My Adobe Acrobat android app is not showing results when search for file names using the lens icon. In the video capture you can see that I have many pdfs for score songs, each with the name of the song as title. Doing a simple search does not show any results. This happened in 2 tablets from different brands so it does not look to be specific to a device. What could be wrong? 

I have an account with my company that installed Adobe Acrobat Pro DC on my computer. When I open the file, it stays open for about 30 seconds, then closes randomly. The program offers no explanation as to why this occurs, but I am starting this discussion to get feedback on what I might be able to do to resolve this. Can anyone provide a step-by-step plan on what to do?

I have a trusted function to import a text file from a button.   It works fine when I specify the file path including a specific text file.  I am wanting to open to the file directory and let the user select from the .txt files in that folder.  If I don't include an actual file.txt name, nothing happens, the path to the directory with the text files does not open.  The code I'm trying to use with the button is: var thepath = getCurrentDirectory;myImportTextData(thepath); My trusted function code is: myImportTextData = app.trustedFunction(function(cPath){app.beginPriv();this.importTextData(cPath);app.endPriv();}); 

This problem is very old.Why is it not solved yet?If I have clicked the file in Windows so that it shows in the preview pane. Then editing it in acrobat and you cannot save it until you click some where else in the folder.  This annoying?My solution, install Foxit pdf preview handler and voila! Then Foxit shows the preview pane and I can now save even if the file shows in preview pane. The software is from 2008 so I am guessing this problem is also that old...

I'm using Ubuntu for a low-end computer but still need to edit PDF's.Hope anyone can help.

I'm probably way out of my league here, but here's what I need to happen:I have a fillable pdf with several checkboxes that would result in an amount being added to a total field (Ex: Full page ad / Exhibitor fee is $500 / Non exhibitor fee is $750), so the user selects two items (or none). If they check "Full page ad" checkbox, then they select whether or not they are an exhibitor, then the amount ($500) would go to the total field = $500. And several more optional add choices, etc.So, I guess my question(s) are:If a checkbox is selected, can a number populate in a separate field? And if so, how?I am a javascript beginner, have only completed the calculations that were simple.Many thanks in advance for help/advice.

When I go through the process to request a signature for a document I keep getting an error message 'File Upload Failed Error 403.This has only just started happening and the documents have worked previously. Any ideas please?

Year 2024 - Installing both versions of Adobe Pro and Adobe Reader on the same machine Hello,We have multiple users working on a terminal servers A few have license for Adobe ProThe rest of the users need access to the 'regular' Adobe Reader that does not require a license. Tried installing Adobe Pro on the terminal server -it uninstalled and canceled out Adobe Reader. We need a way to keep both versions on the same machine Major problem with Adobe Pro is - It wouldn't let users use reading functionality without logging in with an email address that has a license attatched to it. It just force quits, leaving reading PDF files impossible for users without Adobe Pro license. How can we keep both versions? Or, is there a way to tell Adove Pro not to force quit while not in 'logged in' mode and keep reading functionality? Thank you!

Hi. Our users access Adobe Acrobat Standard on an RDS server, but one has asked if he can have the ability to compare documents. I believe that function is only available on Acrobat Pro, so just wondering if anyone knows if both versions can happily live alongside each other on the same RDS server? Many thanks in advance.

I have a client who is running Server 2019 Remote Desktop server and want to have both Reader and Pro installed on the same system. Adobe support have tried to assist with this but they have not been able to resolve so looking if anyone on here who has setup this way or some insight to why its not working. The process support instructed me to go through is to install Pro from: https://helpx.adobe.com/in/acrobat/kb/acrobat-dc-downloads.htmlThen install Reader following https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/install-reader-dc-windows.html If we do this, Reader will not install, it error with "Old/New Acrobat vesion alread installed."If we install in the reverse Reader then Pro, the Pro instyaller removes reader as part of the process. I have also tried the cleaner utilities to completely remove both Reader and Pro and tried again but no different. Any guidance would be appreciated.

Hi, Documents generated with google doc, then converted in a pdf format and approved via adobe sign (e-signature).Issue: the links of the table of content are no more working.The browser opens a new tab with an Error:404. I downloaded Adobe Acrobat on 12 August 2025 and i have been trying to edit and sign some pdf documents  sent to me via email.  I am unable to save or email completed documents. My free trial ends on 19th August 2025 and since I am unable to use it for the purpose required, I would like to unsubscribe as I am a retired pensioner. Kindly advise

Hello! A couple of years ago I created PDF forms for a client who had forms which included multiple lines for text. The client wanted me to format fields for those lines so when the text reached the end of the row, it would flow to the next line. Back then, I found the script I needed in one of these Adobe forums and it worked beautifully, but now it doesn't seem to want to work. Has something changed in Adobe that would affect the script not working? Can anyone provide me with a solution? Thanks in advance!

Hello - I've encountered a weird issue where a pdf I made in Canva does not print when I try to print in Adobe Acrobat. It takes me to the printer settings but when I hit print, it makes me resave it and it says it's sending to printer but it never prints. I checked in the printer queue and it never shows up. However if I drag the pdf into the web browser - I can print it fine.  Is there a setting that needs to be adjusted or is this a weird bug? I know Canva is not ideal but the person I am sending this to does not know how to use adobe products and they will need to print these docs. I do not want them to encounter this issue. Any advice would be appreciated! Thanks.
