Der Mitarbeiter öffnet ein PDF vom Netzwerklaufwerk, fügt noch andere aus dem gleichen Verzeichnis dazu. Führt dann die OCR Erkennung aus und rotiert manche Seiten. Wenn er dann einfach auf "speichern" klickt, l kommt die angehängte Fehlermeldung. Danach wird er dann zu "Speichern unter" umgeleitet. Und Acrobat zeigt eine zufällige Buchstabenfolge mit der Endung .tmp an. Diese kann dann überschrieben und als PDF gespeichert werden.

Do I really have to download a third party's software to do this? I just need to remove the Title from ALL 872 separate PDFs I prepared. I can remove other metadata as well but really ir's title that is at issue. I don't want people knowing the title of the document from which I extracted the numerous PDFs. I tried "Action" and it is making me save each one individually after I load them all in there to have their metadata stripped.  I am not doing Javascript, please don't suggest it. Thanks in advance. 

Apologies if this is a dumb question, but hours of searching has not solved it: the first item in the drop down menu under 'File' features an 'open folder' icon that allows one to open a file, and has a reminder that the Ctrl+O shortcut key does likewise, but is there a way of adding that shortcut to the menu bar so that, when viewing one PDF, we can open another just by clicking on the 'open folder' icon?

Hi!I have a large PDF file of more than 200 pages. It's a digital product that I want to sell to my customers. I want to make it fillable for them and I also want my customers to be able to click on an image in the PDF, which would lead them to an online community page. I'm looking at the subscribtions, and I'm a bit confused. Is Acrobat Standard enough for what I want to achieve here? Or do I need the Pro version?Thanks in advance 😄 

I have Acrobate Pro 2020 on my Dell laptop.  Worked fine until yesterday.  It will download a pdf from the internet (taking a foreign language course online) but it will not open the pdf in Google Chrome with the Acrobat .exe enabled.  Reloaded Pro and it displays a sad 😞 page graphic when i try to open the downloaded document. Thanks. 

I have the paid version of Acrobat.  There are other things on my laptop - Adobe Acrobat distiller,  Adobe Creative Cloud and Adobe offers.  Should I uninstall them?  I open Adobe and then open a document.  When I try to edit it, I receive a subscription offer.  I just want to edit a few tiny words in this document.  

Hello, I've been having trouble making certain calculations work. I was working on this form a few months ago, and thought this particular calculation was working, but it's not now, and I can't figure out what's wrong with it. When I compare it to other fields with similar expressions that do work, I can't see the difference. Hi there:I downloaded a few fillable PDFs from Revenu Quebec for their income tax forms for 2023 from their website, and although I am able to fill things out, I am not able to see any updates for the sums in each section. They remain at zero, which is uneditable. Is it because there is a password protection? Does anyone know what the password would be?

I am trying to update and "change" everything , but it doesn't seem to be working. So frustrating!

Hallo Zusammen,Aufgrund von immer wieder auftretenden drucktechnischen Problemen, versuche ich seit längerer Zeit einen Preflight zu erstellen, der eine Meldung ausgibt, wenn sich arabische, asiatische, hebräische o.ä. Schriften/Schriftzeichen im Dokument befinden. Mein erster Ansatz war das Hinterlegen aller bekannten bzw. verwendeten Schriftarten (nach Name).Allerdings bin ich jetzt immer wieder auf Dateien gestoßen, die zB. in Arial MT gesetzt sind, aber mit arabischen Zeichen oder die Schrift in Pfade konvertiert ist... Hat irgendjemand eine Idee wie ich hier weiterkomme, bzw. ob es irgendeine Möglichkeit gibt, die o.g. Zeichen explizit zu erkennen?Ich freue mich über jeglichen Input!Vielen Dank.Gruß, Jan

I am trying to put my business' name and full address on two different lines. Is it possible to choose and then automatically prefill these fields from a list? ex: *chooses dealership 1 from dropdown list* - name and address of dealership one populates in fields highlighted in yellow in photo 1.

Greetings, We are on Win11 PCs joined to an Active Directory enterprise environment running Adobe Acrobat DC  2025.0011.20474 64 bit.  Opening a PDF on a windows 2019 server shared folder won't let us "save" that same PDF with the same filename after setting an encrypted password.  It will say the above error: "The document could not be saved.  Cannot save to this filename. Please save the document with a different name or in a different folder."  Then the PDF will change to a tmp file inside local drive appdata folder until you specify a new name and "save as" it to the original network location. Then the user has to remember to delete the prior version to be able to rename the file back to what it should be.It happened when using a \\servername\share or a \\DFSname\Share.  It didn't happen when the PDF was on a local drive.  But our PDFs are on the network share so they are backed up consistently, so we need to get them saveable there with

Hi Community, I have been having issues with sending documents for signing via AdobeSign, and this occurs when the recipient is an employee of the organisation that owns the Adobe Acrobat Pro licence. I have no issues at all sending documents to external recipients. Does anyone else experience this? Is this perhaps a setting I need to adjust - I have looked and can't see anything. I've tried the troubleshooting and FAQ's but nothing really covers this. Hoping someone can help. Thanks

However, when users select this checkbox, my backend does not receive any related job option like ColorModel, cupsColorMode, or even a custom flag such as com.adobe.print.GrayscalePrint.When users instead go through the “Printer…” button and select Color Mode: Grayscale from the system dialog, then my backend correctly receives ColorModel=Gray.My questions:Does the grayscale checkbox modify the job in a way that doesn't emit CUPS job options?Is there a documented way to detect if the “Print in grayscale” checkbox was checked?If not, what’s the recommended method to distinguish between user-intended grayscale vs. color when printing from Adobe Acrobat?Any insights or Adobe-specific flags I can check for in the backend would be greatly appreciated.Thanks in adva

Dear Support Team,I recently subscribed to the AI Assistant service (Order Number: AD03433300438ETH). I can access the assistant when viewing some online PDFs via Google Chrome. However, when I download the same PDF and upload it to Adobe online, the AI Assistant is no longer accessible. Hi everyone,  I have created a .pdf form to share for electronic completion.  I have created many forms in the past, and I have used the same process for this form. In the "prepare a form" tool, I have confirmed all fields are in the proper tab order and all fields have been set with the necessary character limits so the text does not expand past the field box. When I send the form through e-sign, the recipient version of the form does not have any character restrictions (as it multi-line or scroll long text is selected, which they are not) and the tabs are definitely not aligned with the tab order in the "prepare a form" tool. Does anyone have any insight into how I can correct this?  E-sign is unusable with the format of the form as it is right now. Thank you.

The following problem is occurring. Please let me know the cause and solution.1) Open a PDF file in the Chrome browser on the Chromebook.2) When I click on “Open in Apps” and select “Adobe Acrobat: PDF editing, conversion, and signature tools,” I get the error message "The file could not be opened with this app because the app is not approved. Please try again." and an error message appears and the PDF cannot be opened.

When I use the insert text commenting on Adobe Acrobat, sometimes I need to say to insert a space or insert a paragraph break. All of the documentation says that if I insert a space I should get a ^_ symbol. And if I insert a paragraph, I should get a ^ paragraph mark.  That doesn't happen for me. All I get is a ^.  This is confusing for the other users since the comment attached only has a space in it, and it isn't obvious what I want. And there's no way to be clear about the insert paragraph. Here's a picture of what I get:  Here's what a coauthor gets when he does the same thing: I've looked on all the adobe help sites and there's nothing to say why my installation is behaving this way. I've checked for updates, and it is updated. I've tried reverting to old acrobat. That doesn't help. I went back to new acrobat, that didn't help. So anyone have any idea what gives here? 

I don't know why sometimes acrobat don't work when uploading big PPTX to convert into PDFs - it got stucked 2 times and now i'm using the web version to get this done - please check team from your side

I’ve encountered an issue when trying to open PDF files in a web browser with the Adobe extension enabled. When I download a PDF and open it in the browser, the file appears for a split second and then the screen turns white. However, if I disable or remove the extension, the PDF opens and displays correctly.This problem affects everyone in my company who has the Adobe extension installed.
