On Acrobat, bookmarks don't display the document name when the file is opened from a One Drive location, whereas on Mac, the file is opened from the finder and is permanently available offline. This is a problem as I regularly use the application with favorites to open reference documents. The black blocks are there for confidentiality reasons only.

In Adobe Acrobat Pro, how do I uniformly change the color of all hyperlinked text to black for a large number of PDF documents (e.g., 1000 books) in a batch process?

I cannot open a pdf file. I receive a message error saying the file it is either damaged or not supported. Hello,Within our RDS environment we have noticed several people getting the error "A running instance of Acrobat has caused an error" The issue seems to be semi-random and I have yet to find a cause. When the error comes up they are not able to use Acrobat until they sign out of the RDS environment completly or manually shut it down all Adobe tasks from within Windows task manager. We have tried all of the fixes that have been noted in other community posts including: restarting server, running repairs, updating Adobe, and changing registry entry to use Microsoft's default DFS code and not the Adobe-specific code. Nothing. This is effecting 10+ users a day and I cannot find a resolution. Any help would be greatly appreciated. For those wondering the Registry key that was changed was: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Adobe\Adobe Acrobat\DC\FeatureLockDownType: DWORD_32 "bFilePathPreprocessingUseFileHandleEnabled" Value: 1

Using Adobe Acrobat (64 Bit) 25.1.20566I keep reading about the ability to turn Bookmarks into Destinations automatically, but can't seem to figure it out.  I have a file with 155 bookmarks and would like be able to convert them to Destinations without having to create individual Destinations for each one.

My Adobe is having glitches in which when I edit a document, save it.  I will later on delete the new information or it will show N ///// or something similar. Can someone help?

I have been using acrobat to convert PDFs for a while. Today, the program looks different and there is no option to convert. What did you do and why do I have to search the far corners of the internet to figure out how to use a product that I have been paying for? I have created an Acrobat DC PlugIn which creates a toolbar. The icon for the toolbar initially shows up correctly, but on subsequent mouse clicks of the icon, it turns black. I cannot find any significant documentation on the AVToolBarSetIcon function and am going by one or two samples I have seen. I am not sure what the two images in AVToolBarSetIcon should be. It doesn't seem to matter what the second one is though. When I copy and paste text from Acrobat (any file) to word, it comes out in Italics. Is there a reason? I want Roman characters (no itals).  Is there a setting in Acrobat that controls this output?  Not an issue using Preview or PDF Expert. So there is clearly a setting in Acrobat that is causing this. (Never used to.) Using lateest Acrobat DC Pro and latest Monterey. tx

I'm creating a PDF report for preschool teachers, and I'd like them to be able to easily indicate feedback using smiley icons. Ideally, teachers should be able to toggle the visibility of each smiley by simply clicking on it: one click makes the smiley appear, another click hides it again.How can I achieve this functionality in Adobe Acrobat? Can this be done using interactive form fields, buttons, or scripts? Any suggestions or guidance would be greatly appreciated!

I finally found the keep tool and customized my toolbar to add it back. Except it doesn't show up. What am I doing wrong? You can see I added it and saved it. But it's nowhere to be seen on the toolbar. If I click the annotate button (where it appears when customizing the toolbar) it's just my signature.

 Hello, I have noticed that Acrobat is using a lot of RAM, almost 90% of available RAM, even though I have just turned on my computer and have not run the program yet. That causes my computer to sometimes freeze. How can I report this to Adobe so they know about this problem? 

My acrobat will not combine files like in previous versions. Also, if I have a pdf open and then try to open another pdf, it takes upwards of 5 minutes and then all the sudden opens even if acrobat is no longer running because I gave up waiting. Seems to be an issue with the most recent updates. Anyone else have this problem with either function? Also if I go to open a previously viewed multiple page pdf, it only opens on the page I last closed it with...why isn't it opening at page 1 like it used to?

Multiple computersNewest version of Acrobat DCIssue only seems to happen with drawings exported from CAD programs but Acrobat will become unresponsive after 10-15 seconds of scrolling through the documents. It never crashes tho, just switches between being unresponsive and not (the "not" phase it still isn't usable/can't interact with the program, just Windows doesn't report it as unresponsive)Tried disabling accessibility options, all comments options, protected mode, rendering options, clean install Created diagnostic log 9550e1b6-fd48-45b3-9d9e-e9d818508fb4 for the trouble. Any further suggestions would be appreciated.

As the title suggested, when opening some CAD drawings saved as PDF (not even heavy drawings), Acrobat just struggles enormously and this has gotten worse over the years, to the point where it's not even workable anymore. Opening, switching pages or zooming in takes a very long time.  I just downloaded Sumatra PDF, and I opened 20 CAD drawings in less than 2 seconds and the viewing experience is just on another level, it's blazing fast.  If the original developer of the PDF format doesn't know how to handle these basic PDFs whereas a free software does the job 1000x better and faster, there's clearly something wrong.  My workstation specs are quite ok: Threadripper 3990x, Nvidia RTX3080Ti and 265GB RAM so I don't think that's the problem. 

I have a nuberic field on my pdf and what I would like to know if there is anything in JavaScript that will select (highlight) the field value when you select the field with your mouse. The number gets selected when you Tab in but not when you click in with the mouse. I tried some code on a mouse down event but did not work.

Hallo, seit ein paar Minuten habe ich Probleme PDF Dateien zu öffnen. Ich öffne die Datei, sie öffnet sich auch ganz normal aber dann geht direkt das ganze Bild weg und es bleibt nur ein grauer Bildschirm. Ich habe die Adobe App schon geupdatet und sogar repariert. Geht trotzdem nicht. Benötige bitte dringend Hilfe!
