Buongiornoho robohelp 2020.6.76 e ho un problema sulla creazione dei map ids.Ho creato un nuovo file e lo vedo dal contents correttamente. in output ,nell'elenco dei map files non vedo il file appena creato. Provo a trascinarlo con drag and drop dall'elenco contents all'elenco mapids  ma non me lo permette. Cosa devo fare per inserire un nuovo file nell'elenco map ids?grazie per l'aiutodaniela

Hello, community. I am creating some help documentation for a software product that requires me to do screen grabs. I insert the images into my RH project, render the output, and upload it to my server only to have quality images look blurry/fuzzy. I've tried to scour the threads for help, but I can't seem to find anything addressing my issue. The output I'm using is Frameless HTML. Below is the screengrab from my monitor for my software app.  Here's the same image grabbed from my server after being inserted into my RH project and rendered using Frameless HTML. Hopefully, you can see the blurred text in the 2nd image as I do. If you see no differences, please let me know.  Thank you!  

RoboHelp 2020.7.46, Win 10, 64 Bit I have a Master Page created and selected in my OutputI am generating Microsoft HTML Help and selected the Master Page.When I generate the CHM file, the Master Page does not appear.Is there a setting I am missing? Shawn

Hi, I need to create projects with a homepage, a bridge page that allow to access the projects. I need to devide my projects into 2 smaller ones due to the amount of content and different target audience.Is is possible to merge projects in 3 levels:- a parent project- child project- "sub-child" projectassume the child project can't be a parent projet for another child project? 🙂 so should I go with the option 1 parent page > many child pages?Second thing, the parent project should contain any content (possibly will break in the merged output) - how to prepare the parent project to set the access (links) to child projects? Should if be 1 html file with the whole design for the homepage?Thanks much for all tips

Hello,I want to unmerge a project and migrate to 2020 at once (now on RH 2019 Classic).Output is CHM. Made a small project in RH2020 for this purpose. All going fine.Context help is launched from our application by passing window ID, windows id is used in mapping file and topic is defined there.Result: When I push on the F1 in our application, indeed the right topic is shown in windows help gui, but the TOC 'cursor' remains on the name of the default page (or first topic in the toc).My question is 'how to show the place of the topic in the toc'? First I did some searches here. Windows settings was default (no entry). I did make an entry and default the box autosynchronize TOC is ticked. It makes no difference with or without a windows setting defined best regardsOlivier

Hello,Is anyone else having issues with the deprecation of libraries used by RH?I am one of those users that has to launch RH from the command line in order to generate PDFs. This week, my builds have been taken much longer to generate and sometimes get stuck in a loop where the process never completes.In my terminal window, i am getting errors like the ones below when i try to generate a PDF.(node:3487) [DEP0005] DeprecationWarning: Buffer() is deprecated due to security and usability issues. Using RoboHelp 2020.7.46, W10, 64Bit I converted an old RH project and trying to run Spell check. I do have the option checked in preferences, but none of the words are underlined. Here is text from one of my files.I saved and reopened the file, clicked the spell check button, and nothing happens. I have restarted RH, reopened the files, stil nothing is being marked as misspelled. Any suggestions? Shawn

Good afternoon! I'm a new old user of RoboHelp and to refresh myself on how to work it using RoboHelp 2020, I copied the sample About_RoboHelp.rhpj. I renamed it after opening the copied project and added a few of my own topics. Now, when I generate CHM and Responsive output, the new topics I added are showing correctly after some tweaking. But I can't get the output "Title" to display with the new project name -- instead it still appears as "About RoboHelp."  I've changed the Project Setting name to the new name as well but the old project name still appears as the output title. Can anyone tell me why this is happening and how to correct it? Thank you!Elizabeth

I'm an experienced technical writer and RoboHelp 2019 Classic user. Our group has been using RH for the past 20 years from the time it was Blue Sky. Because of the number of help files we maintain, a RoboHelp project template defining our master pages, styles, and output format and parameters is in use to ensure consistency in authoring and output look and feel. Our template folder containing all relevant template files is installed on each of our laptops at C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe RoboHelp 2019\RoboHTML\Template\en_US. Having it at that location makes it an option to select when starting a new RoboHelp 2019 Classic project. Our output is a slightly customized HTML5 output. For our purposes, RoboHelp 2019 Classic has been a solid tool. Much to our dismay, Adobe has chosen to continue with their so-called minimalist version of the application phasing out RoboHelp 2019 Classic.  I've sold our dept. on staying with Adobe and upgrading our project files to RoboHelp 2020, but

I have a topic that I've inserted an iframe.  On the insert I selected a spreadsheet in my project.  I want the spreadsheet to display in the iframe.  Instead when I open that topic it just automatically downloads the spreadsheet.  What am I doing wrong?

This is a weird problem that happens inconsistently.Here is a screen shot: Notice that, in both the data tree on the left and the TOC on the right, there are topics whose file name is displayed, rather than the topic Title. This seems to happen without any action on my part, although I can't promise I didn't unintentionally do it. Has anyone seen this problem? What causes it? How can I fix it? Thanks!Cindy 

System InformationMACOS BigSur Version 11.5.2. RoboHelp 2020 (Latest install) My colleague has just had a licensing issue where the renewed license subscription was not working on her computer. Therefore, after trying all of the normal things (such as logging into her Adobe account again), she tried uninstalling and reinstalling RoboHelp. However, when she did this, it is just hanging on the initial loading screen that displays when you launch RoboHelp. Therefore, I think she is now having a install issue as opposed to a licensing issue.Any ideas on what she can do to fix this?

Good morning all, I am reaching out because I have researched and tried to figure out how to fix this issue for days now and cannot find any solutions. We are still using Adobe Robohelp 2017 and when we set up the version control for sharepoint , all works but when closing the project and re-opening it , it reverts to the previous sharepoint connection url?!?!?!? Thank you in advance for any help you can provide before I go crazy. Christele

I've been banging my head against a wall for days. When I open some topics in the WebHelp I created using RH 2020, they are formatted correctly when opened from the Contents or Index tab, but are formatted incorrectly in places when opened from the Search tab. For example, text that should not be bolded is bolded when I open the topic from the Search tab. In the below screenshot of a topic opened from the Index, the circled equations are formatted correctly.Here's the same topic opened using Search. It's a little hard to see in this image, but the parentheses and plus signs are missing:Any ideas on what's going on and what, if anything, I can do to fix it?

Hello everyone! I've recently started using Robohelp and came across a little problem. I need to make a FAQ that's already written and has a general structure to the questions. When I make a new topic in Robohelp it arranges the topic in alphabetical order, but I need it to be chronological. Is there a way I can do this? Do I need to make a folder in a folder?

Hi Team,I'm working RH 2020 and using frameless output for all my contents. I use glossary term feature for definitions and I have a query on the output of glossary.For ex: I have a glossary Batches and I have given the definition and added the glossary term into my content. But in my content I have a keyword as Batch. So when I merge the glossary term with the content, the keyword Batch changes to Batches. So is there any way to make the remain the same even after merging the glossary term to the particular keyword. Apologize for this huge para. I've created many snippets in my Master Snippets File. I did not place them in topic pages yet. Is there a way to print my snippets in the snippets pod? 

The image below has been assigned the NPX LR conditional tag. But there is no color indication. Where can I go to get that to show up?    

Several issues in the attached...1.  Make a two-digit number line up with one-digit number in a list (yellow)2. Make a multiple-line indented paragraph line up at the left edge (light blue)3. Hi, we've been having some trouble trying to move the search box to the blue "toolbar" below its default position (see picture below). Is there a way to do this in RoboHelp (possibly by modifying some source files)? Moving what seemed to be the search box element in HTML did not work for us (the search icon was not visible). We're using RH 2020 with the Oceanic skin, using HTML5 output. Thank you.

Frame 2020 uses RH2019 components, but I need its output to blend into a Robohelp 2020 output using responsive help. When I import the Frame book into Robohelp, I cannot get Robohelp to honor the filename markers so that Robohelp uses the specific filenames I need.  Does anyone know how to get Robohelp to honor the filename markers (I've used a custom marker and PageBreak markers, neither seem to work)? Or, does anyone know how to use scripting to get RH to rename files? If I can get that to work, I can write a script to get the new filename from within the html files. Robohelp 2020.7, FrameMaker 16.0.4 Thanks!

Curious whether Adobe plans to have any sort of presence at next month's Society for Technical Communication Summit conference (Chicago/Rosemont). I've attended this conference multiple times in the past - including Adobe's Tech Comm Tools Workshop - and while making arrangements to attend next month, noticed that Adobe doesn't appear to have ANY presence there - sponsorship, workshop, or booth. I realize it's not directly a RoboHelp post, but I thought it was at least somewhat related and that some others might appreciate any insight as well. Thank you!
