Just a heads up guys. I received this PM a few hours ago. It looks like a Phishing attempt, and when I Googled her name, I found this. I am sure people are too aware to respond to this sort of message, but it does not hurt to have suspicions confirmed. This isn't an ID problem, but I'm not sure where else to post it. The thingummy at the top says I've got one unread item, but I have no unread items. It's been this way for weeks. Any ideas for correcting that?

I'm new here and I can't figure out how to use the forum. I can search. I can look at all the unanswered questions. And then there's five or six recent questions on the main page. Is that it? I hope I'm missing something. Thanks.

I couldn't find a more suitable forum category for this, so feel free to move as needed.My Adobe Forums are stuck on showing 2 Unread Notifications, even though there is nothing visible when I tick unread only.Has anyone had this issue before or know a solution?

According to this page https://forums.adobe.com/docs/DOC-4714#jive_content_id_Reporting_content there is a dedicated place to report spam messages via private message, but I was unable to find it. I just received three messages in the span of ten minutes from someone with an empty profile (ravid74311405). Also, all but one of the messages were blank and the third message just said "Xxx". I've attached a screenshot. There really should be a report, block or at the very least a delete feature in the private message. I looked at various threads to see how I can report this but to no avail.
I've search in Edit Profile and cannot find out how to change my email in my account. How can I do this?Thanks

I won't lie, I fell for it and did give them my serial number, but its an expired number I was trying to get help for previously (before I knew it was expired), so I don't feel particularly bad about it. I'll be sure to be more vigilante in the future however. Anyways, the guy I want to report is Adobe Steve Nason.I did provide the serial number (whoops!) but its expired, so no harm done. Goes on to ask about google hangout and skype. Sorry for making a forum post for something like this, I'm still trying to learn how to navigate the site/forums, and haven't been able to find any report functions.

I posted a question and then this person contacted me directly posing as working for Adobe. I got suspicious after he asked for the serial number.

Hello,our IT department recently took over my (admin) account (they want to monitor our Adobe subscriptions themselves now) and created a new subaccount to replace my original account. However, when I use this new subaccount on the support forums, I have no access to the history of the original account, of course.I still have access to the original account, but I'd prefer to not use it for the forums. And since the email has changed on the original account I probably won't be getting notifications on feedback on the forums anyway.Is there a way to move my posts from the original account to my new subaccount?Thanks for your feedback Tom
