Hi - I receive check files via PDF that don't align properly when printing checks. for the past year and a half I had the ability to to select and adjust the alignment (up or down - with the arrow keys) of the text. All of a sudden, today the only text box I can move is the one that is apparently in the header.  I MUST be able to adjust these fields up and down or I can't print the very time-sensitive checks.  Can you please let me know how I can have this ability again? Thanks!  

I'm seeing a tagging issue when creating a PDF from a Word document that has a table with "heading rows repeat" selected, when the table goes onto multiple pages. The resulting PDF tags include a <tr> / <th> node for the heading each time the heading appears on the top of a page. My understanding is that this tag structure does not meet the PDF accessibility standards, yet that is how the Adobe product generates a PDF. This issue was simiarly discussed here: https://community.adobe.com/t5/acrobat-discussions/tagging-repeating-table-header/m-p/12094073 Manually addressing this, through something like changing it to an artifact, is not particularly reasonable due to the workflow in my office (which involves a high volume of documents created on a short timeline). I have not found a straightforward programmatic remediation approach either, as the general Acrobat API seems quite limited in traversing document content and handling tagging.  This is using

Hi there,I paid for a 1-year Acrobat Premium subscription via the app store back in January of this year. I still have a few months left of this subscription. This said, ever since I upgraded to a new iphone 16 (from my previous iphone 14) Adobe Acrobat Does Not Recognize my paid subscription and it's asking me to start a free trial for the premium version. This is not Ok. How do I solve this issue. Adobe Tech Support, please help me. I tried soliciting a refund from Apple but it wouldn't allow the refund because the purchase (which was an annual subscription) was made in January. Please help! Thanks!

We have a corporate technical manual library of over 5000 pdf documents with over 1.5 million links and bookmarks that we share with all our employees in SharePoint. The only browser that shows the bookmarks and has working links is Firefox. Is there any extension/patch or other method to get the bookmarks and links to work with Chrome and Edge?FYI: The files operated properly in IE.

I use Adobe Acrobat DC. I want to save an rotated document, but is doesn't work. When rotated and closed a document , the rototation is not saved. I've tried it with online rotating (adobe.com) but this isn't the solution. What's the problem? 

Adobe Acrobat updated on my work computer this morning. Since then, Advanced Search has started highlighting words that I didn't search for (in full or in part). Hi all.  I don't know the correct "terminology" so apologies in advance. I created a PDF document (basically markups of an image with lines and text callouts on top).  I want to send this PDF to others, but I don't want them to be able to "move/edit" the lines and text callouts.  This is not collaborative file.  How do I do this?  Many years/versions of Acrobat ago, I would "flatten" the PDF before sending, but now when I try to find out how to do it in the latest version of Acrobat I can't get any clear instructions how to.   All my Google searches tells me to change security of the file to prevent editing.  And Google search of "flattening" leads to a confusing maze.  I don't even know if "flattening" is the right term anymore either. My workaround now has been to create the PDF in Acrobat, and then open the PDF file with Preview (I work on a Mac).  Then in Preview, I "print" the file and select the output as PDF and that makes t

The text that I've added to a .pdf file (& sometimes comment boxes) won't print when I print the .pdf.  It used to.  Same thing with stamps, they are not printing out on the document and they used to.  Have a accidently turned something off?  I have Adobe Acrobat XI Standard.

I have the same issue as other forum users have had regarding CTRL B no longer working to make bookmarks of highlighted text, but I haven't found a solution for me. The bookmark is created with text "Untitled". This CTRL B method worked for me up until yesterday. There are no restrictions on my documents and I created them myself. I tested on both new documents and those I worked successfully with (using the shortcut) earlier this week. The New Bookmarks button works as expected.Troubleshooting tried:Logging off network.Restarting computer.Removing Preferences folder from C:\Users\AnnaNmty\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Acrobat\DCRemoving UserPrefs folder from same folder. (This was moderately successful in that my initial issue today was not being able to create bookmarks with either the button or CTRL B, not even "Untitled".)Adobe Acrobat DC (not Reader) 18.009.20050, Windows 7, 64bit. All updates applied.

As of a few hours ago, my mouse wheel scrolling is no longer working in the Bookmarks side panel. It works everywhere else but not in Bookmarks. Started today. Guessing an Update fart. Is there a fix for this?

Hello, I've noticed I'm having weird issues with word spacing on some lines in Adobe Acrobat Pro DC. It doesn't matter how many words I type, it'll randomly pick lines to space out. Tried to fix the alignment but it didn't help at all. Also tried to fix character and line spacing, didn't help. I've attached a photo I know its not good quality but I've underlined the weirdly spaced words, any help is appreciated!

Sigo los pasos correctamente, hago click en firmar y solo aparece el logo de Adobe en vez de el nombre, DNI, fecha de la firma, etc. He ido a la configuración de la firma y los recuadros marcados incluyen estos datos y si quito el recuadro del logo no me deja firmar directamente. Anteriormente ya había podido firmar con este certificado con éxito, con los datos mencionados apareciendo encima del logo. Alguna idea?

Hi There, I have created a document in Word that includes text boxes, shapes created in Word and images inserted from JPEG files.  When I print the document directly from Word, there is no problem, all the formatting prints out on the paper correctly, as expected.  When I hit command + P and "print" or save the document as a PDF, essentially converting the document from a .docx to a .pdf, the document looks fine on the screen.  No formatting has been changed, even in the Print Preview it looks fine when open in Adobe Acrobat Reader DC.  However, when I print the document to paper, many of the shapes are missing, some of the images are partially cut-off and in some cases, big black boxes appear. I have had to use the "bring to front", "bring forward", "bring in front of text", etc. options in Word when creating the document to get the look I wanted and have images and shapes or text layered.  Not sure if this is playing a part. Again, there is no

Hi there, Curious if anyone has seen this issue where randomly a saved PDF will just add characters after the .pdf extension? I've attached an example picture of one that just happened.  Thanks for any info or help on this. -Joseph

I am using Acrobat Reader 2025.001.20693 on Mac Sequioa 15.6.1All of a sudden I am unable to print single sided.My process is:File > Print which brings up the print dialog (right side of screenshot). I press the Printer button at the bottom (note that there is no option in the print dialog regarding single or double sided). This brings up the second dialog (on the left below). Note that double-sided is set to "off".  When I select the Print button (again, left hand dialog below) the dialog closes and nothing happens. I then select the Print button from the remaining dialog (right dialog below) and it prints double-sided.This is EXTREMELY FRUSTRATING!!!! How do I make it stop? I've deleted the printer and all drivers, have reinstalled everything (this has taken 4 hours so far) and nothing works.This happens whether I'm printing from the Adobe Reader app installed on my Mac, or printing from within Chrome with the extension installed.

How can i solve the issue where acrobat display text stacked and disoriented?Im on a Mac and when previewing the pdf its normal. Checked on my Windows pc and it looks normal. Just when i open it on Acrobat for mac it is funky looking.

Seriously, no marketing BS, no deflection, no big strategy, why add AI to an application that already struggles to live up to it's purpose? I don't think it is a great secret that your applications have suffered in quality over the recent years. I can't say I've seen a Reddit post, TikTok, YouTube, or any other user comments anywhere recently that are flattering to Adobe or Acrobat. Personally, I don't give two cents about AI in my PDFs and I gotta say, this isn't unique among your users. I think it's great that you're trying to innovate however, the facts are your innovations are taking a toll on your image as a company focused on its users. Of all the software installed on my computers over the last few decades, Adobe software continuously performs poorly against other companie's software. Errors, crashes, slow downs, memory leaks, have all been happened routinely. No software is perfect but I can count the number of times Word has crashed in the last year on zero fingers.

Hi There  recently we have discovered that certain fonts we use do not convert to PDF Properly when using adobe acrobat addin for Office 365 (PDF Maker)  We have a few different Calibre Fonts that our company uses: Calibre Calibre Light Calibre Medium Calibre Semibold  All of these fonts convert fine with no formatting But if you make Calibre Semibold or Calibre Medium bolded, they then convert to Times New Roman when creating PDF  Calibre Light and Calibre will convert fine when bolded  i have ticked embedded fonts in Adobe PDF Maker but this doesnt help  i have done so much testing but cannot for the life of me seem to figure out what the issue is  any ideas would be much appreciated  thanks 

When sending documents for electronic signature through Adobe Acrobat Sign online, we are running into a problem where our recipients are unable to complete the initial field. It seems to be stuck; when we click on the 'Initial' button it won't let us add an initial - the usual pop-up doesn't appear and nothing happens. However, it will let us fill out the signature in the same document when we click on the 'Signature' button.We have tried multiple different templates, brand new documents, cleared the cache on our browsers, sent to different email addresses, checked the permissions and participants set, tried it on our phones, and nothing we've done has worked. We've only had this problem today, and all the documents we sent out up until yesterday seem to be working as per usual.

Hi everyone, I’ve recently started using Adobe Acrobat PDF Editor and I’m running into an issue with creating internal links in my document. The links work perfectly while I’m still in the editor, but once I save and reopen the file, they stop working properly. I’ve tried saving in different formats, but the problem remains. There’s no security on the document, and the links themselves are still visible in the saved file — they just don’t take me to the right part of the page anymore. In short: the links behave as expected inside the editor, but fail once the PDF is saved and opened. Has anyone else run into this, or know what might be causing it?
