So I want to shrink it to the same size as others, specifically, to 8.263 in x 11.695 in. I read the article here which uses Preflight to scale a page. But maybe because I am working on Windows 10, the "Scale pages to specified size" fixup does not exist (please disregard the one I created in the screeshot below):So, I decided to create one according to this article. However, I don't know what I should set in the "Adjustment" option. What is worse, since I only need to shrink the first page, I don't want to apply the fixup to all pages. But I did not find "First page" or "Specified page(s)" that I expect in the dropdown menu of "Apply to".So, can you please tell me what the "Adjustment" option I should choose for shrinking, and how to specify "Apply to" to apply the fixup to the cover page only? I created a form field while editing a pdf and I accidently created two. The form field tab number is zero and when i right click on it and hit delete it does not delete. if i enter any information into this box the information does not stay. I have no idea why this one form field will not delete. any other new one i make will go away. please help

I have a copy of Acrobat Standard DC (2015) purchased with my Dell computer in December. When I started up this morning, I got a message "Error 28000: Installation of Acrobat Licensing Module has failed." I went into Arobat, which said "Installation Problem - IMSLib not found". I also got a message "Adobe Application Manager, required to verify your license, is missing or damaged. Please download a copy of AAM from www.adobe.com/go/applicationmanager".And the update failed (error 28000 - and directed me to rollback options).That link takes me to CC desktop, and I tried installing that program, which resulted in a "failed to insatll - error code 50" message.I tried installing the latest update from inside Adobe, but got "What next? I tried renaming the OOBE folder in program files (x86)/common files/adobe but it says a file is in use (everything is closed and I shut down any adobe background tasks I could find (one by one)).Ideas? Suggestions?

Hello, i got this message from my Adobe Acrobat DC saying the following ; An error has been detected with a required application library or file and the product cannot continue. Please reinstall the application.Hence, i proceeded to download adobe reader only to find out i can't restore my pruchase of the pro version. Please note that i've been using the 2018 version of Adobe Acrobat Dc Pro, and i didn't sign in unfortunatly into this app, and now i cant benefit from the unlocked features. What am i supposed to do now?  Thank you

Hi Guys,I've built a 21up sticker sheet (A4) with a PMS dieline for the cutting shape. And then that has turned into 553 individual pages. The usual printer that uses these artwork files is OK with this setup. It has now been sent to an external supplier which wants the dieline removed (so just artwork on the page now). Just seeing if there is a short cut to remove the PMS colour or give it a 0% so it can't be seen. Can I remove the PMS colour for the dieline with an action in acrobat. It's a lot of work to have to re-PDF all the individual 553 pages again.Thanks,Trevor

Testerday we did the Apple IOS Sequia Update to version 15.3.2 Suddenly all the pdf files are not showing fonts or text and the background is gone bad.    Can anyone help? I have re-installed the app, cheched the settings and cannot find any visible errors.    Please if you can help, email me [Private info removed] this is an urgent request as it is affecting my collegues.    Anyone else with the problem? I have attached the 2 files examples. 

In "\HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{98D9A6F1-4696-4B5E-A2E8-36B3F9C1E12C}\LocalServer32", the command '"C:\Program Files\Adobe\Acrobat DC\AcrobatInfo.exe" /PDFShell' is registered, which is obviously incorrect. The correct path should be "C:\Program Files\Adobe\Acrobat DC\Acrobat\AcrobatInfo.exe".I hope you can fix this bug soon.

I'm suddenly being inundated with a pop up message saying "update to the latest version for continued access to adobe document cloud". How can I turn off this message? I have zero interest in using the cloud and prefer not to update. I've been burned too many times by updates. The current version works fine (other than this constant pop-up message). I want to continue using it as is but need to stop this message. Thank you.

(Mac oS X high Sierra, Pro DC Build: 19.21.20058.359605) This started happening with last Acrobat Pro DC update - while working ongoing on an ai or indd file and saving a pdf to my desktop, the pdf does NOT update. In other words, if I make a change to the ai or indd file and save over the pdf Acrobat will not update the file. Even if I delete the pdf and save a pdf to the desktop with same file name the change will not take effect. Quitting Acrobat and reopening does not help. I have to change the pdf file name in order for the change to take effect.  Below is three tests from one file, saved pdf, save over, and quit and resave. The right side is the pdfs and they do not update. No amount of quitting or deleting older pdfs is fixing this one. I appreciate any help but please do not suggest the following:1) quitting acrobat and reopening (doesn't work)2) changing file names constantly (file names have to follow a set guideline per my employer)3) deleting and reinstalling Acro

I have one question about changing the order of executing the fixups  in Custom Preflight Profiles...Ive build a Custom Preflight Profile. It needs to be executed in right order in order to make changes in a way it should be done...Its custom DTP problem of fixing the dimensions book in PDF format...Ive made a Custom fixup. It consists of 5 Fixups and i need them to be executed in right order... i mark them from 1-5  http:// but when i run the fixup it changes the order of execution so it ends up like this...of course because of changed order fixup didnt fulfill its purpose...is there some way to force order of executing the fixups?i couldn't find the logic behind this onethank you!

I can see the entire file with the built-in preview for Mac and even web Acrobat but couldn't do it on the local Acrobat app. It's so frustrating, could someone let me know how to resolve this?

I have tried so many solutions, but none seem to work. I have 5 checkboxes with a single name to make them a group.  I have the Export value of each box set to 1 thru 5 respectively. When I check the check box with the export value set to 1, I am trying to get the TextField1  to show the phrase "1-Low" without the quotes of course. If the check box with the export value set to 2 is checked, I am trying to get TextField1 to show "2-Medium" etc... I can change to radio buttons if nessasary. Check box with export value 1 = TextField1 value = 1-LowCheck box with export value 2 = TextField1 value = 2-MediumCheck box with export value 3 = TextField1 value = 3-HighCheck box with export value 4 = TextField1 value = 4-CriticalCheck box with export value 5 = TextField1 value = 5-EmergencyIf none of the check boxes are checked, the TextField1 would be blank. Any help would be sure appreciated.

I have found the "Add Text Comment" (no border) in the new version but I cannot get it to "wrap" at the end of the document right margin, ie, to automatically drop down one line (single space) and return to the same column as where the text comment first started.  Has that been eliminated so I have to do it manually if the text comment exceeds one line?  

I'm trying to solve a mystery for a friend.   He's trying to combine a number of documents into a PDF using Windows, however the documents he created from an EXCEL file are importing larger than the word documents.  They're still an 8.5 x 11 ratio, however they're 2x or even 3x as large. Is there any reason this is happening and is there a way to prevent or override whatever setting he's using? We're using Acrobat Pro for Window 10 if that helps. Thanks

Hi there so I have had the user try to convert a pdf file to a jpg file 3 different ways and none of them actually create the file. This is happening for a few users in our organization if we go file, convert the progress bar moves slowly and then you go to find the file and it's not there. Then if you go file, save as tick the convert box it moves quicker and then you can actually see the file in file explorer. However when you open the file it says that it has been moved or deleted and then the file disappears from file explorer. Would appreciate some help with this as it is causing our users quite some frustration.  

In Adobe Acrobat DC I use the measuring tool often. When you set the Line properties it will save the style, thickness, colors & opacity but the "Start" and "End" line arrows are reset each time back to "Open". I make the new properties default with the Start and End as "none" but each time I create a new line the arrows return to "Open" so on each measurement I have to open the properties and reset each back to "none". This creates a lot of extra work. Is there a way to set the overall default to "None" or is there a work around. The arrows get in the way for anyone wishing to draw lines on forms.

I have a Master Page footer with a URL in InDesign. When exported, the URL is a clickable hyperlink.  But when I run an Accessibility check in Acrobat, all footer instances on all pages fail "tagged annotations." The footer URL is not tagged in the Tags view. In the Content view, it exists as a "Link" under Annotations and as a Container <Artifact>.How do I fix this?

I'm looking for a script that will do Average Time of Day for 24hours? for example "Start"=13:21 "End"=16:02 average time of day would be "Mean"=14:41.  Thanks

I have set up a budget form and at the end I'm subtracting one manually entered field from another field with manually entered data.  This does nothing at all in Acrobat XI Pro. I got nothing, nada, no result.  In Acrobat DC Pro and DC Reader I get a result with like 8 decimal places (.00000000) and I can't see how to limit this to no decimal places. Now when I reopen in Acrobat XI, I am getting the same result as I got in DC, but only after a crash and restart of Acrobat. I've even renamed the fields so they are super simple to enter... my equation "Barclay_Last-Barclay" This should be a simple calculation -- have tried the "-" on above the keyboard and the "-" minus sign from the numpad. That makes no difference.  I have tried other calculations using *, for example, and they work fine. Obviously something wrong here, but I don't think it's what I'm doing.  Is it because I have XI Pro and DC on the same Windows 7 machine?  Or ???

I am having a very frustrating experience with signatures using Acrobat Pro 2024. It's outrageous to me that the system only lets you create one signature and one set of initials at a time. The way I've been getting around this when both my wife and I need to sign something is to delete one signature, add another, then add it to the document. Now the system won't let me even delete the existing signature. I click the "X" next to the name and nothing happens (see attached screen shot). Why is this so difficult?!!!!!!
