Hello, I'm having trouble publishing in frameless. Even deleting the files from the last generated version, in the frameless folder, my changes are not being published in the versions that I generate. It is always presenting an old text, on which I have already made many changes. I can preview the changes in my project, but when I publish the program it is ignoring my last changes.My version is 2020.8.34

I am using RH 2019. I have a cover image with text on it. When I use the mouse, I can select additional text that apparently is behind the graphic. I can't find it in the HTML or anywhere. I need to remove the extra text on the right of the attached image.

I inadvertently saved a file in the View-Only format that I need to revise. How do I chage the status of this file back to an editable format?

I need/want to specify a common context sensitive ID map file from several projects but can't figure out or find documentation about how to refer to a file that is NOT in the project directory.  For example, if I have a file called HelpContext.h in ProjectA's directory, under the [MAP] (and possibly the [TEXT POPUPS] section, then the ProjectA.HHP file can contain something like this,...[MAP]#include HelpContext.h[TEXT POPUPS]HelpContext.h And it builds and works fine.  But if HelpContext.h is a file used by several projects, I would like to be able to reference it something like: [MAP]#include <a file path to HelpContext.h>[TEXT POPUPS]<a file path to HelpContext.h> All the examples I've stumbled on assume the .h file will be in the project directory.Thanks.

Hi,Could you show me the step by step about: in one topic I need a link that leads to a specific part of that same topic. Example: When I access the topic and clicks on a link, it take me to a specific part of that topic.I use this link: https://helpx.adobe.com/es/robohelp/using/creating_editing_bookmarks.html, but I can´t create it.Robohelp 2020.8.34      

Hello there, I am using Robohelp 2022. I want to organize the topics in such a way that whenever I change the topic folder it doesn't break the link after integration in the website. For example,I create folder 'A' and add topic X to it and then published it on the website.Later on I create another folder B and added the topic X to it and then published it. How do I make sure that the path remains the same and link is not broken on the website?

Good morning,I have the RH 2022.0.346 version and I would like to ask you if it is possible to insert, within an HTML5 preset, two bottons that allows you to forward ("next" page) and back ("previous"page) a page, without having to click each time on the relative paragraph in the TOC. Good morning,   I am having an issues with Robohelp 2022 where when a series of JPEG's are placed into an article, under the print preview screen ( for Chrome and Microsoft Edge ), it shows an almost blank page at the beginning and the end. It displays correctly when you just click on the article, but only does this in the print preview. On the nearly blank article, it does show the date in the top left, the article name in the top right, and the URL at the bottom. I am wondering if it has something to do with the sizing of the JPEG's that we are placing in this article. It is a 71 page article that shows all 71 pages correctly in chrome, but the print preview shows 73 pages, including the blank at the beginning and end.   Here is an example of the HTML for one of the images. <p><img alt="" src="../../../assets/images/Training_Page_01.jpg" /></p>   The size of the 1st image is 3497pixels height x 2481pixels width while the ones following vary in size. I wrote the content of my project in Google doc.Copy paste the content from google doc to the robohelp. Now I am not able to change the font family and styling in the robohelp. I tried to do it from the css file but the changes are not reflected.

I am first time using Robohelp and created a Basic project with it.When the URL for the project is created I want to edit and then publish with the ID or page name so as to shorten the URL.How to do it? Or is it already there in the tool which I am missing. 

Good morning, I have installed RoboHelp 2022 and generated a test PDF file. I have a Masterpage that I used for the topic that has Header and Footer information. When I preview the page the Header and Footer display. When I generate the page to my local computer, the and Preview it, the Header and Footer do not display. Can anyone provide me insite into what the issue may be?

Does anyone know how to go under the hood to customize (for instance) the Charcoal skin to show a more compact search results that is not 3 lines per entry?   -Matt

I notice that importing old (X3) projects to RH2019 Classic results in files that are incompatible with the Microsoft HTML Help Workshop compiler (hhc.exe).  For example, the HHC (Table of Contents) file is now in XML and all original HTM files have been prepended with XML.  When attempting to compile using HHC.exe, it produces an error on the HHC and warnings for the HTMs.  In short, though the compiler does produce output, there is no TOC in the CHM produced.  I presume, based on recent experience, that the same would happen if I had an HHK (index) as well. Is there a means (option?) in RH 2019 Classic such that those files match the Microsoft standard HTML formats?  If not, I would be required  to run the RH compiler from its own command line to generate the CHM.  This is problematic since now, anyone wanting to do a build of our system will require a license just for this one compilation step!  Or did I miss something?

Hello, I am having an issue with RoboHelp 2022. We upgraded a RoboHelp Classic Project and when we go to create a new output, the default topic gives us this message: "It may have been moved, edited, or deleted." The file displays properly when we manually navigate to it, as well as everything else in the project. There are also 2 folders in My Documents: "_rh2022" and the other one does not have this suffix. The 2022 folder appears to be the project folder.

I am using RH2020. We link to source documents that are in Word. These documents sometimes contain tables. Typically, these do not work well when linked in RH. Are there settings I can change, perhaps in my css that will allow me to use linked documents with tables and have the tables pull into RH correctly? 

I recently installed the Font Awesome icons (i.e. symbol font) in Microsoft Word so that when using the Insert > Symbol option, I can change the Font dropdown (on the Symbols tab) to FontAwesome to see and select the icon I want to insert into the Word document. I'm looking for a way in RoboHelp 2015 to also be able to do this. When choosing Insert > Symbol, I'd like to be able to see the list of FontAwesome icons so I can select one to put into my Topic. But I'm not seeing a way to do this. I know I can do screen captures of each of the FontAwesome icons, either via MS Word or even one of the many websites that display Font Awesome icons, and then paste that screen capture into RoboHelp, but I'd rather be able to select the symbol from a list when I need one. Anyone have any thoughts or ideas on how to get the Font Awesome icons into RoboHelp? I'm just not seeing a way to do this. Thank you.

Has anyone here experienced what I describe below and, if so, have you been able to achieve any resolution. On Monday, Sept. 8, I purchased the download version of the 1.3 upgrade to the Technical Communication Suite. On the download software page there are three items listed: installation instructions, Adobe 9, and a Unix Capture Utility -- however, the Technical Communication Suite software package (Framemaker, RoboHelp, Captivate) is nowhere to be found. (The installation instructions asks the user to uninstall the software, click on a 'download' link and reinstall the Technical Communications Suite, so it appears that Tech Comm Suite software is required - additionally, the suite's Web page describes enhancements to both Framemaker and RoboHelp).No person, in either Asia or the US, seems capable of helping me. I spent approx. 1 hour on the phone Monday, at least two hours yesterday, and I am now well into my second hour today -- the 5 or 6 tech has just put me on hold. Does anyone

 Robohelp 2022.0.346 Review: File cannot be seen in Adobe Creative Cloud even though it is listed there. Browser Chrome.Posted a review using the Review tab in Robohelp.Invited reviewer.Got feedback.Received email from Creative Cloud.Clicked to open browser (Chrome)/Comments appear but the file contents do not appear.Since cannot view the feedback file and the topic in Author view on same screen, cannot view annotations to correct the content.Thanks

I have RH2020 now. When I click 'check for updates', I can get as far as update 8. The September 2022 release is only available as a trial. I thought that I pay yearly for a license that ensures that I always have the latest version. Or does such license not exist?

I am using Frameless studio skin(Robo help version  2020.8.34).If we navigate to a specific topic in a html page(using cross reference or by hyperlink). The corresponding page is not getting selected in left navigation pane. If we use cross reference, even if the topic is in same html page, once we navigate to that particular topicid, selection goes off in left navigation pane. If we use hyperlink, if topic is in same html page, in local machine, it works fine, when we navigate to that topic. But in web, once we navigate to that particular topicid, selection goes off in left navigation pane. If we use crossreference/hyperlink to a topic in different html file, when we navigate to that html topic, url shows that htmlfile with #topicid. But the same html file is not getting selected in left pane. The left pane shows only the list of html pages with none got selected. Thanks

Hello everyone!I have just recently upgraded from RH 2109 Classic to RH 2020, and I have been having a pressing issue. On RH 2019 Classic, using a Word Output Preset, I was able to generate a Word document for just one topic that was inside a specific TOC, on the Chapter Layout section. However, in RH 2020, I'm not able to find anysuch option. I was wondering if this feature was disabled...Can anyone please help me clarify this?

I am using 'Templates' to output PDF in RoboHelp 2022. In these templates, the layout set by subdividing First, Left (odd page), and Right (even page) is used. However, when outputting to PDF, there is a problem that the left and right layouts are reversed.  For example, in the Left layout, the page number of the footer is set to be displayed on the left, and in the Right Layout, it is set to be displayed on the right. However, when outputting to PDF, the output is reversed.  

 I currently have thousands of context-sensitive numbers in my project (the overall project is over 30,000 topics) and I output to a chm file. This has worked for us for years. Now our IT department is saying that chm files can be hacked and they are asking us to come up with a more secure method of delivering the help. Is there another output from Robohelp that would work? Something more secure? Something that is not going to lose my field-level context-sensitive help? Just a note that the chm file is in our software install. If I have to change the help, it is definitely going to affect our Dev team. Thanks for any and all comments or suggestions.
