 Hi everyone,I just got my new MacBook Pro M4Pro today, and I was really looking forward to finally using Adobe Substance Stager smoothly. I installed the entire Adobe suite on my MacBook today, but it seems like a disaster so far.Substance Stager has crashed or completely frozen at least 15 times today, and there were moments where I had to force restart my entire computer because the program wouldn’t even close. It’s incredibly frustrating, especially since I invested a lot of money in this fully-equipped MacBook.Has anyone else experienced similar issues? Are there any settings I might have missed or anything I should check?I’d really appreciate any help or advice on how to fix this.Thanks in advance!Eco

Hi everyone,I’ve encountered an issue in Adobe Substance Stager while trying to apply a photo as a texture to a surface. Instead of projecting the photo onto the surface as a single image, it’s being repeated multiple times in a mosaic pattern of small tiles (see attached images).The black surface represents the original material, and the lighter one shows the unintended mosaic result.Does anyone know how to resolve this and ensure the image is projected correctly, covering the surface as a single texture?I’d really appreciate any advice!Thanks in advance.Attachments:Original black surface (correct material setup).Lighter surface with mosaic pattern (incorrect result).The Original Picture Id like to project on the dark surface

Hello, i imported a mirrorball in stager and wanted to have the light spots reflected on the wall and environment. As many settings as i tried this seems impossble and i dont undesrtand why. Can someone please confirm it is a limitation or give any tip how to achieve it?Here i atach how it looks in stager vs what i want

I launch stager and it instantly crashes. Sometimes it works and I get a lot done on a file and then i save and close. But then later I start up the app and open the same file, then app crahes instantly. It started out crashing after 2 min then 1 and now inatantly. I have the latest version and I've even uninstalled an reinstalled, and even tried a version back. I might have to go to a whole version older and see if it keeps happening. But I doubt it's going to help. Any ideas anyone?

Hi! I'm not good at 3d at all or stager at all. I previously (a year or two ago) used dimensions to make photo light boxes, backlit photos that glow. I don't really remember how, but I think I used to make a square with the glowing material and then sandwich a thin square (box) with the glass material in front of the glowing material, and the add a photo as a decal on the glass surface. I've just spent 6hours trying to figure out how to do it again in stager but I can't get the photo to emitt light. The decal is just dead and opaque no matter what I do, do any one here have any tips or suggestions? Think making a backlit sign with a photo on it, how would you do it? I don't have the time to learn blender at the moment.

Hi I have a Mac Mini 2018 - 3.2 GHz 6-Core Intel Core i7 - the standard Intel UHD Graphics 630 1536 MB - 64 Gig RAM. Recently Stager seems to have become completely unusably slow. Not just rendering, but navigating around any scene with only simple objects and materials. There was always lag with Dimension and Stager - but it has become so poor now it is unusable. I have an established workflow and client work that needs finishing and I can't seem to open/edit any existing projects and be able to move around and edit at all. It was always a struggle, but it just seems completely impossible now. Please advise any troubleshooting steps that I might take to check its nothing I have set up incorrectly. Thanks

When are you going to add the isometric view to the cameras? 

 Hello, I'm having trouble with a model in Stager which has a material and an image applied to it. I want to be able to duuplicate the model and change the image on the duplicate. I understand that by default Stager links materials, so I've been through all the instances of the materials on both models and clicked the unlink button in the properties panels. The link button then disappears for all instances. Unfortunately the materials images still seem to be linked and changing one still alters the other. Restarting stager gives the same result. Has anyone experienced this? Many Thanks Ed

All other light sources are working besides the spot light and that is the one I need, unfortunately. Could anyone help me out?  new to these softwares.

The environment is relatively dark, so the screen with all the displayed information should emit a slight glow – just like a regular laptop screen. Does anyone have an idea how I can achieve this?Thanks and best regards!

 Hi, I am trying to place a photo on a surface in Stager. The image is shown to me on the right hand side in material and the scaling option is also shown to me, but I can't see the image on the object. Can anyone help me?

I'm using planes to make 4 sides of an overhead banner for visualization purposes. Problem is, the decal shows up on both sides of the plane and I can't find any setting that lets me just put it on one side. Any ideas of what I'm doing wrong? Thanks.

I'm trying to add lighting to my retail store project. When I started, I added some physical spot light and they worked well. But later on, when I try to add area lights, they emit no light. I tried to change the temperature, intensity, exposure etc but nothing happened. I even copied and pasted the spot light that I first added but the pasted one also doesn't emit light. Could anyone tell me what the problem is and how I can fix it?  Below is a screenshot of my scene. The emitting light sources are what I added first. None of the other sources are emitting light.

Hi everyone, I'm currently exploring Adobe Stager, and while watching some tutorials, I noticed a few parametric model assets (like the ones in the screenshot) that I don't have in my panel. I tried searching for them in the 3D library on the marketplace but couldn't find anything. I would greatly appreciate your kind help on the following questions please:Where can I find these assets?How can I import them into the Stager Models panel?Also, how can I import materials into the material panel? Thank you so much,Nada 

Hi,Can I make Generative Background create adn image which will fit the current camera position and lighting?I could try e.g. specify that "...shot taken from close to the groudn where the lght is comming from behide the scene at a low angle...." but that will never get me the the exact angel and lighting the subject is in. Can it be done, or not yet? 

STager animation circle issue on windows , latest stager versionHi community members,when animate in circle mode stager moves a few frames the object in turning mode and than goes into circle. What goes wrong?Hans

Hello all!  We have a new release today (Stager 1.0.2) which now supports emulation mode for Apple ARM (M1) devices.  We've gotten great feedback from beta testers about it's performance and really excited to bring Stager to new devices!   No timeline for native support right now, but we'll keep you posted!

I just got my new Macbook Pro M2 Max, 64 gb ram etc. Compared to my 2019 intel macbook Pro I don't feel much improvement in terms of raytracing speed. It's not based on a direct head to head test but I was expecting a significant improvement. Does anyone have similar experience? Will the render engine ever natively support M-line processors?

Just wondering what other options people are using to UV Map models in Stager outside of it's built in Auto UV feature. The results I'm getting from the Auto generated UV Map Export in Stager are just not usable without needing extensive cleanup in post. The model below is pretty much a simple box and Stager still can't create a usable UV map. I get black seams between all of the panels. I use fillets to slightly round the edges of the model so it looks more like scored and folded cover weight paper. I think just the curved edges are blowing Stagers mind. Any suggestings for a more effective UV workflow would be great. How can I stage my models in Stager and still get accurate and clean UV maps. I'm not just flooding a shape with a texture, some of the graphic placements are very specific. I need something that won't leave seams between everything. Thanks!
