Adobe Fonts

DAY 3: Briefly, I can edit a single image uploaded from my computer. I can create entirely new images. I cannot use reference 2 at all to add anything to the image, merge images or anything else. I cannot access the previously created images on my generated history for editing, though I can view them. I am in the process of creating a comic book using Adobe. This has brought everything to a grinding halt due to the sequential nature of such a book. Also, I have attempted to access Firefly through 3 different devices, one which had never signed in whatsoever to Firefly, all the same response. If this continues much longer, I will have to move my work to another, more reliable platform, cancel my subscription and get a refund for the unused credits remaining.  

Even after updating to the newest version of windows 11, I still cannot access created files for editing. I click on the box, and nothing happens. I can access saved images from my computer files. Even there I can only use reference 1, nothing happens when clicking reference 2. Is anyone paying attention here? This should have been fixed yesterday. It's day 2 and counting! Hello!!!

I added this font named Playwrite CC Portugal to Adobe Suite, and it keeps displaying like this in every programs including Illustrator and InDesign:  This is how the text app eared when I added it from the Adobe Fonts website:  It seems like all the other cursive fonts on my laptop is having a same problem. How do I solve this?

I’m working on some graphics and branding for my website, and I’m having a strange issue with Illustrator. A few fonts are showing as activated in Adobe Fonts, but they don’t appear in Illustrator’s font list. I’ve already tried restarting Illustrator and Creative Cloud, but the fonts still don’t show up.What makes it confusing is that the fonts appear to be properly activated in Creative Cloud, so I’m not sure if this is a font cache problem or something related to Illustrator. I’m using the fonts while working on the visual design for my Einstein IQ Test website: https://einsteiniqtest.comeOS/macOS + Illustrator version, and I can make this post much more specific and realistic.Has anyone experienced the same issue? Is there a reliable way to refresh the Adobe Fonts connection or clear whatever cache Illustrator uses without reinstalling everything?

hi - does anyone know how to view the full glyph set of a font/font face within Adobe Fonts? When I am searching for fonts to use, I am often looking at/for specific letters or looking to see what "extras" come with a font. It seems obvious (and is easy on other font sites) to look at a grid of every glyph for a given font, but I can't seem to find this feature on Adobe Fonts site.  What am I missing? thanks for any help, Debbie

Hi,We are trying to use Urbane on our website. We are moving from a self-hosted solution to using Adobe Fonts (typekit).When we use the Adobe Fonts version of Urbane in our staging environment, the font does not display correctly.Lowercase letters u, v, w, x, and y are 1px shorter than other lowercase letters when displayed at 16px. The tittle of the “i” is nearly touching the stem, making it look like a lowercase L. The example below demonstrates how it almost makes the letters look like they’re in camelcase:I have contacted Adobe support who say the only solution is to use another font! But that isn’t a solution when the brand font is Urbane. Does anyone have any ideas how to resolve?Thanks,Duncan

Hello people of the world!Just as the title says, all of my installed Adobe Fonts are gone, poof! I opened Illustrator, told I needed to log-in (last use was on Aug 30) so I did, opened my AI project file and was greeted with a Missing Fonts pop-up. I also opened PS to check, also gone. I checked CC and there were no fonts!So I looked it up on the internet and showed that it might be a sync problem. I did the CC preference, torn off font sync, log off and in, restarted my desktop, etc etc. I only got 2 fonts back! Crazy! Will this problem fix automatically on its own or should I just cope and re-install the fonts if I could still remember the names? Any input is welcome :DThanks!

Freight Sans on adobe font site does not sit in the text box (indesign) the same way the Pro version does. It sits lower within the box, while the Pro version aligns with the top of the box. I have work with Pro version that now when font replaced need to be manually fixed. Problem because coworkers still have Pro version and we all work on same files. Any suggestions?

Hey!I currently work on a game and found a really good Font. However, I don´t know if I can use it or not. I want to use the fonts for the UI. They should only appear as buttons (I would use them as Vectorgraphics made in Illustrator) .I already read the FAQ, but I didnt quite understand how those rules are with desktop games 

In the monospace typefaces I have, except for Courier, the ones I've tested seem to have an x-height taller than the surrounding characters at the same point size.Georgia and MenloI guess I just don't want to use Courier because it is so overused. A zero with a line through it would be nice as well, but no big deal.Suggestions?Thanks.

Look, there are much more important things going on in the world but this whole practice of Adobe Fonts euphemistically “retiring” entire libraries of fonts is absolutely ridiculous. This practice destroys whatever implied reliability this service may have had. The Font Bureau library specifically added a ton of value and removing it severely undermines this. I totally get that relationships and contracts with third parties can change, but Adobe should not make the customers suffer for their inability to support the platforms they create. I don't know what the answer is here, but I know the current arrangement ain’t it.

It’s twice Arial Standard, but the second one looks like Narrow. Is it a typo mistake or another license, not the real Arial Narrow license? When I click on get for web, Narrow is shown at the second Standard. I need to know due to Corporate Design change. Thank you a a lot.

At the HVD Fonts type foundry, have a limited selection of typefaces on Adobe Fonts

Does Adobe have an actual font-manager? I ask because I have a vast library of installed fonts, and it's a PAIN in the ( * ) to scroll through them or even make sense of them.I've been using a font-management program called NexusFonts, which lets me tag my fonts and organize them into collections. That program does exactly what I want, but it's freeware, and so it's glitchy, and the interface leaves a lot to be desired. I can't believe that Adobe doesn't have anything comparable -- and yet, if they do, I've never seen it. What Adobe "does" have is a really crappy "font manager" built-into the AdobeCC Desktop App. This font manager has ZERO features, and all it really does is serve as a portal to push you into downloading new fonts from Adobe's online portal. It doesn't let me tag my installed fonts, or organize them in any fashion.  It only seems to be concerned with what fonts are available in the Adobe Cloud, which I really don't care about -- and even if I did, it doe

Hello. I am on a Windows 10 PC that has the latest update, and I have the most updated version of InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and Creative Cloud. This is an issue that has been happening to me for around two years, and I'm finally just getting sick of it. Every time I restart my computer, Adobe products are no longer able to recognize Adobe fonts. I know I'm logged into Adobe, because 1) I'm able to open the program in the first place and 2) I have Creative Cloud set to open upon restart, and it shows me as logged in. But when I open an InDesign document (or Illustrator/Photoshop file, but I work mainly in InDesign), it will tell me that any Adobe fonts are missing. If I look in my Adobe Fonts, the font in question will ALWAYS be marked as activated. The only solution is to deactivate every Adobe font in the document and then reactivate it and wait, a process which can take anywhere from 5-15 minutes. I should not have to spend 15 minutes every day making fonts work. Adobe Fonts are unable to integrate to my Webflow project, after creating 3 different APIs and waiting more than 12 hours it has been completely unsuccessful and the CDNs haven't been updated for me to work on this website. After reaching customer service I had the not pleasant fortune to chat with three Adobe Customer Support agents who didn't have a single idea of what an API was, nor cared to read that I already tried many things I found in the Adobe troubleshooting guides. My last resort was clearly CS. They kept on switching me from one agent to the other, the second agent kept on sending me dead links and even urls with several Typos (He didn't even knew the right Adobe Fonts URL) and finally he ended the conversation telling me to go check on the APIs website.good job mate! I got pissed off and asked the next one how can I report this,at least he understands..The only thing I could get from three agents whose english is not ideal and who work in a rude manner is t

Freights Sans Compressed is showing up with two different naming structures, splitting the font into two separate versions. For example I have Freight Sans Compressed Medium and FreightSansCmpPro Regular. This is causing issues sending files to clients where their fonts won’t synch correctly because their naming structure is consistent. I’ve tried uninstalling, reinstalling, restarting, new files, clear the adobe fonts cache, making sure I have no other version installed, pretty much everything you could think of.I finally got it to be consistent (for the minute, it has changed back on reopeing the doc) in my current illustrator document, but it’s still messed up in Indesign. The other problem is that FreightSansCmpPro version’s tabular lining actually works, but the Freight Sans Compressed versions tabular lining does nothing. I am having an issue with the font Grappa Variable not showing up as available in my iPad Illustrator app. I’ve synced it to my Adobe CC account and it shows up in the iPad Photoshop app just fine. Other variable fonts from Adobe CC have synced just fine to my Illustrator app on iPad. I have a 6 generation iPad Pro, and I’m using the latest version of the iPad Illustrator app. I’ve tried removing and re-syncing the font to my account, quitting the Illustrator app, logging out and back in, and restarting my iPad, but nothing has worked to make Grappa Variable show up in Illustrator. Is there anything I can do to make it work?

I’m resurrecting an old book for reprint from files created in 2000. It included a few Type 1 fonts, which I’ve had to upgrade (creating minor text reflow issues, but generally not bad). But one font, DIN 30640 Std Neutzeit Grotesk Bold Cond.otf seems fine on screen, but renders in a PDF/X-1a:2001 rather fat. Not obviously “faux bold” but just thicker than it should be, and thicker than its screen appearance. Say 15%.The former font this new DIN is replacing is “DIN Condensed Bold.ttf” (©1981, 2002). When I found out about the font issue, I acquired the new DIN font, and chose to disable the old one via Font Book. I see that the macOS placed it in this directory: [drive]>System>Library>Fonts>Supplemental.The new font was installed by Font Book into: [drive]>User>[username]>Library>Fonts.(I’ve never quite understood font & system file locations under OSX, though I get the idea of unix-based user-specific directories.)The old font is not available in Font Book

I am using some Adobe fonts in a site. They show up perfectly fine in Chrome and Firefox. They do not show in any version of Safari. I'm using  @1552174 in the CSS for the fonts. This is the CSS I'm using on an h2:.date h2 { font-family: 'korolev', sans-serif; font-weight: 500; letter-spacing: 0.1em; font-size: 650%; margin: 0; line-height: 0.8em; font-style: normal; } Is there a trick to getting Adobe web fonts to work in Safari?
