Hello, I'm encountering a problem where I have a clip highlighted and I try to open Clip > Source Settings, but nothing actually happens. It isn't greyed out or anything like that, it just doesn't seem to open anything. I apologize if I'm missing something, as I am a new user, but if anyone could help it would be greatly appreciated.

Bonjour, Premiere pro se coupe purement et simplement lorsque j'exporte une vidéo (que ce soit une vidéo de 4 ou 22 minutes).J'ai fait une MaJ, j'ai l'outil Diagnostic, j'ai reseté mes préférences ... D'ailleurs, j'avais forcément perdu mes raccourcis claviers et des effets, que je me suis fait ch* à remettre,et j'ai denouveau le message d'erreur avec Diagnostic "your Premiere Pro app preferences may be corrupted".  Je ne comprends absolument pas (pas l'anglais hein, pourquoi ce truc plante toujours).Merci de votre aide

I’ve seen many users mention that the Beta resolved this issue, but unfortunately, that hasn’t been the case for me. I’ve tried various solutions, including moving the MXF clip to a different source folder, restarting, and reinstalling both the standard and Beta versions of Premiere. I’ve also cleared my cache and attempted to transcode the file into a different format, but Adobe Encoder isn’t functioning either. I'm unsure of the root cause at this point. Given the subscription cost, I’m quite disappointed with these ongoing issues

Hello there everyone, how are you doing?This is my first question here, because I couldn't really find an answer to my problem.I have this screen record that I did with my phone, it's about 15 minutes. It's basically a tutorial for some apps about planning astro photos, and, the weird thing is, the video goes perfect. Both in my android device as in my computer, but when I import the file to Premiere, it just goes tremendously slow. From time to time, it just jumps really fast and then comes back to being really slow again.I had this issue a couple of times with some recordings, some go well, some don't.The computer is not the problem by the way, I edit in 4K all the time, is just with these types of files that occur.Any idea? I'm converting the file to a different format now, I'm not sure if it's an android issue, that maybe sometimes it just processes the file incorrectly or something from Premiere.Hope you can give me some advice.Thanks in advance.Pablo.

Had an update, now i cant make this audio clip stereo in any way. How do i fix this?

rendering and playback dose not working in my MacBook M 1 Pro

I have been using Premiere Pro for a while, but only sporadically. I tried to use it today, and ran into some issues. I used it earlier in the week without issue.  I made a short video to better describe my problems that I can in writing, but basically I can't open an existing project. When I click open everything disappears. I also cannot create a new project. When I click on browse to put the project in a specific folder nothing happens.  I have tried various things. Initially I tried to remove cache and profiles based on a thread I found on here. That did not work. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling Premiere. Nothing. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling all the Creative Cloud. Still nothing. I tried resetting my computer to a state from a month or so ago when I know Premiere was working. That did not work. I tried reinstalling the OS but not the other files. That didn't work. Finally, I wiped the hard drive and reinstalled everything. Same problem. &nbs

Hello, I'm having a bit of a problem with Premiere CC 2018 (v12.0.0) on Windows 10 on my travel laptop. Windows is operating at the screen's native resolution of 1366 x 786.I'm trying to load my custom keyboard shortcuts into Premiere Pro but am unable to do it because the pop-up window is taller than my screen size. I can make all the changes I want, but the "OK" button is off-screen so I cannot ever click it to save the changes. I can't resize the pop-up window either, and it has no scroll bar. I can move it around by click-and-dragging on the top bar of the pop-up window, but the mouse hits the limits of its movement before I am able to drag the "OK" button into view. I can click on the 'x' button to close the panel but when I do so, all of my changes are discarded.Is anybody able to help with suggestions of how I might be able to view the full pop-up window?

While editing using the latest version (14.8), my Premiere Pro freezes my whole system. Can't even run the task manager to end Premiere Pro's task so I will go with a hard reset on my PC. The previos version I use was a stable one (14.0)

I use AE comps in my Premiere Pro projects and everything's been going fine the past few weeks. Until today where my AE comps show up as "Media Offline" on my PP timeline. When I try to link them back up, the window that pops up saying "Connecting to Dynamic Link server" has a loading bar, but it loads forever. I left it going for over 20 minutes and still nothing. These are short comps that are a few seconds long btw so the file sizes aren't anywhere that large to be taking this long. There's other times when I restart PP and the offline files will instead say "Media Pending" in yellow in the Program window. And they stay that way forever. The option to link media is greyed out for those clips so there's nothing I can do.    I'm using the latest versions of PP and AE as of me writing this post. Every single Adobe app I have are all at their latest versions too. I tried downgrading PP and AE to earlier versions. But when I try to re-link the offline AE comps, P

Hi all,I'm trying to find the best way to edit long videos into shorter clips and save them for use in future projects. I’ve searched on Google and watched some YouTube videos, but they seem too focused on immediately creating a finished video, rather than organizing clips for later use.Here’s what I’m trying to do:I have several videos from my drone, all taken from the same location over a period of time. I want to go through each video, extract the good parts, and save them to a folder for future use. I haven’t been able to find a good tutorial that explains this process.Also, when I mark the in and out points of a clip and drag it to the timeline, the playback in the timeline is really choppy, but the source window plays smoothly. Does anyone know why this happens or how to fix it?i've included a video of the choppy playback.

Hi guys. I ran into a problem. Adobe Premiere Pro does not start. Eternal loading on the start window. I don't know what happened. But not a single Adobe application is running. Tell me, please, maybe someone has encountered? Rebooting and reinstalling do not help

Hey everyone!I'm doing my first multi-camera session, and I ran into a problem with the hotkeys.I read that 1,2,3,4 should work to switch between cameras while on multi-cam mode.The problem is, I set up those buttons to other functions. So they don't work for me to switch betweenangles.I tried to cancel those functions for 1 and 2 but still multicam isn't working. Only with mouse!Help!!!

My saved Workspaces went missing after I updated PrPro, should I be expecting more surprises?

I want to start a thread of things that take much longer to do beginning with Adobe Premiere 2024 in the hopes that developers will fix the items and put them back the way they were. Or I hope that someone can explain the functionality that replaced the old way and how I might be able to use it differently to at least have me edit at the speed I am used to. Since the release of 2024, I have found some items that were taken away or added. As a result, editing using the functions that replaced them now take me 2 or 3 times as longer to accomplish. Hi, Wondering if anyone has had any success with two editor working on the same production file using local mirrored drives? Have a sprawling documentary that has recently moved across to Productions and wondering if there's a way to host the production file in the cloud so that we can work off it at the same time, whilst all the media lives on two mirrored local drives in each location? Any thoughts, or steers, hugely appreciated! ThanksAl

Hello, I recently changed my graphics card. After replacing it, I reset my computer and reinstalled my programs. But I couldn't get a decent performance in Premiere Pro. I start the video, the video does not play. I hold the cursor and move it back and forth, again there is no reaction in the preview. I tried many solutions on the internet but could not get an answer. I updated my graphics card drivers, updated my computer, and even updated my BIOS version. I could never solve my problem. I am trying to figure out how best to create a time lapse of the sunset or the sunrise.  The experiment last night showed that I don't want to start a sunset while the sun is still up.  What I did was shot 1800 frames at 2 second intervals, 1/200s exposure, f/7.1, ISO 100.  This was roughly the correct exposure at the start of golden hour or about a half hour before sunset. Then I exported them from LR as TIFFs, imported them into Premiere Pro, and added them to a time line.  Each photo was one frame in length. The frames were totally black after about 45 minutes. The biggest "yuck" is that the resulting video has the leaves of the foliage dancing around as you might expect from footage with a super fast shutter. One idea would be to have the shutter open for 1s (and still take frames at 2s intervals).  This would give me the typical 180º shutter.  I think I'm also going to start just at sunset.  And also take sets of frames adjust

Hello,I'm facing a problem I've never had before. Some DJI drone 4k files play perfectly on the timeline while I'm editing, but when rendered they freeze as if it were a streaming with internet problems. I've tried all kinds of formats and resolutions, I've tried removing all the effects, rendering the raw file in a sequence of the same resolution, nothing works.My system:macOS Sonoma 14.5Premiere Pro 24.6.1 (build 2)i9 intel / 32gb RAMPlease, I appreciate any help.

Al reproducir el montaje en la línea de tiempo, el marcado que debería avanzar acorde a lo que se está viendo en la pantalla, no se mueve, se queda en el mismo lugar, a pesar de que el video si se está reproduciendo. Esto me afecta al buscar cortes precisos en la línea del tiempo, como acorde a un momento en el video, o en el audio.¿Saben cómo solucionarlo?Tengo la versión Premiere 24.5.0Sistema operativo Windows 11

Hello everyone,    since the last update of Premiere Pro today, I have the following problem. I always get the following error   message when I apply a video transition: 'Effect requires GPU acceleration.' Therefore, I cannot use video  transitions. If any of you have a solution for this problem, I would appreciate a message.    Wishing you a pleasant evening

Two questions here: 1) I have what seems to be a common issue with mixed results. Most of my audio files will not auto match loudness. They are all tagged as dialogue, but give the error icons and say 'some of the seleceted clips are enabled while others are not' and 'not all selected clips have the same control value...' I have tried this with the entire timeline (~3 min), chunks of the timeline, and two files alone. It always gives the same error.  2) Most of my audio files (that are linked to a video) are green, but a few of them (VO sent separately) are blue. I've looked in my labels tab in preferences and nothing is labeled as blue. Any idea what that's about? Thanks in advance. It's getting better but man, trying to learn this thing has been a bear. 

I have no idea how but when ever I press either L-ALT or R-ALT it will underline a single letter in the menus at the top (underline access used for when you don't have a mouse or something to navagiate the sccreen). It is messing with my work flow so much I am considering using other software that is way less expensive and actually allows me to disable features!  I have this setting disabled in my windows setting and it doesn't do it anywhere else on my computer, ONLY IN ADOBE PRODUCTS! This issue is common across every single device that I use. Any help with resolving this issue would be greatly apprecitated.
