I'm using RH2020.0.156 Well, this is an odd one. I have a topic that is shared between three applications (and we have four total): IC, Mobile, and Fusion (but not PG). The topic is tagged as Not_PG (meaning it will show up for IC, Mobile, and Fusion). Within the content, there are three tags: IC (only shows for IC output), Mobile_Fusion (shows for both Mobile and Fusion outputs), and Fusion (only shows for Fusion output). In all outputs, if the condition tag is included at the paragraph level instead of the character level, it's being ignored and showing up for all outputs. For example, this doesn't work, i.e. it's showing up for all outputs even though it's tagged for IC only: <p class="Note" data-condition="Others:InformaCast">Note: If you disabled the automatic import of certificates...</p> And this does work, i.e. it only shows up in the IC output: <p class="Note"><span data-condition="Others:InformaCast">Note:If

When I convert my existing Classic 2019 to the New UI RoboHelp 2019, the multi level list style does not apply to the converted project. My stylesheet converts with all of the styles defined in classic but the multilevel list style does not appear to be applied during conversion. Has anyone else encountered this? Does anyone have any idea how to fix it automatically? I have several projects to convert with many instances of multilevel lists. See one example below. I upgraded an older project to robohelp 2020. When I put my cursor in my already numbered text, the alignment option does not show up in the properties window. Only if I type in new text. Any suggestions?

I have read as many topics on this forum about it, even read Adobe's help. I am still confused how to implement context senstive help using Map IDs. I have generated them in my .h file. I have also exported my help IDs in .inc (Delphi Pascal) I am not programmer but some of my colleagues are and that's the programming language they use.  Well, we use to export help to Responsive HTML5 format, as well as its map of IDs. However, when the user clicks F1 in the software it always opens the main page (welcome page), we would like it to open in the page about each subject (when clicks F1 in "stakeholders" it will open the topic about it and so on). But from Robohelp I don't know if there is anything else we could do, or only in programmers side.  I believe there might be a way to link each topic ID to tables in Delphi. I just don't know how to solve it, because I am not programmer only technical writer. But I would like to help my workmates to make it work properly.&nbsp

Hi All, I am working on robohelp 2019 classic version. I have created several styles in my project and its a huge project with several styles such as:1. paragraph and character styles2. image styles and so on.While I was working yesterday, suddenly the newly created (2 weeks back) image styles and paragraph styles disappeared. However, I can see styles which were created 3 or 4 weeks back. I didn't recieve any error message on the screen when the styles got disappeared. Additionally, this same scenario occured with my project 3 or 4 weeks back and being unknown i did create the styles again. This scenario has occured for second time and it is too frustrating, incase I have to create styles and format whole project again! Can anyone please help me to retrive the disappeared styles. Any solution or hint would be of great help! Thanks,Nutan 

We have a specific look and feel that we have configured on a PoC project created by using RH 2020 - Frameless format. We cant other products to follow the same format. Is there a way to save a RH 2020 project as a template that others can pick up and continue?

Hi, Everyone. I'm using the RH 2020 online review feature for the first time. My reviewers have received the invitation link and have registered themselves for Adobe IDs.  But they get an error message when clicking the link:  “You can’t access this link”  I've tried both types of invitation:  Public and Invite-only. My reviewers get the same error with each type. Any advice for me? Thank you!

I upgraded a project from RH2017 to RH 2020.3.32. Now, in my word output, some of the images extend off the page. Before, in 2017, all images stayed in the margins.  Is there a default setting to make sure the images stay on the page? Is there a Max Image dimension setting? Thank you

Maybe this has been discussed, but I could not find an answer after searching.  Some of the Search URL/Breadcrumb paths are not displaying all the same way in my project.  I would like all the search result URL to display as breadcrumbs, but some are not.  I'm pretty sure this has to do with the TOC structure, but is there some kind of a workaround? I have confirmed that the files which display the filenames only are indeed in the TOC.  For all the files which display the breadcrumbs on the content page as:Home > Section The search results URL  displays the filename and folder, NOT the breadcrumb path. Hi All,I have been trying to generate a CHM with a glossary and it keeps coming up blank. I have tried registering the HHActiveX.dll using the regsvr32 in both the System32 and SysWow64 folders. That didn't work. Then I searched my HD to find both the 32-bit and 64-bit versions of HHActiveX.dll from my FM installation, cleaned the registry, and installed both the 32- and 64-bit versions using both the regsvr32 in both the System32 and SysWow64 folders. That didn't work either. I still cannot seem to generate a CHM with a glossary. I'm at a complete loss. I'm running a Windows 10 computer with the newest version of RH (2020.4). The RH project was converted from RH Classic but the glossary was created fresh in RH2020. Is there anyone that has an idea what's going on and why registering HHActiveX.dll didn't work? Each time I attempt to connect a local workspace to our DevOps project, I get an error saying the workspace already exists on my computer.  

We have a quite large structure of merged CHMs for our applications where we locate the corresponding chm using a call from the application with this call: System.Windows.Forms.Help.ShowHelp(this, path, HelpNavigator.Topic,"redirect.htm#help_file.chm::/" + page); The redirect.htm topic contains the following script code:window.location.replace(window.location.hash.substring(1)); This has been working fine from 2013 and until now, when I upgraded the master project to RH 2020. Is there anything that could have made this mechanism to break with this upgrade? BR,Rannveig

In the past folks have discussed about his on the forum. Adobe offers Captivate certification. Is there any Adobe or other certification that covers RoboHelp? Any pointers would help.

Hi, I am building some Arabic content in RH 2015 for a .chm output. The TOC renders correctly but the index renders as nonsense characters.  The project settings is set to Arabic (standard).I tried copying the project to the C drive as I read the length of the file path can be an issue. No change (also some folder names ar equite long still). I'm not seeing any issues in the build log.Any ideas? Thanks

I cannot seem to mark any active review as "Complete." The user guide says to right-click or click the meatballs on the review in the active review panel, then click "Complete." I only have the "Open" option. I have tried this on the review title and the individual chapters in the review. Am I looking in the wrong place, or is the option not available for me?The review I'm trying to close has been shared with a collaborator and I have resolved comments on it.

I accidentally deleted the default.css.  I cannot get it back in the Project Files Pod, but I see it in my project on my laptop when I use Windows Explorer.  I cannot create a new CSS because the CSS section of the Edit ribbon is now disabled.   Any suggestions on how I can restore default.css?

Hello, I want to send a .chm file via email so another person can review the help system I created. When they receive it they are unable to view the file. Please let me know what I need to do so they can view the help. Thank you.

I cannot minimize the window in RoboHelp version 2020.4.173. Is this intentional or did something go wrong with the update? 

Hi everyone,I've encountered a strange issue with the RoboHelp Indigo HTML5 layout we have built for our online help.  The 'Glossary' feature is not filtering (searching for a specific word) when I type something into the Filter Terms bar. (see screenshot below)  The Filter/Search terms DOES work however for the Index feature.Is there something I can do to re-active or turn this functionality back on for the Glossary?Thanks so much again for all your help!Cheers,Billy H.

Dear colleagues,Could you please help me? How can I create such a multilevel header numbering structure using of new 2020 RoboHelp? I have already spend a couple of hours on this task without a good result.  

I have just completed the latest update for RH2020 and running version 4.0 (2020.4.173).  I am working in the Unused Files report.  I can delete the first item I choose but when I choose the 2nd file I receive an Application Error causing me to restart Rh.  Anyone else experiencing this? 

I am setting up a frameless format. I have the latest patch (2020.4). Does anybody know where I can locate instruction on how to change the exand/collapse icon from the right (at the end) of the table of contents title to the left (before) of the title? 

Hi,I know this problem has been solved before on Windows machines. It shouldn't be any different on my Mac, but I cannot figure it out. I installed the macOSx64 JRE installer from :https://www.oracle.com/in/java/technologies/javase-jre8-downloads.html .I also receive a Java Not Found error when trying to generate a PDF from the sample Compass Travel project. If no path is required by Robohelp, then as long as I have the correct version of JRE it should run. We're using RoboHELP version 2020.4.105.  When loading the initial screen of our WebHelp output there is a lengthy hang, followed by a message in Chrome console indicating a failed attempt to load https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js. The WebHelp output is adding this block of code at the very end of the main HTM file: <script>//<![CDATA[if(useTwitter === true) {!function(d,s,id){var js,fjs=d.getElementsByTagName(s)[0],p=/^http:/.test(d.location)?'http':'https';if(!d.getElementById(id)){js=d.createElement(s);js.id=id;js.src=p+'://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js';fjs.parentNode.insertBefore(js,fjs);}}(document, 'script', 'twitter-wjs');}//]]></script> we found removing this script  (manually) resolved the slow load issue. Is there a way via project settings to remove this?  Or is this just a plain old bug that needs attention at Adobe? The code appears at the very end of the HTM page, in the "Scripts" section: <!-- Scr

If you see this message twice I apologize. RH14.0.9 I'm trying to create a pdf output that looks something like the first reply to this post. I'm running into the following problems: Chapter and section numbering in the body:I cannot get chapter numbering at all. I've tried a before: counter for <h1> in the pdf CSS but then all chapters are numbered '1' (one). I haven't even tried section numbering yet until that is resolved.Applying an automatic <h1>, <h2>, <h3> etc. depending on the place in the TOC:All my topics (also the subsections have their own separate topics) start with <h1>. The generated TOC shows the correct indentation but the topics themselves stay at <h1> for each heading. I would have hoped this was generated automatically, but currently I fear my only option is to use one topic for every complete chapter, and apply the H1, H2 myself. Is t
