Hi Team, I want to know what was the rule for sorting Glossary/Index in Robohelp 2017, especially for Chinese, Japanese or other Asian languages. From what I can see it was by sorting by English words first, then Chinese or Japanese words.And is anyway we can change the sorting rule in Robohelp?Also can we change the order of some words if we want manually? Thank you! 

I am currently testing the Robohelp server as we want to use it for insights within our organisation.I published one of the projects on the server (which has 2 children). I then tested it to compare it with the one from our internal server. When using the same search in the search bar, Robohelp server was not as accurate as ours and it kept bringing up a specific document first no matter what the search was. A week later, no content from one of the children appeared anymore, no matter how I searched for it. Today I tested again and no content appears at all, that means the other child doesn't display any results anymore. The only result that appears is that odd document which kept appearing initially when I tested the server.I tested this for another project with one child as the project is WIP and it's also not displaying any results.Just to clarify the process I am taking:1. Generate Child 1 locally2. Generate Child 2 locally3. Generate Master Project locally4. Publish on Robohelp Se

I have Adobe robohelp2019 installed on PC but unable to start Robohelp 2019 and getting Error : Update required Your browser or operating system is no longer supported.We have mutiple PC which have the same issue.Please help

Hello I did just install the trial version.The installation went through without errors (windows 10)When I start RoboHelp to start my try-out journy I get a "third" white window over the start page "New Project", "Open Project" ...I can move and rescale the white window but can not click anything behind it.If I close the white window it will also close RoboHelp.I assume that there is some login or other content intended to be in that window ... but nothing to click or finish with hitting enter ...Any suggestions? 

The Help describes: You can use variables in the title. To do so, type Ctrl + 1 and select a variable from the drop-down list, and then press Enter. (https://helpx.adobe.com/robohelp/using/generate-responsive-html5-output.html)When I do this, nothing happens! Of course, I created a variable first. After the fail, I also tried by creating a variable set, but still nothing happens.I tried it with the About RoboHelp sample project. Same problem.

I just exported the skin that I have created for my first RH2020.6.76 project (result is a .skz file). When I import it in my second RH2020 project, I get following error: "Importing skin from different RoboHelp version is not supported. Upgrade the skin to current RoboHelp version and try again."The skin that I have created was a customization of the Azure_Blue skin.

Hi all!My question is about the new frameless output for Robohelp 2020.In a training video from Adobe there was a hint that the customized skins can be exported and imported for other projects.Just right-click > Export and > Import functions in the skin tab.I can't find the function. Does anyone know how to do this? I installed RoboHelp to assist a colleague, but on starting I just see this white screen:I can't do anything with the app without closing this blank panel, and if I do that the app closes. The only useful-looking log (please find attached) that I could find was this:"%APPDATA%\Roaming\Adobe\RoboHelp\rhlogs\15\2021_11_24\RH_Log_1637774895739.log"I know there's a known issue with the installer but that went without a hitch, and this seems to be something else. I've also tried launching as an admin user with no success.

If I press the mute button on my keyboard while editing a topic, the Cross Reference dialog opens followed by the Select Topic dialog (and the audio mutes). This is not a big problem, but similar to discussion  Pressing the CTRL key automatically zooms out

I am using RH 2020.6.76. Although I have set all the parameters in the output setup with Azure blue skin, I could not able to see the functional bar in the final html output. Moreover, the buttons like next, previous, expand/collapse, print are also not visible in the final html output. Please help me out to resolve this issue. Thanks in advance.

I would like to know if it is possible to specify the width of a table in a Table style in the css.  I see that it is possible to specify it in the table properties of a specific table but in the style I tried the Layout tab but it doesn’t seem to work. In the Preview you can see the width of the table decreasing or increasing according to the specified width but when I apply the style to a table, the width is not applied.  

We are using condition expressions and having problems. I found this in the user guide.Does this mean, that you cannot have both an include an exclude in the same condition expression? A condition expression must have all includes or all excludes? Thank you

I upgraded from Update 5 to Update 6. Everything seems fine except when I type in a search term I don't get any results. I've tried Chrome and Edge. I am not sure what steps to take to trouble shoot.

I know that I should upgrade. I actually have access to RoboHelp 2020, but my help files are for older desktop products. I am using the WinHelp format.I was running into issues trying to generate a new Help ID because I was showing IDs were available, and my developer was showing the ID was in use. I could see that some of the IDs that appeared to be available when I autogenerated a new Help ID were not once I checked the duplicate map ID and used map ID reports. I have not had a problem adding new help IDs to the project in the past. The developer said that when he connects the file to the application, he receives a "Failed to Launch" help message. Originally it was pulling up the wrong help topic. Now it won't pull up anything. I vaguely there's a way to regenerate a help file. I was wondering if that might fix my issue. If so, can someone please tell me how to do that? I will look into upgrading to RoboHelp 2020 after this release. However, I must admit that I am terrified that the

(Using RoboHelp 2020.6.76) We converted our guide from FrameMaker to RoboHelp earlier this year. We have localized the text in the HTML files, but many subheading TOC entries remain in English. These were converted with a "TOC" bookmark instead of an XREF, like so:      <h3><a id="TOC_Creating_and_designating"></a>创建并指定工作组文件夹</h3> The TOC file has a link to the bookmark and uses the "navtitle" text in the TOC:      <page navtitle="Creating and designating a workgroup folder" href="../contents/VW2022_Guide/Workgroup/Sharing_custom_content_using_workgroup_folders.htm#TOC_Creating_and_designating" format="html" processing-role="normal"></page> We can paste the correct translation into the navtitle, but we'll have to do them all over again the next time we translate. Is there any way to get this to update automatically going forward?

We have a RoboHelp 2020 project with multiple microcontent files. A few responses to intents withn the microcontent files contain instances of drop-down text. In our Frameless output (using the studio skin), things were appearing okay so far. However, since today morning, when we're searching for any term whose response contains drop-down text, the drop-down hotspots are showing up twice, and expanded by default. Here's an example:When we click the drop-down hotspot, it behaves abnormally (doesn't collapse and scrolls the page to the top). After a while, it get backs to normal.Everything looks good in the source. The preview appears good. We've also tried clearing the browser (both Chrome and Edge) cache. Nothing worked.Has anyone experienced this behavior in the microcontent-based search results? Any thoughts/pointers?

Hello, I try to create a useable print-output. With RH2017 the word output was ok - that means when I generated it, all the paragraphs and character formatings were assigned to a style sheet. In that way I was able to format a bigger document pretty fast in a post-processing step. For me it seems like the word output for RH2019 v11 (new) is far from that.  To give some examples: The structure of my help TOC isn't used as expected -> books are ignored, all topics are on the same level. Only the structur from the content level is used. I don't see any option to assign list styles and certainly no lists with several levels, which I use a lot. Formating on span / character-format level, doesn't work. The formating is implemented as direct formatting, which get lost, when you edit the paragraph in the post-processing. The styles are mixed with direct formating, that makes the post processing nearly impossible. Some headings aren't in the output (no tags etc. added). Does some

Hi I am a novice when it comes to Robohelp and I am experiencing a rather annoying problem. Every time I open a project and then move on to open another project all the links in the previous project break and the files are automatically deleted in the folder structure Please assist

The recent post "White window at startup after trial installation" reminds me of a similar problem that I encountered. The RoboHelp window becomes empty after deleting a hex color value. I was able to reproduce this with the sample project About RoboHelp as follows:- Edit the p.caption style- Double-click the font color (708090 is selected), press DELETE and ENTER

Can someone explain how to add index keywords and subkeywords in RoboHelp2020? Or can someone show me where a good tutorial on RoboHelp 2020 can be found? I've recently moved from RoboHelp 2017 to 2020 and I need to understand how to do this.

Hi. I'm using RoboHelp 2020.6.76 on a Windows 10 machine. I'm having an odd problem with my published Table of Contents. Topics are being displayed in a section where they shouldn't be, completely replacing the topics that should be there.  The following picture shows the TOC in my published output. The red box is around the topics that are in the wrong place. The Manage Speaker Parameters section is correct, but everything under it about M2M and contact closures is wrong, and the topics that should be there are missing. Further down the image in the green box, the M2M topics are in the right place and order, as expected. The following image is from my project's TOC, which is displaying correctly. The first green box is around the contents that should be displaying under the Manage Speaker Parameters section (the part that's wrong in my published output TOC). The second green box is around the M2M/contact closures content, which is in the right place and displaying

Hi, I am trying to generate a chm file in RH 2019 Classic view. I choose an output location and hit Generate and nothing happens. It says Select Webhelp output SSL but there is nothing in the dropdown to select. This initialization dialog looks different than when I generate chms in my other help files. Please see screenshot below.

Can a RoboHelp topic pull information from another topic in the same project?Can I insert an image and descriptive information in one topic and have that information appear in another topic, not just a hyperlink?
