I can't seem to export a 11 minute video without premiere crashing. It starts to export then after like 3 minutes it just freezes then kicks me out of the program. I Tried doing all the steps of like deleting old media cache files, and that other stuff, but it won't stop. I've even tried just exporting segments at a time, but even exporting like 4 minutes of the video won't work. I have enough storage on my pc, i'm just so lost. I want to install an older version of premiere pro, but i don't know if my project will save to there if i delete premiere and then install an older version. I'm just so lost

Anyone gotten Scene Edit Detection working? On my PC, I've tried a variety of media and scene edit detection simply does it's Analyzing, then nothing. No cuts, no edits.   On Windows 10, Premiere v14.4.0 (Build 38)    

i need some help regarding premiere -- so i basically have ryzen 5 3600 with rtx 3060, 16 gb ram and im facing issues with premiere rgarding the app itself cuz it freezes in a project after editing of like 1-2 mins, its not the problem with playback but the app itself freeezes and if i try to open any window it doesnt like it completely stops

I've been using Adobe Premiere on a project I've been working on since June 2024 with noo problems until now in August. Just this week all of sudden the program had started to lag and now crashes everytime I try to edit (can only about 5 mins before it crashes). I don't even get a warning, the program doesn't take the command of me even simply dragging clips around. It freezes and crashes the whole mac without warning and I have to start the mac back up. I tried updating my mac to Sonoma 14.6.1 and Premiere Pro to the latest 24.6 versions and that has not helped solve the problem. The only plugin I had was NeatVideo which I uninstalled to try and alleviate the problem, but didn't help. I tried copying over project to new project after update. no luck. Running out of ideas. This just started happening all of a sudden this month and I have never experienced this in the 10 years working with the program...  Any thoughts on what's going on? MacBook Pro 2019Processor 2.3Ghz 8-core

Could the clip number be automatically added as a watermark in premiere? I'm creating an MP4 with multiple clips for people to scroll through, and I want them to easily identify each clip by its number. It seems like I can only add the clip number manually for each clip, but I have a lot of clips and would prefer to automate the process to make it more efficient.

Mask does not line up to where i masked, almost like it scales off the middle, help me!

I shoot legal videos that need the accurate date/time burned into the footage. Is there a way to do this in PP? I'm not talking about timecode. I need running date/time stamp!

I wonder if the Auto Tone Mapping (e.g. the color space transform from SLog3/S-Gamut3.Cine to Rec709 with tone mapping) before or after the Lumetri Color Controls? I should be after the lumetri controls. Can anyvody confirm this? ThanksFrank

Im working on a large project and looking to create multiple sequences in as few clicks as possible. I have my footage categorized into bins such as Start, Middle, End. I would like to be able to create as many unique permutations as possible from the footage. So lets say I have 5 clips of each type, that would be 125 versions. For example...Start Footage 1, Middle Footage 1, End Footage 1Start Footage 2, Middle Footage 1, End Footage 1 Etc. Until all possible variations are created. I think I need a script/plugin or extension. Is there anything like this?

Hello. I just discovered the alternate views in my Clip Bins and I'm loving it. In case I'm not being clear, I took a long vid and pulled clips from it, then dragged those clips from the timeline into a new bin in my Project Panel. Then I changed the view so they're nice big icons with a still of the beginning of the clip so I can identify them easily. Only problem is, if my cursor grazes or wanders into the actual frame above the clip info (name and duration) it scrubs to a different point in the full video. When I open the clip in the source monitor and then drag it to the timeline, it's still just the clip, which is fortunate, but it's aggravating when I hover over a clip and if I'm not very delicate, the preview icon jumps to a different point in the full video and then I've got to deselect and go to another clip just to get it to revert back to the original still which helps me identify. Please excuse the rambling nature of this, but if I could just have the clips not scrub when I

When I create a Type/Text object and click in the program window to edit the text it jumps out of program and into Timeline and I can't type anything. When I go to essential graphics and try to highlight the new type box I can't edit it. This new update is complete garbage I've been dealing all week, but this function is completely gone.

So im having an issue, my computer is up to date and so are all my apps, i didn't have any issues until this recent update. but everytime i use the TEXT tool i start to type and then it switches to all the other key binds and tools for no reason. before when i would use the TEXT tool i can type freely, no issues. now i click the TEXT tool and when i hit any letter it switches from TEXT tool to other tools. Any advice? 

Im on AP version 24.4.1.  At my work everyone logs into their own widows computer with their own login and password.  They also have their own Adobe log in and password.  I have 3 coworkers that when they log into thier machine and then into their Adobe account and open premiere and select a project in a production,  the project lock switchwes to show that it is locked with my email account.  Im not associated in any way on their computer.  The only thing I can think of is back in the day when you used to be able to sync user settings, they downloaded mine as a starting template for them but then saved them as their own.  Yet it still shows up as if I opened the project in the production.  Any Idea why this would be happening?

Running the latest version (not beta) of PP on an M2 Macbook Air running the latest MacOS.  (I had (and STILL have) this SAME PROBLEM on a Windows 11 machine).The only files I see (as far as I can tell) in the media window are IMAGES - no videos - well, not MP4's.  This particular MP4 was a short video taken on my Pixel 6 Pro. Yes, I have ALL compatible files selected.

I despise this program and use it as a last resort. Spark it up to Adobes large size and continued ineptitude.Current problem, I have 1857 images names CLIP 01_000002.jpg etc...I am not able to get Premiere to select the image sequence to create an animation. It will select the first image, but will not import the entire set. I never had these issues with the 2022 releases and prior. Since 2023 this program, like adobe in general has taken a dump on its users. Any ideas?

I among many many others have had this problem for some time. It's completely random, it sometimes comes at 1% render and sometimes after 99%, or any place in between. I've been on support chat like ten times, and had the senior team call me about five times, I've done everything they suggested (they often suggest the same thing although I try to explain that I've already tried it), so finally I gave up on support and spent a couple of days trying to figure it out myself. What I found out, that works 100% for me, is going back to an older version of Media Encoder. The new fast hardware accelerated rendering was introduced in version 14.2. Using the Windows Task Manager, I noticed that version 14.2, 14.3 and 14.4 uses both CPU & GPU. What's a little strange is that it uses about 90% CPU & about 10% GPU. From version 14.5 and onward, Media Encoder uses about 30% CPU and 45% GPU, and it's from this version and up that the rendering fails. I don't have a good explant

Hi there!  I've never had this issue before (and of course this happens on delivery day). I was editing my project last night and all of a sudden bars have appeared over all the footage/audio. I'm editing on a MacBook Pro.  I've tried: Replacing footage from source monitor, match frame Option/Shift and drag single clip from bin to replace clip on timeline (nothing changes) Importing into new project Reinstalling Adobe Premiere  I've attached an image below for reference. Any assistance would be appreciated as it is due to client today.  Thanks in advance for any tips/suggestions.  

     Im new to premire pro and im wondering how I can insert a clip in between other clips without the program automatically deleting the one next to it. Im also wondering how to slow down a clip or make a clip longer when its in front of another clip without the clip next to it getting affected. 

I accidentally clicked on "do this from now on" when it asked if I wanted to "ingore the source outpoint", when laying a clip into a timeline.How do I undo this default?!?

A while ago I noticed that my footage was taking absolute ages to stabilize using warp stabilizer in Premiere Pro. Only yesterday I realised this was happening ever since I switched to the HLG gamma in my Sony FX3. I noticed that AE has no problem stabilizing said footage. A comparison:- 250 frames of HLG footage in PP take 9 minutes to stabilize- 250 frames of HLG footage in AE take 45 seconds to stabilizeWe're talking about a staggering 12x difference. Every other gamma (Movie/Cine/S-log3) flies through warp stabilizer in PP without any problem. Since it's only a problem in PP and not in AE I assume it's a bug. Is this something that I'd be able to fix on my end or is it a limitation of PP? 

Why would this happen at all?It makes no sense that using the mask now also feathers the edges of my layer -_-This premiere pro version has just been riddled with the most weird bugs I hope 2020 is better. Anyone know of anyway to fix this?Tried in the attached image, placed the mask OUTSIDE the image, used feather, and the image is still feathering. Why Adobe -_-

I have a Macbook air M1 and my premiere pro started having some issues on playback and previews. So the project I was editing suddently stopped working and I couldn't see any previews or media, and the payback won't run. Sometimes I could listen the music but no images running and couldn't stop.I tried many things such as cleaning media cache, reset app preferences, relink media, cleaning disk space, install all updates requested... Now things got worst because my premiere doens't even open. It crashes straight. I don't know what to do and why this is happening?

Hey all, I am working on a project with my students. We would like to work at our separate locations. We can all get the premiere project file itself. But we cannot access the clips that are all over one students' computer. I've researched to use the "Project Manager" but it is grayed out. So I cannot export or do any of the other tricks I've seen while researching. Please help. Thank you.
