Please add a "block quote" button to the icon bar. Your old forum had such a button, and it is definitely needed here. Although this is professionally run community, it has fewer features than hobbyist run bulletin boards, and block quotes are sorely needed.

I think I've finally come to the conclusion that these forums are complete bovine scatology. I'm sick and tired of the "type the code we sent you here" bs. I decided to come back, even though this platform is completely worthless, and I get this. I'm removing all bookmarks to any Adobe forum.  I'll find my ColdFusion support somewhere else.  Somewhere decent.

Meanwhile I see the 'edit' post problem still exists and has NOT been fixed after what is it a couple of weeks, maybe more. Can't somebody who is in charge of the forum get something done about it? What is it with the Adobe employees, they seem to be frightened of their own shadow. You'd almost think that Adobe is being run by a small team of 2 people, both who sleep 23 hours per day, its poor, and unacceptable.

I couldn't find a forum about these forums (a meta forum) so I'm posting this here because it does not apply to any one, specific Adobe product. I'm active in several different Adobe products and often post questions to these forums and I've noticed lately that the "More" button doesn't seem to work. When I click it I get just a thin horizontal line.  I need it because it contains the all-important Edit button so we can make corrections or clarifications to questions we posted.  I get the exact same result in the latest versions of Chrome and Firefox.  I'm using a desktop PC running Windows.   I've attached a screenshot. Any thoughts or suggestions?  Thanks in advance!

How can one stop email spam  (that have nothing to do with Adobe) coming from Adobe Ireland? "Adobe Creative Cloud" <mail@mail.adobe.com>Doesn't exactly help Adobe's image...

Wrote out a very detailed post in the Audition forum as I need help and it's marked as spam? WTH? I'm paying quite a LOT of money each month for the software in the first place, to then get a very detailed and technical post marked as spam is NOT acceptable. I've clicked in the header to say it is NOT spam, how often does this happen? How quickly is it resolved? VERY frustrating as you might imagine.

Title says it all. Furthermore, cannot use larger fonts on these fora. I am a partly sighted person, so these problems are a notable barrier to me. I hope you bring in better standards of accessibility to your fora.

I have been trying to open new topics but I will get 503 errors in multiple adobe forums.

I have today posted my last 'code' reply in this forum until such time as the user experience improves. As I provide a lot of revised code for other users I need to be able to edit posts to ensure I provide code solutions which are of quality and work for them. I cannot do that now as it takes far too much time, concentration and effort to continue do that. I make typo mistakes just like eveyone esle and need to put them right, especially in the event of where code is being posted. I have no idea whose decison it was to scrap 'post editing' but it doenst work in circumstances where accuracy is a must. It may work in InDesign/Illustrator forums etc because no code is ever posted, just comments, which if contain a few errors it will not effect the overall experience of users. I would have thought that would have been obvious to those at Adobe making the decisions, but obviously not. Hopefully someone at the wheel will see sense at some point. Why is this forum trying to load scripts from 20+ different locations?  How is anyone meant to trust such a site? This is poor design. Please use code you've actually verified and host it yourself.

Adobe,   I've hated this platform since day one.  I even hate it more than I ever hated the Jive! platform.  Taking away the user ability to edit messages that they post is not helping.  As I've stated in another (related) thread, I'm seriously considering leaving and never coming back.  The number of people with tons of experience in the ColdFusion forum has significantly dropped.  Do you _really_ want to chase away more with this arbitrary decision?   Or, maybe I should just view this as another straw on the camel's back.  Due to the pandemic, I had to back off trying to convince management to switch to Lucee.  Think I'll double-down.   Bad decision after bad decision.  It's a wonder Adobe is still in business.

How create friends?

I want to delete a post I made but I can't. When I click on more, nothing appears. I read that only professionals Adobe users can do it, so anybody can helping me ?I think that it is incredible to not be able to delete my own post !
