I have been trying to get help with various pieces of software that was purchased with Adobe Creative Suite CS6 (Master Collection). The help is none existent and they don’t care. I sound like a whiner,  but the majoring of you know better. It’s crap and the upgrade to CS6 was and is the worst experience of my adult computer experience. I have been with Adobe PageMaker and went through PageMaker 4 (whatever the last # was before CS1) and into CS1 – CS5 and even CS 5.5. I have had problems with InDesign working with xml and Extension Manger with Dreamweaver.  The xml problem was the end of the line. The tech support person who was designated for InDesign had the nerve to ask, “why are you trying to work with xml”.  I flipped out. This is part of InDesign that has been with InDesign since CS4 and has made leaps and bounds improvements with CS6. I have trouble opening acrobate files with reader 10.1.7. When I click on the file to open it with adobe reader x, nothing happens. If I click on Adobe Reader X icon, a message comes up: preparing to install. After that, I can open a PDF, but only until the next reboot.

Hi.  I'm running into an issue when I import in RAW/NEF files into LR5 for processing that I could use some help with.  I understand the basics of RAW files, that LR5 & ACR can generally only read the basic info from the camera's sensor/EXIF file (ISO, shutter speed, exposure, wb) and pretty much dismisses customized settings the user sets in the camera when shooting. Given that I tend to do the majority of my frame set-up in-camera however, having LR5 dismiss those customized settings is creating a tremendous amount of rework with varied levels of success for me in simply getting the shot back to the same level as what I'm pulling out of the camera.Is there a work-around or way to import Nikon's sensor data or to set up a custom color profile in LR5 that I can build to mirror Nikon's sensor data, or am I pretty much out of luck with finding an efficient solution to this issue that doesn't involve using some other third-party software to do RAW/NEF file conversion?

I got CS6 through creative cloud, and now with the new CC updates, many of the features that I rely on are no longer supported.How can I get CS6 back, and then cancel CC?

Why can't I update my Adobe-id?If I sign in on adobe.com, go My Adobe ID, It shows all my old information. But evertything is grayed out, so I cannot update anything. There is a spinning wheel on the site, but it's there for 10 minutes now. I tried Safari, Chrome and Firefox, but no succes.

1)  Can't upload files to Creative Cloud:  "an error occurred"2)  Contacted chat:  15 minutes after the agent started the chat, I was still without help.  Had to stop due to other obligation.3) Tried another browser:  Couldn't find my Creative Cloud desktp; was directed to install Creative Cloud App, "download manager began installing (again); 5 minutes later, was on Creative Cloud desktop and got message that  programs have updates; couldn't update because my password wasn't accepted "administrator privileges are required" (I am the one and only Administrator); can't find any place to activate my "administrator".......Gave up.4) Gave up.

I completed the online form, but the verification box is no longer linked. I sent tweets to the two people listed with no response. I can do this without Adobe, but I'd rather have their support. Suggestions?

On screens with width resolution 1024 px, the right column takes up much space. There is often not space enough on the main part of the screen, for code samples and images in the messages to show without vertical scrolling. And the category texts are written on top of each other, if the "path" is long, as marked by a red square in the image below:Best regards,Andreas

Something seems to have changed in the Adobe Forums, between mid-day (PDT) June 23 and June 24.I can no longer Insert Image (camera icon on Forum Edit screen). The screen starts to load, but hangs, with no dialog boxes.This worked well, on Sunday, June 23, up to about 2:00PM PDT. As of June 24, it no longer works.I am on Chrome (went to it about 2 years ago, when IE8 quit allowing Inserted Images, and Chrome worked perfectly) on a PC with XP-Pro SP-3 (updated manually, but for last week). Tested IE8, and it still will not allow me Insert Image.I have cleared Cache and Cookies, with no improvement.Anyone else having this problem?Thanks,Hunt

I think one of the people runing the system Lou Ann  frequents these forums as well.  The Ask AcrobatUsers. com forum link has been broken for two days now. I've tried using SeaMonkey, FireFox, Chrome, Maxthon, iCab, Omniweb, Opera, OperaNext, Safari and Auroa.

Without going into huge detail, I am ready to buy a new desktop for my photography hobby.  I am still runningCS3 (hoping that will work with Windows 7?), Corel Paint Shop Pro X (yeah, I know I have really old software, but Idon't feel the need to upgrade just yet), Picasa, and all the software that comes with my Canon 40D.  I take all my pics in .raw and then edit/convert.  I have a 1 terabyte eternal drive where I store my photos, but editing from that source is S-L-O-W. Someone mentioned on another site something about aneSata drive.  Need more info. (I want an easy way to backup myphotos monthly, because I have a fear of someone breaking in my home, stealing my pc and then all my photos are gone. With the external drive, I can put it in my safe deposit box.)I want a monitor (preferably not widescreen) that will be accurate with color and not have a glare, maybe 20" or so.  I print photos at home on my HP Photosmart printer, but I also have some printed prof

Hello everyone, I've been trying to get back in the graphic design industry for a while now and I was going to do 2 things, get my certification in Adobe Illustrator (ACE) and get my resume professionally written. (By Monster.com)But lately I've been thinking; should I even bother doing both? I can afford to do both but at the same time I'm not made of money. Basically I'm asking if the ACE is even worth it; some people say yes and some people say no, it seems to be the same thing when it comes to resume writing services too.So what are your thoughts; which choice would be better if I could only choose one? I've looked into this question beforehand and am still not sure.

Hi,I'm hoping to attract some assistance from an Adobe representative?We're a web design agency who have a number of software subscriptions and ongoing problems with Adobe billing / customer support. I've spent hours of wasted business hours on the phone and so am trying the forums instead. The last person I spoke to last week, Prabhanjan, abandoned my call after 1hr and 20mins, as he didn't know how to fix the billing issue we have and said he couldn't give me any ref / case number to call back with. Extremely frustrating and very poor customer service. The series of billing issues we've had over the past 4 months have all been due to errors on Adobe's part and have been a nightmare to resolve. There are no email addresses to contact, so I'm hoping someone might pick this thread up?The problem that we're currently having is related to vat.Thanks in advance.

I am looking that Russian support is very pure. Site adobe.ru has links to fake documents, for example: given links to manuals for CS6, but ahen I clik on it I'v got 1page PDF with CS6 English manual and CS5.5 manual. No clear links for feedback (I am even not shure that somebody will read this, but it's problem more for all adobe products, has long been considered a good practice have link for feedback or bugreport from program directly) No Russian forum, problems in Russian vertion of inDesign. For sure other Russian products have them too. No month licenses, saw it only for English version.I understand that no so lot of moneys from Russia. Everybidy use pirate's vertions and so on... But fact is that yours product used, needed, have specialists and I am sure can be selled somehow anyway. It's interrelation. And only Adobe have ability cahnge it. Stupid wait from pepople that they will start buy your product and bring moneys at ones without normal service and flaxible cost politic.

I have been using PS and LR for a few years and now I have CC so I have access to all the apps. I have a huge online backup system going and now am running into issues trying to find photos/vids. I am hoping someone can help me with this question. I currently use CrashPlan+ to back up all my pic/vid files. I have no complaints except when I want to use restore I can only see file type/name but not a preview. So its hit and miss when trying to restore a generic file name photo/vid. My question is, is there an Adobe CC product that I can use to generate separate thumbnails that I can generate and save to a file that has all the files in a given folder. That way I can just restore the thumbnail file for that folder and see what files are in it with preview pics and find which files on the CrashPlan+ restore console to download. That way I can restore a much smaller file with views of all pics vs having to restore a whole folder of 25+mb files just to find the one I want.  Thanx in ad

My CS6 Production suite for Windows 8 does not update from the help menu? The appilcation Manager says: "The update server is not respondiing, the server might be offline temporarily..." I have registered correctly. I have turned off my AVG virus protection and tried to update my software, still the Application Manager gives the same response. When I login, I can see that my serial numbers are there, so it must have registered correctly.Help!
