I have been having a lot of trouble with Adobe Premiere lately. The program closes itself, does not save, freezes, does not read the video, and many problems.The only solution to solve the MXF files problem was to install Adobe Premiere version 24.1. 

Super noob question driving me nuts. I have a timeline with an audio bed that will not change. I'm moving video clips around and trying different options. I would like to be able to delete a single video clip and have everything thereafter move up and close the gap. I've tried selecting the clip and shift/delete. Nothing happens. Is there a simple, one-step way to do this? Thanks!

Hello everyone,I'm new to using Premiere Pro, and I have a question about the new text-based editing feature in Premiere Pro. I recorded an audio voice-over for a video, but I need to edit it by removing parts where I made mistakes and then corrected them, or by cutting out moments of silence. I've seen a video where you can remove and edit these parts easily by just selecting and deleting, which removes both the audio and video segments from the sequence. I want to do this, but only for an audio file. Is that possible? When I try to delete, nothing happens.

I'm having trouble with color grading in a multicam sequence in Premiere Pro.   My workflow: I’ve created a multicam source sequence (three cameras, each recording in 4K LOG for a 1-hour interview). I then created a new editing sequence from the source sequence to cut between the different camera angles.   Since the project is heavy, I’m using proxies for editing.   The problem is when I try to apply colour grading directly in the multicam source sequence, the grading doesn't show up in my editing sequence or even the source multicam sequence. I want to apply color grading to the full video clips (without using adjustment layers or having to apply grading to each individual cut) in the source sequence, so I only have to do it once per camera angle.   Occasionally, I briefly see the color grading in the Program Monitor, but it quickly reverts to the flat LOG footage. When I toggle full screen it looks like this.I didn't touch anything, and if I did I don't know what. This didn't use to happen and I do not know how to fix it

When scrubbing on a timeline and shuttling right to speed up playback, when you decrease the speed (with shuttle left) the audio is completely out of sync with the video.  And when you continue playback it's not from the point where the audio left off.  1. Premiere Pro Version 24.6.1 (Build 2)2. MAC OS Sonoma .  (Macbook Apple M3 Pro). Playback on multiple monitors, audio through a blackmagic Ultrastudio 4k Mini.3.  Basic steps is to scrub then slow down to normal speed using the shuttle left and shuttle right keys (L & J Keys).4.  On other systems this is not an issue.  When I slow down everything is in sync.

I have looked everywhere on adobe site and downloaded tons of lookup tables that don't work. I need a simple rec 709 for my footage for the canon log gamma  for the canon c100 mark ii to use on my footage in premiere pro.... any help would be appreciated.

Hi,   I have been working in Acholi language and have not figured out a way to get Premier to translate from English to Acholi.  I do have the interviews transcribed to English from a professional transcripton service.  Is there a way to upload the transcripts I have into the text based editing software?

So, this is a pretty common issue and I already did a ton of research and tried a lot of solutions, but nothing seems to be working for me.  I know this issue has to do with the Color Space and I understand everything needs to be set to Rec.709. I checked all of my footage and sequence settings and everything seems to be on the right color space. I also tried setting the Viewer Gamma to "Quick Time" rather than "Broadcast". I read this did the trick for a lot of people, but didn't make a difference to me.    Does anyone have any idea what else I'm doing wrong and how I can solve this without using a Gamma Correction LUT? (I also tried that and it looks horrible and nothing like what I'm seeing on Premiere)   Here's my Lumetri settings and below you can see how the video looks when I export it.         

My entire team is experiencing an issue seen before here on the discussions. Premiere Pro and Finder are greying out project files as if they are in use. You cannot open them nor copy/move them. It's maddening. It only happens when Premiere Pro is saving to an external disk.  The only solution I've found after hours of research is to release the files via Terminal. Open Terminal and type: "xattr -d com.apple.FinderInfo dragged-and-dropped-file" and return. Bam, file is released and behaves normally. We're all on 14.4 Sonoma (and now 14.5) and Premiere Pro 24.3, 24.4, 24.5.

doing a simple text animation it's like in starting it will be small and after that slowly become large and simultaneously travel in a straight line but here is the problem text not going straight it's making a random path and it's so annoy.it's not doing what I want this update is garbage i can't able to do a simple animation 

Hey everybody! I haven't been using premiere for a while and there is something that bothers me. I must be silly or something, but i cannot find how to open an empty project in premiere. It wants me to open something existing, but I just need an empty document to load new material in. How come Premiere wants me to open ther stock files or something i made earlier? Does anyone know what I should do?

Can I separate the X and Y position attributes so I can keyframe them separately? I know I can do this in AE, but can this be done in Premiere?Thanks!Best, Ben

Still get it. Also, when rendering without cuda it gives me blocks of weird checkered graphics throughout the video

Finally, the version as it should be ... there are no stutters on the timeline, no matter which panel is open, it works perfectly on two 4K monitors ... whatever you touch opens immediately and there are no delays (of course there will be errors and mistakes, but that's corrects on the fly), a big optimization has been done...now it's really a pleasure to work in Pp..please keep it up...ADOBE all congratulations and praise....

Hi guys,I added my media to a mogrt and it shows up in the Essential Graphic edit tab but when I play it, it doesn't show up in the program window, if I leave it on pause, it shows Any idea?I've shown it here. https://youtu.be/2R-ZeX3GIcI  I tried > Sequence > Render Selection from the Sequence pull down menu. And got this. I know the mogrt supports video in the media replacement. Thanks in advance!

I just downloaded the new Premiere Pro today. I am unable to import any preset text styles. I've never had an issue with this before. Today it just keeps showing this window and does nothing. I've tried multiple saved preset text files and nothing. Thank you! 

Olá, estou utilizando o Premiere Pro 2025 e ao importar os arquivos gravados em uma camera AVCHD (arquivos MTS), os arquivos são importados denviculados e o audio totalmente fora de sincronia.  Alguém pode me dar um direcionamento. Obrigado 

Premiere Pro 15.4.1 (and earlier versions) If I have tracked a mask, then go back to one of the tracking keyframes and alter the shape of the mask and redo the automatic tracking (forward or backwards) from that keyframe, it will not replace/overwrite the existing keyframes with the updated mask shape. With each advancement of the tracking to the next frame (during automatic tracking), the previously created mask shape remains. Why does it not track my updated mask shape?The only way around this that I've found is to delete all the previous keyframes that I am about to replace. That's not a big deal if I'm going to redo the tracking all the way to the end of the clip, but it is a pain if I want to only replace a portion of the tracking. I've tried doing the automatic tracking one frame at a time, but if there's already a keyframe at the next frame, it will not be overwritten with my updated mask shape; the previously keyframed shape will remain. Is there a way to correct this?

Hi, Heres the deal,  when i multicam edit files in the non nested sequence get randomly zoomed for no reason. it's a HUGE hassle when you are in the nested sequence and you notice that suddenly your footage in zoomed in 150% .... anyone else getting seeing this bug? I'm trying to export a very large project in premiere (in ProRest 422 HQ)- all sequence settings in the editing window and export window are set to 23.976 fps, but the resulting export is always an 'average frame rate' of 23.33. Previously when I unchecked 'Optimize stills', it fixed the problem. With the 2025 update, there is no 'Optimize stills' option, and it seemed to cause the same issue. I very desperately need help and ideas on how to fix this. Thanks

Audio and video files are not linking when initiating the "Link" option. It says "Unlink" after initially pressing the "Link" option like they are but they are not. Worked perfectly fine before PP 2025 was released. It even happens with the original audio file from the video file, they do not move about the sequence in tandem and it interrupts workflow. Maybe I turned a setting on by mistake? Feels like a bug though.
