Hi - I need to get an agreement signed and witnessed. I want the witness to complete the signature box electronically (after the signatory) but not to receive a copy of the agreement afterwards (for confidentiality reasons). How do I switch this functionality off? Thanks!

Acrobat Pro DC 2021thi is a PDF postage label and it is right on the LH edge of the page.I need to make it smaller to fit on the item to be posted so I shrink the label.But It seems that if I shrink a page Adobe shrinks the whole page including the margins (which I undertand are set to the printers limits) and there seems no way to change these page margins.the result is when I shrink a page and print I lose the left hand characters on each line If I go into Organise pages and say center the page it displays centered but when I print , the print is still left justified.How can I fix this 

I bought 2 days ago Adobe convert from pdf to word. BUT I can not convert my document. Then I want to cancel membership. I did not see the option. Please help me How to cancel the membership? Thank you.

Looking to find a way to have multiple pages in adobe that are all hidden by default, until the user of the form will click a button, or select an item from a drop down menu, that will unhide the respective page that they need. example, I am creating a tool that has about 4 or 5 different checklists, but i do not want all of them to show up at the same time when opening the document. instead i have a master sheet where the user will select which type of chechlist they need to fill out. once they select the type of checklist they want, i am hoping that adobe can show the selected checklist on the next page. if possible can you assist me with the appropriate java scripting for the use of a "List" in adobe that will unhide the relevant pages based on the selection. also i am new to adobe so if pages need to be hidden can you assist me with the scripting to that as well. for your reference, the checklists that need to be hidden/revealed are"Personal Check

One site requested additional verification of my signature on a document. I found it possible to save the signature certification document in adobe acrobat only in .fdf, .cer and .p7c format. But the site asked me to upload the file in pdf format only. I could not find any converter to convert these files to pdf, just like I could not find any option to save this document in pdf. Could you please advise me how I could do this?

In the attached file, after adding an annotation with Acrobat, the last signature is verified as valid However, after saving and reopening.While tried to validate this error message displayed:Error during signature verification.Unexpected byte range values defining scope of signed data.Details: The signature byte range is invalid I get this error for adobe Acrobate pro  2024.005.20320 

There is an issue printing web pages from Chrome and Edge using the Adobe PDF printer (which does not appear to have been updated since the Obama administration - it still looks exactly as it has for the past ten years, and still only has 1b as a PDF/A option): the resulting PDFs contain only the T1 font, are not searchable, and the text cannot be selected. (It selects in tall blue lines - see screenshot.) Copying and pasting the text yields only gibberish.There is no fix for PDFs created this way; they cannot be re-OCRred (even after removing hidden text), nor can they be edited with the Edit tool.Increasingly I have seen this in PDFs created by the courts, and the only way we can work with them is to print and re-scan them. How to create hyperlink in adobe acrobat PDF?

Good afternoon, I am unsure if this is the correct location to post this inquiry, but I am having a difficult time creating, adding, editing, and deleting my personal signature using Adobe Acrobat Pro. What I have read, so far, is that once a signature and/or initials are entered into a PDF document, it/they cannot be edited, deleted, and replaced. Is this correct? I wanted to change my current signature, which was a practice one, to my original signature. Thank you.

Hi,  I am using Adobe DC professional and since we moved to Windows 10 (coincidence??) when I now open a PDF the thumbnails open by default on the left hand side, which drives me nuts.  In an earlier version, I turned this off, but am unable to on this one. I can do it once I have opened the document, but I have to do it every time.. First world problems 😛I would appreciate any advice, thanks...

I have a document that is over 1200pgs, and is made up of several other combined PDFs. When I try to add a header or footer for the purpose of doing page numbers, I get the message: An error was encountered while retrieving page content. How do I get around this error message to be able to add page numbers to my document?

Hello everyone,Is there a quick way/function to remove all blank pages that only have page numbers/a maximum number of characters?This is possible manually and can also be done with documents that do not consist of too many pages. If it is a scanned document, I sometimes come across documents where only the odd pages are blank. Then it is just a matter of plotting only the even pages with Adobe.The problem is that I also have documents of >500 pages, which contain a lot of blank pages and these are also spread criss-cross through the document.Doing it manually will take me a while.Anyone have an idea?Thanks

Hi, I had to sign an offer and therefore had to print it and then scan it. The document is now available as PDF but when I try to save it to PDF/A it shows error.   

Hello,I have done this :1) I have created a A4 blank page in Acrobat Pro.2) on another PDF I select a part of a text and click on "copy the image", so it copy the selected text. 3) In the created blank page, in edit mode I paste this "copied image" (made of text). I do the same with another text (I copy it and paste it inside the created blank page). So I have this result in the created blank page (it is like a collage between two parts of text) :  Problem : this one page created blank page made of text only has 2.2 MB file size.I have done "compress PDF", but I have always 1.7 MB for a single page of text. Here are my settings :I understand that this collage of 2 images of text makes this file being big (2.2 MB or 1.7 MB).But my goal is to have something like 150 KB or 200 KB file size for one page of text (collage), while keeping good quality results. How to do this ? 

I have Adobe Acrobat Pro and I'm not sure why I am unable to highlight objects? Only text.Reading instructions from a google seearch, it instructs to go to the comments tab, (which I don't have). I only have a comments tools and it doesn't have highlight capabilites. When I select the highlighter, it only highlights text. Trying to mark up a file for someone and I need this capability. Hi there, I am including keystroke script so that typed fillable text is automatically underlined. This shows up when opened in Acrobat, but does not show up when opened up in a browser (Google Chrome and Edge). Is there any way I can make the underline code OR the blue boxes show up on print. I'm concerned my users won't open the document in Adobe, only in Google/Edge. Thank you!

Hi, Dear Friends! I have a PDF file of over a thousand scanned images. I have to review each page to see if the scan is correct. I don't always do one page after another, but I jump around. Just went to shut down my computer and the following message popped up on my screen.     Firstly: is it even possible for Adobe software installs to cause damage to my computer? Secondly: has anyone ever seen this message before? I've never had an active Adobe install interrupt shutting down of the computer!   I want to check this as it feels suspiciously out of character for Adobe and also if they have changed and this is now what happens, we need to know.   Thank you

My Adobe Acrobat 8 Professional just decided that it needed to be reactivated and Adobe doesn't do it anymore?   It fails on an internet authorization which always worked in the past. If you call the phone activation line, it says we don't do it anymore. If you chat with an adobe person they say it must be done in forums?   I love Adobe products (especially PS and LR) and use them extensively, but I am thinking about punting all of them if they decide to take your money for a product and then decide to stop allowing you to use it. I understand stop supporting it, but preventing you from using it is a separate matter.
