I have just been FORCED to install the most updated Pro version of Adobe. IT IS THE PITS. I am using version 2024.002.20759 Windows desktop version. How can i remove this ridiculous floating tool bar? It's so frustrating and gets in the way of working with a document. It's pure distraction and frustration and completely distracts you from getting your work done because you have to keep moving it. A few other things i'd like to see if can be mitigated:1. Bookmarks panel back to the left hand side2. Tools panel back to the right hand side3. display contrast - grey on grey is the least visually friendly and excludes people with low vision4. stop the stupid pop up when you scroll over a picture or object in a PDF doc - why is this needed? This is just one hour of using this, i can only imagine what other annoying 'upgrades' are yet to be found. Any advice on how to fix these nonsensical features will be greatly appreciated!
We are still having issues where Adobe Acrobat Pro DC 2021.001.20145 hangs at 72% when sending for signatures regardless of repair, updates, uninstall and reinstall. I need a fix for this!I'm attaching the System Report for review.
This is the three-year license version without cloud features. I literally cannot find a single document stating how this version works. My Adobe rep claimed it works on one desktop only, whereas the regular Pro subscription works on two computers and one mobile device. But they couldn’t provide a link, nor could Adobe chat support.
I open Create a PDF, choose Scanner and select my Scanner, EPSON ET-4750 Series (ICA), hit the “NEXT” button, and the scan details pop-up will not load. The APP just sits with the pop-up greyed out. I’m using the licensed Adobe Acrobat Continuous Release Version 2026.001.21431 on a MacBook Air, M2, 2023 running Tahoe 26.3.1 (a). I have been scanning from the same computer with the same licensed software, with different Mac OS for years. This has been continuous for about the last month or two. HELP!
My Acrobat auto-updated this morning and now when I extract pages from a pdf it includes the first page of the document unless I unhighlight it. When i go return to the original document it brings me to the first page rather than where I had been as it’s now reading page 1 as my last location in the file.Restarted after update with no success. The update is 2026.001.21411 Thanks for any help!
I noticed another issue from the latest Acrobat update, where my page size seems to auto-adjust or change based on whether I’m viewing the file on my laptop screen or my monitor. For instance, when viewing on my laptop, this page seems to be >10.5” wide: When I shift that same file over to my monitor, it shifts to the anticipated 8.5” wide: I’m also getting these fun white tick marks all along the ruler that appear where ever I scroll my mouse, making it impossible to read the ruler, and I no longer have a scroll bar. So great. Adobe, please fix all these issues with the latest update!!
Signature won’t save in the Acrobat app despite ticking “Save signature” and clicking “Apply.” I have to repeatedly upload my signature as an image every time I want to sign a document.
Hello, I'm currently using Adobe Acrobat to give a presentation, and I need to use my cursor to point out information that I present from figures. When I hover over certain images, I get this weird popup that gives a description of the image, with the text "AI-generated content may be incorrect" (see the attached screenshot). Due to the nature of the presentation, I cannot show the entire slide, but it does this with each image that is put into this presentation. All the information I've seen online says this comes from the generative AI assistant, and to turn it off in the Preferences menu, but I don't see a Generative Ai tab in the preferences to change this. The presentation was created in PowerPoint and then a PDF was generated. The jpeg images that are causing the issue were take from large PDF files, printed to a single page PDF to extract the image I wanted to present, then saved as a jpeg and cropped in the Photo's App. Everything points to the grey popups being
I inserted a scanned PDF file and I want it in WORD in Hebrew. It creates a file in Acrobat that looks good, but when I move it to WORD, it converts the texts to LTR instead of RTL. The numbers in the LIST are fine. Maybe there is a problem with the transition to OCR? It seems to me that it is with the transition to WORD. I have already managed to convert 3 different files.
I tried WinSCP and Cyberduck but I am unable to get to here:ftp://ftp.adobe.com/pub/adobe/acrobat/win/11.x/Where I understand the final update is. I cannot install updaete because I get a 1328 error.
Hello All, Currently having an issue where we're pre-filling some fields of a form which has check boxes and text fields, but when requesting an e-signature and the recipient recieves the e-sign and goes to complete it, the check boxes that were previously checked are now empty, but the text fields still have the info before sending them. I've seen fixes of saving the semi pre-filled file seperately, then requesting with that file, but I'm looking for an easier fix for users not having to do that. Thanks.
I want to submit a children’s book (bright colors) to Amazon KDP. All pages created in RGB. I used Acrobat to create a combined PDF of all the interior pages. It looks to me like all the RGB colors were retained-- which is what I wanted.I need to save the file in PDF/X format. I’d like to save it as a PDF/X-3 because I’ve read that you can retain RGB colors in the PDF/X-3 format (as opposed to PDF/X-1a which forces CMYK).But I can’t seem to make this work in Acrobat. When I try to create the PDF/X-3, Acrobat forces me to choose a PDF/X-3 conversion profile that converts the colors to CMYK-- at least it sure looks that way because the colors in the resulting PDF/X-3 are MUCH DULLER than the colors in the original file.Any suggestions? How do I create a PDF/X-3 and somehow retain RGB color??
A coworker reported this error message today when trying to digitally sign a document in Acrobat: "This document contains embedded actions (e.g. OpenAction or Additional Actions). These actions are supported in this version of Acrobat, but may be disabled in future versions. For long-term compatibility, consider requesting a version without embedded actions form the document author."The error message includes a link to this page with a bit more information:https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/embedded-action-signing-warning.htmlGiven that we produce a lot of documents that are signed by the public, this message was concerning. The documents don't have any JavaScript or anything added by us, although some PDFs were exported from InDesign. The staff member is using version 2025.001.20997. This error doesn't seem to happen in earlier Acrobat versions, we also tested with 2025.001.20630. We did a little more troubleshooting and found that the error message appears only if you set the 'Initia
I have an old PDF file that I protected with a password, but I’ve completely forgotten what it was. I need to access the file urgently for important information, but I can’t open it due to the password. Is there any safe and effective PDF password remover tool or method that I can use to unlock the file without damaging it? I’d prefer a free or reasonably priced solution if possible.
When using organise pages in Acrobat to extract some pages, once the extraction is done and the extracted pages are closed, when you click back onto any page in the original document, acrobat grabs that page and jumps back to the top of the doc and drops the page wherever the cursor is. Only started happening with the latest update, never been an issue before, and it’s incredibly annoying when trying to extract a series of pages from a long document, as it effectively moves pages around.
I have a PDF file that is password-protected, and I need to access or edit its contents. Is there any simple and reliable tool that can help remove the password? Preferably something easy to use for beginners.
Recently Acrobat has started a strange behavior of clearing out the entire file name when I try to use a decimal as part of the file name. For example, when I have a new document, and I click Save As, I start typing the file name, and if I type a decimal, the next time I type a space after that decimal it clears out the entire name. So - “Test - 1234 - Testing - 1.99 “ As soon as I type the space after the “99” it clears out the entire file name. If I do not type a decimal, there’s no issues. Is this a bug? It never used to do this prior to a 5-6 days ago when it started.
I have created a PDF document from Word that has in-text hyperlinks, whereas you click on the link and it will take you to another page within the document. When I test it using NVDA screen reader, it will read the sentence up until the line that says “page 2”. For example it will read: “For more information, please see.” and will stop before reading the intext hyperlink that says “page 2” at the end of the sentence. I have no issues with external hyperlinks, only ones that link within the document. Just looking for some guidance or assistance in fixing this issue.
Still not resolved… To batch process invoices from MS Word doc to PDF I’ve used Acrobat Pro's Create PDF > Multiple Files which has worked fairly smoothly for years. Definitely worked May 1/26 invoicing. Then on invoice day at beginning of April, it's now not working and still doesn’t work with updates.Acrobat Pro won't process the Word files and getting message saying that I have to change MS Word Privacy Preferences. It appears that Microsoft is not allowing the Word docs to be processed locally and forcing a user to batch on the MS website/cloud (Connected Experiences), which I DO NOT want. This was never an issue before. I don't know if something is broken or they simply changed something where you can't do batch processing on your computer (locally) and forcing you to use MS Connected Experiences. Any help would be appreciated.Working with:Acrobat Pro Version 2026.001.21431Word Version 16.108.1 (26041915)Mac Mini M4 Mac OS Sequoia 15.7.4
Since the AI Assistant feature was introduced, I've been experiencing a consistent issue with Acrobat on Windows 11 Pro (fully updated, original licensed version). Every time I open the app, it freezes for a while, then unfreezes, freezes again, and eventually becomes usable. However, this pattern repeats every time I close and reopen the application. My system is not the issue: SSD, dedicated GPU, plenty of RAM and storage. All my Adobe apps are up to date, and the problem seems isolated to Acrobat. I strongly suspect the issue began with the AI Assistant integration, as everything was smooth before. In addition, I have a long-standing question: why do Acrobat updates not appear in the Creative Cloud desktop app like other Adobe apps (e.g., Premiere, Photoshop, Illustrator)? I've always had to update Acrobat manually from within the app itself. Is there a technical reason for this separation?I'd appreciate any insights, solutions, or explanations from the community or Adobe staff. Thanks
Adobe Acrobat is the worst that exists and is a waste of money, a lot of monthly expense, and you can't perfectly edit the forms
I have a PDF document. I want to add a text box and I used 'Edit' then 'Text' under ADD CONTENT. The letters come out OK but numbers are showing as symbols. I searched for the issue and found something to do with changing the language from English with Arabic Support, but that hasn't worked. Also if I type hyphen in the text box, it starts typing the letters from right to left. Such a simple task is so painful and I end up having to use InDesign. The image attached I tried to type 'abc-12345' and you can see the result.I am so frustrated by Adobe Acrobat. It is so buggy in the last year or so and trying to contact Adobe is impossible. This is a paid subscription and the programme rarely works how it used to. It wastes so much time in my work trying to resolve the issue.
Hello, I have attempted the workaround methods for error 105 when trying to save a document as stated in previous posts. I believe this has to do with adobe not recognizing my account and keeps telling me to subscribe, although my account shows the payment history to Adobe Acrobat DC for the past year. Does anyone have a solution to this problem, if they have encountered it before? Otherwise, I will be finding another program that works with PDFs and cancel this subscription.
How can I cancel the Adobe Acrobat free trial before they charge me? It’s not under “Manage Plan” because the only active plan I have there is Lightroom, and that’s the only one showing to cancel. But I received the confirmation email for the Acrobat free trial saying it will automatically charge in 7 days. Can you help me please?
