Questions

Working on some stuff for Toyota and they have their own Toyota Type font. Works fine in After Effects and Photoshop, but in Premiere only the 'Black' style is available and the rest do not appear in the effect dropdown.Any solutions? 

My Adobe Premiere Pro recently updated to 25.2.3 on Mac. They've made all these unnecessary changes, like changing the default track widths, the new color scheme makes it hard to see cuts, and made clicking on clips more difficult (if you click the wrong part you can no longer delete). I'd like to go back to the old interface – is this possible?

I often run into problems with my slow motion clips coming out choppy. The sequence is set to 30 fps and my clips are in 60 brought down to 50%. Of all the times I have run into this issue I solve it by either nesting the clip in another sequence or optimizing premiere to use more memory but this happened out of nowhere. I was in the middle of editing and every slow motion clip was working fine then all the sudden while navigating my timeline 3 clips just went choppy as you can see in the video provided. One clip whether nested or not will be choppy then the following is completely fine. I am at a loss for how to fix this if anyone can help it would save me big time, thank you. I have the premiere view where the 3rd, 6th, and 7th clips are choppy but in the other exported video provided only clip 6 is choppy. Again all of these clips were working fine before. I can only think I somehow mispressed a button and this happened with no warning, but why would premiere have a chopping hotkey.

When choosing 'Edit Original' for a Linked After Effects Composition, Aesthetic is opened / brought forward, but it is not showing the right Composition, as expected.   MacOS 15.4Premiere Pro 25.3.0/84After Effects 25.3.2/2

Does anyone know if there is a way to restrict the subclips (sorry... subSEQUENCES) you pull from a multicam sequence to just the ins/outs just as you can with a single source clip?Honestly, the convoluted way Premiere Pro approaches subclipping (sorry... subSEQUENCING), in general, is beyond frustrating.  But in this case, I have many multicam interview clips that I need to pull bites from.  My workflow in Avid has always been to subclip and organize bites into bins based on topic (I don't think i am alone in this practice).But, Premiere Pro will not allow the subclips (sorry....subSEQUENCES) I pull from my master interview multicam sequence to be limited to the mark in and out of each bite.  So, if I lose my marks for any reason, the subSEQUENCE becomes just another instance of the original multicam sequence. I've gotten into the habit of at least putting a marker at my in point as a way to get to the head of the bite should the marks get changed... but, I mean...

I'm new to Premiere Pro. I was able to create a project with video clips from a recent trip. Every time I try to edit the project (delete clips, etc.) it will crash the program. I'm ready to quit, but if anyone has any advice it would be much appreciated. I already ran the program that makes sure that my system is compatible.Thank you!

I am totally confused. Edit > Edit Original doesn't open/launch the AE project and doesn't seem to work anymore. Yes, I know you can edit the original from within AE. I'd like it to work again in Premiere Pro.   Mod note: The title was changed to reflect your issue. The post was edited for clarity.

Hello everyone. I've been working on a project forever now, an hour long documentary, and as of recently I'm now unable to open the project file. When I try opening the file, the message reads "an unknown error occured while opening the project".  I've already tried several potential solutions, such as opening an autosave file, restarting my computer, importing the project into a new project... all of which have not worked. Still the same error.  Is the entire project now corrupt? Is it possible to fix this? If so, how can I go about doing so? I'd really hate to lose months and months of work and start over.  Thank you!

I'm using macOS Sequoia and Version 25.4.0 of Premiere and all the audio in my project is a mess and so difficult to listen to, I can't be the only one surely. All the tracks on A1 in my sequence have a really strange reverb on them. The original audio in Finder is perfect and crisp with no reverb at all. On top of that, my music tracks in this projects sound terrible and jarring, with most of the audio (but not all) coming out of my right ear even when both channels are selected. There is also loads of ducking happening, again, without there being any ducking enabled in Essential Sound. Where music and voiceovers tend to blend together in my edits, every time the music volume raises a bit, the voiceover goes so quiet to the point where it's almost impossible to hear anything. I'm aware I'm probably going to be asked for screenshots, but I have no idea what to show you as there's nothing to see, everywhere I've looked there's nothing applied. After weeks of trouble shooting my problems with a project, my IT friend and I have come to the conclusion that the project file itself is most likely corrupt.  And trust me we have been very thorough and explored every avenue.  Have you guys run across this before and if so is there a fix?

Hi there, I have Premiere Pro running on my Mac Studio in my home studio and on my Macbook Pro when I travel. A month ago I upgraded both machines to PPRO 25.3. While on a remote job, I discovered a known issue loading MTS files where the audio becomes loud white noise. The recommendation is to revert to PPRO 25.2 for now. I am now back in my home studio and I need to revert my Mac Studio to 25.2, but I cannot find a link to this version of the software anywhere. Can someone please point me to a link where I can download Premiere Pro 25.2? I have an edit of 30 mins long; 500 PremierPro generated (then manual proofread corrected) Caption lines.Unfortunately I didnt realise the IMPORT of captions/transcript needs to be SRT format aand I EXPORTED as TXT format to my translation colleague.He did his job fine but returned to me in a format where the timecode is as I sent it out (TXT) not the correct import format (SRT). English -->Vietnamese.The problem is not just TXT to SRT file format but the timecode differences in format.NB. I am interested in purchasing some LUTs form an established filmmaker, but his website says the following: "Gamut LUTs are designed primarily for Rec709, the standard color space for most displays. If you’re working in Log, you can use our BaseLUTs to convert from Log to Rec.709 before applying any creative LUTs."  My question is whether Rec709 is recognizable within PR if I start out using S-Log when filming?  Newbie trying to understand all the nuances to LUTs and the softwrae on my Sony A7IV.  Thanks in advance for your answers.

I can't remember a time when premiere pro consistently retained my keyboard shortcuts. It acts as if it saves my customizations, but whenever I try to load one of my saved settings, it suddenly is just the default. It is truly so frustrating. I feel like I'm going to lose my mind if I need to reprogram my keyboard shortcuts for another time. My version is up to date - so what gives, Adobe?

Hi Guys, I have been using Premiere only for 2 days and now already it wont open anymore since Adobe "cannot check the status of the subscription". It asks me if I have an internet connection and I obviously do, otherwise I wouldnt post here...Im not sure what version Im using, but I guess its the latest as I downloaded it just 2 days ago.It was working just fine until yesterday afternoon.Has anyone encountered the same issue?Thanks!

I have been trying to use the Enhance Speech feature on Premiere pro to help make my work videos sound a lot more professional.  I have noticed in a couple of videos that when I use the Enhance Speech effect on some of these clips it will randomly add in sounds, or repeat what the subject has said off time. It is making the effect unusable for me because its difficult to actively listen to sometimes 30 minute clips looking for hiccups, under my time crunch. Has anyone else experienced this? I am using Premiere Pro v24.3.0 on a 2023 Mac Studio.

I'm posting in the Premiere Pro community because you all deal with videos, but I do not use Premiere Pro... yet, or any specific video editing software.  I have thousands of family and community videos from iphone, go-pro, and early sony digicam.  I love being creative with my photos, I use Lightroom Classic and Photoshop, and want to start doing the same with all my videos, but first I have to organize them, and tag them with the people names, places, and events they each contain. Which program is best for that?  Thank you in advance for your help.

I added a single rectangle mask to a video (no other masks). I could see the video inside the rectangle, but not outside (expected). I want this mask to fade in, so I set keyframes, then set the first keyframe to 0% opacity. The video inside the mask  disappeared. As if I was changing the actual video opacity. I double-checked. I was changing the mask opacity. What am I doing wrong?

Hi,When I export my video it looks VASTLY different than the preview with the color corrections I've made, and the quality of the video is quite poor. I've seen some different posts about how the preview function doesn't match Apple's resolution settings but these look like minor differences with the video. Mine looks terrible and totally blasted out. Here are the steps I went through:1. Color corrected the video in the main editing window. I'm using a Lut that is supposed to help with color correction.2. Rendered the video.3. Exported the video with the following settings:- Adaptive Medium Bitrate- H.264Am I not doing something right in my export?
