I'm considering moving our solution from MadCap Flare to RoboHelp due to frustration with bugs in Flare and the lack of any meaningful development for years. I've managed to get relatively up to speed with RoboHelp pretty quickly and it seems like it could work, with a few notable differences that I can work around. One issue I can't solve however, is PDF output "works" but RoboHelp gets stuck on "Applying PDF settings" that doesn't disappear unless I restart the application. It does generate the output properly, but this is a bit frustrating. Does anyone have experience with this happening? Thanks!

Robohelp Version 2022.6.34 | WordCount (baseline script)I need to generate a word count of our Robohelp projects for translation cost estimates and thought I'd try the WordCount script. When I tried to use it, however, I was greeted with a few errors.When I double-click to execute the script, I get "Script Execution error withStyles is not a function",then when I open in edit mode there are the following warnings/errors:Line 19: ['MaterialUI'] is better written in dot notation.Line 86: Unclosed regular expression. Unrecoverable syntax error . (47% scanned)This is using the built-in WordCount script. I have not edited it in any way. I tried creating a new blank project and get the same with that version of the WordCount. Hi,I have connected Azure DevOps without error to my project on another device (using the second activation license). The connection configuration is identical to the one defined on my first device. When I click on check in, the dialog box is empty and there are no files to archive. I have to use TFS to check in and get latest.I'm using the latest version RH 2022 v6 on two devices, not at the same time.Does anyone know what the problem is?Thanks

I'm using Robohelp 2017. I have the output of a sample that has an accordion or tabbed interactive on the page. When you touch a bar on the page, it expands and yuo can see additional text. When you touch another one, the previous bar closes and the new one expands. I don't know how else to explain this but I'm trying to figure out how to do this. I don't have the source files. Is this a widget or some feature in Robohelp that I can insert on my pages. I am trying to create a procedure manual and I like this design. Thanks in advance for your help.

Hello, After updating Robhelp RH2022 from version 3 to version 6, the variable edit is empty. The variables are lost in all the content.Has anyone had this problem?

hello everyone, I have a problem on version 2022.5.28.I would like to create a word document from help and if I insert the filters ''including expanding text or drop down text'' the system gives an error. I would like to point out that this type of request works in the previous version.How do I solve the problem?The error it gives is this:ENOENT: no such file or directory, lstat 'C:\Users\ALECCE_D\AppData\Local\Temp\RHTMP\provvigioni3ppoXl\provvigioni giugno 2028.docx'Failed to generate provvigioni. In generated output I enter ELEMENT as my search term and, as well as sensible suggestions being presented (such as ELEMENTS and ELEMENT'S) I get some rather bizarre suggestions, such as  ELMENTADD.Worried that I had let a few typos into the content I selected ELMENTADD and was offered five hits. But when I searched through these five documents I couldn't find any instance of ELMENTADD.I then went back to the corresponding RH documents and searched for ELMENTADD in both the content and the source code … but still no hits. Where is RH picking up its predictuve search text from and is it something we can somehow control?Geoffrey

Hi All, I am using RoboHelp 2022.3.93. Can I check my product help manuals for broken links when my help pages exceed 1500 pages?Because I don't see my RoboHelp debugger being effectively working in checking for broken links.Can someone please reply to this post? Thanks,Anand

I'm using RoboHelp 2022.5.28 fo rmy help system, and I have a problem with the fonts in my output header and TOC. Here is a screen shot: The fonts in the topic content are correct, and they are Roboto. In the TOC and header, though, it's Times Roman. This happens when the help is embedded in the application. If I double-click on the index.html file and open it in a browser, the fonts are fine. I believe there are extra carriage returns in one of the files that causes this (maybe?). Has anyone see this before? Thank you!Cindy 

Iam trying to convert my Robohelp Classic 2019 projects to Robohelp 2022 but they do not seem to be converting over correctly. The style sheets and master pages I use in classic are .htt and .css files. Is it possible to convert these without losing the Topic Layouts and Stylesheets?  Also, are these style sheets and topic layout files able to be used for new projects in RH2022 if imported correctly or do they need to be coded differently for HTML5 output?

I have been creating CHMs using RH 2020 for several years now. All of a sudden, the help file won't open within the application. We recently upgraded to Windows 11. Is there some compatibility issue with Win 11 all of a sudden?

Hi, I am facing a couple of issues in Robohelp 2022.3.93. Right-clicking on a sub-topic in the right panel doesn't take me to the relevant sub-topic; instead, it lands me on the main topic page. When right-clicking on a subtopic and opening a new tab, it doesn't land on a sub-topic. It goes to the topic mid and not precisely to the topic header, so I have to scroll up.Can someone please respond?Thanks,Anand  

Our organisation is migrating our applications to Azure and team is building a CI/CD pipeline for build and deployment.They were able to do the build using Command Line script.But the problem is, the Runner they use it for pipe line dont have internet connection.So every time when they run the the piple line , Robohelp triggers licence expire error .Is there any solution to this problem ? Do this tool need Internet available always ?

I have an existing project which already includes a lot of content. And I should add that the project is based on content upgraded from the old Robohelp 2017 and the continuously worked on using Robohelp 2022.So I need to import e.g. 524 HTML topics. These HTML topics are pretty simple, just text with no images and I have verified that the included CSS URL is valid i.e. the CSS files are already present in the project. I am running the latest version, I updated today, and I experienced the same with the previous version. I run the HTML import process and it will import what seems like a maximum of 255 topics. I get an Application error prompt, which I dismiss and then I see a HTML import prompt listing the title of the last topic currently being imported, so the file number 255,  and that HTML import prompt doesn't seem to go away until I dismiss it.And it seems to that get all 524 topics imported I have to try and import them in batches. Note: Before anyone as

These manuals are published directly from FrameMaker (in addition to the PDF format) as responsive HTML5 and then used as online help for a software application.Since some descriptions are repeated in a manual, we use text insets in which we define markers (e.g., "DP123" as a marker of type "TopicAlias"). We are currently facing a recurring accessibility issue in the Frameless output of Adobe RoboHelp (2022), specifically related to the Table of Contents (TOC) navigation when using screen readers such as NVDA. Issue Summary: Whenever a top-level TOC node is expanded (e.g., "Home"), focus unexpectedly shifts back to the first TOC item (typically “Welcome”) instead of moving to the first child of the expanded node. This results in screen readers announcing: “Level 1: Welcome” ...rather than: “Level 2: [First child item]” This behavior breaks logical focus order and negatively affects accessibility compliance (WCAG 2.1: Keyboard and Focus Management, Section 508).   We kindly request your guidance on addressing this issue.

Hi, I am facing an issue while generating my help. In RoboHelp version 2022.3.93, I noticed that the product help title sometimes clutters with the search icon or disappears when I click the search icon while using the Frameless Skin. This issue is only apparent after clicking the search icon.Can someone please provide support on this.Thanks,Anand 

This is a question aimed at those who've upgraded to RH 2022.6: have you experienced any bugs or problems so far? It's to check if it's worth the effort to upgrade to the newest version (mostly re-testing the various scripts that work on 2022.5) as I can't see any major new features aside from security fixes. Does it crash more/less/as often?For whom the review function previously did not work - does it work now?... I'd normally check the bug tracker but ...  

Hi, Is there a way to edit my tooltip text in RoboHelp 2022.3.93 version?  When I mouse over my company name, the tooltip text appears as "Logo," but can I change this to my company name?Can someone help me on this.Thanks,Anand  

RH2020.8.34 I imported one FM document because I want to use the styles from FM in my RH project. Instead of recreating the FM styles in RH, is there a simple way to get the styles I want from the Agency_Services.css into the cswcbase.css? Thanks. 

I downloaded the 2022.6 update for macOS today. The Commit dialog says "Commit to (no repository)". None of the commands in the Collaborate menu seem to do anything useful. I created a new connection profile but that didn't help. Now downloading the 2022.5 installer.

In a project, there are more than 10 book with sub-books and topics (700+). Observations:Ouput is getting generated for some specific books of TOC.But, the entire project with the complete TOC, the responsive output is not getting generated. Can see the output generation process, but after some time, the ouput process gets stucked with a specifc topic (somtimes differenct topic names) and not moving ahead. Removing the specific topics from the TOC is not a proper solution. RH is not showing any logs or error messages for this issue. RH version 2022.4.179 Please help

Hi, In Robohelp 2022.3.93 I have trouble viewing the entire glossary and index content. The footer overlaps the content, and I cannot scroll down to the bottom of the glossary/index to view its contents. Do this glossary and index have standard settings to overcome this? Is there any option to remove the shadow of TOC Tiles in homepage?When I change the theme colors to dark, it is more prominent. I want to remove the effect.
