I feel like I know the answer already butWhen you covert to PDF from mail merge if you have 150 pages they save as "PDFMail Merge 1501" and then saving them using address' or another identifier is a painful process.Is there a way of them converting saving using a field name to make it easier rather than a laborious process of re-saving them all?

I've set up a template document which has some required fields in it for the signer (participant 1). I've set them all to participant 1 only. I also have a few  (not-required) fields which are to be prefilled by me. However when I try to send the document, it is requiring me to complete all the required fields despite them being set to participant 1, and won't let me send the document to said participant without completing them. Not sure what I'm misisng. Any help would be appreciated.

When I added personal images to my pictures folder and mistyped the name, I saw that there was a lock on the folder from AdobeCollabSync.exe on this folder.Why is adobe looking at my images, why is this process which appears to be syncing to some cloud?I have not given Adobe any permissions, specially since I don't have an account logged in to Acrobat Reader. What is this? It appears to be an invasion of privacy, in my opinion.Why does AdobeCollabSync look through pictures? What is it doing? Why was it installed in the first place!? To which account is it syncing to if I'm not logged into Reader?

Editing a pdf on acrobat web on firefox and I cant seem to find the "timeline or version history button anywhere

Hello,  I was browsing through my Acrobat Pro and noticed the benefits of partners from numerous platforms, including discounts.  However, when I go to redeem the discounts, Adobe does not provide the discount codes and will tell you to contact the partners ie (zoom 20% discount) (dropbox 5o%) (WeTranser 40 %) When I contact the partners, they are not aware of this discount partnership!  Has anyone else been successful in redeeming their benefits? The prices listed on the photo is the normal pricing~ no code is provided by either companies!! 

This sounds like a dumb question, and before today I would have thought so too. Basically, I'm looking to edit the page labels in a PDF so the first page has a blank label, the first 3 are i, ii, and iii, and then proper numbering starts. Before today, I've had no issues with this. Right click on the page thumbnail, labels, change the label. Sorted. Now, though, there is no Labels option, and clicking "Organise Pages" takes me to a browser site that still won't let me do what I want to do. I'm pulling my hair out over this, so hoping someone can help.  

Hey Leute,seit dem letzten Update in Acrobat Pro und im Reader "wackelt" es immer kurz kurz wenn man von einem Dokument zum anderen über die Registekarten wechselt. Schätze mal das soll ein neues Feature sein oder so... Allerdings gleiche ich seit 12 Jahren Dokumente visuell ab, in dem ich diese auf zwei Registerkarten nebeneinander lege und dann hin und herschalte. Dann sieht man eigentlich sofort, wo sich etwas geändert hat (Dokumente vergleichen kenne ich zwar, macht aber in meinem Fall nicht viel Sinn). Durch das Wackeln kann ich jetzt aber nicht mehr alles vernünftig erkennen 😞Kann man das ausschalten? Oder kann ich ein Downgrade machen wenn ich die Creative Cloud im Abo habe? Danke und Liebe Grüße!André

Hi, Can anyone cleairfy a couple of things? I have the Creative Cloud All Apps subscription, which I believe gives me Acrobat Pro. When I open the programme, the 'About' info just says Adobe Acrobat, not Pro. Are they the same?I'm trying to use the auto generate alt text that is meant to be an option under 'Accessibility' but the tool option on my mac is called 'Prepare for Accessibility' and the 'add alt text' doesn't give me the autogenerate option. Any ideas why this is? Thanks 

Hi all,  I'm adding tags manually to a pdf but they don't show up in the order panel. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling. If I auto-tag they do show up, but the auto-tag is not something I can use because they need to be adjusted/modified.

I am using Adobe Acrobat Pro (About info below) and am unable to turn off Reflow for a document. I am having trouble with the switch line in a script I am trying to create.  I am trying to get a text field to autofill with specific account number when the account type is selected from the dropdown button. I have tried using dropdownValue and eventValue as well putting a dot in between and still have the same syntax error each time.

So, I am working through an estate resolution and got a pdf from a financial institution.  I opened it in Acrobat Reader on a PC and was able to fili in the form and check the boxes.  I brought the file back home weith me and need to make some changes but it doesn't work on either my Win 10 or win 11 PCs with Acrobat Reader???  I can't edit the text lines or make the check boxes.  Is there a solution for this?  And, no, I am not getting a subscription to full Acrobat for this one-time use.

Dear community, could anyone please give me a clue how to solve this problem?It is about a book for learning French as a foreign language, it is aimed at mother tongue English students. My task is to make this book accessible. The main language of the document is English, the second language is French.In this book there are several vocabulary lists. Each word and its translation are in the same paragraph: they have the same paragraph style in InDesign but the translation (English) has a character style applied. Through the 'Object Properties Pane' in AcrobatPro, I'm try to designate the FRENCH language to the specific words, but it doesn’t work, unfortunately. As both words belong to the same paragraph it seems that these could be read (assistive technologies) either in English or in French. Is there a way in Acrobat Pro to split the paragraph and make possible to assign a second language for the words in French?I really hope there is a solution …&nbs

i have a suscription to Creative Cloud and im trying to use adobe acrobat pro sign features to create templates documents. when a try to "create e-sign template" i got the subject error .... "Request e-signature services aren't available at this time" same for: * Request e-signatures* Create a web form* Send in bulk* Add e-sign branding Only 2 are working: * Add a signature* Fill & sign wich are the option for sign myself. Please Help!

Recently I am having issues converting my pptx files to pdf.  I'm on Windows 7, Powerpoint 2007 and have tired both Acrobat 10.1.2 as well as Acrobat 9.5.When I choose save as PDF from Powerpoint, it publishes BUT, many of the images (created in powerpoint with clip art and shapes) are disappearing from the PDF.  Some of my pptx files have converted without issue (using the combination of pptx & Acrobat 10.1.2)  - however, if I go back in an make even a simple change (even to text) it will NOT convert to PDF accurately - once again images go missing and I get an error message.I have tried repairing my Acrobat - that didn't change the results. I also tried going to an earlier version of Acrobat reader and that didn't work either.  I even uninstalled and re-installed Acrobat, re-started my computer - etc. I'm at a bit of a loss - since I've not had issues in the past?  This issue seems recent - within the last couple of months.  Any ideas where else I mi

I'm a premium member and on my iPhone it will not let me edit documents... it keeps saying I need a subscription, so I click on buy subscription and then it proceeds to tell me what I already know... that I already have a subscription!  Then it starts doing the thinking circle thingy and never stops.  I have to exit out of the app to get it to stop.  I've tried deleting the app and re downloading it, still same issue.  I need help to fix this!

Hi All, I am trying to figure out how to make an Adobe form read only after the form has been filled and saved. How can I do this? At the moment, the form is still editable after it has been saved. Is there a way to set the form as read only after it has been saved?Thanks

Hello,In Acrobat version 2005.001.20438 (generated by InDesign 2025) I had to search for some single accented letters. Unfortunately, all non-accented letters are also found. For example: "à" also finds "a", "è", finds all "e" etc.I attach a screenshot.Have you encountered the same problem and a possible solution?Thanks for the possible response.I attach a screenshot.

My desktop PC with Acrobat Pro 17  and Photoshop Elements 15 installed, crashed completely last week. I had an IT-technician fixing it, but there was absolutely no possibility to deinstall any software from the crashed PC. We had to set it up completely new. This is why my license numbers are now blocked! How can I activate my license numbers again??I do not like the idea to throw away working (lifetime!) software, I paid for some years ago.   <<The serial number was removed from the post by Adobe Moderator. >>
