I'm trying to convert a Word document to a PDF with simple markup, but it either shows all the markup or nothing. How can I do this, please?
There is a document I am editing and can't turn off the "bold" option in the format box.The text I am editing is not bold and it is a font that is included in Acrobat.I have tried changing fonts and even "adding text" and text still comes out "bold".Maybe it's something dumb but I need to get this document done.
I'm trying to solve an error caused by a drop down list when I request e-signatures. It is a list of percentages for the user to choose for a pension contribution (between 5% and 18%). I don't know what's wrong because Acrobat doesn't highlight the error in red, unlike the other errors I fixed earlier. I've been working around it by not using drop downs, but I need a drop down in this case. The form works great for the calclulations, but I can't send for signatures. Screen shot attached. Thanks,Sean
I searched for this and found one post but no resolution, hoping someone has an answer for me. When I view rulers the size is not compatible with the document size. As you can see in the pict, the document shows as 11.25"x8.75" but the rulers are showing less than 10". This makes editing very difficult with a lot of guess work. Rulers are set to inches, zoom in/out makes no difference. Acrobat Pro Cont. Release ver 2023.006.20320.
Hi, I have a fresh installation with Adobe Acrobat Pro 2020 and Windows 11. My Scanner is a Brother MFC J4420DW. Adobe Acrobat shows the first page only while the scanner is still scanning all pages. I'm using as well an older Windows 10 System with Adobe Acrobat 9 - using the same (!) scanner via LAN. The old Acrobat 9 works without any problems showing all pages. What is the problem with Acrobat Pro 2020? Any help would really be appreciated as the old system is going to be decommissioned. Thanks in advance Mark
in the new version with the all tools on the right. can you add organize pages to the toolbar?
I have a mild visual impairment and my job requires that I work with annotated PDFs quite a bit. Below is an illustration of my question. Is there a way to make the text in the Comments List bigger? I haven't yet found one, and the teeny, tiny text is incredibly problematic for me!
Hi everyone! After reinstalling Adobe Acrobat on my macOS, I’ve noticed that the “Save as Adobe PDF” option now appears multiple times in the print settings (at the bottom left). Does anyone know how to remove the redundant entries? Is there a shortcut in the user library that I can delete to fix this? Thank you!

Adobe Acrobat sign-in process is anti-customer and designed to frustrate your clients.(1) I have to click see more to click on sign in with Microsoft. Only Apple, Goole, and Facebook are avaiable on teh first screen. I highly doubt that Facebook is used more than Microsoft, but regardless, there is more than enough room to allow all 5 of the allowed SSO methods to be available on the main sign-in screen.(2) You only allow 2 computers to be signed in at a time, regardless of whether the other logins are active. This is problematic and frustrating behavior for someone who uses 4 different computers (3 desktops), whether working from home, office, a laptop or other regularly used computer. Stop the nonsense. Allow me to stay logged in on 3+ machines, but simply do a check in the background to detect if more than one computer is an "active" user so that you can still prevent lost revenue due to password sharing.(3) The sign in procedure should not take me to a browser and then back to the
Hi, this is a beaten subject, multiples hits on the requirement to disable Adobe Cloud and yet zero support from Adobe, just spent 3 hours on a phone with Adobe support oh my oh my. Thank you for multiple posters on this board - this is how I found feature lockdown information via windows registry, the keys bToggleDocumentCloud and bToggleSendAndTrack This accomplishes exactly what I want - it removes the cloud icon from the interface and does not allow users to save file to Adobe cloud - perfect! But it breaks "Fill and Sign” because Acrobat stores signatures in cloud - now when cloud integration is blocked I can not create/use signature to sign a document. How can I configure Acrobat to store signature locally? I can use a key bToggleFSSSignatureSaving to stop Acrobat from saving signature - but this creates a problem for the user, every time user wants to sign a document a new signature needs to be created. Is there a registry key that
Hello all I am using the XMP Toolkit SDK to try to attach an XMP file to a pdf. I am unable to add the XMP data to some pdf file. Those pdf file does not contains the xmppacket, so the "XMP_MethodIntro(TXMPFiles,bool)::CanPutXMP ( const SXMPMeta & xmpObj )" method returns false. If i open the pdf in adobe reader and then try to insert the XMP data it is successful. Is there any workaround or fix for this to do it using XMP Toolkit SDK. Need some help
I have developed a form with multiple fields with a a light gray background as set in the properties field. Once the user "Locks" the fields I want to change the background color of the fields to white. Here is the code I'm using: function DisableField(cFieldName) { var oFld = getField(cFieldName); if(oFld) { oFld.readonly=true; oFld.fillcolor=color.white; } }The fields lock but the background color does not. Any help here would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
Has anyone used Acrobat Pro to organize files and receipts? I have been using a program called Paperless for Mac which organizes scanned docs and recognizes certain info from the scans for both documents and receipts. However, the company has disappeared and I need to now relocate many years of saved documents and receipts from that software. The good part is they are already stored as pdfs, the bad part is I would probably need to rename every single file unless I find another software that can import the files.
I am using Radio Buttons to make a certain image appear when the answer is correct. In case the answer is wrong, another image will appear. The problem is that I need to consider the possibility that the user changes his mind and chooses another radio button after he has made a fisrt choice. As a result of the user making a second choice, I have now two images being shown every time this happens. So, I need to insert a command that hides the image as soon as the user changes his mind and his first option is deselected. Can you help me, please? Thanks a lot in advance.
Can is there a way to configure the print settings (i.e. paper size, orientation, etc.) and save this setting as part of the pdf file? I would like the users of pdf files to be able to open the file and simply print, without having to manually configure the print settings.
I did not know Adobe changed the layout. I just upgraded to a new computer and had a difficult time adjusting to the new layout. I tried the new layout for several days and it was hard to get use to. It covered my document and it took me longer to find what I needed. Having a fluid toolbar that can be moved left to right was a distraction. Just keep the toolbar at top. I was unable to switch back with the instructions since in the new layout it does not allow to disenable. I guess this is a Adobe thing. I had to finally reach out to Dell IT to have them remove the new layout and reinstall my older verision which was only 5 months old. I am not sure if Adobe did a testing of the new layout before putting it out to the universe, but the new layout would not be my first choice.
I click the Prepare for Accessibility button, then I get the following error message: "Prepare for Accessibility is getting installed. Please wait to use this tool."
I installed Adobe Acrobat through Creative Cloud to edit PDFs. There's a big issue though. Whenever I browse through File Explorer then select (not open or edit) a .pdf, I get a pop-up from Adobe-Acrobat saying "An internal error occured." Also, sometimes File Explorer crashes or is stuck loading. As soon as I select a .pdf, File Explorer just stops working and I get multiple "An internal error occured" error messages that pop up. Please help. I've already researched this issue and no solutions worked for me. Please do not recommend to uninstall and reinstall Acrobat, use the Creatigve Cloud cleaner, or grant permissions for Adobe Acrobat, I tried all three of these solutions and they DID NOT work. Thanks.
A couple of weeks ago I opened a pdf and found that there is a new layout to my Adobe Acrobat DC. It appears to be very much the excat same program, but now all of the Tools are on the left, rather than the right, as well as a few other minor changes to the appearance. What I can't figure out is if there has been any added benefits. Hard to imagine it would be an update that only forces you to relearn where all of the Tools are, but doesn't offer an added benefit with the change. And if there is no benefit, is there a way to revert back to the older layout?
Adobe is exporting 0 data files that do not show up other than "Recents". Client sent me PDFs, which I opened, renamed, and SAVED using Adobe Acrobat (Fully Subscribed to Adobe Creative Suite). Since all kinds of sketchy PDF creators are out there, I open in Adobe Acrobat, rename and export as an Adobe Acrobat file. Then close Adobe Acrobate, re-open, open the new renamed files and only then try to export as jpg. Today this process fails and no useable jpg file is accessible.Pretty sad I have to take a screenshot of an Adobe Acrobat document so as to have a jpg so as to meet client time frame expectations. All my Creative Cloud apps are update. Adobe Acrobat shows version 22.0 (Windows 11)What is the cure this time?
This may be something very simple to cure however, I'm at a complete loss. When highlighting text to redact, the area is highlighted in a red recatngle, then when I click to 'applyl the redcations, the rest of the page text content disappears from view leaving a plain page with a black redacted box. I can't seem to work out how to bring the text to be retained back into view. All help will be appreciated.
Hello, I am combining multiple documents, some from Canva, some from PDF, and when I do this, all the names of the documents that were combined (listed separately) show up in my table of contents in PDF - how do I delete this so there is no table of contents - only the tile of the document? SEe screenshot enclosed to give you an idea of what I am referring to. Thanks, Catherine
It is very annyoying to hear a beep in Adobe Acrobat Pro when I save a PDF, when I optimize a PDF, when I reduce the size of a PDF. It doesn't happen when I just click on the save button. It also happens when I save open a PDF I've reduced in size via ILove PDF. I usually open the compressed file, and save it, or try to save it further as a reduced file, eventually saving back to the original file, and then I delete the compressed file from ILove PDF. Please advise. Miriam Klepper
