Hi there! I've been working on a feature cut for many months, and suddenly for some reason ONE sound effect file (that unfortunatley I'm using over and over again in many places) has the diagnonal warning strips on it. The file is in my media pool and plays fine, and when I match frame it knows what file it's supposed to be referencing -- but maybe somehow the timecode of the in/out has been changed somehow so it's looking for timecode that doesn't exist in this file? This is a sound effect from a sound effect library, and has been working fine until now -- even when I go back to previous versions of the cut it has the same error, so it seems to be something with the source file. Is there a way to change the in/out of these clips and leave them as they are in the timeline?Any idea how this might have happened? The source media is in the same place it's always been, I haven't changed anything... Thank you for taking a look at this!Josh
This is randomly happening at the moment. Its doing it occasionally on clips from different cameras. This one is only doing it when set to 1/2 res. Full res and 1/4 res play fine. It is stretching and grainifying the clip. (what it should look like below). I think it might have started after a windows update, but I cant be sure. Display driver version 560.94
I am working on a project. The video is about 2 minutes long but when I export is on H.264 the final video is only about 33 seconds long. How can I fix this?
The new update is giving an error when I import PSD files into individual layers.
Hi everyone, I recently created a new sequence to try to replace some existing footage in my main project. Everything seemed to go ok (even though it seems this should be more seamless in general, but that's for another day) but I accidentally 'X'ed' out my sequence in the timeline panel and when I reopened it, everything was gone. I imported multiple autosave files and they are all blank. The sequence is saved, but all the assets are gone. Anyone know what I did wrong? Thankfully, I already copied the files into the main project, but for future reference, what in the world? Thanks in advance.
Hello,I am new here, and I have subscribed to Adobe creative cloud for editing presentation videos for online training and courses. I see a lot of content and I would like to know which ones are applicable as tutorial and application, because what I am seeing are for social media video.Thank you for your response. Martha
Hello, since i update the program I cannot use markers on clips anymore. It's damage! There's anyone having the same problem? Anyone knows a solution? thank u
In the previous version if you clicked on the Motion tab you would get the Transform tool and you could adjust the video specs on screen. Now that Motion has moved to Properties when you click on Transform nothing happens...is there another way to do this now?
I'm working from a NAS and i noticed that rendering times are really slow for me. However other PCs working from the same NAS and in the same project don't experience those slow rendering speeds. Tried uploading and downloading speeds for the NAS, but they seem normal for everyone, including me. Its just when i start rendering (on Premiere Pro) when the network shows chunk loading, then no data transfer for 2-3 seconds, then again transferring a chunk of data for a moment and so on. Again, other PCs in the same network don't experience this issue.I already checked Windows firewall, Cache Files are stored locally on a fast drive and when rendering the project from local, i don't have any issues. Am i overlooking something obvious or has anyone any idea for a fix? System is Windows 10 Pro, latest update, Premiere version is 24.6.1
I have a Premiere Pro project file that I have been working on for some months without issue. Two days ago I decided to edit one clip from the project in After Effects to speed ramp a shot. Since then, Premiere Pro crashes each time I open the file. I have tried the following: deleting all After Effects clips used and replacing with original footage, uninstalling and reinstalling Premiere Pro, updating my Mac OS, creating new projects and importing the old projects (which works until it comes time to export, then it crashes again). Has anyone experienced this or something similar? Thanks
Cannot use Adobe Dynamic Link to import AE comp to Premiere in newest update
I need to go to an abandoned school and record video of the hallways and rooms. I want to turn that video into video that looks like "ghost hunter" video. Anybody know how to do this? Thanks.
I'm using Macbook pro and running Bootcamp with Windows 10 operating system (specs: MBP 2020, 2.3GHz, Core i7, 16GB RAM) Starting today, every time I start Premiere Pro (or Rush), the entire computer shuts down. This happens at the loading splash screen. This only happens on Windows side, the programs work fine on Mac O/S. When I boot to Mac, I see an error that the computer was shut down unexpectedly and the following error:panic(cpu 0 caller 0xfffffff01526a04c): "Digital Mic::allocateBuffers attempting to release/re-allocate DMA buffer while DMA is streaming." @AppleARMDMAAudioDevice.cpp:1607Debugger message: panicMemory ID: 0x6OS release type: UserOS version: 19P744macOS version: Not setI found this post in Apple support which says it's a memory issue related: https://discussions.apple.com/thread/252446847The only major update I recently did was Windows 10 21H2.Things I tried so far:Uninstalled Premiere/Rush > rebooted > reinstalled the latest version
Hi Mathias. I thought I would start a new thread based on the amazing solution you and Henrique helped me with for exporting all text out of Premiere: https://community.adobe.com/t5/premiere-pro-discussions/automation-blocks-exporting-text-from-all-sequences-to-spreadsheet/m-p/14894802#M531702I am sooo close to a nearly fully automated solution for translating text in Adobe Premiere. I am struggling now to reimport the text from the spreadsheet we created. I have been using the "Update Texts of Ae Mogrt with Spreadsheet" template as my base. I modified it to look at just video tracks and removed the detailed analysis block. (I did this in hopes of making things run faster). For some reason when I run the script for all sequences the script hangs, or it takes a very very long time? If I run the script for individual sequences at a time then it works within a minute if not seconds. I'm not sure if I am approaching this problem correctl
Hi Mathias, I wanted to continue our conversation from aescripts.com here on the forums. Thank you for providing me with this updated code block image. You were spot on to have the template block for exporting clip data embeded into the "For each sequence" block. It took me a while to get it to work but eventually got it to a place where I could export all the data for the selected sequences. Couldn't seem to get it to work as a Bin and Sub Bins option. I don't mind selecting the sequences though. The challange I am now facing is the time it takes to export all the clip data in those sequences. With only 3 sequences selected (out of 8), the export to .csv took 29 minutes. I feel like I'm missing something. My concern is the sheer amount of data i'm pushing from all these clips is irrelevant. All I really want to be able to do is export the text only from all the AE Mogrts in a project to a .CSV, Then I can translate and

Hi everyone. I recently had to perform a re-install of Windows. I thought I had everything backed up in a Team project, but it looks as though when I re-open the project and relink/locate all of the clips and media there are still numerous .aegraphic files that were created in the user document folder now lost. I have all of the original .mogrt files. I believe I read that .aegraphic files are just the .mogrt file + metadata. Is there a way to restore the motion graphics elements of a sequence if I have the original .mogrt file or do I have to delete these elements and start over?I found this discussion which I 'think' is the same. When I Alt-drag and drop the original .mogrt unto a broken element, it didn't work. Is there any way to repair these broken elements?
Premiere Pro Timeline Lag: How to solve this issue where the timeline lags!I sure have not idea of how to fix this actually. The title implies something positive so hope it will be 🙂Please watch my .mov-file
Hi,I've spent the past 6 hours working on various projects in Premier, and all of a sudden, it won't let me move clips in Timeline.I've:- used the [alt]+App Restart & cleared my settings (RIP😢), and my media cache. That did not work.- restarted the Premier program, multiple times. That did not work.- shut down my PC. waited a few seconds, and turned it back on. That did not work.- Checked for Adobe updates (there weren't any). That did not work.- Restarted my project in a completely new project file. That did not work.Any one have any proven-useful and actually effective solutions?Considering this is apparently an old bug, it would be really great if the devs fixed this. This is a major program-breaking bug that basically renders the entire program useless if you can't move clips around.Thanks.
1.Adobe Premiere Pro 24.6.1 (also happens in Adobe Premiere 2023)2. AMD Radeon 7800XT, 30 gig ram, AMD 9, 5900x 12-core, Windows 10 (latest update)3. Restarting Premiere starts the issue. The issue: For a few weeks, half of my timeline suddenly becomes corrupt, the audio plays, but no footage. It's just black, if i wait like 20 seconds, i do get a single frame where i left it but nothing else. I installed a older version of Premiere Pro 23 to see if it happens here. There as well.I thought it was my drivers being unstable, so i went back with a full driver cleanup using DDU to a stable driver i had back in April. It made no difference. I reset the program's references using Shift when starting the program, also the other options to start one time without any plugns, made no difference. What does work every time, is cleaning out the entire cache after i started up Premiere. Than the videos work again, until i start the program again after a day and it suddenly is c
I have a historical doc I'm cutting and we've begun to license archival footage. The majority of it is 29.97 and our timeline is 23.98. For the most part the footage looks good, but sometimes when I cut it in it looks stuttery and exports the same way. But it plays fine when I watch the files in the source monitor and in Quicktime. When I go frame by frame in my timeline it seems that every frame is duplicated. I'm attaching the specs of the footage and the specs of our timeline. I'm guessing I need to convert this footage in some ways but curious if anyone has experienced this before.
Help me with enabling cep extensions. I can't see them. The only extensions i can see are downloaded from stock marketThank you!
After today's disastirous 2025 updates made Premiere unusable, I did a Win 11 'system restore' to yesterday's status with the intention of re-updating Adobe next week rather than uninstalling and losing all my custom settings. This restore didn't put Adobe back to yesterday's status. Instead, I've got 2024 & 2025 copies of all my software - none of which will open!! Technical issue: CC doesn't collaberate with Windows 11 system restore, it's like my C drive has been through a food processor.
A strange thing happened. Bloggers out there and different tech resources had announced that Premiere Pro version 25 was out and available for download. My Creative cloud app says the latest version is my current 24.6.1. Meanwhile 2 (TWO!) days ago v25 started to appear on torrents. How come? Why do pirates already have the new version and I - who pays monthly - don't? What's the catch? This might have been a sudden CC app update glitch, but I asked my fellow collegues and they don't have an update in their licensed CC apps either.
