Have been into keychain and tried using the passwords there but it is just rejecting all.
Hi everyone,I'm looking for a way to protect confidential PDF documents against automated text extraction, particularly using AI-powered tools such as Microsoft Power Automate, AI Builder and OCR.The objective is to keep the PDF fully readable to humans while making it difficult for automated tools to extract or correctly interpret its contents.I've been exploring several possibilities in Adobe Acrobat Pro, including: Adding hidden text layers or invisible watermarks. Embedding hidden form fields, metadata or other non-visible content. Modifying the underlying text structure without affecting its visual appearance. Using PDF security settings or other techniques that interfere with automated extraction. I'm particularly interested in whether hidden text or form-field information can be included in the data returned by extraction tools, or whether there are other approaches available directly within Acrobat Pro.Has anyone experimented with this or found an effective solution?I und
I am desperately trying to cancel my Adobe subscription (pdf & AI) but can't for the life of me. Originally it was on a Microsoft account but I accidentally linked it to a free Gmail account and I think this is why - I can no longer see my Microsoft account or cancel the payments (it is processing a payment of £37.15 and I don't want it to charge me more.) Help appreciated as have been trying for hours and am feeling frustrated - there is nowhere on the Adobe website where I can talk to a human being!!
Acrobat only — Error 224 on launch (MacBook Air M4, Sequoia 15.7.7) — everything else in CC works fineSystem: • MacBook Air, M4 chip, macOS Sequoia 15.7.7 • Active Creative Cloud subscription, account in good standing • InDesign and Photoshop both open and run without any problem • Acrobat — and only Acrobat — throws Error 224 immediately on launch • I don't use KeychainFor comparison: I also have a late-2014 iMac on the same network, running macOS Big Sur 11.7.11, same Adobe account. On that machine, InDesign, Photoshop, and Acrobat all open fine — no error at all. So this appears to be specific to this MacBook Air / Sequoia combination, not my account or license. What I've already tried (all unsuccessful): 1 Fully uninstalled all Creative Cloud apps and the Creative Cloud desktop app itself, then reinstalled CC and Acrobat only — same Error 224 on first launch. 2 Ran the official Adobe Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool, then reinstalled — same resul
Hello, Using Adobe Acrobate Pro version 2024.002.20991. I'm trying to turn off the converting scanned document to editable text and images that runs on every page as you scroll through a document. I'm able to turn this off for individual documents after it has already started. Is there a way to default this to not run?
On MacOS 27 Acrobat hangs on start when the option ‘Always show Scroll bars’ is selected. Only solution is to delete the user preferences, then restart Acrobat (and do not check Always show scroll bars again of course…)
A client of mine is dealing with a persistent crashing issue in Adobe Acrobat when selecting Request E-signatures. The first time it happened, Adobe gave a pop up about some new feature/experience. She had selected it and it changed how everything was viewed. From that point, Acrobat would crash every time after selecting Request E-signature. The Send Report pop up would show up but the log didn't really show anything. We got to the point where we did the full nuke on Adobe CC. We uninstalled everything and ran the Adobe CC Cleaner. We did a fresh install and made sure CC, Acrobat, and the Windows system was up to date. At first, we got the error message that you'll see in the attached screenshot. "The exception unknown software exception (0xc0000028) occurred in the application at location 0x00007FFA980FF77D." message came up. We made one change and deselected "Use modern user interface for signing and Digital ID configuration" in Preferences>Signatures. I'm pulling my hair out reg
I signed a PDF form containing personal information that was provided to me by an institution. Some time after signing it, I received an email showing the status “Approved” and the name “Anonymous”.
Since last week, Adobe Acrobat works correctly to open and read a PDF document, but when I try to close the document, Acrobat freezes. This happens when closing the last open document and happens with every PDF document. I am using Adobe Acrobat Version 2026.002.21931 on a 2022 Mac Studio running Mac OS 26.6.2.I am attaching the Sample Process information captured after Acrobat froze.Any solution?
I work for a small business from home. The owner purchased Acrobat PRO to use. She saves documents into dropbox for me to get and edit and return for her. I am a user on her account. However, I am now unable to use it because it keeps telling me my trial period is over. I have searched your website for 35 minutes, trying to find a way to actually talk to someone. This is RIDICULOUS. PLEASE, I AM BEGGING YOU, somebody please call me [personal information removed by moderator. This is a public forum, not Adobe support]
Why must the AI settings be enabled every time Adobe Acrobat updates? Acrobat doesn't need the dumb AI features to slow it down, it does a good enough job at being slow as it is. Now when I open Acrobat, it wants to show off all the assenine features no one asked for and get in the way of the work I'm trying to do. The least Adobe could do is make Acrobat free with the amount of data they are gleeming from us users. I ask again why must the AI settings be enabled every time Adobe Acrobat updates? To the Brain Dead Devs, grow a spine and just stop this behavior. Let users select what features they want to have on or off and stop messing with it on updates. People already hate you all and this type of activity just makes us want to take action.
Why is “Prepare Form Tools” located in the “Sign” Tools? It doesn't make sense, especially since “Use JavaScript” is located in “More Tools.”These are two inseparable tools and they aren't necessarily related to signatures, far from it. Why not consult users and seek their input instead of forcing them to use an interface that defies common sense?Thank you.
Thanks for your comments
Acrobat Pro recently started to select the first page of the pdf when I try to extract pages. This is a problem if, for example, I want to extract pages 135-200. Is there a fix coming?
Why has this version of Acrobat 26.1 been causing my computer to freeze so frequently recently?
After updating to macOS 27, Acrobat 2020 crashed. I uninstalled it and tried to reinstall it. I received the message: ‘Unsupported system’. I managed to reinstall it, but I can’t activate it. I’ve done everything I could with the help of Adobe Support Service and, in the end, I was offered a discount on an annual subscription. Can Adobe decide to swap a perpetual licence for an annual subscription? Moreover, I have the same product installed on another computer, where it works perfectly fine. What do you think I should do in this situation?
Buenas noches me cobraron la suscripción se vencía hoy y yo la cancele y aún así me cobraron quiero la devolución de mi dinero
How do I get the PDF file to stop automatically opening in Adobe when I download a PDF? This is not a browser issue, as it is not opening up in my Chrome browser; it is opening up on my computer with Adobe. This just started a few days ago, and I have not changed any of my Adobe settings. Thanks!
The question is in the title: this dialogue box asks you to use the ‘Save a Copy’ option.Has it disappeared into the depths of the new interface, or have I missed something?
Hello Adobe Community,I am experiencing an issue while using Adobe Acrobat and would appreciate guidance from the community. Could someone please suggest troubleshooting steps or point me toward the relevant documentation?Thank you for your help.
im trying to open adobe acrobat on my apple mac it jumps once on my home page then just doesnt open
Hello everyone,I am facing a persistent issue with Adobe Acrobat Pro 2024 on macOS (Apple Silicon) where the editing sidebar becomes completely blank/empty when clicking "Edit PDF" or accessing specific tools. After extensive troubleshooting and multiple sessions with Adobe support, I have isolated the exact behavior: Not an installation corruption: Acrobat tools load correctly when running under the macOS root account, but fail on standard/admin user accounts. Fresh Account Behavior: On a brand-new macOS admin account, the tools load once on the very first launch, but the sidebar goes permanently blank on the second launch (indicating an AcroCEF cache corruption or sandbox failure). Exhausted standard fixes: I have already cleared caches, repaired disk permissions, removed AcroCEF folders, disabled 2D acceleration, cleared Saved Application State, and reset firewall settings. No UI Workaround: Since the classic Acrobat interface toggle was removed from this build, there is no way
This will seem like an odd question. I have recently bought a new iMac. I have downloaded and installed all my Adobe programs on the new computer. All that is fine. I didn't remove all the apps from my old computer... just in case something happens to my new one (it's happened to me before). However, in the meantime... I'd like to be able to open PDFs on my old computer, so I figured I'd just download the free version of Acrobat. When I try, it says I have a version of Acrobat already installed... and it won't let me install the free version. So I thought I'd just remove the installed version of Adobat DC. But... apparently Adobe Creative Cloud was automatically removed when I installed the programs on my new computer. OK. In my Acrobat folder on my old computer, I see "Acrobat Uninstaller." But when I click on that, nothing happens. So... is there anything I can do? Or do I just need to delete all my Adobe apps from my old computer? And if so, what is the best way to do this now that
I want the final output to look like this.so that I can easily verify if the OCR was performed correctly. How can I achieve this? I tried following the steps in the link below, but I encountered an error, as shown in the screenshot.
