I downloaded forms online and wanted to unlock the forms to combine them all together. However, the spacing or field formatting changed after unlocking the forms: This is the form field that I'm trying to edit: This is how the form field in the locked version behaves. Even if I backspace all the text, the indent and paragraph spacing above doesn't change: This is the unlocked version. I'm trying to get the text to start after "Other (specify):" Does anyone know how to go about changing the form field text properties so that it can be formatted the same as the locked version? I know that you can enable Rich Text Formatting and add the indentation and paragraph spacing, however it reverts back to default when backspaced, which does not happen on the locked version.
I get pdf docs for work with numerous embedded links each month. I have Windows 10, Adobe Acrobat XI Pro, and use Firefox as my browser. Before January 1, 2025, I would simply click on a link, and it would open in another window. BUT the links won't open in docs received from the same source after January 1. Instead I get a message that says: However, I can't find any solution to this issue online or on Adobe, and my company's techs are stumped. I also have the newer Adobe Acrobat 2025.001.20432-64bit. Same problem as Acrobat XI Pro. Any help is much appreciated.
I have a PDF that says it's fillable, but when I open it in Acrobat and Reader, I can't enter any information into the form fields. As soon as I try, it asks for a password. I don’t have the password, and I’m not trying to bypass or recover it. When I check the file’s security settings, it shows thatfilling of form fieldsprintingdocument assemblysigningtemplate pages are all allowed. So I’m not sure why it’s behaving this way. Am I missing something? Or is this possibly a damaged or misconfigured file? Just trying to figure out whether I need to go back and ask for a different version. Thanks in advance.Tim
To whom it may concern: We are looking for a solution to analyze the contents of an Adobe PDF file that is part of a discovery that contains 17,155 pages with a wide range of documents. We would like a solution that does the following: It should look for payments to anyone, on behalf or or to settle the bill of anyone and organize by payee and payor, providing date, amount, and reason for payment; It should identify the page numbers HMS..." and also page # in the PDF; There should be a number of lists, e.g., by document page #, by date, by any o the classifications set out in this email or discovered by AI. There are headings, see e.g. document page #s 1. 17, 70, 115, 443, 1658, etc. It should provide a table of contents by headings.
I have a book that I am printing with 9 different signatures. Each signature has 16 pages. This particular signature is showing all the pages correctly in the preview but is not printing two of the pages. All of the pages are 8.5x11 printed onto Tabloid/Ledge paper in Landscape. The two pages that are not printing were created in Adobe Photoshop and saved as a Photoshop PDF, and then inserted into the PDF via Adobe Acrobat. All the pages are the same size and resolution. I've highlighted the pages that aren't printing. Any idea why this might be happening? I've tried resaving and reinserting the PDFs with the same result.'
Hi there! I've seen a bunch of posts on this issue, but most of them advise to fix it in Acrobat Pro. My problem is I ONLY have InDesign 2025 (v20.1 x64) I've set the tab order by:Object ... Interactive ... Set Tab OrderWindow ... ArticlesThe form layers (ordering the fields top to bottom) None of these are working when I export the form. Sometimes the tab order breaks down after the first 7 or 8 fields, sometimes less. I am checking the "Use Structure for Tab Order" when exporting. Can anyone assist? (please do NOT tell me to do it in Acrobat 😂)
I need to scale a land survey sent to me in a PDF. I'm a beginner! Which Adobe platform do I need to purchase to be able to do this task?
I have recently switched from Acrobat Pro DC to Acrobat Pro 2020 (desktop version). I am on Windows 11 Pro. We have a .kpfl library that has been working great with the DC version for the past six months. However, when I try to import the library, I get the error "No file found" - though when I restart the program, the title of the library is found in the list of libraries, but the body is empty. We installed Acrobat Pro 2020 on another Windows machine and found the same behavior. If I send the exact same file to a coworker who uses DC, they are able to import and use the library. I've attempted to get help through Adobe Support and no one seems to understand the problem or know how to fix it.
I'm using Acrobat Pro 2023 in conjunction with MS Edge to open pdf files on a webpage. The Edge browser locks up when I attempt to open the PDF and the PDF does not open. In Adobe Prefernces I tried turning off Potected View and that resolved the issue. I'm concerned that this method may pose a security risk. Is there somehting else I can try to resolve this? Thanks
I have installed the Roboto Suite from Adobe Fonts and when I check Adobe CC, it shows that the fonts are installed. When I go to Adobe Acrobat to edit my documents, only two Roboto fonts from the 28 that should be there populate. I have done everything from rebooting, removing fonts, reinstalling fonts, and more. Has anyone seen this issue and have resolved?
Hello! I am reaching out to see if there is help for this issue. We have been using Adobe Sign to collect employee signatures for some time. Recently we discovered that some of the signatures are not being saved onto the form after some time. Adobe says that the documents is certified... yet we can't see the signatures. Is there a reason for this or a solution?
Why? Why do you "creators" feel a need to completely change the layout of toolbars, etc. in a program?! Do you have nothing to do so you just search out what you can do to aggravate us? Adobe Acrobat DC is now TOTALLY different in the toolbar layouts! WHY???
Dear people, I have a problem when creating a pdf from a word document. A 'fly poop' appears under all the numbers of the footnotes in the text. How can I prevent this?
Hi! I'd like to know if there is any way of designing an A5 standard layout where to place several pre-designed pdf as blocks. The final output is a price list made of existing labels, to be aligned as it was a one column chart. It would be super easy with elementor on wordpress e.g.As it has to be modified then pronted into each single store of a retail chain, and they already use acrobat, i'd like to know if it's feasible. TIA!
Hi community, I am a beginner but I have managed to create a T&Cs PDF using Adobe Acrobat Pro version 2024.005.20414|64 bit where I have added the Agree and Disagree buttons at the bottom. I then sent this forward to my co-worker the intention was, once the agree is pressed the full report is displayed. I have tried this myself and it works. To create the action, I added a button --> Trigger: Mouse Up --> Action Execute a menu item --> Open a file and thenlinked a file is in my local drive. Now I believe this is the root cause of the problem as my co-worker and any other recepients can't access the linked file. Do you have suggestions of how I can achieve the same result of displaying the full report only when the terms and conditions have been agreed? I have seen this done before where I have had a PDF open a full report only after I agreed to the terms and conditions. Open to any suggestions my theory is that I would need to somehow incorporate
We have been using Microsoft Aptos 11pt font in Word for our corporate documents, however, there have been some issues when converting the documents to Acrobat. I'm attaching 2 screenshots of the same thing at different magnifications. Aptos 11pt font - Acrobat magnification 75% Aptos 11pt font - Acrobat magnification 110% Is there any way to fix this issue?? I've used the High Quality Print in the Acrobat print driver (this seemed to work for a while); I've embedded the fonts in Word but those things aren't helping any more and I need a solution. Also, 11pt font no matter the type size displays as 10.98pt in Acrobat but I doube if there any fix for that issue. Please help!
To reproduce:1. Click Edit PDF.2. Choose Header and footer.3. Type some text and choose the Font drop-down. Expected: The font variation (i.e. Arial Black, Arial Bold) is included in the name.Actual (screenshot): Only the font name is shown making it very tedious to select the font you actually need. This occurs in 2025.001.20438 on Mac. Windows is working fine for me.
Why on earth would you people make such a drastic and unneccary change to the layout, tool bar locations, interface, icon appearance and formatting all at the same time and leave us absolutely no way to custominze or rearrange anything like we could before?!?!?!?!?!?!This is the most frustrating and worthless update I have ever experiences in nearly 20 years of active use of this product. It's like you are begging your customers to give up and switch to BlueBeam or some other software that I hate using but might actually hate less than this ridiculous change. I am beyond angry at the thoutht of how many hours, days and weeks of productivity I am about to lose at having to figure out how to navigate this garbage.
request signature crashes each time i click on it. I get the error in the screenshot attached. How do i repair this
Hello everyone! I am a bit confused with validation function in Adobe Acrobat. I have a form that I need to fill in and validate. After I filled it in, it generated a barcode, but now I see a mistake in the form and need to edit it. My question is - if I revalidate it, will the barcode reflect the new edits or I need to fill in a brand new form and validate it?Thank you!

This morning at 10 a.m. PST, my PDF via Adobe Axrobat was fine with all my edits over the weekend. I screenshared. The rep was unable to help change bold texts to normal or any of my other requests. He pushed for AI. I agreed. We worked on the PDF for an hour. with multiple saves by him on the floppy disk icon in the upper right corner. When I opened my file a couple of hours later. I had multiple boxes with x in them. The first rep removed Adobe from my computer and the senior rep - said it was a font issue and to do everything in Word. DOES THE COMMUNITY KNOW HOW TO TELL ME HOW TO REVERT THE FILE THAT GOT THE BOXES WITH THE X? DID THE REP TAKE MY BOOK AND SAVE FOR HIS PURPOSE THE BOOK ON FILE? NEED SOME REASSURANCE ON THIS. AND, IS THERE ANYONE WHO CAN EASILY HELP ME REVERT TO THE ORIGINAL? OH, AND HOW DO I GET RID OF AI. THANKS, TERESA
I had to sign a document for a business. I added my signature to the document - today I recieved automatic emails that I "signed" two other documents. I never signed them, they somehow used my signature to sign the documents. How do I turn off this feature and how do I remove my signature? I dont know what happened. I dont know if they saved my signature to their business account or what. I am going to flag it for reported abuse but in the mean time is there anything I can do on my side to make sure they never use my signature again? In all instances ,even the time I did sign, it says: My nameMy emailRole: SignerAuthentication: NoneDelivery: EmailIdentity check: None
I've searched and searched without being able to find an answer that works. I have a form that I need someone to fill out but it needs to be sent under a password. Every field completely vanishes as soon as I put a password on it. I've attempted Save As: Other - Optimized PDF, which gets me met with long errors talking about incompatibilities with older versions. I'm at a complete loss, having been trying to make this work for a few months. I'm using Acrobat Pro version 2025.001.20435 64bit.
Hi,I need signing with digital ID/certificate. Adobe Reader can see my certificate, but prepaid Adobe Acrobat PRO cannot see same certificate.Where is the problem with Adobe Acrobat PRO?Thank you,Jirina
