I have multiple projects in Robohelp 2011 that I upgraded to 2019 and they are working OK except for one thing.  I have thousands of Hyperlinks that start with See also: where the Highlight color is green with the font color being white.  Using RoboHelp 2011, both the Webhelp output and the PDF output when you pick View Item - in Google Chrome and then print to PDF are the same.But in Robohelp 2019 Classic, the PDF output does not display the Highlight color at all, so it shows characters with a white color against a white background - not good.  The printer driver is the same Microsoft Print to PDF for both Robohelp applications, but they don't work the same way.

Hello,i am currently using Robohelp 2019, and for generating output i usually use tags to display what is necessary but what i realise is that all the files in the project are also generated which creates a huge size for the output file with unnecessary topics .What can i do to reduce the size of output file ? is it possible to delete not needed topics ? I am new to RoboHelp 2019 and been trying to work out a few problems. I have spoken with Adobe tech support and they were not able to answer a few of my questions. I am hoping someone out there can. Here are the questions:1. Classic 2019 contains framesets but new 2019 does not (at least I cannot find it in the product). Will it be supported or is it a dropped feature?2. New 2019 seems a bit buggy right now but Classic 2019 works smoothly. When Adobe moves forward, will Classic version also be updated, or is Adobe's plan only to update the New 2019?3. In New 2019 update 4 I could upgrade a project file from version 2015, but I was having a few css issues (hence the call to tech support). Tech support's first move was to have me go to update 5. So I deleted my test upgrade project and made the update. Now New 2019 doesn't allow me to upgrade ANY projects so I am dead in the water except to start with a new project -- which puts me back with a few css issues. Is any one else have a probl

I can't find out how to format a list of instructions with numbers or bullets in Robohelp 2019 Classic.  There is no format choice.

HelloI have recently upgraded RoboHelp Classic (RH 2017) projects to RoboHelp 2019, and am outputting basic WebHelp.I have RH version 2019.5 on Windows 10.When I generate output, the target output folder includes all of my RH project files, including the .RHPJ file and other files and folders that have always been "internal" to the project and not part of the file package that I deliver to Development for inclusion in the web application product.In past versions of RoboHelp (2015, 2017), this was never an issue.  How can I exclude the "internal" project files from the output folder?  I would like a nice clean folder that contains only the required files and directories. I'm generating a PDF via Printed Documentation in 2019 Classic. How does RoboHelp determine what to include on the ToC? I used the ToC from my regular project but I only want to include a subset of topics so I removed all the folders I don't want in the generated document in the Chapter Layout. Hello,I am using Conditional Text throughout my project to generate 2 versions of the document. I have conditions set on text within topics as well as conditions set on the topic level.When I generate my 2 Responsive HTML5 versions, at first, everything looks fine - the text within the topics is correctly generated and TOC is displaying the correct topics. However, when I do a search in one version, I'm seeing hits from topics from the OTHER version, which is not exactly the desired experience. Plus, the breadcrumbs that appear below it makes the search look messy (see attached image - as you can see, I am suppressing the Context line because I felt it was just too wordy for the search panel).I have tried the "Exclude this topic from search" option in "Topic Properties," but this is just not practical to maintain w/ the number of files (and me forgetting that I need to turn OFF that setting, etc.). I just don't understand why the Conditional Text is NOT being respected here for searchi

I have set up my topic headers (Heading 1, Heading 2, Heading 3, etc.) to include a background color as well as font color, but when I generate my HTML Preset the styles are not displayed. My skin is Azure Blue. I have set up my heading styles as per screen capture on left below. But when I my generate my preset those heading styles are not included. I am trying out RoboHelp 2019.  I have a large project to complete.  All of the sudden I am getting "Output generation failed.".  I have deleted the last few pages and I am still getting it.  Is the any way to find out what is causing this?  Error log? A way to fix?Thanks,

I am trying to apply my P style to text in a table, but it just doesn't happen. I've tried more obvious changes like to a heading and that doesn't work either. If I go into the source and add <p> tags around my text, I can then make changes (so I can change it to a heading, which I don't really need to do of course). Just wondering if I'm doing something wrong, or if other people are having the same problem too.

I'm using Adobe Robohelp 2017 (13.0.0.257). It seems to me that I had an upgrade in the last week or two, but I can't be sure with all the upgrades I went through recently. At any rate, this problem has just begun to happen.When I highlight text in a topic and drag another topic name from the Table of Contents to create a link, Robohelp has always created a link to that file name. Recently it has begun to randomly create a path to the file on my C:\ drive, so I'm the only one that can use the links. This doesn't happen 100% of the time. In fact, we tested it doing exactly the same steps (highlight, click, drag) and the first time we got a C:\ directory link. Seconds later, the link was fine with just the file name. So now I have to check the properties of every link I create that way to make sure Robohelp applied it correctly.Is this already known? If so, is there a patch? Or should I report it?

A bookmark that links within the same topic appears multiple times in the Project Manager and File Status. Any ideas on how to remove the repeated items? Thank you!

Hi,Does anyone have a solution to this predicament?  All of a sudden Robohelp 2015 decided to display anchors in topics as topics and topics containing the anchors as books when you move the topics/folders from the Project Manager tab to the TOC side.If I move the topic on its own it looks fine but the anchor call doesn't work from Chrome, Edge and/or Firefox.  The page loads but it does not bring you to the anchor.  It only works under IE...  This is true no matter how the topic is moved over to the TOC.The project is being compiled as Responsive HTML5.Thanks,John

I can see all three drop-down titles on output, but cannot see the drop-down text on editing. I am trying to use list and/or a multi-level list. Jeff helped me to create the three drop-downs that I am able to see on output, however, when I try to edit, I am unable to see the text. The screen capture below is on the edit screen. The edit screen is supposed to display the drop-down text. I do not want to try to edit this in HTML. I have been trying to accomplish this for two days now. Need to get going. Please help.

Hi there!Does anyone have an idea how to detect a search result from the HTML5 output in the TOC? When I search for a key word in the help output, I want to select the desired topic. Then, when moving to the TOC tab, I want all folders to unfold and show, where exactly this topic is located in the help. This would help me to also scan nearby files for further information I might need.I am confident that this worked some time ago, but now, neither in Chrome nor Firefox this seems to be possible. Sometimes, the TOC folds up one level at least, but as far as I can see, this only happens after a refresh, not, if any folder has been opened previous.By the way -  I had the same problem with an Adobe help for Robohelp - I opened a topic from Google search, then clicked "Show Navigation Component" in the header area and the TOC only unfolded one level, but I could not see where exactly my result is stored.Does anyone have similar issues? Is there anything else I can do to support my reade

I have tried to make this work so that I can display three drop-down menus in a row and upon output all three drop-down titles display and then I am able to see the drop-down text when editing. I am trying to use list and/or a multi-level list. I get various combinations. I can either see all three drop-down titles on output, but cannot see the drop-down text on editing or I cannot see all of the drop-down titles on output, but am able to see the drop-down text on edit. See the example of screens below. Below is the view when editing. Above is the view on output. Unable to see Views and Device Actions on output. However when I click Tree Actions all three display.

I need to import Robohelp projects with *.xpj names into Robohelp 2019 Classic. but it only wants to see *.hpj names.  Rename the extensions?

Hello,I've put together a collection of imported .pdf documents into a topic. Is there any way to have the search feature in Robohelp search the contents of the attachments?  I'm sure this is a NO but was wondering if there are other ideas out there?  Thank-you!

My company is trying to make our help system, created using RoboHelp HTML 2015, Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) compliant at the "AA" level. Has anyone had their Responsive HTML5 output successfully evaluated as WCAG-compliant? Our developers are concerned the tabbing order from table of contents to content window will cause us to fail.

Asking question again. Recently updated to RoboHelp 2019. Primary Output is WebHelp. Search works perfectly. I then have to do Output of WebHelp to CHM because our software product running Help needs it in CHM. When I view CHM output, all the data is there, e.g. TOC, topics, etc. however, when I try to search nothing is retrieved. I'm having difficulty locating project settings for CHM output. I thought maybe it was issue with skin I used in RoboHelp 11, so I updated skin and still search only working in WebHelp output, not CHM. Below are my WebHelp Settings for Search

I know that svn isn't supported yet. All of the marketing materials said svn would work, and the videos all say svn is supported, so we bought it only to find out that they're still working on it. Unfortunately, still working on it isn't an answer I can use right now, as my developers only use svn and I have to get this newly upgraded project to fit into the svn model now, not when three more service packs are released. So, with that in mind, has anyone had any success using svn with the new RH 2019 format? I'm contemplating just putting the project into source control, and using tortoise to do the svn update before I update, manually check out files in tortoisesvn when I need to edit things. I have one user, though, who is very wary of svn and is easily frustrated by it, so I'm not sure that's a plan of action I'm ready to take. Hello,we are currently using Adobe RoboHelp 2017 to create the help system for our new product. We really liked the Indigo layout, so we customized it (heavily) and applied it. That is working great so far.However, I noticed today that some of the links in the topics themselves are not working on iPhone (iPhone SE and iPhone 6). When I tap them, the same page is just reloaded and sometimes after the tap, the content is no longer scrollable.I thoroughly tested the links on other devices (Android Galaxy S4 mini, iPad, Android Galaxy Tab S2, iMac, various Windows 10 browsers) and the links work everywhere else.You can check this behavior yourself on iPhone: For example, in CELUM Marketing Project Management Help the links (light blue, bold text) in the section "First steps" don't work at all and only reopen the same page ("Get started") again, while the links in the bullet list on the same page work fine.On other pages it is also wildly different between links and pages and I can't really
