I bought the paid version of Acrobat because the reader was working so good.Now the pro version freezes while loading documents and will just stop responding.The computer has plenty of memory and cpu power. I have updated and tried uninstalling and reinstalling...Still just won't work. I'm not sure what you need from me to attached to check the system.

I'm looking for  a specific type of font thats not on the adobe acrobat. I can find and download the file but is there anyway to feed thatg into acrobat to be used for my project 

After installing the newest Acrobat Pro 2024.004.20220, we kan no longer open pdf files in Acrobat Reader. Has any of you same experience. Or is it no longer possible to have both Acrobat Pro an Reader on the same computer?

Ich habe seit Freitag (14.04.2023) die Acrobatversion 2023.001.20143 (Mac) und habe seitdem Probleme mit Schriften in Textfeldern in Formularen. Wenn ich in den Eigenschaften des Textfeldes die "Mayriad Pro" wähle, wird der eingegebene Text im Textfeld viel zu weit nach oben gerückt und teilweise sogar angeschnitten (s. anhängendes Bild "falsch.png"). Vor dem Update war alles noch in Ordnung und die Eingaben standen vertikal zentriert und gut lesbar innerhalb des Textfeldes (s. anhängendes Bild "richtig.png"). Das Problem habe ich mit nahezu allen OTF-Fonts, die eine Einbettung zulassen. Da in den Formularen Berechnungen ausgeführt werden müssen und die Formulare die Preflight-Prüfung für UA-PDFs bestehen muss, muss die in den Textfeldern benutzte Schrift eingebettet werden können. Weiß jemand, woher dieses Problem kommt? Gibt es irgendeine Voreinstellung, die ich eventuell nicht vorgenommen habe? Vielen Dank im Voraus für eine schnelle Antwort,Sabine

Hi all. We have a problem with comments added to a PDF, by one user, not showing up to other users.  Our use case / setup:All users are under the same group license. We all use full Acrobat Pro app, not web apps. We all save and share PDFs to our drives [old skool], and do not use any cloud functionality. One of our Account Managers regularly receives a draft PDF from the Design team, to which they add comments for changes / suggestions. Once she saves this and sends back, the PDF is clean again, completely without comments, no trace.  WTH is going on?! Any help gratfully received...

Hallo zusammen! Ich verwende Acrobat Pro 2020. Leider kann ich auch nach akribischer Suche nicht finden, wo ich das Schriftfeld vergrößern kann, wenn der Text länger ist als das Feld. Jetzt ist es so, dass sich die Schrift einfach verkleinert. Aber irgendwann kann man nicht mehr lesen, was drin steht. Kann jemand helfen?Brauche ich ein anderes Acrobat? Vielen Dank!

I’m having trouble with a weblink in a PDF file I sent to my client. When he clicks on the link, he’s prompted to “Allow” access, which is okay. But then, after clicking “Allow,” he gets another error message about plugins, as shown in the attached screenshot. Does anyone know why this is second message is happening?Thank youJohn

Hello,the basics of what I am trying to to is this :I have a text field called Panel length 1 - i want it so that when a number that is 45 or less is entered into that text field , a second text field called 20ga 1 will become visible - if the number 46 or greater is entered, or there is no number entered at all the text field called Panel length 1 then the text field called 20ga 1 will stay hidden. does this make sense or even possible?thanks in advance for any guidance that can be provided.

I am facing an issue in the converted PDF/A file. I have combined 3 PDF documents (File A, File B, File C) into a single PDF document and want to convert it into a PDF/A document. But after this conversion, File B in the PDF/A document has issues - same text appears twice in different positions (see the attached snapshot of one of the pages). The issue is only with File B in the converted combined document. When I converted individual File B pdf into PDF/A file, there was no issue. I have tried recombining the individual PDFs and then converting. However, the issue persists.  I will appreciate your assistance. Thank you.

Hello,I have a scanned pdf ~40 pages long that is 3.25Mb in size. However, I must add a small redaction to cover one word on each page. So, after ~40 tiny redactions in the whole document, my PDF then registers as a 29.5Mb document. The problem is that I need this document to be less than 10Mb in size to submit. How can I resolve this issue? Is there another tool I can use that doesn't increase the file size by 7x? Thank you for any advice!

Things such as updates and the like by default should come with a request to continue or install later. I am not sure if this was an opt-in feature that i cannot remember etc, but  I have spent several minutes looking at this while a room of  clients waited for me to "quickly export and distribute the document".  Honestly, a popup asking if you would like to install the update now would have been very VERY handy today. I am providing this feedback in good faith and not as a whinge. I hope it is of some value. 

Hello, I've been trying to link two separate text fields together and have followed a tutorial that uses this script:  However after replacing the "NameOfFirstFieldGoesHere" and "NameOfNextFieldGoesHere" with my correct field names and pressing ok, the custom options window greys out and doesn't show that the script has been saved.  Any ideas why? Just looking to have text run from one box to another. Also I did just install Acrobat if that matters.

The default order of comment replies in both Acrobat Pro and Adobe Reader is driving my team crazy. [Team: a magazine's proofreader (Reader), designer (me: Acrobat), and managing editor (Reader), who all have input on the same set of PDFs.] From what I can tell, the original comment is first, then the latest reply by someone else, then earlier replies by others, then finally whatever the current person just wrote. And sometimes even that order isn't consistent, mysteriously putting the newest comment somewhere in the middle of the list. It's maddening! What we all would like is for the replies to be in ascending date order, so we can read it like a transcript of a conversation - the initial comment, then the first reply, then the second reply, and so on. Is there any way to do that? Yes, I'm open to a plugin or other customization, especially if it can be added to both Acrobat and Reader.

i have a an exceptionally detailed architect plan that is ideally printed at A1 or A0 even.Is there a tool or process that i can use to split it into 4 x files (or one file with 4 pages) so that i can send it to print and then sellotape together to review.I'm thinking Acrobat, but have the full Cloud Suite if someone has a suggestion on another package.Many thanks

I'm having trouble with Acrobat Pro; it's not saving my e-signature using my Adobe account on any devices. However, my colleagues are able to save their e-signatures with their Adobe accounts on any devices.Just a note: we have a subscription on the organization plan.   

when Adobe Acrobat PRO (with new user interface) keeps crashing. I start working with it, open a few documents and all works fine for some time, but then it crashes (=freezes). This happens a few times a day. My colleagues have the same problem. Some of us have brand new CAD computers, so general performance should not be the issue here. Switching back to the old user interface fixes the problem so I use that as a workaround, but I do like some of the new features in the new interface so would like to keep working with it if there is a fix. Anyone knows? I am in Adobe Acrobat PRO 64-bit version 24.004.20272

We host a small jpeg image on Microsoft OneDrive which is used as a logo for invoices in a booking system web application. When we open one of the documents within the application which contain this image in Adobe Acrobat Reader DC to print it, we get the error message in the image below "Select a certificate to authenticate yourself to s2s-api-onedrive.com:443" This has only started happening in the last few months. If you select OK the message goes away. I dont know if this is an Adobe issue or Microsoft issue. Can anyone suggest a fix please?

Setting up a new laptop. Downloaded and installed Acrobat Standard twice.  I haver reverted to the old version.  Do not care for the new version.  I cannot get the toolbar to show.  Have gone to View-Show/Hide-Toolbar items-Show Toolbars.  Does not work.  Have tried Reset Toolbars. F8 and alt F8.  Nothing works.  Any help would be appreciated

My system updated to Windows 11 Version 24H4.  Now Acrobat no longer works.  I've uninstalled it an re-installed it. Went in and made it fix itself.  Nothing works.  The application will not even open.  It shows active in my Task Manager but that's it.

Can I still purchase an upgrade perpetual license for Adobe Acrobat Pro? I can't seem to find any way to do this  on the Adobe site.TIA,Miles
