Opened Premiere as I do every day and today my list of current projects was gone. The entire list... GONE. I went to every backup folder I had; a few I didn't know existed and there was nothing. No backup. Projects gone that I have been working on for the past three weeks. I did find this was a known bug in the past with NO solution. I spoke to a tech person at Adobe today and nothing. He had no clue and neither did any of the staff. I'm losing clients and you are still getting my money.  Help or I'll just go to Davinci.

Hello, I was trying to upload a video created on Adobe to Instagram and i noticed that the color was changing noticeably. Can anyone suggest how to sort this issue out?Thanks.

Hallo 🙂Ich habe in Premiere Pro CC ganz normal ein Projekt erstellt.Die Leiste mit den Aufnahmen im Schnittfenster war ganz normal.In den Medien an der Seite hat es jedoch keine der üblichen Sequenzen angezeigt, die dann die benutzte Datei nochmals mit einem kleinen blauen Kästchen anzeigt. Das war an sich kein Problem. Jetzt habe ich jedoch aus Versehen auf schließen und nicht auf speichern gedrückt.Alles was ich zusammen geschnitten hatte, ist weg.Ich finde auch keine Sequenz, wie es hier manche schon schreiben. Ebenso ist der Arbeitsbereich zurück gesetzt worden. Immer noch ncihts. Auch eine ältere Version der Datei zeigt die timeline leer an, wenn ich sie öffne.Ich hoffe mir kann jemand helfen. Die Datei an sich wurde ja gespeichert und kann nicht einfach weg sein. Vielen Dnak vorab.Liebe Grüße,Hanna

Plugins are in the Common/MediaCore folder but only a few show up when I use CC2015.  This is not good as the installer removed CC2014.  I need a fix ASAP!  Windows 8.1 64bit2 - Xeon CPUs E5-2650 2.00 Ghz64 GB RAMK5600 Nvidia Quadro6000 Nvidia Quadro7 TB SASPlugins not showing:Red Giant UniverseLooksNewBlue II,III, IV, VPluraleyesETC.

I downloaded a free mogrt here (https://mixkit.co/free-premiere-pro-templates/inverted-banner-title-84/), and when I use it and export it, it's flickering and glitching. Help please. Thank you. 

How to mask text and how to file a complaint. 

Hello, I have been having this issue for awhile on Premiere Pro 13, when I go to export a project by clicking File>Export>Export Media or using the ctl+m shortcut, the dialogue box lags for a 10-15 seconds and shows "not responding" on the top of the window before opening. This will also happen when changing settings in the dialogue box. When I was using Premiere 12 this issue was not apparent, I am not sure what has happened. Editing and exporting work fine after all the settings are changed. CPU and Memory usage stays below 20%, while this is occurring. I realize that this is not a major issue, but it is an annoyance I was wondering if anyone had an ideas to fix. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling Premiere and Adobe Cloud. Hi Guys! so this video looks to dark for us because of the light sources - I wanted to ask if you guys got any clue on how to switch the light effects up in order for it to don't look so dark? Thank you so much! ~Alex  

I'm working with some 1080p footage in a 1080p sequence and when I apply the Noise effect to the footage the left and right sides of the footage in the Program monitor suddenly disappear? If I remove the effect, they reappear again.Effect off.Effect on. I've also noticed if I Scale the footage down using the mouse slider left/right, once it hits 50% Scale the missing sides of the footage reappear again but disappear once I release the mouse. If I use a mask on the Noise effect, the missing parts of the image only disappear within the active mask area as shown in this image:  This feels like a bug to me? Unless there's a setting or reason for this? My workaround now is to add an adjustment layer and appy the noise effect to that, which achieves the same end result. But I shouldn't have to do this if this bug wasn't present.

We are editing on Sony Fx6 (MXF) and Sony Fx3 (mp4) media (4K) with sound in the clips (not external).Fx6 (8 channels/24bit) Fx3(1 channel/16bit). The footage was delievered only by single clips, not the full CARD Memory Data and Folders (as ususal). After successfully editing a first rough cut and shutting down the system, we end up having danger stripes in 90% of our clips in the timeline. The fault clips then always start with the very beginning of each clip. We try to fix it multiple ways:1. Putting Media offline and re-linking (Deselect "Align Timecode")2. Putting Media offline and re-linking (Select "Align Timecode")3. Now we started to use Media Encoder to produce new video clips with reset Timecode (00:00:00) But option 3 is very burdensome. We have to start the edit all over. We suspect it has someting to do with the Metadate/Timecode of the clips.Is there any idea how to save the project? Thanks!   

Hello, I'm sure this is already being widely talked about but i'd like to share my experience. I work on both a Windows pc (RTX 3060 Ryzen 5 3600 16GB RAM) and also a Macbook (M2 Pro 16GB RAM 1TB SSD)  The issues started on my Mac. I updated to Premier Pro (24) and I started having massive issues where I wouldnt be able to edit my project without 4-6 seconds of pinwheel after every action.  This included simple actions like dropping subtite text by a line or adding a preset effect to a video. I got quite annoyed at this as its for a student project which is due soon so I used a downgrading service and started using the 23 versions. I went through a couple (23.6) (23.4) (23 - this one still lags but not for as long roughly 2 - 4 seconds) They all still lagged. I thought it might be my Mac but its pretty much box fresh as of two weeks ago so I doubt it.  As well as this I put my Mac aside and thought maybe my windows pc would be better (ive edited 10+ projec

Hi everyone. I'm just starting to use Premiere Pro. My build is a Ryzen 3600, 32gb ddr4 @2400mhz, 2070, running on a nvme. I captured my footage using shadowplay and obs, both around 100mbps to 130mbps bitrate. Thing is (and no matter what video or quality) I'm getting some very loud screeching/noises at - seemingly - random moments in the premier playback. Normal playback using MPC runs just fine. Look: Also, here's my audio settings:   Notice how the noise only comes from the left side... I tried using various sound effects but nothing helped - except dynamic processing, but it only muted the left channel at every spike, so not ideal I would say. So... any help is appreciated. Hey everyone,I recently subscribed to Adobe Creative Cloud and installed Premiere Pro. After installation, I get an error asking me to allow the app under Change Privacy & Security Settings. However, Premiere Pro doesn’t show up in the list, so I can’t grant the necessary permissions.I’ve tried the following without success:Uninstalling and reinstalling Premiere Pro (3 times)Installing different versions of Premiere ProI’m using a MacBook Pro 2018 running macOS Sonoma 14.6.1.Has anyone experienced this or know how to fix it?  Hi , I'm using Preimeire's QE API to cut tracks like this:qe.project.getActiveSequence().getVideoTrackAt(0).razor(mytimecode); qe.project.getActiveSequence().getAudioTrackAt(0).razor(mytimecode); However, this unlinks the audio and video tracks. Is there method to re-link the tracks? I know you can do it in the normal API, but there is no method in QE to setSelection first Thanks

hi,I've been asked to burn subtitles on a video but i'm having the hardest time.i have a separate mp4 video file and a separate subtitle file in the format of .paci have no problem to import the Video but i'm unable to with the subtitles file. does anybody have a solution for that? i have the files only in .pac and unable to ask for another format.thank you,sapir

How do I revert back the colors for the waveform back to the original

Dear All, I imported an intro video into adobe premiere. If I play the audio alone, it is fine. But when putting it with the video on the timeline it is slower and gets interrupted. I seached a lot and didn't find a solution.Thanks a lot for every help!

This is a small bug, but it is annoying and it is time-consuming to resolve.  The software does a good job of transcribing but the issue I have is: • after a period, far too often it will not capitalize the next word in a sentence.   This should be an easy fix.  There are no instances I know of where “.” should be followed by an uncapitalized word.  Please resolve.  This is a tedious problem for the user to resolve when we could be doing other things. Thanks.

I'm working on a project and the audio attatched to camera 1 plays fine inside premiere, within the source window, and outside of adobe, but when I'm in premiere and try to drag it onto my timeline, only the video / visuals show up. My gut says it's some weird setting I've overlooked. Any advice?

premiere pro getting crashed while working on mxf file format. Installed Latest version from cc even though it is getting crashed. Iam looking for a solution on this. If anyone knows help me out. I hope adobe team will look into this

I have multiple cameras and two dedicated audio tracks (green) and I want to ripple delete the green track around all the empty space where there is no corresponding video file. Does anyone have any solutions? 

I recently subscribed to Adobe Creative Cloud to learn video editing and invested in several courses. However, I’m struggling to get started with Premiere Pro. I couldn’t even rename a project after creating it and spent hours watching 13 tutorials without finding a solution. At 27, I used to be proficient in coding and picked up skills quickly, but after working in corporate environments, I feel like I’ve lost that ability to grasp new technical concepts. I’m starting to question whether I should keep pursuing video editing or if it’s time to let go of this ambition entirely. I would really appreciate your thoughts. Can someone help me understand Premier pro for like the basics so that i can coninue watching videos and learn further 

First chose modify and changed a 709 clip to HLG. Then placed it on a HLG timeline. After exporting in QuickTime HLG, the clip has correct colors in QuickTime player, but over saturated on YouTube/VLC. Have exported with different settings (kept HLG), and still plays fine on QuickTime player, and over saturated on YouTube/VLC.
