Hello, I am currently looking into two error messages that seem to occur when trying to open up embedded PDF documents from an Excel document. These error messages do not seem to occur when opening the PDF files directly from file explorer. Any advice on how to resolve these error messages would be greatly appreciated.  Kind Regards, Ryan

Good afternoon.Some years ago, my organization acquired 100 licenses of Adobe Acrobat XI (Acrobat Professional 11.0 ) in 2014. Recently, we have been experiencing issues installing the product on devices with Windows 10. No error message appears during installation, but when we run the product, nothing happens. Therefore, we have some questions regarding this:Have we reached the 100 licenses usage limit? Our systems show that we have some licenses available. We would like to use the Adobe administration console, but I don't have access.Is there any issue with the product being expired?Can we see how many licenses have been used?Thank you!Bernardo

Hey, guys. I use Acrobat frequently in a professional capacity to edit PDFs I have generated through Excel and Google Sheets. The PDFs from those programs have color coding, cell bordering, and text size elements that are very important to the final document. However, as soon as the new update went live, Acrobat started to open these documents, immediately begin the Auto-Adjust Layout process (no way to cancel) and promptly remove all colors, the majority of cell borders, and revert a good amount (but not all) of the text formatting. This makes my generated documents completely useless for their intended purpose, and there is no way to revert the changes once they've been made.  Is there some way to turn this feature off? I cannot access any edit settings, the gear becomes greyed out as soon as the process starts. When I click the info bubble beside the Auto-Adjust line, all it says is this very helpful tidbit :  "Content adjusts as you edit, like in"

Hi everyone, for a while now in the "fill and sign" section, from the "sign yourself" menu I can no longer delete one of the two signatures present.If I click on the gray dot nothing happens.Has anyone had the same problem?I'm attaching an image.ThanksLuciano 

Hello,I am in an entrprise environment where all of our users have Adobe Acrobat Reader, and a smaller subset of users have Adobe Acrobat Standard/Pro. We have in-house and third-party applications that require us to keep Reader installed for all users, and also keep the file association for PDF set to Reader for all users (including Acrobat users). For a good while, Reader has had a passthrough feature that automatically opens PDFs in Acrobat when a user has both applications, regardless of what app is set as the default in Windows. This setting is called "Always open PDFs in Adobe Acrobat", and it is in the General>Application Startup section of Reader's preferences. This keeps users happy, because they can open PDFs directly in Acrobat, while all of our backend integrations still leverage Adobe Reader. We have received many reports at our organization that this feature is no longer working. A few days ago, I purchased my suscription from the Adobe Acrobat app (please, don't send me to their technicians or Google Play Store, they just ignore me and close my case over and over). My suscription doesn't appear on Google Play, ONLY on the Adobe Acrobat app. If I try to cancel it, it sends me to Google Play, where I don't have any suscription. How can I cancel it? Hello, I am assisting an end-user with using the "Save as Adobe PDF" function within Microsoft Word. Specifically, when using the functionality, Word asks to save, then it prompts a File Explorer window with the default file extension being .docx. This end-user has to manually change it back to PDF and click OK for the functionality to work as expected. This occurs with all Word documents across a laptop and desktop both running Windows 10 Pro. I have confirmed that the end-user has the most recent versions of Office and Adobe Acrobat. They are licensed for Adobe Acrobat Pro and have the licensed version installed on both machines. Could the issue be caused by a setting syncing across both devices? Thank you.

In Microsoft Word, I use the following path to export a document with mail merges into a PDF: Mailings tab > Finish & Merge > Print Documents > Current record > Set printer as Adobe PDF.   When I do this, the HTTPS hyperlinks in my document are flattened and do not work. I still see them as blue underlined text, but clicking/ctrl+clicking does nothing. However, the MAILTO: links work fine. Why is this?  Going to Mailings > Merge to Adobe PDF keeps the HTTPS hyperlinks, but it changes the name of the document to PDFMailer. For this workaround, is there any setting to keep the document the same name as it was originally?

I would like to red-line documents by drawing a red rectangle with 100% opacity around the relevant fields and have the interior "fill" of the rectangle be a ~25% opacity yellow color to highlight the field but be transparent. When right clicking on the rectangle and going to "Propertiest" I only have one opacity slider that affects both the border and fill color the same. How do I adjust the fill and border opacity independently of each other?

I discovered this morning several CC app updates. However, AA Pro was not one of these. I confirmed the Auto update is checked. I had to run update manually. Is AAP different from the other CC apps where it updates seperately?  I have noticied AAP Team does an excellent job in documenting the changes they make.  This is a minor inconvience, just curious why the app does not show when an update is released.

Hi All, I need to sign a form using ertificate based digital signature. However, currently I am unable to boot my laptop into windows and running it on ubuntu 24.04.  Is it possible to create and use certificate based digital signature online without any subscription?

I have a PDF that contains named destinations. It is hosted on a web server. When I navigate to the PDF using #nameddest=[named destination name] or #[named destination name] appended to the URL, most of the destinations work, and they are properly navigated to; but, there are some that don't. There does not appear to be any difference between the ones that do and the ones that don't. The naming convention for the destinations is standard, all lowercase, with words divided by a dash "-". I receive the same result in both Edge and Chrome. Double-clicking on the destinations that do not work in the browser in Acrobat Pro DC work as expected. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Hi,Are e-signature fields and digital signature fields not recommended on the same fillable form in Acrobat?I've created a fillable form that includes a range of form fields, such as dropdowns, radio buttons, a button, text fields, signature fields, and a final digital signature field at the end of the form. The idea is that the form requires a number of informal e-signatures at the end of each section, and then a final and more formal digital signature at the end of the form. I found some script in a forum post that checks for required fields and throws a popup listing missing required fields when clicking a button I added and labeled "Verify Fields." But it won't recognize a signature field that has an e-signature added unless first clicking in the field and adding a space (or any keystroke). I'm guessing this is because the e-sign is an image of a signature lain over the field. I thought I might have better luck converting the form with e-signing options (Prepare form for

I have a form I created from excel into a fillable PDF in Acrobat Pro DC and have been noticing a trend when the form is filled in and returned to me. When I receive an email with the form I can preview the PDF and it shows that the fields are correctly filled in. However, when I open, or save, or print the PDF the fields are blank. If i click into one of the fields it will show me the data, but the text is illegiable as the font appears to duplicate over itself multiple times. And it only shows you one field. If you click into another field the previous one goes blank again. In most cases the signature field is the only one that remains on the page. Today is the first time that even the signature was blank. This has happened many times but I've always chalked it up to user error to be honest. However, it keeps happening that it just can't be. I would like to find a solution.

Hallo zusammen, in der Vergangenheit konnte ich über das Tool "Scan & OCR" & "Gescannte Datei verbessern" mehrere Dokumente aus einem Laufwerk problemlos in der Ansicht verbessern und auch eine Texterkennung durchführen lassen. Das ganze wurde dann in der Datei (ohne Änderung des Namens) gespeichert.  Wenn ich den Befehl heute ausführe, erhalte ich nur die Fehlermeldung "unbekannter Fehler" und es wird weder das Dokument verbessert noch die Texterkennung durchgeführt. Das gleiche gilt auch nur für die "Textverbesserung". Hat jemand einen Tipp, woran das liegen könnte? Vielen Dank & GrußFreddy

Hi everyone,I have a textbox with disappearing text and want to calculate the absolute value of another textbox. I added a custom calculation script in Properties > Calculate, but it overrides the disappearing text and shows "0" when there's nothing to calculate. Depuis 2 mois mon adobre acrobat pro ne fonctionne plus correctement.Il était lent et se bloquait à l'ouverture, j'ai donc suivi les consignes de désinstallation et réinstallation.Des techniciens adobe ont pris la main, Mais le problème était le même. Sous prétexte que les parefeux bloqués (sauf que cela fait 3ans que j'utilise Adobe normalement)Avec mon informaticien nous avons réussi à désactiver des sécurités afin que de le réinstaller et de l'utiliser.Sauf qu'il est toujours assez lent. Je modifie mes préférences mais lorsque je ferme pour réouvrir cela à tout effacé.J'essai de migrer vers la nouvelle version d'adobe acrobat mais rien ne se passe. Avec du recul les problèmes ont commencé quand Adobe n'a pas pu prélevé mon compte car ma carte était périmée donc y'a t'il un problème avec la licence ? ou autres choses ?Merci pour votre aide

Hello, I have created an application and made it pdf fillable.  However, the applicant must complete, sign and date it, then save it and forward it to their one up to review, sign and date it and one more after that. We seem to be having a problem after the applicant saves it, the one up cannot add their signature or date.Is there a way to fix it?  We can not do multiple signatures at one time nor do we have control of what format the applicant saves the intial document. Any suggestions? Thanking you all in advance.

I am looking to calculate sub totals dependant on a dropdown list, the field values change because the pages are based off a template. I want to be able to seperate the different sub totals and tally them based on categories across multiple pages. Help is most appreciated I been wracking my brain on how to solve this.
