Questions

When I add a Text Comment to a PDF document in Adobe Reader XI the comment shows up a line below the cursor. Once I finish entering the comment I have to exit out of the comment and move the comment up where it's supposed to be. It doesn't happen on all documents, just some of them. Is there a setting or something I can adjust to get the comments on those document to enter where the cursor is?  Thank you in advance for your assistance.

This is very frustrating. I use Adobe Acrobat Pro at work and it recently started an annoying issue: when I have multiple pdfs open in tabs and I close one tab, it will very often also close the next tab to the right without me clicking on anything else or pushing any keyboard keys. It is happening with increased frequency. Workaround is obvious (always keep the tab to the left of those I need open until I'm done with the one on the right), but takes up real estate and interrupts workflow. This has got to be a bug - where is the update and fix?

Hi whenever I save PDFs from inside Acrobat, out to an optimised version, or a 'reduced size' version, the fonts change spacing horribly, and headings that were ALL caps, change to random upper and lower characters.I've checked and the original (correct appearance) PDFs have the fonts embedded. I've also checked the Optimisation settings and the Fonts are being set to remain embedded.So what on earth is happening?

Hi Team,In our environment, we encountered an issue while updating Adobe Acrobat DC to version 25.001.2047x (Optional Update, Apr 28, 2025). The update fails on certain macOS machines.We analyzed a few sample machines and observed the following (note: this may not cover all possible base versions):Successful Updates (Sample):25.001.2043825.001.2046724.004.20272Failed Updates (Sample):24.005.2040024.005.20320We primarily used the Terminal for the installation. On machines where the update failed, we also attempted installation via the standalone installer, but that too was unsuccessful.While using the installer, it prompted us to select the Adobe Acrobat application. However, even though the app was visible in Finder, it was not selectable, which resulted in the installation failing.Additionally, we attempted the troubleshooting steps suggested for error code 105 , but the issue still persists.We’ve attached some sample logs and screenshots for your reference.Looking forward to you

Greetings,I apologize if this seems too rudimentary. When I read documents, I prefer to scroll, as opposed to having a new page pop up. I recall in earlier versions of Acrobat and Reader, that scrolling was available in toolbars and the header of the UI (just dated myself there). Now, the only available option is on the bottom right edge of the UI, and that is fit screen/ scroll. That requires selecting the option and then resizing the page. I looked in the in the customization routine for the toolbar the floats near the top left. However, there didn't seem to be a group to add navigation options. The only way, I have found, to get continuous scrolling is to go to the view menu and select scrolling. I like Acrobat for its capability as a PDF system. It's rather amazing. But it's really busy and I wonder if I am missing what I'm looking for because I can't see the forest for the trees. Hello,I have many .msg files (from outlook) in my computer. I want to mass convert them to .pdf however, if I do so I have to rename them, one by one, during the conversion process (they are all named Memo Style.pdf). I want to convert into .pdf with the same name as they have as .msg. Is it possible? How should I do it?

As the title says, I'm having an issue with the extension auto opening the first search result when it's a PDF. I'm seeing this on several machines in our company currently.  If you open Google and search for "supplier guide sg-0181" the first result is a direct link to a PDF document at Northrop Grumman.  The search results display briefly and then the extension opens and displays the document. Clicking back does not go back to the results page either, but to the search page. Disabling the extension resolves the issue. Chrome Version 137.0.7151.56 (Official Build) (64-bit)Acrobat Extension Version 25.5.4.0

What it says on the tin: despite what I read on the help page for it, I do not see a "Use Local Fonts" option when I go into the "Preferences > Page Display" menu. I'm running the most recent version of Acrobat on Mac 13.6.3 with an M2 Pro – I also am running Acrobat using Rosetta, as there are some plug-ins I use that do not support Silicon.

Help! I want to disable a pop-up window when I select the fountain pen. I can click anywhere else in the document and the pop-up doesn't appear but everytime I select the found pen this pop-up appears at the bottom right hand corner.  Any assistance is appreciated. Thank you!

How can I convert web page content (ignore header and footer of web page) to PDF and retain the web fonts and styles used on website? When I use Acrobat > Tools › Create PDF › Web Page it just uses system fonts.  I have tried using a WordPress plugin called PDF & Print Pro by BestWebSoft. It uses the mPDF library to convert web pages to PDF and works pretty well, but even though we have installed the web font locally and set configuration to recognize and use our font, it still just uses the system fonts.

I have a form that is working correctly> However, I missed a calculation. Once I add the calculation the totals changed from $0 to $1. But nothing has been entered in any of the calculation areas. Any thoughts, advice, etc is appreciated.

I'm working with a portfolio (originally created in BlueBeam) that has multiple files in it. Each file within the list is showing a specific name - this is the name I want shown - but when i click on the file, or open it, a new name shows. How do I remove that new name?    Important detail: there are seals and signatures on these documents, so they might not be able to be changed.      [Edited by moderator: Please refrain from sharing your personal details here.]

I've tried several times to clear the signature & initials from the "Fill & Sign" but it will not clear when clicking the x. How do I remove the saved information? 

Can somebody help to know if there is a way to delete all the comments from a PDF in a single go? I have some 1000+ PDFs, those have too many comments, i want to delete it in 1 go for each file. May be i can try building a bot for that after then. Please help Thanks in advance

Hi,I am making a PDF with Radio Buttons, with an image background, and when I display the PDF in Acrobat Pro X it looks fine. I have switched off Highlight Existing Fields in the Form menu. But when I open the document on another computer, large grey boxes are shown around the Radio Buttons. Does Acrobat automatically switch on Highlight Existing Fields?How can I export the PDF so that on other computers the grey boxes are not shown??Thanks very much for your help!Fabian
