HELP! I have tried everything I can think of. Here is the issue: Project created, TOC is correct, I generate and all my topics are in the output. When I publish it adds all my TOC topics but does not include the topic and I can clearly see in my network folder (where publish files go)  that they are not there. It is skipping about 80 topics and they all seem to be at the end of my publish list. It almost feels like its running out of room for the information! I have re-published multiple times. Deleted output and network folder contents for fear of ghost files. I have no idea where to look next to solve this issue. Error message is correct because the file did not publish. What I can't figure out is why it generates but does not publish. Error Message is: 404 - File or directory not found.The resource you are looking for might have been removed, had its name changed, or is temporarily unavailable.

I am working at PengVin Affärssystem AB (Sweden)We have recently upgrade from robohelp 2017 to robohelp 2020We build the project as WebHelp / Responsive HTML 5 I have found that the "searchengine" in 2019/2020 does not receive the expected number of hits.sometimes the difference is very large compared to the old. For en example:Searching for the word "Ordererkännande" (=order acknowledgement)you got 29 hits in the old buildURL for test:https://webhelp.prod.pengvin.se/webhelp2020/PengVinHelp.htm#Order/Orderregistrering_Q.htm In the build from robohelp 2019/2020 you got none result .PengVinHelp (listen2music.se)The content in both cases is the sameIf you search for the word "Fakturor" (=Invoices) you got even worse differences94 hits in the old build and only 4 in the new buildIf you search for the word "Faktura" (=Invoice) you got 118 hits in the old build and only 149 in the new buildand so on... In robohelp output we have these settings for search 

Background: I'm having issues outputting to Zendesk using the Knowledge Base output preset. As a test, I want to try using the Content Only output preset. The actual issue: I have my publish profile set up correctly. When on the Publish page of the Content Only output preset, there are no publish profiles from which to choose.  I can generate but when I try to publish, I receive (as expected) an error that there is no selected publish profile and would I like to select one. I choose yes but then nothing happens. I feel like I'm missing something?

Hi,Dear Team, I'm using Robohelp 2020, I need to generate a CHM Output with UTF-8 with BOM, I couldnt see any encoding dropdown in Microsoft HTML Help > Output Presets.  Is any other way to get the CHM with UTF-8 with BOM Could you please help me resolving this issue? Thanks and regards,Saravanan M

I'll start with I have already gone through Peter Grainge's site and watched the recording on multi-level lists. It was all VERY helpful, but I am still struggling a little. We are upgrading multiple projects from Classic to RH 2020. We had paragraph styles and multi-list in the old style and of course some of that is not coming over. I have set up the levels with the new Multi-list style but it indents far more than we wanted. It looks like it's  not indented in the .css view, but it is in the preview of the output. I've selected the indent buttons but it doesn't change. Here it is in the template view...Here it is in the preview of  topic with that template and ol paragraph tag (I put Tab text in to show that I used tabs to get the level I wanted):Examples of what I am trying to recreate (of course it doesn't exactly match the above, but I wanted to show you how/why we'd use these levels):Thanks for any help you can give.

TLS 1.2 - is there a place within Robohelp that one can control the TLS settings once the help project is published to the server?

Hi,In my recent manual builds, search has not been working (searching for something returns 0 results). I can only describe this behaviour as random - one time it was fixed with a simple CSS change (which was unrelated!) and then I tried different combinations of CSS changes which fixed or broke the search at random with no consistency. Right now I am at an exact state at which the search was previously working, but now it's not, and I don't want to keep tinkering with the CSS any further as I cannot figure out what is fixing or breaking it and it just seems random.I'm using the latest update for RH2019 (New UI). The output I'm using is Responsive HTML5.By the way, if I import the same project into RH2020, it works. Before I have to upgrade to 2020 I want to know if there is a way to fix this in 2019.Thanks!

I am inserting a small image inside a numbered list. The number then stays on the line and the text is displayed below the number line. Any suggestions on how to fix this?Thanks

I'm using RH2019. I'm so sorry if this is obvious to locate. I can't find the Bookmark Manager like I used to in version 2017. Is this feature gone? Where can I find the Bookmark Panel/List/Manager? Thank you so much.

I have downloaded the Advance Online Help Source file and extracted them to my desktop (image below). I would like to upload these files into RoboHelp 2019 Classic to edit, but when I try to open the files in RoboHelp 2019 they are not there. The file type should be RoboHelp, but I don’t know how to get the source files to save as RoboHelp files.

Hi, I am using Robohelp 2020 and I am facing some issues. I cannot make the text Bold or Italic even after using shortcut key and also options available in editor.

The “Studio” frameless skin is used for publish. And the TOC output is not what I expected. When I clicked the "Director" tile, the link page shows all TOC for both "Director" and "Vobot" where I only want the "Director" TOC to display only. I cannot find the corresponding settings to modify in Skin editor. And the developper cannot find the corresponding file to modify either. Is there a way to change this respond event? Thanks a lot.

Hello,I have a frameless Online Help. Some titles of the tiles are slightly long. Can we wrap the tiles to another line?

I want to remove the dot from the currently selected topic in my studio skin. However, I cant work out where this is configured.  I am in Topic page > Left panel. I think this should be the selected-title option, but I cant see where you configure the dot?   

It is possible to format the search results.However, when we do this in Robohelp 2020, it does not apply this formatting.Is this a known bug or are we doing something wrong here?Screenshots are attached

As a user of the previous versions of Robohelp, where I just told my develuper where to find the webhelp folder so that he can include in our application. Now it seems after creating the mappings (same as previous version), I successfully generate and view the webhelp. However, do I now have to publish my webhelp, for my developer to have a folder he can utilise. But when I do try to publisf it asks for a plublish profile, I can only see Robohelp Server in the profile (and I dont want a server), other oprions are not for Robohelp as I can see. How do I therefore provide my developer with the relevant webhelp?

Hi everyone, I have a legacy project that was upgraded from RH 2015 (created originally with RH 10) to RH 2020 (now on 2020.4.173).  I ran the Broken Links report and received a huge list, including broken links to topics, images, master pages, js, snippets, and css.  I random checked some of the listed broken topic links and found none of them to be broken.  They appeared just fine, all links worked, the snippets were fine, etc. Does anyone know why RH is generating these false broken links?  I'd like this to work so that I can use it for finding actual REAL borken links! I created a Responsive HTML project in Robohelp 2019. It looks pretty good, but I would like assistance with a few questions.  1) When my online help displays in the Application, it is only about 1/4 of the screen on the right. I am not able to expand it to a full page. Is this normal, or is there a settings I can build it with? 2) How do I remove the Index and the glossary Icon when I am displaying my online help in the application? 3) I have an arrow displaying on the bottom of the help screen. When I click it, the word "Tweet" displays.  Please see the 3 screenshots below (one for each question). Thank you in advance for your help. 

Hi RoboHelp Community, When I researched RoboHelp a short while ago, I stumbled across a training video that included a practice file. I just can't seem to find that video now or the practice file. Does this sound familiar to anyone?? Or, is anyone willing to part with a file/template I can use (I started the 30-day trial yesterday)? The training videos I'm finding now all seem to be geared towards marketing the new features/functions (which are amazing . . . don't get me wrong!), but I need a little i+1 help to hit the ground running with a current project!  I greatly appreciate all you do. Hi, I want to start using Robohelp (2020.2.29) to generate an online help from a Framemaker document. When I link or import the file I can choose from which style a new topic should be started, i.e. the styles are correctly read from my document. However, when I click on Update/Create Topics, only an empty folder is created and RH shows "Success - HTML generated" pretty qickly for the big document I'm importing. No topics are generated. For comparison I tried a Word document. That worked fine. But even a small Framemaker file that I created for testing did not work. Any idea? Thanks,Marco.

Hi all,Does RH2019 produce a log file when it is generating? If so, could someone tell me where it is stored please?Am using RH2019 Classic, and all was going well until 30 minutes ago. I have been conditionalising some (simple) text and generating to Word, as well as making some other changes. All of a sudden, the generation process gets to "Updating files" and stops, then crashes. Every time.I CAN generate to Word successfully when I don't use a Conditional Build Expression, but I was using one earlier and it worked fine.  I also CAN generate to HTML5. Definitely looks like it's something I have done this morning that has upset it - but I have no idea what and really could do with a log file that might give me a clue.Any help gratefully received.
