Hi Adobe Community, I am using Adobe Acrobat on Windows 10 Home.Preferences -> General "Open PDFs automatically in Reader when they are downloaded in Chrome browser" is un-ticked.Regardless, Adobe Acrobat opens all files downloaded by Chrome from Gmail. Any advice would be much appreciated.

I'm exploring with the AI tool included in Acrobat (at the moment is not responding or working properly), and I'd like to know how this new tool can help in the daily work. In my case I work in packaging design. I work with artworks everyday and I need to check texts, colors, shapes and similar stuff. Is it possible to have some info about what this tool can do to save time in this kind of duty?Thanks

Is it possible to point Acrobat to a new server for the location of comments? Our file server that was hosting the comments has recently died and we have had to restore that data to a new location, but I can't find a way to tell Acrobat where to find the comments. Any help appreciated

Hi Team If I install Acrobate Pro as an app in my Office 365 account will this allow me to open Acrobate doscuments from a sharepoint folder in the Acrobate pro App and not the web browser, which is the current situation.I understand that changing the default Sharepoint view from Browser to App only works for Office365 apps currently, and that currently this feature is not supported for this third party apps like Acrobate Pro?

One of my users contacted the helpdesk about the "Copy To Clipboard" funtionality. I had never used it and all the online references I found point to "Edit -> More -> Copy File to Clipboard". I've looked at different Acrobat installations and they are not there either. All the workstations are running Acrobat Pro Continuous Release 2023.00.20380, 64-bit I found one related post here from back in May, of someone running Acrobat Pro 2023.001.20174 who, apparently, has that feature (but was having a different issue). Tks in advance.

I am unable to find the tool to create full text index with catalog in adobe acrobat standard.  the catalog plugin shows as instaled, but not loaded.    Does it need to be loaded in order to use it?  How do I load it?   catalogue api is found in the plug_ins folder.

In Word, when I use the Acrobat ribbon Create PDF (PDFMaker), alt text is only carried over in image 2 (out of 15 with alt text in Word). If I use the built in Word File > Save as, all 15 are in the .pdf. Is this a new / never fixed bug? 

Hi Team, I am trying to edit fields in a PDF form using the Prepare Form function: The PDF form is a minimum 2-page/maximum 7-page document. I am trying to access the Properties of all of these fields to update the Options: I can successfully edit reqdept1 and reqdept2#1 accessing their Properties (right-click, Properties).I cannot edit reqdept3, reqdept4, reqdept5, reqdept6 – if I right-click these fields, no menu appears – which seems to be because looking at only 2 pages, the fields are hidden therefore the Properties can’t be accessed.reqdept3, reqdept4, reqdept5, reqdept6 will only display for editing if I 'click here to purchase another item': The form has the capability to purchase a minimum of 1 item up to a maximum of 6 items on 1 PDF form (pages 1-6 inclusive), with page 7 reserved for Requestor details and Financial Approval.As the form by default needs to be limited to the original/minimum 2 pages, I do not want to display the other 5 pages in order to e

So I'm trying to get these radio button to change the selection from a drop down menu. The drop down menu is called "Golfers" and it has choices 0 - 8 with the export values of 0 = 0, 1 = 225, 2 = 450, 3 = 675, 4 = 900, etc. in intervals of 225 up to 8 = 1800. The Radio Group is called "Sponsors" and has 3 choices under it;"Deagle" has an export value of 4000"Eagle" has an export value of 2000and "Birdie" has an export value of 1000.I need it so if "Deagle" is selected from the radio choices, I need the drop down to change to 8 (or export value 1800).If "Eagle" is selected,  I need the drop down to change to 4 (or export value 900).If "Birdie" is selected,  I need the drop down to change to 2 (or export value 450). var golfersDropdown = this.getField("Golfers");var sponsorsRadio = this.getField("Sponsors"); if (sponsorsRadio.value === "4000") { golfersDropdown.value = "900"; } I thought this script might work for at least the Deagles section

Hi guys I am writing this more as a plea to the Adobe gods rather than any expectation that a solution exists. In fact, I have spent most of the day trying to find a solution online and the best answer so far is 'bad luck that's the way it is'. Anyway, after spending a fair bit of time building an interactive pdf in InDesign and adopting my own custom, branded icons for radio buttons and checkboxes, when I go to test in Adobe Acrobat Pro DC, I discover that Acrobat replaces all of my icons with its generic versions. Yes, I have gone to Prepare Agreement>Right click on icon and select properties then go to Options but there is no setting that turns off the Acrobat icons. So I am basically stuck with them. Remember, this is the world's premier design software, beautifully crafted where all the parts talk to one another really nicely. But as you are travelling down the Adobe highway, you hit a really big pothole with a sign next to it that reads (Microsoft was here).&nbs

Dear Adobe,You latest recent update to the Adobe Acrobat Pro including the Genrative AI has messed with the softwares user friendliness so much that I have had to switch to an alternative vendor for most of my PDF file creation and editing functions. For the features I still use like comments etc, the AI tool now gets in the way almost all the time and is impossible to get rid of. When my subsrciption ends I wont be renewing.

I have an iMacPro (2017) with Sequoia 15.3.2 and my printer  is HP Colo LaserJet M255dw. Since Sonoma and now too with Sequoia I can not print (or print on 2 sides either) many of my pdf's with Adobe Acrobat reader. (now version 2025.001.20432).When I press "print" my window shows the document and I select "print" the document my driver appears  (picture 1) as it should be (and it shows connection, see picture 2) and after some waiting the document is sent.But going to my printer it seems not to be activated and there is no document printed. When I print a Word document it works perfectly well.Please can anybody help me out?

Hello,I am trying to print a pdf download from the web. I have updated my Epson WF-7720 driver and use Sequoia 15.3.1 MacOS.I continually get a message that says Cannot Print. I can print from other applications on my desktop. Thanks so much for your help,Cathy

Over the last couple days I've had a problem where Acrobat keeps crashing when I try to search text in a PDF. Every time I search, the program immediately crashes and closes. I've restarted my computer and uninstalled/reinstalled the program several times, but this keeps happening. I am working from a Mac and my system is completely up to date. I've never had this problem searching before, and this is functionality I have to have. What else can I do to fix it?
