, the timestamp where it used to sound problematic is no longer sound faded anymore.   This audio dipping / fading seems to exists in both preview and export. I tried both export as CBR and VBR (2pass) and still having the same problem.   Anyone here experiencing the same issue? Is it caused by the spec of the computer? or the software cannot handle the footage or anything set different

Hi, Not sure what could be the problem but it's becoming super annoying.I have to delete my cache (on a separate Cache SSD drive) like 3 times per day because of Premiere just suddenly freezes the timeline and the error pops up:"Unable to create image buffer"I have used Pr 24.0 but at some point during editing its just slows down massively and ended up rolling back to 23.0 which has been the most stable.Specs attached. 

Hello I recently exported multiple styles of the same lower thirds template to premiere. I was a bit lost on how I can simply change the style of these within the Essential Graphics function in Premiere. Thanks for any help you can provide

If I have a piece of footage in multiple sequences, I want to change the label/color for all the sequences. Currently using PP 2025, if I change the label/color of footage it only updates in the sequence I'm working in. The other sequences do not update the label/color. There used to be a checkbox in Premiere Pro settings saying something like "apply label colors across all instances" meaning if you make a clip a color, it will update to that label/color everywhere in your project. It seems that functionality has been lost?Thanks in advance.

the splash screen indicates the Premiere Pro is loading ImporterQuickTime.prm plugin. Never advances from this point. The Plugin loading.log files shows that the ImporterQuickTime.prm was loaded from the JSON file.   It appears that files are missing from the C:\Program Files\Adobe\Common\Plug-ins\7.0\MediaCorePR Pro is looking for the folloing extension in this directory. Scanning for the following file types: *.prmp, *.prm, *.dll, *.aex, *.8bf.  They do not exist. There is only one file and it's a dummy.txt file. What App should I install to the required drivers in this directory. ???  The issue also exist with After effect, Rush and media encoder. All of them will NOT LOAD!All the apps mentioned have been updated to the latest version. I have made sure they are running as administrator I disconnect all devices from the laptop PR Pro was working and has stopped.  This is a major issue and needs to be addressed

When editing color using lumetri, suddenly if i go to other panel, like timeline, the changes go back to where i starterd, if i made changes, save file, close proyect and reopen, changes are saved. But, if i make some change on the sliders of lumetri, even on curves, and change panel. sometines reset to those values.  it make me mad, cause is erratic.... it begun on a proyect made on 24, upgraded to 25, but algo on new proyects as well.  i flushed media chache... but still not work.  

I work on a project file. I save. I auto save. The next day I open that project file and none of my activity has been saved.  However, I go to my Auto Save Folder and I open the most recent auto save and BOOM - there's all my progress.  Why would my project file choose not to open the most recent save position? Do I have to double check every single project file from now on? Do I have to start editing my opening my Auto Save folders first?  Very frustrating.  Thank you, -Danny
