Acrobat is unable to save embedded pictures from an email in PDF. Other PDF Add-Ins are able to save with the pictures. Therefore what could possibly have gone wrong here with Acrobat? My conversion settings within Outlook are as followed:Compatibility: Acrobat 9.0Attachments: AllShow Adobe PDF Results: Truegive out PDF Portofolios whilst creating a new PDF File: trueIndex for faster searchup: true The rest is on standard values

Image generation is slow and laggy.

Repeatedly for numerous people in our firm, their signature in the Fill & Sign tool disappears without them removing it. Thankfully, it is saved as a png that can be simply readded, but this has happened over 5 times to one user in the past week. Any ideas why this is happening and what I can do?

I have a PDF with comments. In Acrobat, these appear normal. But when I copy the comment text from Acrobat to MS Word, the font size is set to 1638 pt, which is unusable: one letter is larger than the page. In Word, I’ve set all copy/paste options to Keep Text Only which should strip all formatting. Somehow, Acrobat comments are still pasted with this unusable formatting. The only workaround I’ve found is to paste into a text editor to get rid of the formatting, then copy-paste into Word. I’ve also tested copying document content from the PDF to Word. This retains its formatting from the PDF, again even if all copy/paste options in Word are set to Keep Text Only which should strip all formatting. Troubleshooting steps I’ve tried so far: change the Preferences > Commenting > Font and Font Size. No improvement.  Repair the Acrobat installation. No improvement. Check for updates: I’m already at the latest version.  Check Acrobat Preferences for anything that could influence copy/pas

I have gone into preferences multiple times and unticked the boxes in prefences/general/messages from Adobe...the same applies for the 'tell me if adobe is not my default....' feature, but everytime I restart adobe, the boxes are ticked! I have tried as standard user and administartor, but they reset to being ticked! This was not the case when I had the free version and is very frustrating.version 2025.001.20474  

This seems to have just recently changed, because we’ve been doing the same thing for years, but just this week they have decided to do things completely wrong.Adobe PDFs from Acrobat/Reader, that are multipage and that we want stapled by our MFP Ricoh printers, are stapling the wrong side of the page, because they’re treating our portrait documents like landscape.So, we say to staple in the upper left, but it instead puts it in the upper right. If you say to staple the upper right, it staples the bottom right.However, if I do a multipage from Word with stapling, it does it correctly.So I know it’s Adobe that has changed.

I just purchased a Adobe Acrobat Pro subscription, and tried to upgrade my Adobe Acrobat. However, I am running into a repeated issue where Adobe says "Upgrading Key Features" and getting stuck on continously installing. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling Acrobat. Please help. I am about to ask for a refund, this is horrible design and service if even after I pay I cannot use it. 

I have been trying to request signatures on Adobe DC.When doing so I have Receive a big white box appears and Adobe is unresponsive.The this is from a downloaded PDF and using the desktop app.Using windows 10 Version 21H1 x64 (KB4023057)Things I have  tried include:Checking for updates.Restarting the machine.Re-installing Adobe.Turning off the PDF/A viewing mode.Remove Adobe Intermediate CA and Adobe Content Certificates.Remove Adobe user and Adobe App Certificates. I am not sure how to proceed. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi everyone,We are having an issue with most of our PDFs that are printed via Adobe Acrobat Pro and Reader DC.Some lines and other vector objects in the PDFs are not printing out.This is not a problem when we print via Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge so it must be the Adobe software.The PDFs are generated from the latest version of AutoCAD and Revit software.We have updated to the latest version of both Reader and Acrobat Pro.Has anyone else had this issue and is there a solution?Looking forward to your reply.Michael

Hi,Has anyone else experienced an issue opening PDFs in the last few days? Everything worked fine until 2-3 days ago but now I open a PDF in Adobe without issue, then when I close the program and try to open another PDF, Adobe won't open. Nothing happens. I have to end the task in task manager and then the PDF will open no problem... but I have to end the task each time.  If I leave a PDF file open, it will open another PDF without issue. It's only when the program is closed completely and I try to open another PDF that I have this problem. It's easy enough to work around but annoying nonetheless... any thoughts on how to fix?  I've tried restarting my computer, uninstalling and reinstalling Adobe, didn't fix it. Running Windows 11 Professional on a laptop.     

Hi, Currently on Adobe Pro Version 2025.001.20438; macbook pro OS Sequioia 15.4.1Since December 2024 after updating my OS I have issues with PDF documents that become corrupted. I can open on my end, but when the document is emailed to another party they are unable to open as the file is corrupt. I have factory reset my computer, I have unistalled Adobe and did the "wash" of the old version. I really need a fix to this issue. 

Hi all,I am trying to utilize the Submit button to email timesheets to our director but I keep getting an error stating, “An error occurred while sending mail. If you are not sure how to proceed further, you can save your form and return it manually using your internet service”. So, my default for mail is Outlook, most fixes seem to be for the older version of Outlook (as I am on the newer version). I also have the “mailto:” properly set up, so I am at a loss as to what the issue is and how to fix it. Many thanks in advance.

I am using Adobe Cloud to save PDFs to my Adobe site and then inviting my team to view and comment. Regardless of whether I type their emails in to invite them personally, or just share the link (set up to “anyone with the link can comment”), they cannot access the files. Adobe is asking them to sign in, but they don’t have accounts. Surely they don’t need to?

There is a similar thread to this. But we are running into this issue for Acrobat studio after transferring into a business account with Adobe. 

Hello,I’m facing a issue with the viewing of colors in Acrobat,I made my pdf in PackZ and in it, my layer of “2_White” seems constrasted good (I have some parts that are 70% screening) but when I open it in Acrobat and my colleagues as well, we barely see the difference when we only have the layer of 2_White (without going into the preview with the separations)Even when I’m trying to increase the value of my Lab I still don’t see the constrat in Acrobat. See the screenshots bellow for the view of both PackZ and Acrobat.We tried different parameters but we can’t see what to do. Thanks

Greetings, I have pro plan for Adobe Acrobat Pro on my company account (this profile). Yesterday I have switched computers and now I have to install my Adobe apps on my new company computer.I am trying to download the Pro version for editing, however, all the link are directing me to Adobe Creative Cloud and it does not have Acrobat Pro. It only has the Reader version. I have checked my plan several times even though I am pretty sure my plan is not expired - and there is no problem with it. Attaching 3 screenshots below:1- Account details and apps which are included in my program. (see Acrobat Pro is listed.)   2 - Download screen on the web, all links direct me to use Creative Cloud App. 3- Creative Cloud App. The Acrobat Pro is not showing up. The only app is the Reader version. I believe I have been specific enough with my issue, however, if requested more information can be provided. Adobe sign does not seem to allow me to add a signer that only needs to initial. I keep getting a message that it will add a signature line to the bottom of the document. How can I remove that? I have 2 signers. 1 needs to do a full signature, but the other only needs to initial the document and I cannot find anywhere to explain this process. 

In trying to find a way to print an Acrobat pdf in grayscale (since I’m also having printhead issues), I changed my grayscale to Sgray in Preferences. Had no idea that I would not be able to change it back, and it appears to have now altered my acrobat such that it opens only to a gray screen with no other available functions. Have tried multiple uninstalls and reinstalls, with no change in results. I assume I need to find a way to be able to reset to my initial preferences, but don’t know how to get there with this gray screen issue. Running newly installed Acrobat in Windows 11. Any help would be appreciated.

Hello Adobe TeamI am going to a trade show tomorrow (in 9 hours) and i need to Redact the word “Proof” on my flyer. I reinstalled Adobe reader, i have active Adobe Pro and ive been stuck on this screen for more than 2 hours. “upgrading key features”- instaling .. please be patience  ITs not my internet and its not my computer that is slowing this down.  Please advise what else do in need to do ?

I have hundreds of multiple existing fields that I would like to quickly rename.The fields are named so that they all end in “.#”. For example:afieldname.1bfieldname.1cfieldname.1dfieldname.1efieldname.1ffieldname.1gfieldname.1hfieldname.1etc…Is it possible to quickly keep the first part of the field name and just change the “.1” to “.2” for all the fields with the same extension?Any help with this would be a huge time saver and greatly appreciated!

Ich habe immer wieder große PDF Dateien, die in der Regel viele doppelte (identische) Seiten enthalten. Mit Acrobat kann man leicht zwei Dateien vergleichen, aber wohl nicht in einem Dokument Duplikate finden. Weiß jemand eine Lösung? I often find myself with large PDF files that usually contain lots of duplicate (identical) pages. With Acrobat, it’s easy to compare two files, but I don’t think you can find duplicates within a single document. Does anyone know of a solution?

Suddenly getting Acrobat using a crazy amount of memory on many users at work. Have tried clearing the prefs and the page cache. Even installed acrobat again on some machines but has come back 24 hours later. Any reccomendations for a fix would be great 

The “Acrobat Pro” app is no longer in our Creative Cloud apps. Was the acrobat pro” version dropped from teacher plans? All I see is the "free" Acrobat version in the teacher plan, which is not enough for our needs.

This is the 4th time now I've wasted time searching for ways to stop the constant attempts from Adobe to push this Acrobat AI Assistant down my throat, what seems like every time I open the app. Yes, I've turned it off in preferences, twice in 2 different places!  Today I get hit with another invasive prompt window popping up "Ask AI Assistant to summarize" or some nonsense. (Failed to screenshot it unfortunately). So into the preferences I go again, to find another 'ticked box' under "Generative AI features in Acrobat", which I'm positive wasn't there before as I can't find the previous options that I deselected, leaving me to believe this has been turned back on by Adobe during an update. Surely that must be the end of it?WRONG!Not 20 minutes later...  This is definitely one of the options I turned off previously (that I now can't find), so why is this type of thing popping up again?  It should be simple...AI Assistant on: AI Assistant off:&nbs
