Yo, friends. I have a ton of MKV files. I used just rename the extension to avi and edit the files using Premiere Pro 2020. After I decided to upgrade my system to Msi z790-pro, 13900KF and RTX 4070 Ti (64 GB DDR5-6000), it simply does not work anymore. Files are imported, but videos don't play. Just sound works. I don't understand what changed. I can use MkvExtractGui in order to import just videos, but I feel like I just trashed my money away. I installed official Adobe Premiere Pro 2024, but it's the same. Videos play smoothly when I open it with Media Player Classic, but it's impossible visualize the same videos in timeline. I had a 11400F with Aorus B-560 m and RTX 3060 before. I still use the same Windows 10 64 and the same K-lite Pack. 1 week ago, I just had to rename the files extensions to avi and the video and the first audio stream would play perfectly... I tried several things, but now it's impossible here. Is there a way to make it works again?Thank you very much in advanc
Hi, I've just updated Pr to 24.1.0. I haven't changed any settings but I have this oddity when playing audio in my timeline. I am sure this is an easy fix but since I didn't make any changes I'm unsure where to look. Here's a screen grab when the audio track is on A1: You can see the track has two channels, but it is only playing out the left channel. The other thing is that the audio monitor (the green bar to the right) is now showing four channels, not my normal two. I assume each of these represents each audio track on my timeline, but I don't normally have it set up this way. I only monitor whatever is playing and it only shows two bars, one for left, and one for right. If I drag the audio clip onto track two, now the audio only comes out the right channel: To solve this I have to centre the first dial in Audio Track Mixer: So my question is, why has this now defaulted to this state? How do I ensure that all tracks play through both channels automatically?
Every single project loses the fonts that are installed from Creative Cloud, every single project.Deleting Media Cache does not work. Restarting the application does not work. Re-installing the latest software version from Creative Cloud does not work. Steps:1. Open new project.2. Lose all downloaded/installed fonts every single time you open your projects.3. ?????

Inefficient rendering:Dear Adobe team, I have a super simple task in premiere, Aftereffects and Media Encoder 2025: take a 16384x8192 24fps prores lt (preview at this point, later to be replaced by a prores4444), put it in a 8192x5160 timeline, add a tiny text in the lower left and hit render to prores lt again. no transcoding, no image transformation, just a simple crop. this task takes about 60 minutes to render (for 90sec source), in all 3 applications, with multiframe rendering in AE being slower than single frame rendering, and non-gpu rendering in media encoder being faster than gpu rendering.in comparison, the same task in davinci resolve takes less than 300 seconds (rendering to dnxhr10), about 15x faster than adobe.my PC has zero bottlenecks for this task, threadripper, 128GB RAM, m.2 boot, project & files live on a 1000MB/sec NAS.the reason I am asking is because i need to do this task with prores4444 as input, and notchLC as output, and I am forced to use adobe for this,
Não estou conseguindo criar proxys dos meus arquivos em 4K, a mídia selecionada não está indo para o Media Encoder. O que eu faço?
I´m going mad because a task that i do many times that is export an XML from premiere and imported in Davinci Resolve for color grade is not working because every attemp of exporting is read by Davinci as a 50 FPS timeline. Myu sequence is 25p but noy way to Resolve read like that. At first time i blame Davinci, but i make many tests and with past XML´s, davinci read itt ok, but with the new version of premiere is alway export as 50 fps. And in Davinci a can´t change it.Anyone else??
Right-clicking on a clip in the timeline and selecting "reveal in project" is a feature I use so often, I've given it a custom shortcut. However, I'm unable to do so on certain clips in the timeline, even though the clips come from the same project as others in the timeline. I'm working in a Production for the first time, so maybe I'm missing something. I tried replacing them, but the same result. I am replacing them from a project that lives within the production, to be clear. If it makes a difference, I'm dealing with multicam clips. What gives? Running 24.6.1 on macOS sequoia. UPDATE: Sometimes it works, but I have to drag the clip onto the timeline 3, 4, sometimes 5 times. WTF? Is this a bug? I have to drag and drop 3-4 dozen clips onto a timeline 3-5x apiece for things to work properly?
Does anyone have any information on this error code? I'm trying to figure out whats going on so I can upload my video but have found nothing on it.
This might be a really stupid question, but I'm still getting used to Premiere after being out of video production for a while...I created a new project, imported all the clips I shot (I used two cameras), assembled and edited all the clips from my main camera, then assembled all the B-roll shots on a different track so I could sync them. The color and lighting were different on the two cameras, so I cut all the clips from my main camera and pasted them into a new timeline/sequence so I could export them as a single file then import that file to a new sequence so I could color correct the entire sequence at once. Now I need to make some changes in that timeline but it seems to be gone. I can use the imported file but then I'll need to cut it up again...I'd rather go back to the first timeline and make the edits there then re-export it to fix the color. If I try to reopen the sequence, all I get is the single file timeline. Does this make sense? Can anyone tell me what might be happening
Please see attached image. Notice the Red arrows. As you can see words look fine in the Caption track, but on program monitor some letters are scrambled within the words. What's going on here? How can I fix this? I tried several different Sinhala font types with the same results.I'm using Premier v15.2 and Windows 10, and windows standard Sinhala Font: Iskoola Potano such issues with ms word or powerpoint with the above font.
Hello everybody. I am used to work in "Icon View", in Premiere Pro. Really liked, that you can see actual footage and its duration. But after last update or patch, Adobe change this and now instead of duration its just color label. Can you help me please? I would love to bring duration back (or least add this as an option). Thank you very much!

I have a video file I created from OBS. I have OBS set to record .mkv. The mkv file is remux to mp4. This file was recorded with all 6 tracks selects. However, when I import the mp4 file into Premiere, only 5 tracks are imported. What happen of my 6th track? It's completely missing. I can't tell if I'm missing the 6th track or the 1st track. Anyone know what's going on? Thanks for your help.
I'm recording gameplay with multiple audio tracks in OBS to MKV. I then use ffmpeg to convert to mp4 with 3 audio tracks. When I import the resulting output file to Premiere Pro Version 24.3.0 (Build 59) and drag it onto my timeline, the V1 and A1 tracks are almost 2 seconds shorter, seemingly cutting off the first 2 seconds (or really 00:01:59). Ultimately that ends up causing V1 and A1 to be ahead by that amount compared to V2 and V3. If I open the same file in Audacity, all 3 audio tracks are the same length and sync'd up correctly, or if I watch it in Windows Media Player and listen to each track individually they all sound sync'd up as well, so it appears to be just an issue with Premiere Pro. Any ideas what I can do to resolve this? Is this some weird Premiere setting, or is it a bug?
I imported some Motion Graphics into my Graphic Templates Library on Premiere Pro, but I'm getting a prompt saying I need to have After Effects downloaded to use them. I have the most updated version of After Effects already though, so I can't figure out what to do so that I can use these Motion Graphics within Premiere Pro.
On Premiere Pro Version 25.00 build 61 when using Enhance Speech (I use it at the 7.0 setting but happens at others as well) there are artifacts inserted during silence, as well as at the end of the silence wher the artifact mixes with dialogue and distorts the very beginning of it. The artifacts appear as pulses in the screen shot. My machine is running Windows 11 with an Nvidia 2070 Super. This appears to only have happened since the version 25.00 update.
I'm following up on this post because here it is October 2024 and I'm experiencing FREQUENT crashes of Adobe products. The ones I use most often are Premiere Pro, which crashes intermittently and frequently with NO ERROR MESSAGES. Now, I'm seeing the same behavior with Adobe Illustrator.I'm using all the latest versions on Windows 11 Pro. I'm as close to certain as I can be that these problems have nothing to do with my computer configuration, but with no error messages, and no obvious log files to review, there's no way to tell.I've contacted Adobe repeatedly about the problems I've encountered, and even though I' done the whole screen-sharing routine, the front-end developers are not able to resolve these issues. What is happening to Adobe? The quality of their products has diminished significantly over the last couple of years; I'm really frustrated with the lack of support expertise.
This is an annoying bug.I'm reviewing captions, I click on one, it gets highlighted in the Captions window, I click on it in the Captions window it to edit it and... it disappears, leaving the message "No caption content found" in the Captions window, the playhead moves to the beginning of the caption. If I then reselect the caption in the timeline then double clicking on the caption in the Captions window let's me edit it... Hi! I am a support technician, and our company's designers are facing an issue.I do not understand much about how Premiere works, but it seems that every time you open a project, Adobe relinks all connections made between the main project and other projects/assets. This can also include projects made in different Adobe software.Last Friday (11/1/2024), everything was alright. One of the designers claims that Adobe had a version update last weekend to version 25.0.Here are some images related to the issue. We've tried uninstalling Premiere and removing the plugins, but it didn't work.
Every time I go in the comparison view in the lumetri panel, my preview gets squished up and only shows a broken reference clip. Also, the the preview window gets frozen and doens't allow me to do anything even if I try to disable comparison view, rendering program unusable until I restart Premiere. Basically, I can't use the color match feature now, while it was fine on previous versions of premiere. Does anybody get the same problem? I have a Macbook M1 Max 32Gb Ram and the updated 25.0 Premiere
I have been doing closed captioning for a couple of years now and have developed a workflow that works for our TV station. I am on a 2022 Mac Studio (Ventura 13.5.1), I recently updated to Premiere Pro to 23.6 and captioning has been inconsistent. Today's problem:I imported a 3-minute 1280x720 MP4 clip. I made a new sequence from the clip. The clip needed some graphic work. In the timeline, I replaced the clip with After Effects Comp. Finished my graphic work. The output is for broadcast TV. I transcribed the clip with CEA608 captions as I normally do. I have an MXF OP1a export preset that I use. It embeds the captions into the MXF file (Not burn into video)Today when I exported, and watched the video back in our playback server for air.... I am seeing BOTH open (burned in) and closed captions (read by my system). The original video doesn't have any captions.I only have one caption track in my sequence.I do not see checkboxes for "burn-in" captions. On the export p
