Why can't I print from Acrobat?  See screenshots. I get an error message of "unable to print" followed by another which says no page selected.  As you can see from the print dialog box, pages ARE selected. Adobe's troubleshooting article is of no help with this. 

This seems to be a common problem and I cannot find an answer. I send out a lot of sensitive docs in PDF form that I would like to ensure are not able to be open or read after a certain time.  How do I achieve that ?I have a subscription to the Document Cloud.Thanks

I am looking for a way to show in a field the number of days between two separate fields: "TodaysDate" and the exeperation terms of service "ETS" ... is there a script to use that someone can help me out?

Guten Tag,ich möchte in einem Formular ein Datumsfeld erstellen und den Feldwert auf die Auswahl der Daten aus Kalenderjahr 2027 eingrenzen. Die Möglichkeit "Feldwert ist im Bereich" ist bei mir ausgegraut und somit nicht nutzbar.Dazu sollen nur Mo-Fr zur Auswahl stehen sowie Feiertage von der Auswahl ausgeschlossen werden. Ich habe es mit verschiedenen Befehlen über Javascript versucht, aber keine Lösung gefunden.Für eine funktionierende Lösung wäre ich Ihnen sehr dankbar.

Hello My name is Ms. Anita, I am new to this Adobe Acrobat, I have yet to understand how to organize my files within the App. I have just Combine the files. However, I would like to place them in Chronological order such 123...so forth and so on. I have spent hours at this computer non stop trying to fiqure it out. Please can someone help me!  

Is it possible to use the PDF Compare function on the latest version of Acrobat (2023.006.20320) on Mac? I've had troubles comparing files on Mac before, but now I keep getting the error "Acrobat could not create the report document!" and I can't figure out a workaround. Any tips would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you in advance for any assistance. I have a checkbox and  3 drop-down list fields associated with it. When the checkbox is unchecked I'd like for all 3 of the drop-down lists to be hidden. Upon selection of the checkbox I'd like the first drop-down list to become visible.  When I select a dropdown list item in the first drop-down list I'd like for the second dropdown list to become visible.  When I select a drop-down list item in the second dropdown list I'd like for the third dropdown list to become visible.  The list of choices in each drop-down list is identical, allowing the evaluator to choose up to three separate applicant attributes in a given checkbox category. If I select the "blank" option in the first drop-down list item (in the case of editing) I'd like for the second and third drop-down lists to return to hidden status. Thank you.

Seems like a simple question, but I can't find the answer anywhere. I have a document that was originally created as a US Letter size document in InDesign. It was saved as a PDF. Other pages were inserted from other documents, to combine to make one larger PDF. Some of the inserted pages are different sizes. I understand that printing will size the pages to fit (if specified). But I am emailing the file and I want the viewer to see the pages all scaled uniformly on the screen. I believe that the option to effect this change is somewhere around Preflight > PDF fixups > Scale pages to A4. Except I don't want A4. This is a US version product. I am a US customer. In the US, standard page size is Letter, not A4. I frankly don't ever need or want to have anything to do with A4. It simply doesn't apply. Why does the program offer "Scale pages to A4" and not to "Scale pages to US Letter"? I have created templates and the properties is set to "only me". When I edit the template there is no option to change the permission under properties. Only the template name. I dont even see the option when creating the template. I have another user on my account who is unable to use the templates. Help please! 

It's been at least 4 hours I want to create a simple form based on a Word file.I need to have a template for my contracts so I can simply fill out and send them to my clients and they check/correct, fill and sign them to me.1. When I create the contract I cannot sign it my self. If I send it first and they sign it, I cannot fill it. If they sign first I cannot sign! 2. The desktop app does not have calculated field and the online one's won't work. (Your website is like a liquid everything is changing every second. It is impsible to fine some thing that I have used before)3. After I create a template with the online version I cannot edit it! I wonder how you guys think! if you do.4. on the desktop app the date and currency type are usless because they can type nunsense. there is no validation.5. In the web version when I create a filed and send the form they cannot see some part of their entry. I h.a.t.e you guys 😠

I have a Mac running Seqouia 15.  I installed Adobe Acrobat Pro 2020 on it and attempted to enter my license key.  After enter the key, Adobe wants me to sign in.  When I sign in, I get the following message: Acrobat Licensing Application quit Unexpectedly.  It is just continuous loop of Adobe wanting me to sign in and Licensing Application quiting Unexpectedly.

Need to Install Adobe Reader DC. The version in Microsoft store is Outdated. Currently released version on February. Can this be updated to the latest. 01. When the MS store app is updated will it update the already installed Apps.02. What is the Frequency the Store App is Updated?

Right after opening a PDF file, I'll start scrolling down the file and it will suddenly freeze up/get stuck scrolling and refuse to move up or down the document for a few seconds, until Adobe decides to catch up and start scrolling again. It makes it painful to open and verify different documents when it's happening in several different PDFs. I've checked the following: Tried the Repair in the Help tab. Tried a repair from the Modify option in the Add or Remove apps sections in the Windows settings. Tried reinstalling Adobe as the admin. Tried Clearing cache/temp files. Tried pausing Microsoft OnDrive because of profile/UEV sync.  Nothing has improved on the issue so far. Not sure where else to go from here and was looking for additional suggestions.

Why in the world would Adobe sneak in the install of mcafee?  I saw no reference to this when intalling acrobat.  This is an awful abuse of your good customers and you really MUST stop this!  Many angry people. 

Hi Adobe Support,I would like to ask how can i resolve this problem , I can't edit properly and check my pdf files.The cursor is keep on blinking from white to black in the home interface when it is moving , and when I'm opening the file the curser because edit text cursor blinking.Can you assist me to resolve this problem.

After a bit of research in this forum I found there are many problems regarding missing images from a PDF.We are producing PDFs for emailings. When opening the PDF in Adobe Acrobat or Reader there are many images missing. In MS Edge everything is displayed.Difficult to debug because:"Show transparency grid" causes images to appear or disappear.Different PDF viewers deliver different results (MS Edge is okay, Acrobat is not okay).Opening the "Output Preview" window also changes results, even without changing any settings.Furthermore, in the "Output Preview" the representation changes when you select "Simulate Black Ink," but only if you are not on the affected page. For example, when you are on page 2, you change settings and nothing happens. (Showing works, but hiding back does not.) So you revert the settings. However, if you move away from the recently viewed page, e.g., to page 3, and then change the settings, you find upon returning to page 2  an empty page.Does anybody h

Have attempted to generate the number of days between two dates using a custom calculation in a text field form and no matter what formula I use the field blank. Can anyone help?

I'm using a image of a form (jpg) that I would like to use as a template to create my own form. I wanted to lock the image and arrange it in the very back so that I can build the form in front of it. Issue is when I start to build the form the image moves around when I don't want it to. Is there any way of locking an image in place in Acrobat? 

Today I was not able to export from Affinity Designer 2 to PDF or open PDF files created previously, I received an access denied message. This is a new issue, I was able to export to PDF and open PDF files earlier today. No changes made to system.I rebooted my laptop.I have full persmission as user (all boxes are checked)I have disabled enable protected mode at startup in AdobeI have uninstalled and reinstalled ReaderI still cannot open any PDF files I have created from Affinity programs or downloaded, ones I created from Word using create XPS/PDF for printed to PDF from Microsoft.My security program is Panda Dome.

I see this issue has been posted about a few time over the years but there is either no resolution posted or it's reported as a bug. If I have a pdf minimized and open a new pdf, it maximizes the minimized pdf, which results in me having to again minimize the pdf. This is very annoying when opening alot of pdfs. Also, I do not have option open documents as new tabs in the same window option selected. Each pdf I open is a seperate window. Thanks for any help in fixing this.

I just realized that Acrobat has not been merging files correctly. For instance, a couple of weeks ago I merged 9 files into one PDF. The total page count should be 297. I just realized that there are only 108 pages in that file. When I merge the same 9 files today, my document is only 55 pages. I have restarted Acrobat and my computer multiple times. I'm on version 24.3.20054.0. This must be an ongoing issue, as I discovered last week that a set of some 200 PDFs I merged was missing at least one file.

I was sent a document that requires electronic signature. The document was sent to me personally, but the printed name that populates into the document is my husband's name. It does not give me the option to edit this. The acrobat account was originally in his name, so I have changed the name on the account. However, it still populates with my husband's name instead of mine. 

I'm having an issue sending a PDF contract for signatures. After I enter the recipient's email address and click to the next step to designate where to sign, the app just spins and spins for all eternity. I end up having to force quit Acrobat.  Creative Cloud and all apps are up to date.  This feature was working flawlessly for me until about three weeks ago. Please help!
