Good morning, looking for some help...I am new to Premiere Pro and I have a video that was shot, but the captions were added in another program that I don't have and when they were generated, they were all messed up with spelling errors, etc. Rather than reshoot the video (I don't have the original prior to captioning), I'd like to caption over what's there currently.From what I understand, I would go to the Captions and Graphics workspace, but in my software, these are separate. And there is no option for transcribing or Speech to Text and I can only manually add captions, which may take forever. Any ideas on where I can find the option or why my set up is not showing it as an option? My software is up-to-date, so I'm at a loss.Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I dont see anything in the time line but the clip shwen in the program window

I have a Dell 8940, with an i9 processor, and an Nvidia RTX 3060 GPU.  Would going to a newer Nvidia GPU improve speed? The GPU i am looking at is the RTX 4070

Hello. community, Abobe Premiere version 24.6.0 BETA (Build 30)Mac OS Sonoma 14.4.1 Notice that now I can not resize the image and choose which part of the image I want to see in the Program window.  For exemple, I increase the image in 400% and need to check if my Graphics are well align. But Premiere only allow my to see one part of the image. Like I want to see the top of the image and can not go to the top. I don't know if I make myself clear. So I am going to upload some prints. The image bellow my clipe is fitting all the window Next image I increase the image in 400% and need to go to the top, but can not go. Can not find the tool to go to the top? Where is it?  Thanks a lot.

Hi, I've noticed that when using Premiere Pro (BETA), zooming in and out using the mouse wheel is very unresponsive in regards to being able to zoom in to the location of the cursor. On the public build of Premiere Pro, the timeline zooms very smoothly and seamlessly to the location of the cursor. However, on BETA, the zoom is incredibly clunky, often doesn't zoom into the cursor, and you really have to exaggerate the location of the mouse to zoom in a certain direction.  Many thanksAndy

The "Essential Graphics" panel has been changed to "Graphics Template" and doesn't provide the option to edit the texts or anything. Where has it been moved to?

Can we get a log exposure and temperature/tint sliders BEFORE the first input lut in Lumetri ? This way we can adjust the exposure before any luts, and still use all the basic tools after and creative luts. Currently Im using the creative lut as the input lut, so exposure can be adjusted before, then having to apply a second lumetri to adjust all the basic controls after.

I'm on a 1920x1200 screen and these appear super soft/low res compared to previous versions 

Hi. Just installed to try the current Beta (to compare) and did't find the Properties in the timeline footage right click menu. Is it a bug or the Properties are gonna vanish from the timeline context menu in the further stable updates?In the Beta the Properties are only available in the Project bin right click menu.  Really liked the new interface - it's a bomb!   Mod note: The title was changed slightly.

When transition have been applied and track is collapsed at max (minimized) the transition is no longer visible on the timeline in this new design. This behavior is very inconvenient. Botton screenshot shows 2023.    

Can we get a gain control on the audio waveform similar to the new crossfade control?The same as the one already in adobe audition.Currently we can only turn up audio gain by pressing gain and dialing in a db value, or by turning up the volume level which havens post effects and doesnt show on the waveform. Having to round trip to audition to this at the moment.

Not all of us work in a dark environment.

The video is fine when i am editing, but when I try to export it, it comes out super bright and I can not seem to fix it. It is very frustrating 

I'm using Premiere Pro Beta, version 24.6.0 BETA (build 2), and encountering numerous issues with lagging and glitches in the Program Monitor. The glitches typically appear after 20 to 30 minutes of starting the software, rather than at the beginning. Additionally, after exporting from a rendered timeline, the result is full of glitches - please refer to the attached images. My original footage is in 4K, and the project involves a significant number of effects, primarily Lumetri Colors. Furthermore, I have a film grain footage overlaying the entire timeline, which raises the question if this could be the issue for glitches in the export, however the gliteches appear in Program Monitor even when the track with footage is off.  I'm using a MacBook Pro (16-inch, 2019) with an 8-core Intel Core i9 processor and 32 GB of RAM, which should be sufficient for the task. Hi, The new timeline clips are looking great so far imo. Very well suited for modern darkUI workflows.However, the clip labels still pose the exact same issues the previous design has which is text readability when using custom colors. It's just the opposite now, bright colors make the white text 'disappear' rather than dark the black text on the old design.It's great that we have the freedom to change label names and colors but our choices shouldn't be affected by this flaw. We need a mechanic in place that automatically changes the clip text to either white or black depending on the brightness of the clip's color. Something that's very common in DAWs. I would imagine that code implementation wise this doesn't need to be a live detect thing, just a one time check coming from the label preferences, and stored permenantly until updated by a new color. Hope we can see some improvements on this soon.

I'm trying out Text Based Editing in Premiere on the Beta branch and have run into an issue. I transcribed the whole sequence and then made it a static transcription so I could assign Speakers correctly. But now, there's no way to just go in and delete a single Speaker like I want to since the button is greyed out. And when I click the button to redo it for text based editing, my whole app crashes (repeatedly). I think it may have something to do with the fact that I cut out all of the silence and umms, so now there's like a thousand edits and it is treating each as its own little file instead of the original 4 files it was at first. This also means I can't really do any Source editing since there's so many files (at least, I don't think?). Any ideas?

Colour correction/grading is a part of almost every video editing project. I think Lumetri as a necessary colour tool should always be included in any clip loaded onto the timeline. It may not be used but it is super helpful when it is already pre-loaded. The same applies to defaults like Motion or Opacity. They are not always needed but because of how necessary they are, it is very handy to have them already loaded.

Hey guys I'm having troubles with cinema grade on premiere pro windowsI create my colour grade and corrections in the plugin but when I close the plugin and go back to premiere to view the footage the grade does not apply Then when I open back up cinema grade on the same clip I find my work has vanished and iv to start again only to end in the same results I need help please does anyone have any solutions?  

When I opened the Bta release of 24.5, I was immediately struck by how quickly the project opened, the proxies relinked and the media appeared in my timeline. (Especially since I run my media on a NAS which I know I pay a small speed penalty for).All this and a beautiful new, sharp interface to boot. Happy editor. 😊

Hi I can't download the Dutch Language pack in PP beta. If I press the cloud icon, PP doesn't react so the transcription isn't comming true. In V2024 it was no problem the langauge pack is installed. Can you help me?
