Substance 3D Assets and Community Assets

i can download materials just fine, also on my account page i can see 275 credits on https://substance3d.adobe.com/assets i can se 90, in creative cloud desktop i can see download button, but nothing downloads

i need help, it says that the material is applied on the bottom but it doesnt show up in the viewport?ever since ive downloaded the plugin and its integration tools, the texture hasnt shown up once. 

I cant upload my sbsar file to the website it keeps giving me this error message. 

Hi I tried looking around, but not 100% sure, if I were to stop my subscription to Substance 3D, would I loose the points (asset points?) I have to download textures? I have been subbed for a long time and have a huge amount pf points, dont want to loose them, but I might need to pause of cancel my subscription. Thank you

Hey there, I really like using substance materials and the 3D Suite as a whole.BUT as I am using Blender it is very annoying to having to use the very unfinished Addon which only allows to import downloaded sbsar files. It would be much better to be able to Add the sbsar-files to the Asset browser so you can search and download right from the Internal Blender Asset Browser. As of now I always use sources like Blenderkit or other Material libraries just because its a few more clicks to use your materials. That's sad cause I actually like the quality and costumizabillity of your product!Any ideas or updates on this?Best,Johannes

If you have an Adobe 3D subscription, please login with your Adobe account using the "Log in with Adobe" button on the login page. If you have/had a Substance account, please login with your substance account using your email ad password combination on the login page. Being logged in on adobe.com logs you automatically with your Adobe account on Substance 3D Assets, so try logging out and logging in again with your Substance account if you are logged in by default with your Adobe account.Both accounts are not linked, so you won't see the downloads you have on your Substance account if you login with your Adobe account.

Hello, i have now a Substance 3D Plan for students. I played a little bit with the software and its amazing, but it seems i cant download any assets from the stubstance 3d Assets why is that? It says there are 0 downloads available. Best RegardsKarim

This news is a biggie for us: we’ve just launched a major new release of Substance 3D Painter, including a bunch of new features! Notably, you can now access Substance 3D Assets directly within Painter! Head over to our post on the Painter forum to learn more.

Until recently —last month—, you could right-click and open any individual asset in any given listing in the Substance 3D Assets website (search results, collections, filtered listings etc.) in a new tab on your browser. Now you are required to navigate to the asset's page on the same tab as the search results (Ctrl + click won't open the link on a new tab either, and the right-click menu only picks up the image and not the link), which makes browsing long search results VERY inconvenient. You can always go back using the controls in the browser, but all the way down very long listings it takes a while for browsers such as Chrome to actually "remember" and go back to the point of the dynamic search results you were in before accessing the individual asset page, and sometimes it will fail to do so completely! I'm not sure if this is a current glitch of a conscious design/code change, but, as I've noted above, it makes for a very inconvenient browsing experience.

Hey, there's some interesing height map layering I'd like to look at for reference in this SBS file, but when it's opened in designer its missing the main height map forms. I've looked at the graph and can see some areas where nodes look to be missing. Imagine im in the middle of work and suddenly I need a roof material from substance3d.adobe.com/assets (or the app both work the same way) and gues what.. the material is 300MB file that downloads 200kb/s and that is 20-30 min of waiting.And im asking why.. why is this so slow? Before adobe bought algorythmic substance materials like this i got downloaded under a minute or 2. Why is this so slow now?

I want to download a material from the store (or send to sampler) but I can't. It says I have no download credits. I'm currently in the free trial. I try to pay to subscribe so I can go ahead and download, but get an error indicating that I already own that subscription. 

Explaine me can i use Community assets for example Bacon for my workshop in steam or other games for commercial use? Dont need to tell that i have no right to sell, i know it. I need to know only one thing: can i use it for commercial use for free. I would also like to clarify one more point, can i use the asstes without modification.

Hello, I was just wondering why the polycount of the models found on the assets page doesn't correspond to the polycount I get when I open the FBX file in an external tool (Maya, Unity, e.g.).Take this office chair: https://substance3d.adobe.com/assets/db647de2625d86f6c792f8c46eea2c0b7def49ec. It states that it is made of 1.6K triangles, but when I open the FBX file in Maya, it shows 56.7K instead. I'm somewhat new to 3D, so there is probably something I'm missing

I've tried to get the student license for Substance Painter, but it didn't work. At first I tried to fill the form with the email address that was used to create Adobe account, but it said I typed invalid UniqueID and asked me to correct errors before submitting the form. After changing account details and setting primary email to the alias of the first one I've used, I could successfuly send the form. The problem is I didn't get any email back. I've checked my inbox multiple times, there is no message neither in received nor spam. Proxmox mail gateway that my university uses to filter messages also doesn't show anything.Submitting the form again displays error stating that UniqueID already exists. Is there any way to solve this? It seems to me that there is no button that would allow me to resend the email. I receive every other message that Adobe sends me, so it's not a problem of my email address.

For my work, I need to create a 3D scene of a dresser with a lot of cosmetics via Adobe Substance 3D Sampler. Although I have a MIRACO (a 3D scanner), there are too few relevant materials around me to scan, and my own modeling ability is very limited. So I would like to ask if there are any relevant models in the model library that I can use, how do I get them, and is there a difference between free and paid for these models?I'd appreciate it if you could provide me with an answer.

Im a stock photographer and videographer and work in 3D as well.  I currently use substance 3D Sampler for texture building but I wanted to know if I upgrade my plan to the plan that includes the 3D models can I use those models in stock?  I know I cant just resell the model as stock, but can I use the 3D models in stock photography and video as long as they modified and retuxured and part of a larger scene?

Thank you so much for clicking in. I have some questions about Substance that I would like you all to help me with.I am a graphic designer. The software I used most before was Photoshop. Occasionally, I would use Premiere Pro to edit videos. But because of my work, I now need to do some 3D models. Because I lack the knowledge of 3D modeling, I purchased a MIRACO (a 3D scanner). So far,  I have learned how to use the scanner and the file output. Can I put the files exported from the scanner directly on top of Substance for editing? And if I need to edit my scanned models, what are the basic operations I need to learn (it would be great if there is an official course from Adobe). Besides that, has anyone tried 3D modeling with the help of a scanner, and if so, can you share with me how to make better use of it and the software to improve the efficiency of modeling? Thanks for reading and answering!

Hello, I have a subscription for Substance, and I can not download assests from neither the web nor creative desktop client. Everytime I try to donwload one of them, I get this error message : to download assest, first subscribe to a 3D offer. I have tried to logout and login again in the client, and still the same error. Thank you
