Hi @Alireza Mjd,

  1. Can you please post a full UI screenshot of AE with the Timeline visible and zoomed all the way out?
  2. Also, as Kevin asked, which exact version of AE are you running?
  3. Does this happen in one projects or all projects,
  4. If you open AE in Safe Mode, does the problem still occur? To run in Safe Mode, hold Ctrl + Alt + Shift (Win) or Cmd + Opt + Shift (macOS) while starting AE.

Thanks,
- David, After Effects Engineering Team

Hi Alireza,

Thanks for reaching out! I understand your After Effects timeline isn’t showing time in seconds anymore. Since you’ve already tried Ctrl+clicking the timecode and checked project, comp, and display settings, here are a couple more things to try:

Reset your workspace: Window > Workspace > Reset
Create a new project to test if it’s project-specific
Check for recent updates that might affect display behavior

In the meantime, let me know your AE version and OS—others may be seeing the same issue.

Thanks,

Kevin
