This forum barely works on an iPad.Formatting is still iffy, and worse than that, there is no ability to edit an existing post. Not to point out the obvious but there are upwards of a hundred million of these things out there now (I am typing this on ours).I really hope Adobe has plans to include iPad on the list of systems its forums are designed to run on properly one day soon.-Noel
The subject says it all. Why do we need that column? It just occupies real estate.

As of this AM, August 01, 2012, the ability to Link a URL seems to have ceased to work. The dialog box never goes beyond a black field, so no URL input box.As of yesterday, it was working fine.Have tried with Chrome and IE 7 & 8, with the same results.Hunt
Has something changed in the forum software to cause the rendering on an iPad (second generation) to be screwed up? Portions of the right hand column ("Top Participants", etc) intrude into the "Modify Date" section. It's a mess.Yes, I have removed all Adobe website information from Safari and power-cycled the iPad.
Looks like, though I'm somehow still logged in here by virtue of a cookie or something, my Adobe ID has been screwed up, or perhaps my password has been cracked and changed by someone.I can no longer log in to my account nor can I get into the feedback.photoshop.com site.Whom should I call?-Noel
I believe it is time to reveal some of the best guarded secrets, such as these,http://forums.adobe.com/thread/419406http://forums.adobe.com/thread/414764by placing a link to them, or to a section of overall information, at the top of each forum. They are there, of course, but which proportion of newcomers will find their way to theAdobe Forums > Adobe general forumshttp://forums.adobe.com/community/general?view=discussionspage and spot them before starting to type the first urgent question an hour before the deadline of the work in question?
How do I set a different frame size for each image within a slide show. I have tried with the 'Edit together' box unchecked and with items on each page locked but it continues to change the frame size across all the pages?
This message seems to be genuine but it is unlikely to get any response because of the language:<http://forums.adobe.com/message/4599626#4599626>Perhaps move to the Japanese forums if any?
The new screen name feature is broken.. It either said screen name in use or it would not accept anything when I entered something new it's damn well broken! This needs fixed I had to create a whole new account just to be able to get logged on to this forum.
I want to ask a question about Adobe Acrobat X Suite but cannot find a suitable forum.
I'm sure this has been mentioned before, but email access to these forums (I use mainly the InDesign forums) is poorly supported. Often trying to replay via email results in a blank post. Also, questions posed via email cannot be marked as answered. If you know of anything I can do to improve the user experience on my end, I would be happy to know what it is.Thanks.ArielWindows 7 Ultimate, 6GB, with Mozilla Thunderbird for the emailing, and usually IE for browsing.
The font on these forums and many other parts of the Adobe.com site look terrible on my computer. This is on Windows XP, and I tried it on all the big browsers, and they all look like this:(Click the image to see it actual size..)
I just came across this new topic http://forums.adobe.com/thread/1041877On top of it (under the topic subject) it has a folder icon labeled Categories: bug / error.Usually that space contains tags. Anyone knows where these 'Categories' come from? I have just tried to enter a new topic, but I didn't see any such option...
I swear it used to be that more than 10 posts were listed on a given page, yet now I see threads go to 2 pages with post number 10 (in other words, the OP and 1 through 9 are on the first page, 10 through 19 on the second page, etc.).I looked through my preferences, and I don't posts per page as a configurable option anywhere (and I have no confidence I've looked in all the right places)...Did my consciousness just change universes, or is this something that's changed? -Noel
My company's corporate standard is IE 7 (7.0.6002.18005) and I can't access the forums.adobe.com content anymore. has something changed? I can't install chrome/etc nor can i install an activeX without admin access.I can create new discussions and I can see the headers of other questions. But when i try and drill down on the header to see the content I get an error on the bottom left. clicking on it reveals the following.
I notice that when reading a thread I can no longer mark a post as being helpful. Is this a new permanent change?Edit: I just realize that some threads let me mark posts as being helpful and some don't. Example of a thread where I can't mark a post as being helpful: http://forums.adobe.com/thread/1039982?tstart=0
This lady must have posted something in 2002 and recently she has started receiving forum messages and she is getting a bit titchy. Her profile is here:<http://forums.adobe.com/people/Gaby35>She had a go at Murray and Nancy (both MVPs) who were simply trying to help somebody but Lady Gaby got copies of their messages.Thanks.
I'm not sure what I am doing wrong. When I upload an image, it uploads, but then it wants me to crop it, but with no means to do so.If I just hit the crop button, I get an error. If I try to click on the image to select an area, I end up getting browser options.Suppose I don't want to crop my photo?I note I can upload 2 photos -- so I thought I could upload a 320x240 for the cropped size it seemed to want (well on user page avatar is that size, so ....)... down to a square 60x60...though I see that standard forum avatars are a woppin 30x30...(aeeeeiiii).....a splotch of color--- that must be ....soandso...!...anyway...have tried multiple images (all were png, and ... if it isn't obvious, the small one was a huge 15KB (I sort don't think size is the issue!)....Anyway...probably my browser (turned off noscript +adblock...and no sites listed with cross site refences in 'request policy'...(shows a red-flag when it blocks a cross-site request)....So I don't know of anything else that w
Just a heads up:At the moment I can't insert images into forum posts. When the camera icon is clicked the upload window does not fully render:http://assure.ly/SJ60spGoogle Chrome on Mac 10.6Thanks,Niall
I use html <code> tags sometimes when I want to instruct a user exactly what to type. This used to be displayed in a monospace font like Courier New, with a white box around it.No longer, now it just looks → like this ←Also, code boxes used to display monospace fonts, but they do no longer either. (They still have a white box around it.)code line 1 code line 2 code line 3XML and SQL code boxes still display monospace fonts, but Java and plain boxes don't.I do not care so much about the code boxes, but the <code> tags should stand out.
Gentle reminder: Time zone still cannot be re-set to PST. It returns an error.
I asked a question a few days ago, recieved an answer which helped solve my problem, I thanked the person, clicked on helpful... etc. But now I'm receiving emails all the time on subjects I haven't explored, opened, or responded to. I've gone into mail notifications and have turned everything on the list off, I've gone through my profile and I have no email notifications set. I've searched on this problem and have followed through all the 'solutions'... and all this has been done more than once. Today alone I've received 27 more emails from 'photoshop elements'.What am I missing? Why is this so hard? I'm regretting I even visited this forum. No way and I going to again chance this flood of emails concerning topics I'm not really interested in. There must be a better way to get help.

I was disconcerted by the following message from Community Help:http://forums.adobe.com/thread/1031662?tstart=0First, there is for me a lack of logic in the message itself. Thinking that this could be due to a faulty translation, I looked for a recent similar message in English, and the fault is also there:You see, there is no question in the message, but is says "this question was posted in response to the following article" (my emphasis), then it gives a link to an article, period. No response to anything. The situation is even more disconcerting in the forum in Spanish (one single forum for all Adobe products), as there is no indication whatsoever to the product the message refers to. True, in the case of the forum in Spanish, the message from Community Help is followed by a question from a participant which may or may not be related with the article in the link (which is fairly long so I didn't feel like checking if it did). In the case of the message in the screenshot above there i
