Hi I am having trouble with the Digital Signature Block in Adobe Acrobat Pro. My goal is to create a field that shows the "Sign Here" flag in the upper-left corner, so that when a person clicks the box they are prompted to sign using secure Adobe e-sign with their password-protected Adobe ID credentials. I was able to add a Digital Signature Block field, however when I exit out of the Prepare a Form menu the field only displays as a regular text field. It allows me to enter text but it does not include the "Sign Here" flag and does not prompt me to sign using my Adobe password-protected credentials. I have followed the troubleshooting steps below. I have also read this related article in the Adobe Community (which appears to be the same problem) but the article does not help me resolve this issue.  Would greatly appreciate some assistance. The screenshots furher below show the field as I added it, the Properties settings for the field, and finally how the field appe

I am having a very frustrating experience with signatures using Acrobat Pro 2024. It's outrageous to me that the system only lets you create one signature and one set of initials at a time. The way I've been getting around this when both my wife and I need to sign something is to delete one signature, add another, then add it to the document. Now the system won't let me even delete the existing signature. I click the "X" next to the name and nothing happens (see attached screen shot). Why is this so difficult?!!!!!!

I would like to request a full refund for the last two months, as we unintentionally forgot to cancel our Adobe subscription. The service was only used during the first week of the initial test, but the subscription remained active, resulting in charges for both the first and second months. However, we did not use the platform beyond that initial test, which you can verify through the system’s audit log. Given that the subscription was left active by mistake and remained unused, I am requesting a full refund for both months.

The share button is completely broken now: I just want to attach my PDF to an email. I don't want to share a link or share for approval or feedback.

For the past month, all of my users with an Adobe Acrobat license have been experiencing significant slowdowns when opening and editing documents with Acrobat.On some newer machines, regardless of whether they have the paid or free version, the program fails to open unless we manually change the compatibility settings to a different operating system. Given that this is a paid software, I find it unacceptable that it behaves this way.Additionally, printing documents from Acrobat has become extremely slow—loading the print dialog alone takes at least two minutes. These issues started occurring after the recent updates.Could you please provide clarification on when these problems will be resolved?

One of our users at our company reported this issue to me. The "Specify where to sign" and "More Options" buttons do nothing when clicked. I tested and confirmed. I already checked for updates and updated Reader to the latest version. I then tested and the same result. I then ran a repair of Acrobat and the result is still the same. We were running Acrobat version 24.005.20320, then upgraded to version 24.005.20399.

So this is something new for me! I figure I'd start here in the Acrobat group before moving over to the InDesign, as users here seem to be more hip to the lingo. Anyway. I've just exported an interactive PDF from a short 20-page InDesign layout. Content within IND is set up correctly for text, Heading tag associations within the paragraph style Export Tagging fields, alt text for imagery, etc., but upon export and review of the PDF only 5 articles tags were created of nearly 20 articles within the document. When I select a line of text to search the Tag Structure Tree to Find Tag from Selection, the selected content is not found. I've combed through my IND layout checking the layers panel on the off chance text frames may have  been dropped into a template or background folder, I've checked the Object Export Properties on page content that is not showing in the Tag Tree, confirmed the same paragraph styles are in place, and I've exported to both interactive and print PDF

Hello! I have Adobe Pro through my organisation. When I select request e-signatures there is an infomration box saying that I do not have permissions and to contact my administrator.  I have done this and they have looked and checked at the subscription and my system and everything is correct. We have also checked other Pro users and they have the ability to complete this task. Could somone please help provide an alternative solution to this problem. Your help is appreciated. 

It would be great if Adobe would have an Acrobat option that reflected the wider Creative Cloud suite. Acrobat has always been an odd man out in the Adobeverse, but the past few iterations have become obtuse and non-intuitive even by Adobe's standards. The most irritating aspect is the dramatic changes to the interface as "features" have been added. The Creative Cloud apps (while certainly bloated and complicated) are at least fairly consistent from one version to the next. Those of us who use Creative Cloud apps regularly are likely frequent users of Acrobat. Dealing with one family of Adobe apps is irritating enough. Adding another constantly "improving" program really sucks out what little joy remains when using Adobe products. I recognize there is a large universe of Acrobat users who don't use Creative Clouds apps, so it is unlikely Adobe would apply Cloud's dense GUI to Acrobat. But perhaps they could release a streamlined version that would allow CC users to more easily use Acro

I apologize if I asked this before, but it has been a tough week and my brain is totally zapped.I have a doc which (originally) is A4 portrait. I want to print 4 instances at half size, 2 on each side of a landscape A4 paper. Now I know I could do this by telling it to print pages 1,1. But there is only one page in the PD file so it greyed out those options:SoSo as you can see, it is only giving me one instance and I want two on each side of the page (have auto-duplex printer) How to?Thank youSusan Flamingo

Hi I am trying to figure out a way to help automate a header process. Below is my header that I want to create. As you can see, the center and part of the right column I want to make dynamic to reference the folder name and the first part of the file name. New to this- from what i have researched this seems possible using a set of guided actions that incorporates javascripts. Overall I want to click 1 action and have acrobat do the following:1. Flatten PDF2. Shrink PDF contents so that adding header does not interfere with contents, maintains uniform margins across all files.3. Add custom header as shown below4. Save PDF Would be even better if I can select multiple PDFs to all run at the same time.  All my file names have a "_" after the fixture type which should help when creating a script to retrieve the partial file names.

Desperate for help here. Adobe is the root cause of deep frustrations. I bought Adobe Acrobat Pro 2022 with a lifetime license in November of 2024. Have been using it with no issues until two days ago. I use it HEAVILY for my business to make updates for quotes for my customers. It's a simple > click edit > move some boxes and images around > print as a pdf > done. Well suddenly it isn't allowing me to do that, it is for some reason not allowing me to just click and hold and drag the cursor over to just "grab" everything within the selected window. It is like recognizing every individual "box" or text and I can only move what it's recognizing. And, the box for "recognize text" is un-checked. How the heck to fix this so I can do what I was doing before?! This leads me to my next issue which at the moment is the more problematic one.. I thought - well maybe I need to update adobe. I ran the update, it completes, and now the dumb thing is telling me I don't have an active

Hi,My problem is that my brand fonts somehow doesn't want to convert from power point to acrobat when saving from:- Save As (pdf)- Export (pdf) I have also tried the embedding and nothing. Only when tryeing to print and then save as pdf the font stays right but large white frames appear around the slide (16:9). I'm using MacbookPro and everything is uptodate so that's not the issue. I have downloaded the font from my adobe creative cloud and all the versions of the font can be used in Power Point. What to do? I love this font and would be so shame to change it into something else. In my daily work it's needed to wrap the client presentation into pdf format to be sent via email. I would love any kind of help! I am in Acrobat Pro 2017I have forms I have to fill out from different schools and organizations to register our officers.  Sometimes the fillable fields change font size as the text I enter fills the box.  But sometimes the font size doesn't change.  Also, sometimes it doesn't change systematically. So for example: I have 3 phone number fields.  I've entered 3 different phone numbers in the exact same format.  But each of these fields end up being a different size.  I am trying to edit the text I enter in the fillable fields but I can't figure out how to do that.  I read in a comment from a year ago that said to go to edit form and right click on a form field.  All that did was allow me to edit the existing form fields not the fillable form fields. I also would like to ask if there is a way to have certain form fill fields be saved while still having certain form fill fields that I can fill out each time I enter a new officer.  I'd like to

I have a document which I have pdf but the margins are 25mm in the print setting and I cannot chnage them.  I have given the oringin document 0mm margins but the pdf print margins I cannot change.  Does anyone know how to do this please?  Thank you 

Have a form with calculations and currency codes, but the currency codes do NOT actually pull in any live data, they are there merely to indicate what currency is being used.We need a way to manually enter the currency code being used in one position on the form and then have it update everywhere else in the document OR using a dropdown, choose the currency code and then have that update/change the currency code wherever it appears (see attached).Any ideas?Never done any scripting so if that is involved will need some very simple step by step instructions please.Thanks in advance!

I have a pdf with a valid signature (written with my own routines). Adobe says "valid".If I add another signature, the Adobe acrobat (newest version) shows first sig invalid.My verification says "valid", Foxit-Reader says "valid", the DSS Demonstration WebApp page from the EU says "valid".So, what can cause the "invalid"-info in Adobe?The pdf was created with libreoffice writer 7.4The xref of the original pdf is not segmentedI didn't make any changes between the signaturesThe first signature don´t use restrictions (DocMDP, etc), also the pdf didn'tIf I click "view signed version" and the report I got some issues (see picture)Can someone give me a hint/ where I need to look at?Bernd

Hi! I have a question regarding Adobe Acrobat Reader toolbar settings. I know I can configure my own toolbar however I want to, e.g., adding a "Previous View" button for easy access to that command. Is there a way to include in an individual PDFs settings that whenever someone opens my PDF with Adobe Acrobat Reader, they will see the "Previous View" button on their toolbar by default? (Even if they haven't added it to their toolbar themself). I know that I can add a "Previous View" button directly onto the PDF itself by using Adobe Pro and completing the following steps: Tools > Interactive Objects > Add Button. But this is not the solution I'm looking for. I want to know if there's a way to add a permanent "Previous View" button on the toolbar of everyone using Adobe Reader to view my PDF. 

In vielen PDF Programmen gibt es direkt einen Button für Textfelder mit Rahmen und dann auch extra mit Füllung. Bei Adobe verzweifle ich, es gibt ja gar kein Textfeld wo ich einen Rahmen formatieren kann. Ich kann nur einen Kasten ringsrum Zeichnen, aber der sitzt meist nicht mittig. Gibt es eine Lösung, ist meine meiner schon schwach für so ein teures Programm
